During open enrollment in my husband and I changed our Medicare supplement coverage from [redacted] ***/ Bankers Life to [redacted] I notified [redacted] of the change We had set up auto pay for premium payments to [redacted] *** Our premium payments were continued to be withdrawn in 2018, even though I had notified them that we changed to [redacted] I repeated the change in February and they then canceled my coverage but not my husbands I have been in contact with [redacted] ***, specifically, Lynn [redacted] and her manager, Renee at the Ann Arbor Michigan office I have also contacted the Livonia office, but they then just sent it back to Ann Arbor I have repeatedly sent them proof of coverage and I have been told that the check is in the mail, also told three different times that Lynn would hand deliver the check, which never happened Once because her knee went out, once family funeral, once just didn't show up along with it must have been lost and I would need to wait for

my husband and I was looking for quotes onlinewhen contacted by bankers life we told them we weren't interestedwe kept getting calls from Kelly in the Muncie, IN office, (765) 289-He showed up at my house a few weeks later uninvited and unannounced and we were unaware and off guardHe knew I was irritated and yet tried to sell me and set up a meeting for the upcoming Friday, again, I told him NO and we went with another companyFrom then on, Kelly called me from his personal cell [redacted] times, I finally was tired of the calling and answered and his exact words was Mrs [redacted] and I responded yes, and because he knew he was wrong, and knew we were not interested, he said bidded me a good day and hung upI called the Muncie office and spoke with Judie, Heather the office manager was suppose to call me back, I have yet to receive a call, I filed a complaint with the IN Dpt of InsuranceThey have yet to respond to the complaint, no call, no apololgy, NOTHINGSh

We were visited by Kurt [redacted] on February 23, 2018, to discuss life insurance for me and my wifeAfter two hours, he had all our infoIn my case, he said that he would not be taking a check since underwriting needed to review but he did take a check from my wife for $and said it would not be cashed until she was acceptedI received a letter of declination dated March 6th on March 10thI called the Crystal Lake office and initially spoke to Rachel to ask about my declinationShe connected me to John, the unit managerI found it upsetting that I would be denied when they had nor even done the blood workWe also discovered they had cashed my wife's check on March 6th.After discussing it further with my wife we determined that we did not want coverage with themI called John back (again going through Rachel) and told him and asked that the check amount be returnedI also said that they should cancel the appointment for the blood draw since we declined their coverageJohn

This company is very unethicalDon't believe me read the other reviewsI was looking at doing business with the Richmond VA local office and was initially very interested and went ahead and filled out the application for a Medicare Supplemental policy and included my bank information to pay for the premiumsThis was a cold call sales tactic and I fell for it hook line and sinkerAfter researching the company I instructed the agent Robert [redacted] , not to proceed and do not submit my applicationWell Rober [redacted] submitted it anyhow and due to my own negligence I have been charged months premiums which was deducted directly from my checking accountI am ashamed of myself for not researching before filling out the application and more for not keeping better tabs on my bank account allowing premiums to be taken out of my account without realizing itI am more appalled with a company that allows such activities from its employees Shame on you Bankers Life you need to keep better tabs on your agent's underhanded activities

I did my own research on this company, Bankers Life, and found that nothing I was told about my policies matches what I am reading or how the policies actually are Somehow my children’s policies are under only my husband’s name when we both had to sign the paperwork The only paperwork I was given is what went to the underwriter I had to contact you in order to receive the policy numbers, but couldn’t be told anything else, not even about my own policy The local office was closed without notifying their clients That explains a lot in itself The company is obviously a fraud I have been paying monthly for the last year and received nothing I trusted the local office and the information they provided, but when I tried to get a copy of the policies I found that they were closed

I asked for a quote for term life insurance from Ed [redacted] , a Banker's Life agent in Maryland on June 20th, When Mr [redacted] and I met to discuss the possibility of buying term life insurance he told me that it would not be an issue if I changed my mind about the policy so long as I did that prior to having the medical tests performed At no time during the meeting did he tell me that if I changed my mind he would need to have a letter sent to me stating that Banker's Life would be "declining coverage." On Friday, June 23rd, I call Ed [redacted] to tell him I had decided to not go forward with purchasing a policy Mr [redacted] told me he would return my deposit, which he has At the same time Mr [redacted] told me that since I had changed my mind about buying the insurance I would receive a letter from Banker's Life telling me that I had been declined coverage ON July 1st, I received the letter from Banker's Life telling "THANK YOU FOR YOUR RECENT APPLICATION FOR INSURANCE

Purchased a Indexed [redacted] Life insurance policy a for death benefit and long time cash value accumulationI've only had it a couple years but everything my agent said has been true and very satisfied with service

Premiums for a Continuing Care Policy have been faithfully paid monthly to Banker's Life and Casualty Company for nearly twenty years, by Katheryne A [redacted] April 2018, Katheryne entered The [redacted] facility, for Continuing Care, at age ninety-oneKatheryne has several diagnosis, Dementia, being oneA claim was filed on behalf of Katheryne, by her three childrenRequested Paperwork was collected, filled out and mailed to BLC.In late June of 2018, Banker's Life and Casualty acknowledged a claim was filed and would review contentNot until August 21, 2018, after much back and forth, did we receive a letter officially from BLC stating our mother had met the criteria of her policy and qualified for benefits. It is a constant battle a never ending request for MORE information from BLC still, and no certainty at all that BLC will indeed honor this claim

It is illegal for a company to come to one's door for the purpose of selling [redacted] insurance The company has sent agents to my door on three separate occasions to try to sell me a [redacted] plan They are obviously working a [redacted] lead list because I am turning in March I have filed a complaint with the Office of the Washington State Insurance Commissioner's office and will follow up with a complaint directly to [redacted] Since the business card of the last agent shows a Revdex.com logo I thought I should file a complaint with you as well

My year old father John W [redacted] has dementiaMy mother who has since passed away took out a policy in with Bankers LifeIn my father needed help with the policy and due to his health getting worse in the need of the policy increased to hrs a day of nursing care and medication administrationI previously filed a complaint due to a controversy of the correct forms that were neededEvery month the head nurse Carolyn [redacted] at the [redacted] Facility that administers his care send to Bankers the required daily information of the daily nursing care and medication administration he receives dailyOnce Bankers Life receives this information which was was received for December on January 11th they should issue a check should be issued within weeks as of January after several phone calls I as his daughter and power of attorney have not received a check and have paid his total care of $out of my pocketThe second issue is his policy premium which my parents ha

Due to cognitive issues, I am writing this complaint with my POA's assistanceOne of the main reasons that I purchased a home health policy in from Bankers Life..Dan (who has gone missing since 2015) promised that the policy could be administered in the comforts of my home by any (to include my daughter/granddaughter) certified/licensed CNA, LPN or RNBesides Dan & myself, there were two others present who can attest to what Dan promised At the time, I was vulnerableThe policy was delivered to Dan who in turn delivered the policy to my homeDan only gave me the 1st seven pages of the policy w/ a (30) day consideration to review & cancel optionMissing from the policy were pages of information that declared who is eligible to provide services to the insuredWhen my health failed as a result of CHF, COPD, diabetes, physical/cognitive issues; that is when I learned that Dan didn't tell the truth about who could help me in my time of illness My family on my be

I've never had such a horrible experience with any business as I did with the Duluth, GA office The agent Constance [redacted] told me blatant lies with how she was handling a claimWhen I spoke with her supervisor he tactless enough to say I got the short end of the stick when it came to the payout of my mother's life insuranceConstance hung up on me in the middle of a phone conversation and refused to return any text or callsI called the office twice a day left a message each time for straight and never received a return callThey even called my sister and told her about private conversations I had with them

I was just leaving a detailed review and the Revdex.com screen switched to a "Request a Quote from Bankers Life"!!! Two days ago, Alicia ***, a Bankers Life insurance agent, showed up at my door, unannounced, without an appointment; my husband and I had never heard of her or her company As I was out of town, my husband took her card and an "appointment" for tomorrow I contacted Ms [redacted] by phone and asked her how she had gotten my personal information (name, age, address) Ms [redacted] stated that as a "preferred vendor," and the "only insurance company allowed to contact persons months out from [redacted] eligibility," the information was provided by [redacted] When pressed further, she stated that the personal information was provided by the government / [redacted] A phone call to [redacted] cleared this up immediately [redacted] does not provide personal information to insurance agencies I do not know where or how she got the info (I've had other mailings but no one showing up at my door), but it was not from [redacted] Revdex.com, I know that you follow a formula in order to rate businesses, but maybe consideration of reviews should also be factored into the equation

My Mother has had a Long Term Care policy with Bankers for 17 years. She became paralyzed by brain cancer and we had to place her in a assisted living. Bankers claims dept was a life saver! They helped me with filing the claim properly and payments started right on time. Top of the line professionals and so glad we protected her life savings with this insurance!!

Recently an agent came to my elder parents home at 7pm on a rainy Monday night to solicit business no inquires had been made to do such, and if so why come to the door randomly concerned that this was a scam or casing of resident I have called the agent Scott [redacted] and office Milford CT, to compliant and stop any further contact find this very poor business practice

Very UnprofessionalI have left messages asking for my Bankers Life Insurance agent, Chris [redacted] ***, to please call me to discuss an issue I have with two of my three policies I have with BankersI left these messages in the general mail box since no one ever answers the phoneOn the third message I even asked if ANYONE would call me since Chris won'tNo one has ever called meSo, then I called the customer service number and asked to speak to a supervisorI don't remember the guys name, but he was very rude and condescending to meI have had these policies for close to years, so they are very inexpensive, otherwise I would cancel all of them and find a company who actually cares about their clientsOne of the policies I HAVE OWNED since my kids were little, and have been paying on all these years, they switched to my daughter being the owner without my consent! I told them just to cancel it then, and was told I didn't have the authority to cancel it because I am not the ownerWell, I WAS the owner till they took it upon themselves to switch it without authorizationMy daughter doesn't want the policy since she has her own, so I guess I will have her call in to cancel itThey just hurt themselves on that oneAnyway, Basically they are a VERY unprofessional group of peopleI am VERY UPSET AND DISSATISFIED with the LACK of customer serviceDon't use BankersThere are a lot of other, more caring, insurance companies out there

Oh wow - it seems I am not the only person fed up with Bankers! My Mom had a heart attack last year May and it is now February and we are still fighting for them to pay her claimsHer doctor has faxed all her test results three times and Bankers keeps sending her letters requesting the testsThey never ever return her calls - her agent has never either after multiple voice messagesThey are quick to take her money which is now in the thousands and yet they are stalling to pay out! They are unethical and the customer service reps tell us different things whenever we callIt is a nightmare and I am still hoping they will step up and pay the claimWhether they do or don’t, if I don’t have any success, my Mom will cancel her policy and will send a letter with her complaintsStay away from Bankers!!!!!

In 2016, I made a request to cancel my insurance policy with Banker's LifeI told my agent at that time to issue the cancellationHe visited me at my home, I signed paperwork and assumed it was taken care of A year and a half later I received a call from a happy Bankers agent saying that he's my new repI told him my policy was cancelled, he said my policy appeared as active, and would look into itI never got a call back From there I didn't hear from Bankers for a while and then suddenly I got a letter regarding my "policy"I have requested stop payments from my bank, called into customer service ###-###-#### several times to request cancellation (sometimes they confirm the policy is not active, other times they say I have a policy but it has no value, and I should not be billed--never a clear answer)To my knowledge I was able to prevent all unauthorized charges, but charges have appeared as different names (exBLL, Bankers, or Colonial) so it is harder to monitor my ac
