Bankers Life, I cannot get in touch with my agent or anyone else at Bankers LifeCustomer Service lines just give the mechanical runaround and then disconnect youThe office number for my agent is always a recording even during business hoursAfter a week of calling and leaving messages every day, I still have not made contactThe first time I tried to contact them was because I needed to make my required minimum distributionI started my efforts in October and was unable to complete the transaction before the end of the year putting me in jeopardy of IRS penalties of $The second time I needed to withdraw funds After months of calling and e-mailing, I was finally told my agent had left the companyNow I am again needing funds for property taxes and cannot make contactWhat is wrong with this company????

I was just leaving a detailed review and the Revdex.com screen switched to a "Request a Quote from Bankers Life"!!! Two days ago, Alicia ***, a Bankers Life insurance agent, showed up at my door, unannounced, without an appointment; my husband and I had never heard of her or her company As I was out of town, my husband took her card and an "appointment" for tomorrow I contacted Ms*** by phone and asked her how she had gotten my personal information (name, age, address) Ms*** stated that as a "preferred vendor," and the "only insurance company allowed to contact persons months out from *** eligibility," the information was provided by *** When pressed further, she stated that the personal information was provided by the government / *** A phone call to *** cleared this up immediately *** does not provide personal information to insurance agencies I do not know where or how she got the info (I've had other mailings but no one showing up at my door), but it was not from *** Revdex.com, I know that you follow a formula in order to rate businesses, but maybe consideration of reviews should also be factored into the equation

We were visited by Kurt *** on February 23, 2018, to discuss life insurance for me and my wifeAfter two hours, he had all our infoIn my case, he said that he would not be taking a check since underwriting needed to review but he did take a check from my wife for $and said it would not be cashed until she was acceptedI received a letter of declination dated March 6th on March 10thI called the Crystal Lake office and initially spoke to Rachel to ask about my declinationShe connected me to John, the unit managerI found it upsetting that I would be denied when they had nor even done the blood workWe also discovered they had cashed my wife's check on March 6th.After discussing it further with my wife we determined that we did not want coverage with themI called John back (again going through Rachel) and told him and asked that the check amount be returnedI also said that they should cancel the appointment for the blood draw since we declined their coverageJohn

I've never had such a horrible experience with any business as I did with the Duluth, GA office The agent Constance *** told me blatant lies with how she was handling a claimWhen I spoke with her supervisor he tactless enough to say I got the short end of the stick when it came to the payout of my mother's life insuranceConstance hung up on me in the middle of a phone conversation and refused to return any text or callsI called the office twice a day left a message each time for straight and never received a return callThey even called my sister and told her about private conversations I had with them

If I could I would not even give them starAfter months of going back and forth with this company I finally called it quits with themNot only did they continue to take money from us after cancelling ALL our policies they also added another policy under my name and started taking money for that policy out of our accountThey are VERY disorganized and SUCK with customer careI am now fighting with them to get ALL our money back but they keep giving us the run aroundHorrible company to work with, DONT DO IT!!!!!

For almost months I have been trying to get Banker's to complete the separation of my policy from my ex-husband, so that I may get reimbursement for my 24/in home nursing careI purchased this insurance policy to help to secure my financial livelihood if I needed home or nursing home care, and Banker's has yet to cut me a check per the policy agreementI have been correctly certified by the company for the payments, but Banker's has been dragging their feet, while I diligently continue for months to keep on them so I can get paidI cannot go into a nursing home due to my prognosis and in home care is my only option at this point, if I would like to live the life I painstakingly planned for in my youthI am under great financial stress as I wait, and wait and WAIT for Banker's to fulfill their part of the agreementI've gotten the run around regarding my policy and have had dozens of different excuses from their call center in Jamacia as to why Banker's has not yet paid my cl

Approximately one year ago, I was visited by an agent as I was nearing the age for obtaining a medicare supplemental insurance policy Six months later I was revisitedSince that time I have had two additional in-person solicitationsI sent a letter to the service center in my area asking to cease the visits and respect my privacy explaining I was no longer interested and had already obtained a supplemental policy Since sending the letter, I have received two additional visits, (one today) unsolicited I now deem this harassment as this company chose to ignore a written request to stop despite promises from the agents who visit to remove me from this company's files

As a new employee of the company they have treated me very well and I respect everybody in the businessIt is not an easy job and they made sure to tell me so when I applied

A car drove down our street today and stopped in front of our house in Corpus Christi on North Padre Island A man and a woman got out of the rear seats and rang our doorbell They were from the S Staples Bankers Life Insurance office They were cold calling/selling Long-Term Care Insurance They were polite but very assertive in their sales pitch, taking about minutes at our front door What is concerning is that they were not knocking on every door, but they specifically were stopping directly at our house, I assume they have a list, as they did have our names and addressWe have never contacted any business for any form of life or long-term care insurance Do they need a city license to solicit? Our personnel information is out there, be careful

I got a call from them saying they saw my resume online and wanted to know if I was interested in working as an insurance agentI am a graphic designerI told the person who answered and she told me I should keep my options openVery disingenuous recruiting practices

I received a call from asking if this was Maureen to which I replied "yes" He then said he was from Bankers Life and could I hear him OK I promptly hung up and blocked the number I'm sure you are aware of the scam going around where you're asked if you can hear them and then when you say yes, you've set yourself up for identity theft Is this really the phone solicitation from Bankers Life?? If so I suggest they re-think their policy of solicitation

I took out a life insurance policy with themin august It was a one time payment of $up front for a $death benefit for lifeI received the policy on August 22ndIt was not what I wantedThe policy was only guarented for years not for lifeI had a thirty day inspection I called the agent *** *** and told him I was canceling itI delivered the policy to bankers headquarters downtown chicage on sept 6th and handed it to a *** *** in person She said my 80k would be refunded in a timely matterOn the front of the policy it stated a full refund would be issued within twenty days of my cancellation and return of policy to home officeIt has now been forty days and no refundI called the home office sept 5th and they said they knew nothing of me returning it and would look into it I asked to talk to the woman who signed for the policy and was told she doesn't existI called the agent *** *** and have not heard back from him His
