McCarthy, Burgess & Wolff ("MBW") is not currently collecting on any accounts alleged to be owed by [redacted].  [redacted] Company a/k/a [redacted] placed an account with MBW for collections on August 9, 2016.  That account was closed in MBW's office on August 22,...

2016.  No collection activity has been conducted with regards to that account since that time.  MBW has not been able to locate any other accounts in its system under [redacted]'s name, address, or phone number.  It is MBW's position that it has not engaged in any wrongdoing as it relates to [redacted], has previously addressed [redacted]'s concerns in its response to [redacted]'s complaint filed with the CFPB, complaint number 160820-000295.  MBW considers this matter resolved.Thank you,Randi [redacted]In House Counsel

Review: I took a Limo Cab from McDounaugh St to [redacted] on March 27th at around 3am. While paying for my cab, I dropped my wallet in the cab. When I called that morning to ask about it, Limo told me that I would have to call Monday 3/2 to check. I called on Monday 3/2 and was told they had no way of knowing what driver it was and they had no lost and found. I have called several times and have been given various stories and told I would have to speak to the owner (who is never there) and they will not take my information to check. Not only am I out the money that I had in my wallet ($160), I am out my wallet and will now have to replace my drivers license. This is terrible customer service to continue to get the run around. Even just returning my wallet without the money would have been a much more satisfactory experience.Desired Settlement: I would like to have someone speak to my driver or at least apologize for the run around. This has been very stressful and costly for my family.

We received an email regarding a complaint submitted on 3/11/15 with the assigned 10 of 10527646.The customer, [redacted], used our cab service 2/27/15 around 2:30 a.m. - 3:00 a.m. An employee,[redacted], talked to [redacted] on 3/2/15 in the a.m. According to [redacted], [redacted] said he was at a bubby'sparty until bar close when he called Limo Cab for a ride home. [redacted] said he was wearing a differentflannel than he normally does and it has a hole in the pocket, which is how he thinks he lost it. [redacted]looked in our lost and found for the wallet, there was no wallet. [redacted] told [redacted] that he would relay themessage to his boss, [redacted], and would call back if there is anything found. [redacted] called back acouple days later, talked to [redacted] again, [redacted] told him the wallet still has not shown up. [redacted] called athird time and talked to [redacted], she apologized to [redacted] and let him know that there was nowallet turned in and nothing was found.On 3/2/15, [redacted] and [redacted] found out who the driver was and talked to him regarding the issue. Theywere told there was no wallet found that he seen. The cab was thoroughly checked for the wallet.It is unclear if [redacted] lost his wallet in the cab or outside of the cab. We feel we did everything we could tofind [redacted]'s wallet and do greatly apologize for his troubles.Thank you
