Over the past two years upgrade has mail pre approval notices for loansThey advertise that checking your rate doesn't affect your credit scoreAfter two years of being solicited I finally calledI was told about the services and was assured that only a soft credit pull would be doneThe web advertises that decisions are made in minutesThis was a lieWeeks went by and first they asked for pay stubsI sent the two most recent as asked and then they asked for and tax returnsI sent those alsoWithout my consent they did a hard pullThis is predatory lending/marketing and needs to be addressesThe process was not transparent and things were done without consent I never authorized a hard credit pullI deal with lending club and other lenders so I understand the process but have never seen anything ie this
