Quick efficient diagnosis of A/C problem. Looked beyond the immediate problem and discovered a condensate overflow switch that was bad additionally, and could have cause major problems in the future. Great explanation of the problem. Jim's a good instructor! Excellent repair. Very pleasant to deal with. Highly recommended.

On time, professional installation. All work started and completed as promised. Neat and clean work.

Mason Mechanical's HVAC installation on our home was first rate from start to finish. The analysis performed, information provided, installation itself and follow-up were all done smoothly and professionally. I have no complaints.

Worst experience I have ever had. The salesman came and took measurements a few days before the install then when it came time for the install the attic unit was to big and needed to be replaced with a smaller unit (at no reduction in price), so one more day with no AC. The installers did not cover up anything under the attic access and managed to cover my wife's work clothing with drywall dust. They left the garbage from their lunches in our closet and left garbage from the install (to include sharp metal pieces) laying all over my front yard and driveway. The original salesman came back to do a QC inspection and after I told him all the problems we had, he actually had the nerve to ask me to sign a "good job" certificate for the installers so they could get a bonus. Two hours after the QC inspection was completed the unit stopped working. After waiting an hour or so for the on call tech to call back he called and asked me to climb up in the attic and tell him what it looked like. Turns out the QC inspector failed to notice the automatic cut off switch was placed incorrectly and that was what turned the system off. It took several follow up visits by Techs to fix the issue. Several months later the ceiling in my laundry room collapsed from water dripping from the unit. Several more visits later I was told the issue was resolved. The same thing happened two more times. After the last time the tech who showed up told me there was a $20 plastic piece that was never installed that could have prevented the problem in the first place. Not only would I not recommend this business to someone I know I would have no problem telling someone I just overheard talking about replacing an AC system why they should not use them.

We found Mason Mechanical on the NATE certification site, and along with 3 other HVAC companies had them give us a workup and estimate. From initial contact with their office through the follow-up post install visit everyone we have had contact with has been unfailingly personable and professional -- great customer service all the way.

We had Mason replace 2 of our existing heat pumps with 2 new Trane units. Joe C. was our consultant, and he listened to our needs/concerns, was detailed in his work-up and offered the best re-design and sized units to meet our needs and fix some problem areas we had in the home. He was conscientious, knowledgeable, confident in his approach and didn't push add-ons. The price was also competitive. We felt very comfortable going forward with Joe.

We were accommodated very quickly, with timeframes given and always had a phone call to keep us posted as to arrival times. Ron and Richard were our installers. They also were very polite, personable and knowledgeable, keeping us posted as to what was going on with explanations along the way. Joe came by twice during the install to make sure we were all communicating and the job was proceeding as planned, and to answer any questions along the way. He was a pleasure to work with. Our first unit was a difficult install, which made for a long day. But Ron and Richard left the job site cleaner than when they arrived. They were also very conscientious about treating our home with care, wearing booties and covering the floors and furniture with drop cloths. The second day was easier and went just as well as the first. Roberto stopped by to help a bit and was equally professional.

Joe came by for a follow-up visit to wrap up the install -- he took care of all documentation regarding warranty registration and rebate/credits. Jim E. was the service technician who did our follow-up fine tuning visit to be sure we were operating as efficiently as possible. Also a great guy. Pretty impressive service from Mason Mechanical all the way around. Shockingly good experience. Will definitely use them going forward, and can absolutely refer them with confidence.

Just want to say Chad and James did a great job for me!

Jim E. came out and did a diagnostic check up. He was knowledgeable and personable. We appreciated his suggestions for improving our units' performance. He also suggested a service plan and explained what it could do for us but did not push us to make a commitment that day. He just left the information and advised us we could start at any time. He was professional and made a positive impression. I'm sure he is an asset for your company.

[redacted] came on time on 8 June to do a 33 point checkup on my Trane HVAC system. Since Mason Mechanical completely replaced my old failed system in July 2013, I have had them come to do the annual pre-summer checkups. [redacted] did it in 2014 and I requested him again this June. [redacted] did an excellent job both years, and I intend to request him again next year! BTW, Mason Mechanical did a fantastic job replacing my old HVAC system in 2013, and I tell everyone who needs HVAC service or replacement to contact Mason Mechanical first. They are honest, professional, and always informative. Best in the valley!

We chose Mason Mechanical for installation of a new Trane Comfort System because of the positive reviews, even though it was more expensive. Unfortunately, it was not the pleasant experience we had anticipated. On the day for installation we were told a part had come in damaged and the install had to be delayed. I had made special arrangements at work so I could be home for the install, and the rescheduling meant I would not be present for the complete process. On the actual install day it turned out another part was missing and a technician had to go pick that up, making the install an 11 hour day. Then we were told that the AC was working, but a part was still missing for the heat and it would have to be ordered. During the cleanup process we found our wood floor was damaged in several places and will need to be repaired.

It has been 12 days since the original scheduled installation and the system is not yet complete. We are hoping that the performance and benefits of the Trane Comfort System will justify the additional costs of using Mason Mechanical.

Today, 3/8/2016, I had my semi annual HVAC check done by Jim E.

He also installed a new surge protector for the compressor unit (old one recalled).

Jim was professional and likable. He performed the work in a timely manner.

We had a furnace check up by service technician named [redacted] with Mason Mechanical. We were very satisfied with this technician. We felt he was very
conscientious and thorough with his work and was willing to handle any requests
that we had. Even though it was late in the afternoon, he stayed to finish the job. We highly recommend [redacted].

Dion from Mason Mechanical came out to repair our HVAC. He was a very meticulous person and explained the reasons for failure and the cost to rectify. He is very customer orientated and does NOT come out and say "you need a new furnace or your A/C is shot". He is very cost conscious and does his best for the customer. To assist him he has a wealth of experience and excellent diagnostic skills. He would make a good teacher for others in this trade. An excellent job and would recommend to any one else.

Mason Mechanical, represented by Mike C and Chad, were on time and did an excellent job of correcting the issues with my air conditioning systems in the areas of reducing the lost duct leakage by 94% and removing blocking filters installed by the previous owner of the apartment, which I just purchased. By going to them direct, I saved $700 versus having the effort sub to them by another contractor.

This is the best and only company you ever want to use for your a/c or heating issues. They have been nothing but professional.....outstanding, honest, ethical service. Highly recommend.

Mason Mechanical installed three new air conditioners and furnaces at my home. From the time I first called I received excellent service. I have worked with a contractors and this was one of the best experiences I have ever had. My experience started with Joe C[redacted] their comfort consultant who gave me the exact time he would be at my home, unlike others who said they would be their in some four hour time frame. He was right on time and very pleasant and honest. The estimate I received was detailed and competitive. I have been a VP of sales at a number of companies before I retired and would love to have hired him because he was so professional. My systems were installed by Shane and Johnny. They did an excellent job. They even helped save my old units which I donated to others who couldn't afford new units. They told me they would install the units in two days and it was completed on time. To do it they ended up working longer than anticipated. They put in overtime to make sure the installation was done on time even though it was really hot. When they were done they did an excellent job of cleaning up. They were also very nice. I want to also point out that their office staff is also professional and great to work with. I am sorry this is a long review, but this was an exception experience I want to let them know how much I appreciate it.

Challen H[redacted] came to my home recently for the purpose of providing an estimate on the replacement of my air conditioning unit. After conducting a very through home evaluation he took the necessary time to fully educate me not only on the AC unit itself, but the how and why different aspects within the home can impact how a system works, as well as all the pros and cons. He answered all of my endless questions, without making me feel rushed or like I was intruding on his time. It was very apparent that his only concern was making sure that I was well informed, and in language that I could understand. I felt extremely confident in my decision not only to make this large purchase but that Mason Mechanical was the right company to do the job.
Chad & Ron were the service professionals that performed the installation of my new unit. They were just as amazing as Challen! They were very friendly, knowledgeable, and patient. They did such an incredible job and took such care not to damage or make a mess anywhere inside or outside of my home. They carried the same genuine smiles on their faces from the moment they arrived until the moment they left. I am so impressed with all three of these gentlemen and have no hesitations in screaming their praises from the rooftops!!! Mason Mechanical was definitely the right choice!
