My wife and I were in the market for a new home in the Milwaukee, WI area. Since my wife is in the military, we qualified for a VA loan which my institution does not offer. I reached out to a mortgage broker I knew and was disappointed with the rate offered compared to where market rates were. I frequently visit bankrate.com to check current rates and found McGlone Mortgage in Appleton, WI listed as offering one of the lowest VA rates on the site. I wasn’t nearly as concerned with staying local as I was with getting the best rate possible. Naturally though, I was skeptical of the low rates from a lender I was not familiar with.
After reading a handful of the hundreds of reviews on Revdex.com, I emailed [redacted] at McGlone. [redacted] explained to me how his process worked and how our loan would progress. From day one the experience was nothing but positive. [redacted] and his underwriter [redacted] stayed in constant contact with us and guided us through each step of the process. We were able to lock our interest rate very quickly. As we came close to closing, interest rates had fallen significantly and [redacted] was able to adjust our rate down by a significant margin. This meant monthly savings of over $100, all interest. There was no fee for this adjustment!
At the closing there were no “last second surprises” for instance; a fee that had not been disclosed, a rate that didn’t match what we were told, etc. Everything was delivered as promised. Throughout the process I spoke with Jeff several times and he understood there can be skepticism due to the bad wrap the mortgage industry has received over the past 5+ years. But he promised to deliver the best service possible and earn my trust. He absolutely has.

The Loan Process was so easy and save lot time in doing all the process in online.

Also go a very competitive rates on the interest rates when I locked. My Loan Originator [redacted] and My loan processor [redacted] did an awesome work on processing my loan.

Finally I am happy that I got my loan refinanced with good rate and would like to recommend to my friends and family without any hesitation based on the process they did.

This company is honest, reliable, and processed my refinance quickly. They answered every call and responded to every email. Working with McGlone I received a lower rate than the bigger company's would offer...

I've used many mortgage companies over the years and this was by far the most streamlined positive experience we've encountered. I have to admit at first I was a bit skeptical when Jim told me there would be no fees. I even expected for there to be 'hidden' fees that were not disclosed. I just refinanced for the third time with McGlone. Each of these times, my loan advisor, [redacted], and his team have clearly looked out for my best interests, have been a pleasure to work with, and have made the process as easy as possible. Have used Brian twice now. Once for a refinance and once for a new home loan. He and his people are professional and courteous. Not being in the same state was no problem. They are readily available for questions either by phone or email. I will not hesitate to use them again or recommend them.

McGlone is great. This is the third house that I have financed through them. They provided the best rate and great service. They beat everyone by over a 1/3 of a percent. Even my attorney was impressed with the rate. She said that no one else was closing with that type of rate lately.
