Initial Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2014/11/18) */
MBB has tried numerous times to contact the consumer with no response and a letter was sent in January 2014. The account has been reported on the consumers credit as a dispute. If the consumer can provide a police report or some document...

showing that the account for 230.80 from [redacted] Emergency on 09/06/2012. The consumers insurance paid 11.20 and an insurance adjustment of 512.20 applied. We will request that the account be deleted from the consumer's credit file. The balance is still due.
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 7, 2014/11/18) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
Even though insurance has covered the entire balance, I am willing to pay the 230.80 in good fair that the account will be removed from my 3 credit files. I do not understand what you mean by a police report or document showing - and then the sentence cuts off.
Thanks.

Medical Business Bureau has attempted to contact the consumer and was informed in 2012 that he could not afford to pay the bill. The account is for an emergency room physician bill at North Austin Medical Center October 23, 2010. We have...

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
Again, I am questioning the validity of the bill as it was incorrectly processed. At the time I had valid insurance which was given to the hospital. The hospitals internal controls for billing failed to process through my insurance which would have covered the expense. As such, I should not be liable for this bill. Additionaly, the collection agency should not be permitted to post erroneous charge to someone's credit report. I officially request this be removed from my report as it is incorrect.
Final Business Response /* (4000, 9, 2015/03/24) */
[redacted] billed [redacted] insurance on November 2, 2010, January 4, 2011, & again on February 16, 2011. Each time thee claim was denied stating that the patient had no coverage. The consumer will need to get with his insurance company to appeal.

The account is now paid in full and we have requested that the account be deleted from the consumer's credit file.If the account was paid prior to us receiving the account the consumer will need to email us proof of that payment and we will refund him any monies that are due as a result of an overpayment. The proof of payment may be sent to [redacted]

Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 7, 2014/04/28) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
After making the payment of $65.65 in July of 2013, I only became aware that there was an outstanding balance when I was notified by my credit monitoring service of this balance. MBB despite there statements to the contrary never informed me as to what the balance outstanding was from. I will contact MBB to pay the balance.

We spoke with the consumer July 14, 2015 and informed her that we need something from her showing that the account is charity. She was going to contact the physician. We have not heard back from her and the physician has not cancelled the...

account.
We need proof of charity.
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 7, 2015/09/29) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
The person, I believe her name was Peach, informed me this was written off as charity care and they would remove this from my file and report it to Trans Union. Nobody informed me I needed to show proof, they already had proof from what I was told. Then to check my credit again on 8/28/15 and it should be removed. It's still showing as delinquent.

Both accounts are now closed.

We have cancelled the account and requested that it be removedfrom the consumer's credit file.

The consumer has contacted our office and been informed that we have received proof of the payment
and will be posting the payment today. We will request that the account be removed from the consumer's credit file.

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2014/05/15) */
Medical Business Bureau does not delete accounts from the consumer's credit just because they pay it. We are not allowed to do this according to our contract with the credit bureaus. We will request that these accounts be deleted as a...

courtesy.

Thank you for requesting their removal. If this is something that MBB doesn't do, it should make sure that this is something their employees aren't offering. I was repeatedly told that they would be deleted

[redacted] at Medical Business Bureau explicitly told me on August 7 that the check was mailed to me on August 6, 2015. I do not appreciate the dishonesty of this business, the time I wasted dealing with blatant lies, or the undue stress of the entire situation. This was handled very poorly on their part. I look forward to actually receiving my refund and hope this isn't just another false promise. Thank you, Revdex.com!

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2014/10/07) */
The account for the consumer is for [redacted] Associates and is the Anesthesiologist bill for services at St [redacted] Hospital on March 25, 2014.
The original amount of the bill was 1,840.00 [redacted] paid 546.21 and a...

discount of 1,233.10 was given. The balance of 60.69 is the patient's responsibility. He may contact our office at XXX-XXX-XXXX to pay the balance.
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 7, 2014/10/07) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
The balance was paid off. I already talked to the original creditor and they confirmed. This was sent to collections by accident. Please contact them and they will confirm. You obviously did not contact them and look into this, there was a mistake, and it was not on my part, so please look into further and fix the issue. The original creditor should have contacted you already.
Final Consumer Response /* (3000, 9, 2014/10/07) */
I have documentation showing that this collection should have never occurred. I really wish company would have at least taken the time to ask the original creditor if there was a mistake. But again you cannot even reach them on the phone so why should one expect for them to do any other work either. Instead they just reiterate the information you have instead of even trying to help.
Final Business Response /* (4000, 15, 2014/10/09) */
The client called in and spoke with [redacted] to cancel the account this happened after we replied to this inquiry. The account has been cancelled and we have requested that the account be removed from your credit file.
