I want to complain about [redacted] the owner of AAA Zaid concrete [redacted] Last year I hire this company to do my driveway he did very poorly I phone him to come and see he shouting at me over the phone he come next day to my driveway [redacted] To have a businesses you need to fix your work if you did not do right. I have a holes in my driveway going toward garage, he said to me that because in winter salt fell of the tire and make a marks on driveway so is that mean before I enter on my driveway
I need to wash my car in winter never heard anything like that.

don't go with this company [redacted]

If she brings it into our location we will take a look at it and if it is the wrong muffler, we will absolutely replace it at no charge.

Regarding the above complaint. I am the owner my name is [redacted]. I have never met or had a conversation with Mr. [redacted]. Even if I had met Mr. [redacted] I would have never tell a customer to sue me to resolve a dispute. I spoke to our store manager and inquired about this situation. The manager said the noise...

Mr.[redacted] is talking about is coming from his transmission not the rotors. When he brought the vehicle back to be rechecked six months had passed. The rotors were now out of warranty. If Mr. [redacted] thought there was a problem with the rotors why did he wait six months to bring back his vehicle to be rechecked. In addition thousands of miles were placed on the car since our service was performed. The manage went out of his way to assist and try and resolve the issue. The manager offered to install new rotors if that was what Mr. [redacted] wanted. Mr. [redacted] would just be responsible for the cost of the rotors, we would install them free from any labor charge. Obviously Mr. [redacted] is not happy with our offer, however I believe we have offered him a more than fair offer if he wanted his rotors replaced.

Hello, please send my complaint to Meineke.  I expect them to honor their warranty . Thank you.
Please go ahead and send this to Meineke. They should honor the defective part warranty. Thank you.
Please report my complaint to Meineke.  They should honor warranty and should have at...

end of August. Thank you.Z

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

Their response lacks any veracity.
We lost our house to Super Storm Sandy in October 2012. We have 5 kids and were paying rent without any government support in addition to paying the mortgage on the house we lost. We contracted with ECD because they promised us we would be in the house within 6 weeks after delivery. 6 weeks turned to 8 weeks, to 10 weeks, to 12 weeks and finally they let us move in with the understanding that the punch list still needed to be done. At no time, did ECD ever tell us that we could not move in without a CO. I am 100% confident ECD cannot produce anything about the CO as this is all fabricated by them. This is a common tactic they use to deflect talking about the real issues. We've seen this from them for the past year.
They were given a punch list on April ** 2014 which completely contradicts there statement that they did not hear from us until July 2014. We followed up on the punch list with phone calls and emails and we were told we had to wait while they did other work. They made many appointments with us between April 2014 and September 2014 for inspections, to finish original work from the contract that was not done, punch list items etc...but most of the time they just never showed up without any notification. Finally in late September 2014 we had a meeting for the punch list. This meeting was recorded by us, with their permission, because they have a history of making promises that they never keep. In that punch list meeting, which occurred 5 months after the punch list was delivered, they told us in no uncertain terms that they will not address ANY ITEMS on our punch list until we agreed that they did not have to repair the damage they did to our floors. They admit they caused this damage on the recording and they have not refuted this in their repsonse. For them to say they have never refused to do work, when I have a recording of the [redacted], steadfastly and clearly telling us he will not do any work on our house until we agree that they do not have to repair the floors they damaged, contradicts their response to our complaint that they never refused to do the work. They just make it up as they go along in spite of tangible evidence looking them in the face.
They say all they require is a signed punch list. We gave them a signed punch list in April 2014. We met in September 2014 to discuss the list. They refused to do the work until we agreed that they did not have to repair the floors they damaged. This completely contradicts there statement that all they need from us is a signed punch list, they have had it for 7 months now.
Now in their response to our complaint they bring up money. The first thing they mention is the money is past due. This is a false statement. No money is past due. We do owe them the money ONCE THE WORK IS FINISHED. But the entire basis of our complaint is the work is not finished.  As far as money, we contracted with them for many additions that they charged us for. We sent them many emails that they owe us over a thousand dollars in credits for items that were not delivered but were in the contract. They have never responded to us for this updated pricing reflecting the credits they owe us.
They mention we are hostile and that we changed the locks on our doors. I am not sure that we have to justify why we changed the locks on OUR HOUSE, but, since it has been brought up, we changed the locks because we heard the [redacted]s son was arrested for assaulting a co-worker with a hammer while working in our community. With 5 kids, it is our responsibility to keep them safe.
We have been anything but hostile. The [redacted] refuses to do our punch list until we agree they do not have to repair the damage they did to our floors. ECD filed a lien with an affidavit from the [redacted] that is completely false. We have had issues with our heating system, all our toilets have some malady, we have windows that do not open, there are cracks all over the walls and ceiling throughout the house and now winter is approaching and we just expect the worst because that's what we've gotten so far.
So no, my complaint has not been resolved.

Meineke installed valve cover gaskets that were dry-rotted, subsequently instigating an engine fire and other damages that Meineke will not repairI had my 1999 Silver Lexus GS400 serviced at Meineke Car Care Center's Raleigh, NC store #374 on November 8, 2011 to replace the valve cover gaskets and brake pads/rotors. After servicing and driving the car, I observed significant oil leakage from car, so much that it required refilling with multiple quarts of oil to prevent the engine from running dry. I returned to Meineke a few days later to diagnose the issue. In the process of returning the car to Meineke, the vehicle's engine caught fire from the leaking oil, en route to the shop. After the fire was extinguished by the Raleigh Police Department, the car was towed to Meineke and they subsequently determined the oil leak was due to the dry-rotted valve cover gaskets they had installed a few days earlier. They (specifically[redacted] store asst. manager at the time) replaced the bad valve cover gaskets with new ones and extended a service discount of $163.24 to compensate for the mistake. Meineke said there was no functional damage to the car, otherwise. I specifically asked about damage to the car's wiring harness, given all the highly vulnerable plastic, but the shop assured me it was fine. Less than 6 months later, the car became disabled due to a power steering fluid leak. [redacted] had bought into the Meineke franchise and relocated to the Milbrook Rd location (store #1312), so I had the car checked at the new location. It turns out the power steering hose was leaking due to a hole created by the previous fire. The hose was fixed at no charge and a free oil change was provided for the inconvenience. There was also a noticeable high pitched noise that appeared shortly after the car fire that was always attributed to an "electrical issue of some nature" by Meineke/[redacted], though they could never say what it was due to lack of electrical expertise. I asked about the condition of the wiring harness related to this noise on multiple locations since the engine fire, but it was always attributed to some other "electrical issue." In April of 2014, I started noticing the car stalling regularly and took it to a non-Meineke shop for repair. It was determined the issue was related to a shorted upstream oxygen sensor. Upon replacing the oxygen sensors, the new shop confirmed the old oxygen sensors were burnt in a fire along with the car's wiring harness. I returned to discuss the issue with [redacted] at the Milbrook store.[redacted] angered, said emphatically they resolved the problem when the fire occurred via the service discount and that he would under no terms compensate me further for the prior negligence that led to the fire and resulting damages-he handed me Meineke's corporate phone number for filing a complaint and requested I never return for business at his store. I left a message with Meineke corporate in regards to the matter, but have yet to receive a return call. Desired SettlementI am seeking Meineke's coverage for replacement of the wiring harness and oxygen sensors, both of which were damaged as a result of Meineke's negligence leading to an engine fire and related damage. Alternatively, Meineke can pay me the amount necessary to get the required work done at another shop.Business Response Unfortunately this customer is complaining to the wrong shop. The "fire" he is referring to did not happen at this shop or by the hands of any of our employees. We have referred him back to the shop where he had this work done.Note: His wiring harness was indeed checked here and found to be fine for over 2 years. He made a very long road trip with a battery light on and caused his alternator to burn up and that negligence very well could have caused his wiring harness and oxygen sensor issues. He did not have a problem for 2 1/2 years until his road trip a few months ago. Our shop is not in any way responsible for any repairs and will not cover any work he has had done or wants done.Consumer Response Meineke store #1312 (Milbrook Road, Raleigh NC) is managed by [redacted] who used to work at Meineke store #374 (Western Blvd, Raleigh NC) and was responsible for overseeing the work done on my car. After the car fire due to Meineke's negligence, [redacted] tried to compensate me for the mistake on subsequent repairs, totaling a discount of $163.24. [redacted] further confirmed there was no damage to the wiring harness of the vehicle as a result of the fire. Subsequent work to the vehicle revealed other plastic/rubber damage to the vehicle, like a hole in the power steering hose that was observed and repaired free-of-charge after incident by [redacted] at his new location at store #1312 (Milbrook Road, Raleigh NC). The fire is documented in detail by the Raleigh Fire Department. An old battery did not (and likely could not) cause a car fire and subsequent damage seen to the car's wiring harness, hoses, oxygen sensors, etcthis is a blatant lie constructed by Meineke to deflect responsibly and negligence. As confirmed in discussion with Meineke corporate affairs out of [redacted], both Meineke locations (store #1312 on Milbrook and store #374 on Western Blvd) are owned by the same person, Mr. [redacted]. Thus, regardless of which store the fire occurred, [redacted] (owner of both Meineke's) should be held responsible for his shop's negligence and subsequent damages to my vehicle.

On Friday October 3 2014 I noticed an large amount of leaking from my vehicle which was visible, on the parking lot floor. I then proceeded to check my oil and which it was below the last notch on the dip stick. I was currently at work and didn't believe I would make it home with home with the oil level that low, therefor I went to the nearest service station which was [redacted] less then a mile a way from where I was located. Upon there research it was discovered ,what is to be know as the oil drain plug was loose and the tool to remove the plug was still attached to the part. I was given the tool that was left on the oil drain plug and I was charged 19.95 to replenish the oil. I then went to back to Meineke and spoke with the manager [redacted] ,about the recent discovery. He begin to interject while I was talking and insisted it couldn't be so in a rude and condescending manor. I then showed him the tool that was left on the drain plug, he then demanded in a loud tone that I give him the tool. I informed him it will be held for future purposes and he stated that is not a tool to remove a drain plug. I then requested the corporate information and contacted them, upon leaving the store all these events occurred on oct 3 2014. On oct 6 I received a voice mail from meineke stating that the complaint is in favor of the store with out even speaking to me , they also stated that my last service was may( didn't give an exact date). However my last service was august 8/22/14 and there sticker is still on my car. I would like to reimbursed for my last oil change service and the service fee from [redacted]. My car now makes a jerking motion when starting the car , gives a burning smell when running and a ticking noise . I would like to have my engine serviced on the expense of the meineke store, in which I dint have these complications prior to this incidentProduct_Or_Service: Oil ChangeDesired Settlement I would like to reimbursed for my last oil change service and the service fee from [redacted].I would like to have my engine serviced on the expense of the meineke store, in which I dint have these complications prior to this incident

Review: I took my truck in for service January 25th, 2016. Today is March 9, 2016. I still do not have my truck. The truck wouldn't shift from low 4-wheel drive back to high 4-wheel drive or 2-wheel drive. I asked could they fix it and was told to leave it and it would be taken care of. I also asked them to check the front brakes. The truck stayed in the parking lot the first week. I called to see what was happening with the repair and was told it was on the rack and being checked. I drove by and the truck was still in the lot. February 5th, I was called and told they put on a new caliper and a hose to fix the breaks. They got it to change from 4-wheel drive back to 2 and back, but they did something and it wouldn't change to drive or reverse. A piece came loose from the transmission after the repair. They needed to order a part. Cost would be $602. Week 3 the truck was not moved. I contacted them every couple of days and was told they were waiting on the part. I then contacted Meineke Corporate Office. No response. Week 4 the truck did not move. I told them if they couldn't fix the truck that I would have it towed home or to the dealership to have it fixed. No, they said they could fix it. Contacted Meineke Corporate again. After the 3rd email to corporate, I was called & told the part was due to come in February 25th. All the while the truck is sitting at the back of the lot. I called again on March 1 to see if the part came in & if my truck was fixed. They said the part came, transmission was fixed and they ordered a master cylinder. I was not notified and did not authorize this. March 3rd, I went back to the shop. Now I was told there is a bad bearing in the wheel causing the sensor to make the ABS light to come on. I went back today to pay the $602 and get my truck. I was told the bill was over $800 now and still needs front wheel bearings and it won't switch to low 4-wheel drive. I told him I wanted my truck. So he said he would take the new master cylinder off and put the old one back on the truck, and call when it is done so I can get the truck for the original quoted $600 +. I am a Vietnam Veteran with health issues due to Agent Orange exposure. I have many doctor appointments at the [redacted] and them having my truck 7 weeks now with it still not fixed has been a huge inconvenience. Every doctor appointment I have to take my wife to work and pick her up, which adds 40 miles to her vehicle those days instead of 20. It is wear & tear on her car, additional gas and a big headache. It makes it worse because the owner has called himself my friend. He and his wife were not truthful with me about being able to fix my truck, not truthful about saying they were working on it when they weren't and took advantage of me by ordering parts and doing things I didn't authorize and expecting me to pay I don't know how much money for problems that didn't exist when I drove the truck in there. I want my truck back. I really don't think I owe them anything since it has more problems now than when I took the truck to them. I will pay them $600 + and don't have a clue as to what else they may have messed up on my truck and how much money I will have to pay somebody else to make the repairs because he says it is not driveable. I think this has one big scam on me either because of our so-called friendship or else he thinks I'm stupid enough to let him do this to me.Desired Settlement: I want my truck back. I really don't think I owe them anything since it has more problems now than when I took the truck to them and this is the 7th week I have not had my vehicle. I don't want to have to pay for any additional repairs needed due to whatever they have broken on my truck. I think it will be sabotaged now - extremely worried.

Response:

Mr. [redacted] dropped off his truck on the 25th of January at Meineke Car Care. It was brought in with front brakes locked up and 4wd locked in low gear, could not drive vehicle due to prior brake and 4wd problems. Customer wanted us to get vehicle out of 4wd and fix brake problem, after these problems were addressed, vehicle then could be driven. We had no knowledge of abs module being a concern. On test drive, abs module was prematurely engaging abs and loosing brake pedal, vehicle needs both front wheel sensors or wheel bearing to correct the problem. Customer declined work. customer ok'd work for the abs fuse to be removed so abs module will not cut on & vehicle can be driven but the abs light has been disengaged, vehicle does not have anti-brakes. Upon Mr. [redacted] notification, we pulled the fuse on the abs module so vehicle could be driven. There was a issue with the transmission, we pulled the pan and found a pan broken that allows the transmission to shift into gear, part was on back order-- received part after 3 weeks, installed part at NO CHARGE. We had noticed also that he needed a master cylinder so we called to make him aware of it so it made the final charge over 800.00. When I called him to let him know that the truck was ready, he told me that he did not approve of the master cylinder so we proceeded to take off the new master cylinder and put old one back on, the total was 660.00. He comes into say that he only had about 500.00, that he had to pay a bill so if could take the truck he would pay us later. We told him that when he had the full amount he could pick up the truck. About 3 days later he came in and said that he had 600.00. We went ahead and dropped the price to make it 600.00.

Response:

I have reviewed the response offer made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

I drove the truck onto the Meineke Car Care lot. I told him to flush the brake line and let me know why the truck would not switch from 4-wheel drive into 2-wheel drive. He test drove the truck - the brakes were not locked, there was no problem with the master cylinder, the ABS light was not on and the transmission did not have any other problems than switching from 4-wheel drive and back into 2-wheel drive. After the truck was fixed to go back into 2-wheel drive, he said his helper broke a piece in the transmission (they created the problem). I was told the truck would not go into drive or reverse - that is when they had to order the part that was on back order. They created all the other problems with the truck. And if the part was on back order for 3 weeks, why did they have it 7 weeks????? And they test drove it again. Brakes were not locked - how would I have driven it to the shop with locked brakes? After I paid $600+ (the quoted price) to get my truck back, I was told (by his wife that runs the front of the shop) that it would take another $800 to fix the truck. As for disengaging the ABS sensor, now the speedometer and other gauges on the dash do not work. And as far as not charging labor to fix the transmission issues, I have a paid in full bill that shows $90 labor charges to get transmission out of 4-wheel drive and $180 labor to install pads, rotors, caliper & hose on the passenger side of the truck. I can send a copy of it the receipt, if you need to see it to show he is not being truthful. I am not pleased with his place of business or Meineke. He said it will do no good to complain because he is untouchable. I want my $600 back and want them to pay to get it fixed elsewhere.

3/3/15 Original service was performed on [redacted] car.3/4/15 [redacted] returned with a no heat concern, upon checking it wasdetermined that air was trapped in the cooling system, we would need togo through a proceedure to remove air. [redacted] was running short of timeand could not wait to have service performed, so an appointment was setfor 3/6/15. The day of the appointment [redacted] called and canceled theappointment, and was to call and reschedule another time.On 3/11/15 no call to reschedule, so the ticket was closed, it was assumedthat the system cleared the air naturally.12/9/15 [redacted] returned with the same no heat problem, so thevehicle was pulled into shop and the air that was trapped in the system wasremoved. After doing so the vehicle was heating fine.A bulletin of this problem is included.12/10/15 the next day [redacted] returned with another issue, When puttinginto drive the trans feels like it doesnt to engage right away.We drove the car with [redacted] and the car drove fine no problems at thattime. We then checked under the hood and trans fluid level was ok but itwas a little dark and had a burndt smell. Customer left.Returned a half hour later the check engine light had came on.1Dec 18 15 02:03pWe then ran a free engine code scan, we found an evap code PO 455, andtrans codes P0700 TCM, P0717 Input /Turbin speed.Of these codes it was determined to be a problem with the transmissionand customer was advised to consult a transmission shop, capable of thistype of repair.Documentation of all this is included.[redacted] did return a third time this same day 12/10/15 in theafternoon, she was very unhappy, and was blaming our shop of cuttingwires and taping them back together.[redacted] was told we did not do either. It is our position that we did not and would not damage a customer car andnot own up to it. The heating problem was eventually corrected when wewere notified that she was still having troubles, and to the best of ourknowledge in good working order. The original time table was of [redacted]'s choice, the consecutive visits on thesame day were unfortunate, but not caused by our shop.

Review: On Jan 2, 2014, I used meineke's towing service through their oil change program. Not only did the phone attendant not know any information about me, but they did not even know the address of meineke. Furthermore, they told the towing company to tow my vehicle to the wrong address (to another business on 39th avenue that was not even Meineke. I did not sign a form to approve of the repair. I did say something verbally, but I did not see the repair nor okay the repair with my signature. I found a better deal for the strut repair at another business, and I had my car towed and fixed there. I was charged 10% of the cost of the parts for the vehicle repair, which was $150. I also did not agree in writing for this charge to my check card. I was also left with my slashed tire (it was slashed from the strut), in the back of my vehicle without notice that this tire was in my backseat, and again without my permission. This business left a bad taste in my mouth and I will never have my car serviced at Meineke again. I will also tell others (especially women) to not trust meineke again. I am extremely dissatisfied and deserve an apology and the $150.Desired Settlement: An apology and at least some of the $150 from the cost I was charged back. Also a tire disposal fee (since I had to dispose of my own tire) of $25.

Response:

Thank you for the opportunity to respond.

On or about 12/31/13 Ms. [redacted] had her car towed to our shop. We had the vehicle immediately placed on a lift so that we could identify the issue with Ms. [redacted]'s car.

Once we had an opportunity to review Ms. [redacted]'s car, we identified that her rear strut had broke and as a result had punctured her rear tire. We then put together a price and presented it over the telephone to Ms. [redacted].

Ms. [redacted] agreed to the repair and we started to disassemble her vehicle and we also ordered to parts needed to complete the job.

About 45 minutes after we had received Ms. [redacted]s consent to complete the work, she call us back and asked us to stop the work on her car. She told us that she was a tow truck to pick up her car. We told her that we would put her car back together and that we would get the vehicle ready to be towed. I took us another hour to replace the strut that we had removed and to extract the spare tire so that it could be placed where the punctured tire was.

Even though we had an agreement from Ms. [redacted] to repair her car we decided to support her in her wish to take her vehicle to another shop.

We only charged Ms. [redacted] for a fraction of our time that we spent disassembling and reassembling her vehicle.

We prefer to have happy customers and that is why we will bend over backwards to do what they ask.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.

Review: On 09/01/14 had front brake pads replaced due to noise. Was told I should get "top of the line pads". Would be more expensive but worth it.The new brakes began making noise immediatley. Gave it some time to make sure they didn't need to break in or brake dust was causing the noise.Took the car back on 09/27 due to persistant noise. No noise when they drove the car, checked the brakes and told me nothing was wrong with the brakes. They said they would go ahead and order new brake pads and put those on just to make sure. They did not order new brake pads or put new brake pads on my car.I was told "I fixed your brakes, you call me only if your brakes don't make noise." I aksed twice wht was done with my brakes and he refused to answer. The brakes were making noise on the way home and continue to make noise. They lied to me about fixing the brakes.Desired Settlement: Paid $297.06 to have brake pads replaced. Would like full refund so I can take my car to another mechanic to have my brake pads replaced again.

Review: In had scheduled a oil change and front end alignment with Meineke in North huntingdon, PA. After the service had been complete the following day, I drove my car home, on the way there my check engine light came on. I got home and got packed for my trip, and headed out to get groceries, noticing the the check engine light was out, so I thought the problem was just a fluke! So I headed to work to drop my car off and pick up the company van! So My Car sat for a week while I was away! When I got back friday night, I drove home and the car sat until 10-11am the next morning, when me and my family had left out to attend a birthday party! It was about a 1-2 miles down the road when my car came to a complete stop and wouldn't start. So I called a tow truck to have them take it back to my house because my mechanic was on vacation when I called his Garage! Beings that I had bought warranty I called and contacted them on the matter. They had me wait until my warranty car had arrived to make a claim! When the card arrived (10 days), I made my claim and had it delivered to transmission shop. The first day they stated that my transmission had failed, by the 2/3rd day they were having issues getting the transmission out! The shop called me and stated the issue and what they found! Not only did my transmission fail but so did my engine, the engine had locked up due to the oil change that Menieke performed. It has been documented by the repair shop that the Oil Filter was Leaking, 2 O-Rings on the oil filter, 1 Old O-Ring was never removed and wedge in place. The 2 O-rings had blew out causing oil loss and the engine to fail, the crankshaft seized in the engine block and the transmission fluid burned up! After contacting Meineke several times thru Calls, Emails, and In Person about the issue and to resolve it, The owner decided to not take responsibilty for the inccident because he didn't agree with the transmissions shops mechanic. He Simply told me if you want your car fixed then sue meDesired Settlement: My car warranty company is dropping my claim that would have covered the repairs/cost of the engine and transmission. This is occurring because the deemed Meineke at fault. I am now left with the cost of $3054.72 after I already paid my deductible of $300.00. I believe that Meineke should be held accountable and have to pay the cost of my repairs! I've already tired to resolve this matter with the corporate office and the local business with no results!!

Review: About two months ago, I took my 2007 Dodge Caravan to the Meineke Discount Mufflers shop on Walnut Street in McKeesport and had my AC Compressor replaced, which costed closed to a thousand dollars including labor and parts. Having the work done through this business came with a year warranty. However, after a month of driving around with the new AC compressor, I started to hear a strange noise coming from under the hood of the van and thinking something might be wrong with the engine I took it to a professional dealership to diagnose the issues. What they found was when the AC Compressor was replaced the belts (Serpentine, Alternator and Timing) as well as the Tensioner needed replacing. Jim Shorkey's replaced the belts at $303.56. Since the diagnosing of the issue was done when Meineke incorrectly replaced the AC Compressor, I went to their customer service line to have this money replaced because they were at fault for the issue. At first the shop owner refused to respond to the claim due to my vehicle "not being on file," when I have all the proper documentation. After waiting almost a month, I resubmitted my claim and the customer service agent said they would contact me directly. Again, the unprofessional shop owner never did but contacted their third party who handles the claims and said they are not responsible for the issue and are not reimbursing anything because they did nothing wrong. I still have the voice mail message and all the proper documentation. The fact is they are responsible and this is a legal issue when all I wanted was the cost of replacing the belts reimbursed, but nothing was done. Due to their lack of professionalism I want the entire cost of having these belts replaced as well as the cost of the AC Compressor. Meineke has had several opportunities to resolve this issue in a respectful and professional manner and they refused.Desired Settlement: When referring to the claim above about the issue at hand. After multiple attempts to reslove this issue and having no outcome. Now, I would like not only the cost of the belts needed replacing ($303.56) but, also the cost of the AC Compressor ($877.50) totaling as $1,181.06. This is Meineke's last chance of handling this situation outside of court.

Review: Went to get car serviced got there asked technician about how long would it take for car robe serviced he then became extremely rude would not answer any of my questions and then told me to get out then another guy who said he was the owner said since he doesn't want to work on your car get out I'm the owner!Desired Settlement: Better customer service no other customer to be treated the way I was today

Review: I paid for a brake lifetime warranty 9/24/11. 1/31/14 I had brake service and feel I was overcharged.

I have the lifetime warranty on my front brakes. 1/31/14 I had brake service/replaced on my vehicle. First I sat in the office for almost 3 hours for a job that really only took 1 hour but I was charged for 1.5 hours of labor. I watched the laborer the entire time, who stopped and spoke with the other laborer various times for extened periods I have checked online for replacement rotors for my vechile (2008 Suzuki Grand Vitara) and noticed that they are less expensive and sold in pairs. Also the same type of rotors were put on my vechile. There are better rotors (slotted) that are less expensive and lead to less dust and better wear. I was not offered any advice on different rotors. I also am an USAF veteran and it has come to my attention that I was entitled to a discount, but this too was not even mentioned.

The service date and purchase date were 1/31/14.

Item [redacted] - front disc brake rotor $104.59 each, total $209.18.

Labor $90.00 an hour, total $135.00

Paid in full ($435.73) using my Mac card

I feel that I was overcharged for parts and labor. I accepoted the lifetime warranty as I origiannly thought it was a good offer, but I now believe otherwise.Desired Settlement: I want the establishment to treat customers with respect and explain other options for those of us who aren't always aware of other options until after the fact. I feel that I was over charged for labor when it was only an hour that my vehicle was worked on not 1.5 hours. I also am entitled to my Veterans discount.

Review: The shop Diagnostic Check was incorrect. Invoice stated, treat coolant system and flush & replace with new coolant.

Was charged $76.99 and asked to leave over night, I said no it has taken too long to check, and I didn't believe

that was my problem. Called Meineke [redacted] no help provided, was referred to Ms. [redacted] @ Driven Brand [redacted] who handles Meineke. She provided no help with my dissatisfied service and want a refund. I was told someone would call Me Friday November 21, I called again Monday November 24. After I left that shop I called local Goodyear Tire and was provided a Free Diagnostic Check while I waited. My vehicle needed a new Radiator because of hole/leak and extreme rust build up, replacement of Rusted Radiator Cap, and Themostat. The reason for me taking the car there is because it had no heat. Desired Settlement: I incurred cost of rental car for this service $76.67 plus $76.99 Meineke.

Review: I paid for a lifetime electronic wheel alignment for $179 they didnt use the allignment machine instead did it by just looking.at the tire alignment the owner said thats better than the machine.I trusted him.but after few months I noticed that my tires are wearing so fast so I have to buy another set of 2 tires in front.when I came back to him for my lifetime alignment he still dont wanna use the allignment machine, maybe he dont have it or just dont wanna use it,we argued that thats why I want you to use the machine so this wont happen again.he was so rude and accused me that it was my fault.so I told him that I just want my money back since he didnt do what hes supposed to do but refused in a unprofessional and very rude way.I dont want him to touch my car but I want my refund please help me.thank youDesired Settlement: as long as he give me a refund, but I dont wanna see him.im afraid hell do something bad to ma

I have read cusotmer complaint and his side of the story is totally not true, customer came to shop for alignment because his tires wearing out and was advised by another facility to get new tires and have wheel alignment done. after I gave him a price for both and paid in full he changed his mind and wanted to get only alignment done because he was going to buy his own tires, so I did and I refunded for the tires. after one week he showed up in my store wanted to install the new tires he bought and I told him we don`t install customer parts, so he said you are upset because I bought my own tires ? I tried to expalin to him this is a store policy then he started saying that he have a problem with the car when he making a turn the steering wheel doesn`t return back to postion and I told him that not an alignment problem there is a part in your steering wheel called clock spring resposible for that , then he maid another claim that there is a noise when he make turns and I told him if he wants us to check there will be fee for that , he wasn`t happy and he said we did a bad alignment job and it will be ok if we install this tires for him free and I refused. then he left.

Review: To the point: I foolishly brought my 2003 Trailblazer to have the rack and pinion replaced and I have been back at least 6 TIMES because of continuous fluid leak directly attributed to the poor workmanship. I brought my truck back on 12/31/14 at 11 a.m. and was told by the proprietor Matt that it would take no more than 1 1/2 hours and I waited or more than 4 HOURS! I checked my vehicle on 1/1/15 and found it was still leaking! I paid over $1.300.00 for the work and I am extremely disappointed knowing that I wasted my hard earned money and time. It is evident that these people don't know what they're doing and I am open to any suggestions or assistance that you can provide. Thank you.Desired Settlement: Refund for shoddy workmanship so I can take my vehicle to reputable shop for repair. I will also consider any other options but I do not wish to bring my vehicle back o this location for any service.

AS FAR AS THE PRICE ON MOUNTING AND BALANCING GOES OUR PRICE RIGHT NOW FOR $19.99 IS A SALE PRICE. THE WINDOW SYSTEM, ALL 4 WINDOWS WHERE NOT WORKING, WHEN WE PUT THE MASTER SWITCH IN THE VEHICLE ALL 4 WINDOWS WHERE WORKING FINE. SO WHEN THE VEHICLE LEFT THE SHOP ALL WINDOWS WHERE WORKING, WHEN SHE CAME BACK THE PASSENGER FRONT WINDOW WAS NOT WORKING AND WE TOLD HER IT NEEDED THE WINDOW SWITCH AND REGULATOR ON THE PASSENGER FRONT DOOR, UPON WORKING ON THE VEHICLE AFTER INSTALLING THE REGULATOR THE WINDOW WORKED WITHOUT PUTTING THE SWITCH IN SO WE TOLD HER TO TAKE THE CAR IT WAS WORKING, A FEW DAYS LATER THE WINDOW STOPPED WORKING SO WE PUT THE SWITCH IN FOR FREE AND NOW THE WINDOW WORKS, ALL WINDOWS WORK.

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT ACCEPT the response from the business.)

Who ever wrote this Statement is lying.. All windows were working, except the front Passenger ,and I have proof, I wrote on a reciept,I had from them when they did my emissions ,what needed to be fix and I had put electrical( thinking that was why the passeger window wasnt working) and in his own writing the owner wrote passenger window, and then he also wrote that I may need a master driver door switch or passenger door motor.( Before even looking at my car )And I asked why the Master , beacause all worked except the passenger window and he said he will make sure everything is working ,thats when he wrote passenger window on my paper; He is Lying...Thank you Mrs [redacted] p.s. I have all the reciepts, and I also Had to go back because they put on an airconditioning belt for me and forgot to hook it back up, they are very incompetent....I'm hopeing the mechanic [redacted] will be more honest w/ you thank you again..

Review: I brought my 2008 [redacted] sedan into Meineke shop #[redacted] in [redacted] on Monday, July 13, 2015 to have the air conditioning system serviced as it was only blowing hot air. I was told by the Meineke mechanic that the problem was with the condenser and that to replace it was labor intensive, that the front end of the car had to be disassembled, and that this included removing the bumper and disconnecting the transmission fluid line.

I had the repairs completed at Meineke at an expense of $798.93 and picked up the car Wednesday, July 15, 2015. It was not serviced or driven again until leaving for [redacted] on Monday, July 20, 2015. While on the highway in northern [redacted], the check engine light came on, the car immediately began bucking and a sudden loss of power occurred. The vehicle was pulled over as quickly and safely as possible. The car was immediately towed using [redacted] roadside assistance to the closest authorized repair facility, Team [redacted] in [redacted] for diagnosis.

Team [redacted] identified the issue as a failure of the transmission based on a visual inspection and the check engine codes [redacted] and [redacted]. Team [redacted] also noted seeing the new condenser in the vehicle, identified a massive transmission fluid leak where the transmission fluid line connected to the condenser, and identified that a black and grey safety clip was not attached all the way.

Team [redacted] deemed that the cause of the transmission failure was due to the improperly reconnected transmission fluid line going into the condenser and the transmission fluid leak. Here are some direct quotes from Team [redacted]'s documentation:

"…upon inspection found the lower transmission cooler line that goes into the transmission cooler / air conditioner condenser assembly was completely backed out and leaking transmission fluid."

"Found large automatic transmission fluid leak from line going to trans cooler. There was a black and grey safety clip that was not attached all the way. Added (7) quarts to trans and reattached line. Roadtested. Vehicle will move now but will not go into 3rd gear."

"Diagnosis of vehicle was internal transmission damage from lack of fluid."

Meineke in [redacted] was the last to repair or work on this vehicle prior to the breakdown, and their repairs occurred only several days prior to when the breakdown occurred. The Meineke mechanic in [redacted] had informed me of his repair actions involving reconnecting the transmission line upon pickup of the vehicle on Wednesday, July 15, 2015. Team [redacted] informed me that Meineke's failure to reconnect the transmission fluid line and secure the safety clip properly was the cause of the transmission damage.

The resulting damage caused by Meineke in [redacted] totaled $4,422.58 including sales tax:

$2,930 of the total was the parts to repair the transmission assembly/transaxel. $187.50 was for diagnostics. $140 was the expense to replace an axel which was damaged when the transmission failed. $54.25 was for replacement transmission fluid, and the rest of the total consisted of labor and sales tax.

Meineke customer service was initially responsive, however stopped returning our calls after Thursday, July 23, 2015. Because of their lack of response to multiple attempts to reach them, we had no choice but to undertake the repairs at Team [redacted]. Below is a log of our calls:

On Wednesday, July 22, 2015 at 9am my fiancee and I called Meineke customer service. The customer service representative took all of the vehicle and situation information and explained they would file a report and both corporate and the local Meineke would be notified with copies. The customer service representative would not provide a number for corporate when asked but stated to call customer service back if we don't receive a resolution.

On Thursday, July 23, 2015 at 1:50pm we received a call from Meineke customer service. Customer service told us the local shop in [redacted] admitted to working on the vehicle, disassembling the transmission line, and that it was possible the safety clip was not reattached properly. We received a follow-up call shortly after requesting the information from Chrysler be sent to the local Meineke. We called Team [redacted] directly and they faxed the service invoice and estimate to Meineke in [redacted] on the same day.

On Thursday, July 23, 2015 at 2pm we called Meineke customer service with the intention to confirm that the dealer repair invoice was on it's way and ask if they needed a copy, but received no answer and automated message said the Meineke's customer service rep's voicemail was full.

On Friday, July 24, 2015 at 4pm we received a call from Team [redacted]. The service manager informed us that he received a call from the Meineke in [redacted] and that the caller was "rude", "aggressive" and "would not do anything for you."

On Friday, July 24, 2015 at 4:20pm we called Meineke customer service again, received no answer, and left a voicemail providing name, phone number, vehicle/situation information, and asked for a return call.

On Monday, July 27, 2015 at 3:05pm we called Meineke customer service again. We left another voicemail saying we were concerned we had not heard back from them, and that if we did not hear back we would be proceeding to have the car repaired by Team [redacted]. We also informed them of the unprofessional nature of the [redacted] location's "aggressive" call to Team [redacted] and that nobody has responded to our calls.

As of the filing of this complaint on Wednesday, August 5, 2015, no resolution has been offered by Meineke. I have had no response from Meineke in [redacted] or Meineke customer service since Thursday, July 23, 2015. I have since had the vehicle repaired at my own expense and am seeking reimbursement for the repair costs.Desired Settlement: Full reimbursement for the repairs I had to have made to my vehicle, due to a direct result of Meineke's failure to properly replace the air conditioning condenser and failure to properly reconnect the transmission fluid line and safety clip.
