It has been nearly a week and no one has contacted me, as I expected, and again shows the lack of professionalism and service from this companyI don't expect this case to be resolved because Roadrunner doesn't care about their customers and just in it for the moneyLies from the estimate to the service to the follow up.

To whom it may concern, It is true that I did not directly reached out to RoadRunner Auto Transport but I did reached out to Alan Auto Shipping Inc (Trucking agency associated with RoadRunner Auto Transport)I made my vehicle transportation reservation with RoadRunner auto Transport and they sent Alan Auto Shipping Inc driver to picked up my vehicle to transport from California to VirginiaI been reaching out to Alan Auto Shipping Inc since the day I noticed that my camera bag was missingBoth companies are affiliated with each other therefore reaching out to one should be enough to share the information among themI have attached call logs showing that I did reached out to the Alan Auto Shipping company in order to resolve the issueThese call logs can also be confirm with AT&T if neededI have also attached my RoadRunner Auto Transport receipt for booking confirmation and I have also attached my Alan Auto Shipping Inc receipt for Dropping of the carTherefore if RoadRunner Auto Transport was not aware of this issue then it is a miscommunication between the two companiesIt seems like I end up paying way more than the transportation cost Thank You Sincerely,

our system that you had made a delivery change after you had already dropped your vehicle offIt shows that you wanted the vehicle held at port until August *** due to a change in the time you will be at the delivery locationThis change was made on 7/**/you spoke with our representative Taylor who had explained at that time storage fees would accrue and you would be held responsible for all fees caused by this change in deliveryYou advised that you understood that you would be responsible for storage fees and we went ahead and updated your order to reflect the changeSection of our contract does explain the storage fees and does state that you will have free days and be charged $20/day after the free days are upSince there was a slight delay in transport for this vehicle we had only charged you $15/day for the storageWe are unable to cover any rental car fees because of the delay because as stated earlier all dates and times are estimatedPlease see section of our terms of service that does explain that all transit times are estimatedOur carrier does not guarantee pickup or delivery on specified dates but will make a good faith attempt to meet quoted timeframesIn the event of a delay shipper acknowledges that we will not be held liable for rental cars, hotel stays or any other claimed expense caused by the delay Thank you

As I previously explained, it was understood by your company at time of booking that the vehicle would not be thoroughly inspected at drop off since I was not arriving until the following day If this was to be an issue then Nate should not have accepted the job In addition, just because your company is unable to file a claim against your sub contractor does not release you from your liability to me, your customer If your company is I will to pay for the damages obviously caused by transport (I typically do not have other vehicles drive up the hood of my car on to rooftop) Then you should at least reimburse me for the cost of the transport, as it is the right thing to do considering the damages caused by the transaction *** ***

Yes, today after I filed this compliant I received a call from the business saying that they have a carrier to pick up my car but now the date is set to Friday 11/**/which is days after the original scheduled date 11/**/While every business would take refuge behind these fine print disclaimers, no guarantee clauses etc etc., they were not clear about these up front when I was talking to the booking agent on 11/**/I had explained my situation about leaving Pittsburgh PA on 11/**/and that the reason why I am looking for a date prior to me flying outThe agent mentioned that since I had booked almost a week prior to the date, it should not be any issue to find a carrier assignedOf course, now I have to put this burden on someone else to take care of this for me at PittsburghAlso, since I live in an apartment complex in an area where these large car transportation trucks obviously cannot come in and which means the carrier would want the car to be driven to another spot where the truck is parkedThe person who will take this burden for me should also ensure that nothing happens to the car when he drives it from the apartment location to the location of the truck and ensure no damageAll this is unwanted burden on someone else on my behalf and stress for me till I see the car delivered to meThis is what the business has caused me due to their inefficient business practiceI would like to know if the business is willing to own any responsibility for this and compensate?

[Your Answer Here] In regards to accepting the $charge, I had no choice It was either I accept your terms or I could not pick up the vehicle from the dock Pamela informed me that if I did not pay and pick up the car by Friday July *** I would start accruing daily port fees As far as the Emergency brake being inoperable, I spoke in depth with the seller of the car about this and he said there was nothing wrong with the emergency brake when your driver Alex P*** picked up the vehicle from him He said your driver loaded the car onto his flatbed and engaged the emergency brake before hauling it to Long Beach The seller of the car said he even went into the car to double check the emergency brake was engaged per your driver's request It was in working order otherwise your driver would not have taken the car Somewhere between Alex picking up the car and Matson rejecting the car at their Long Beach dock someone broke the emergency brake I did not ask to be reimbursed for the cost of fixing the E-brake but I am asking to be reimbursed for the second transportion fee for a few reasons First off, Alex lives in the neighborhood where he picked up the car so was going back to *** regardless, he should not have charged a fee to take the car back Second, Alex was responsible for removing the car from his flatbed and I believe he pulled up hard on the brake and broke it but was not willing to take responsibility for it I say this about your driver's character because in addition to this Emergency Brake problem, I am also having a problem with him keeping the car's current California registration from me He has the original paper copy and on July *, *I asked him to mail it to me because without it I cannot switch ownership of the car or register it here in Hawaii He sent me a picture of the paper registration via text When I told him that I needed the hard copy he stopped responding to my calls or textsThe DMV here in Hawaii will not accept the picture, they want the hard copy of the car's registration The car arrived on island on June **, *and as of today I still do not have the car's registration from your company and therefore cannot complete the registration process, VIN verification (required for classic cars) and switching of ownership This has been very frustrating for me, I can't understand how withholding the car's registration from me is okay in your eyes I notified Pamela about this problem in an email on July *, *and then again on July **, * I will say that after the second email on July ** I felt that Pamela understood my frustration and she assured me she would get a hold of Alex to have him mail me the car's registration In the meantime though, I am unable to do anything with the vehicle and it has been on island for almost a month now and is just sitting in the garage In addition to this I only have days to register the car once it arrives before penalties start accruing While I am only asking to be reimbursed $for the additional transportation fee, I hope that Hawaii Car Transport looks at all of the issues I have had with their driver Alex P*** as a whole All have been extremely inconvenient and unprofessional and he shouldn't be used by them if this is the type of service the customer is getting I ask that they do the right thing, take the issue with their driver keeping the car's registration into consideration and reimburse me what I am requesting to make this right Thank you.

The transport did NOT BREAK DOWNOn Monday, 12/**/James from American Auto told me that he wasn't able to pick up the car until Friday, 12/**/James then explained why he didn't get the car on Friday and it's because by the time the driver went there it was already closedI am not accepting your responseI paid your company to have my car delivered on Thursday, 12/** and it wasn'tThe transporter did not breakdownMy car was shipped by Matson and it was available on 12/**/16. On Thursday, 12/** I was told that my car would be delivered on SaturdayI waited all day on Saturday and no one contacted meYour website claims "convenient 24/tracking" which is false! I used it times and no one contacted meAnd I'm told no one called me because you were closedBut your website says 24/7. Terrible customer serviceNo one shouldnt have to go through what I experienced with your companyI was left clueless and worried the entire weekend because your company didn't update me which a paying customer deserves. The service I received was unsatisfactory and I do not accept your response.
