Review: Merchant Account Solutions and or ipaymentinc are refusing to cancel a service to accept debit credit card on my iPad. On 7/19/15 downloaded a free app for this service and entered my info looking for amounts charged for this service and found finally a monthly service fee of $7.95. After completing their application process I called the number on the app to cancel this service on same day which went to immediate voicemail. On 7/21/15 I called to speak to someone about the account to cancel. I did not get a name but spoke with a man who said the application was still under review and at that time asked to cancel the account he said he would add that to my application to cancel. I thought this account was cancelled at this time. I received an email from Merchant account Solution stating a pin base added-do not reply email on 7/24/15. I then called the number again to speak with someone in cancellations and was transferred by an operator to a voicemail and again I asked to cancel this service. I called a couple of times to speak to someone and always got a voicemail. Never received a call back from cancellations. On 7/27/15 I received email from Joshua Jimenez who works with Merchant Accounts about proceeding to set up this account and email immediately back stating the account is cancelled. Mr Jimenez said he would forward file to cancellations. And that Cancellations will call me to cancel the account. To this day, I never received a call. Other emails were received to set up account. On Friday 7/31/15 I called again this time to and spoke with a woman who said I needed to pay a $545.00 cancellation fee that I had sign in the contract. I never saw a dollar amount anywhere in this contract while applying on my tablet. I stated I refuse to pay. She refused to cancel stating "So I am going to leave your account active to charge $4.00 and some change each month." I asked her to email me the contract and she never did and read my email back to me.Desired Settlement: It's deceitful. I never used this service and feel I diligently tried to cancel this service or application in a timely manner. Any and all fees or charges should be waived from them and not go against me.

Services were requested to process credit cards as a form of payment for their Jewelry business processing $500.00 monthly and were provided, all service fees pertaining to service requested are valid and services were provided. No service fees will waived/refunded as 98% of financial responsibility of agreement has been waived and $645 of termination fees per merchants misunderstanding of their agreement that was provided for them to read, understand and agree in which they did via their digital signature embedded with their IP address.

Review: I downloaded a credit card swiper for my phone that was listed as a free app. A rep from the company called me and walked me through the process of setting up my account. Never once in the set up process did the rep ask me, nor inform me, that what I was actually setting up was a monthly service, and in fact was a separate business entirely from the company that was offering the free credit card swiper. They claim that by setting up the account to activate the "free" swiper, I agreed to a two year contract with a monthly service fee. I have read over every single piece of literature Merchant account solutions and sent me and NOWHERE is there any disclosure of a two year contract with monthly service fee.

Merchant requested service by downloading our mobile application Credit Card Reader available through the Google Play Store for download for free. Merchant was contacted by our representative and advised to complete and online application in order to complete activation and for equipment to be sent out, merchant was also advised to read through application before agreeing to terms. Merchant completed application and agreed to terms and conditions via digital signature embedded with their IP Address **.**.126.113. Within those terms any and all service fees where listed and available to save and retain, also a welcome packet was mailed which included a CD with the Merchant Services Program Guide (Terms and Conditions). Review: In July of 2015 I was contacted by a Merchant rep. P[redacted]. He ask me about my business and If was interested of saving money on the fees charge by shopify. With a 5 minute conversation he explained to me the savings that I would see with his company and they make their off the processing fee. Nothing more in that 5 minute conversation was ever discuss. In no time of the conversation did he EVER mention a MONTHLY SERVICE FEE at all. In the month of September I noticed 3 transaction deducted from my account. $8.25 Authoriz.net, 2- from Bankcard total $70. When I left P[redacted] multiple message which he didn't respond to. I got transferred to the cancellation department where they explained to me that I had 3 accounts and for me to cancel it would cost me over $800. I explained to the rep. that all this was never disclosed to me, I asked if their conversation are recorded which of course isn't Not knowing what to do I ask for the contract which I never received. After multiple call I reach P[redacted] and we argue that he never disclosed to me all these monthly fees and further more that it would cost me $800 to cancel. I have a new business that barely make $100 a month at that time and I would never joined if all this was disclosed. He then said he would reach out to his manager to see about closing my account with no penalties. He has never contacted me back again. I've been trying to get out of this situation for months. Please Help. This company doesn't care about their employees process of getting people to sign up for dishonest service.Desired Settlement: I want to be released from this contract without any termination fees. Close out all accounts they have open with any third parties they signed me up to. I will overlook all transaction fees of actual transaction, but I want a REFUND for all the SERVICE fees of over $70 a month when I had no transaction.

following timeline will provide a better understanding and clarification.

Merchant applied

for services on July 14, 2015 at 10:21 am and spoke with one of our senior

account executives and was provided with a quote for 2 accounts for the

different equipment programs the merchant requested for their business. Merchant

was advised to submit Merchant Processing Application for both accounts. During the application process, it requires pertinent

information such the business information, owner’s information and banking

information. Each and every page of the application process requires

confirmation and submission, lastly on the last page it list ALL terms which

includes any and all fees pertaining to the services requested. The agreement

was digitally signed with the following IP address embedded [redacted].

To

accommodate the merchant’s misunderstanding as a courtesy the following was completed

in November.

month of service fees on cancelled account ($55.85)

Merchant’s desired

provided. This mistake costs our company application fees, licensing fees and

activation fees. All information pertaining to the services requested were

available to read. Merchant Account Solutions have already addressed this case

Review: I requested a card terminal and once approved was sent the terminal. There was nothing stating I was entering a contract at this time. My account was charged even though I hadn't used the equipment, so I contacted them to cancel so I could send the terminal back and was told someone would contact me. No one contacted me. I called back about a week later and was told if be charged $545 because I entered into a contract. I requested a copy and didn't get it so I called and spoke with a different representative that sent it to me. My contract did showed a termination fee of $0.00. I spoke with [redacted]. They requested I send complete a "Close Merchant Account Request Form" and I would be waived the $350, but still charged $195 due to a terminal addendum I "supposedly" signed. I requested a copy of this and was sent an addendum that had my name, but someone else's signature. I can show my signature on the cancellation form and this one on the addendum are signed by different people. The addendum also does not have a date on it. The addendum also states that I would be charged IF I didn't send the terminal back within 14 days of canceling. It was placed in the mail today and the USUS tracking number was sent to [redacted] and [redacted]. It will arrive at the company on Thursday. They still insist that I owe the $195 and I can't read and understand their addendum, even though I'm quite competent in reading and understanding. This company has sketchy business practices that rope individuals in without clearly stating they are entering into a contract and the fees associated. This business has many unethical practices.Desired Settlement: I request to not be contacted by this business any longer and they do not expect to get the payment of $195 since I've returned the terminal as requested/required.

I am rejecting this response because: that is not my IP address for any device I own. The signature on the terminal addendum is not my signature and was forged by the personnel at MAS. I have side by side proof of my actual signature on a document I sent them and the one they claim is my signature. Also, when I requested the original contract I e-signed, Courtney delayed sending it to me so I contacted a different customer service representative within the company and was sent the contract that stated my termination fees are $0.00. When I told Courtney I got a copy of my contract she claimed they hadn't completed it yet. The form is Adobe and a fillable document with a typed e-signature that can be placed on the form at anytime they need it to fit their needs. The date was inaccurate on both the contract and the terminal addendum, as well. I was never informed of a $295 fee, rather that's a new one, they claim I owe now. I was belittled by [redacted] during my dealings with him. I have emails of all of our conversations, as I'm sure he does as well.

Review: The sales people of Merchant Account Solutions mislead consumers to get their business. they never tell all charging facts of the contract.

I called them and asked about their service. I was told that there is only $5.00 a month for monthly fee and the rest only when I have a transaction they charge a certain percentage.

after one month they charged me $35.00 for a monthly fee. when I called and I complained I was told sorry that is the contract that you online sign it. I said I did not see the contract and I accepted what your sales rep talked to me which was only $5.00 a month. Then I asked I want to cancel the account they said sorry the contract is for 3 years so you must pay $350 penalty to cancel that. I said if you record my conversation you would not find any place the your sales rep talked about 3 years contract. They said sorry again it does it matter still you have to pay.

To me this is a fraud and cheating people.

Review: I accidently signed up for their credit card processing services from my cell phone. I never received any confirmation by phone, mail or by e-mail. When I received calls to order the card reader, I told them that I did not want to use their service. They never told me that would be an issue. I never order their card reader or used their service. I just received a bill for $32.90. I called today 10-20-15 to ask what was the deal and spoke with both C[redacted] and A[redacted]. Both told me that I had entered into a 3 year contract and had to pay over $500 to get out of the contract,or pay $32.90 and month or use their card reader and pay $4.95 per month. Neither would agree to let me out of the contract. I told them I could not go to craft shows like I had originally wanted to and had no availability to use their card reader. .. I again asked him to please let me out of the contract and he said no.When I told Anthony that I had no choice but to contact Revdex.com. I started seeing money taken out of my account from this company. I called to cancel a service that I was not even fully signed up for. They had told me that I signed a contract yet refused to send it. I want to cancel yet they refuse to let me. I have never received a terminal or training. The sign-up process supposes to be complete after a second phone call that had never happened. I want them to stop taking money out of my account or send me the 'signed contract' in which I know I did not sign and have asked for several times and they cannot provide.

Review: This company is a scam. They use epn secure in the app store. They will send you a scanner for your phone like square but when you do transactions they won't give you your money in your account. Then when you call to get your money deposited they give you the run around. You can tell its a scam because its always the same people. Do not deal with this company. She is not getting the "run around", she is failing to comply with our requests. Merchants last communication was "she's busy". Review: I was contacted by a representative, B[redacted], regarding a low credit card processing fee from using their terminal for my iPad with my business, Tiger's Kung Fu Academy. The rate was to be 1.49% with absolutely no hidden fees of any kind. I thought this was a great deal and completed an application with B[redacted] over the phone. I was never disclosed any knowledge of any fees or early termination fees, comtract length, anything. I disclosed my bank account information over the phone and was excited to start using the service.I was promised a credit card processing stand to process my payments and that it would be free of charge. What I got was a tiny processor that plugged into the microphone. When I called to complain, I always had to leave a voicemail for B[redacted] and I never once received a call back. So, I figured I just won't use the machine and was looking into sending it back.Then I received a statement stating fees charged from my bank account of $4.95 for a statement fee and a $2.95 regulatory fee. I had never once used the terminal to process any transactions with any of my customers. I called and spoke to C[redacted] to dispute the fees and said that I never agreed to them. I was told I signed a contract with them and completely agreed to all fees. I disputed signing any agreement of this sort. I was told I would be sent an email with the contract that I have never received and still have not received.I then requested that my account be terminated since I never agreed to such charges and have never used the terminal. C[redacted] told me it would be $549 to terminate my contract as an early termination fee. I decided to try and use the termina. The app to process the credit card payments would not work. Every time I would type in customer information the app would close down without fail. Their tech support rep could not detemine why the app kept closing.I called to complain and ask to waive the termination fee since it was not working. I was called a liar by the representative.Desired Settlement: I have never used the terminal to process customer transactions and cannot do so because the app for my iPad does not work. Review: I recently downloaded an app on my phone to use a card swiper. It wasn't anything that I desperately needed I just thought it would be nice to have. the app that I downloaded was called Smart Swipe. The application asked me to provide my information so that it would be possible for me to hook up the swiper and make transactions to my bank account. shortly after setting up the application I received a call from merchant solutions. they told me that they took care of smart swipe and they asked me if I had downloaded the smart swipe app and if I was ready to use it and of course I replied yes and asked how much it would cost to make a transaction they told me that it was a 2% fee to process. after 2 weeks I received another swiper in the mail and a piece of metal with my business name and my address on it. I was not sure why I had received the equipment because I already had the desired equipment. after a month of Merchant Account Solutions having my information they sent me bill that they had charged my bank account with a fee of 32.04. after seeing the bill I was in shock. note: (I had not yet made a transaction using the smart swipe). I called Merchant Account Solutions and they proceeded to tell me that I owed them a monthly fee if I used it or not. When I put my information in the app I signed absolutely nothing that agreed to a monthly fee. After deciding that the best thing to do would be to just shut my account off I was told by the deactivation manager that in order for me to deactivate my account I owed them 500 dollars for ending my contract early when I did not sign up for one. I have never signed anything from this business and if a box was checked while setting up the app I was not aware of what they were doing. I could understand a fee if the product was being used but I have not used it for anything. I asked if they would please waive the fee for I did not need there services and I was told they would not.

After reviewing merchant account notations and agreement Merchant downloaded and installed our mobile application Smartswipe on March 22, 2015. After downloading and installing mobile application which states in order to use Smartswipe application you must apply for a merchant account and directs them to our Merchant Processing Agreement. Within that agreement any and all service fees, terms and conditions were available for the merchant to read through, agree to and email PDF copies to retain. Merchant proceeded to enter all of their business information and business owners information and agreed to the terms via digital signature embedded with their IP Address **.[redacted]132.250 and had not spoken to any representative. Merchant Processing Agreement was approved and issued an account number and Shuttle credit card reader SN: 50[redacted]68. On March 25th, 2015 one of our in house technician reached out to the merchant to provide Smartswipe logins and to assist with installation and merchant complete a $0.03 test transaction. Merchant never inquired about pricing or to have agreement explained with any representative, as a company we received a completed agreement which stated merchant understood pricing that was listed.

Review: The following is about Merchant account solutions I have come across some bad business practices and misleading advertisements from the company stating " no cancellation Fees or service fees" when I had applied on the app with my iphone I wanted to test there service and said on the app that to deposit money I would need a routing number inserted that it would not be charged and only used for deposits. I have found out on 8/6/15 the company was charging me $35.90 for two months once on 07/3/2015 and again on 08/03/2015 . I immediately contacted my bank when I woke up today and tried to have the problem resolved with a representative from Bank of america on the line with me. I told him the problem I was having that I did not authorize and charges and did not know I was going to be charged any kind of service fee that these terms were not disclosed to me during sign up for the app or during the numerous phone calls with the company I spoke to a "R[redacted] sanchez'' with merchant account solutions during the first phone call I was under the impression that this was square account card processing services I had told r[redacted] I already have a square reader that I just needed a new one as mine was messing up I was waiting for a call back from square account about this and thought this was it.R[redacted] told me that I would need a new card reader and that it was completely free of charge and would send it in the mail.Once the reader was received I realized it was not square reader but another company and disregarded the items in the envelope about two months ago. This company is lieing about everything. When Aaron G. signed me up we talked numerous times. He assured me and I have email showing it's $5 a month to use then the percentage charge on each card swipe and it depends on the person's account. Also I said I will not sign a year contract and he re assured me I would love this company so much that he was signing me up for a month to month contract. AAron was so friendly and answered the phone and emails from me each time or called and wrote back right away. Now that I have signed the contract he will no longer answer any emails or phone calls and Courtney Meyers and her boss Anthony will not do anything for me. They said if Aaron said this he would have put it down in the contract. I am now being charged around $40 a month and I am not even using the card reader and I am in a 3 year contract that both Courtney and Anthony are saying their is nothing they can do. This is horrible customer service and such a lie getting people to sign contracts and saying sorry. I have been reading complaints now and everyone is saying very similar stuff is happening to them. This company should not be allowed to do this especially to their own customers. Please make sure you put this in their file of complaints. I would like to stop my contract because like Aaron said it's month to month. This is crazy. Please someone do something.

Review: I thought I was downloading an application to accept credit cards to my cell phone from Square. I inadvertently downloaded a different app which lead me to Merchant Account Solutions - a similar company. When speaking with the technical support I repeatedly asked them what company I was dealing with and was it related to Square. I never got a clear answer. I asked about fees and they said I would have to speak with my sales rep. I called him and told him I was not interested in their service, it was too advanced for my needs and would like to cancel and that it was within 3 days of downloading which should allow me to cancel. I told them repeatedly I was not interested in their service - it was a mistake. He laughed at me and denied my request and said it would cost hundreds of dollars to get out of their service. They denied me access to a contract I may have agreed to and said they would not give me access to something my lawyer would need to find in discovery.I returned their card reader immediately, unopened.I had to change my bank account so they could not deduct an average of $35 a month for not using their service.Desired Settlement: Refund fees collected, cancel contract and discontinuation of any further business.

desired settlement cannot be granted just because the merchant failed to read

the terms provided. This mistake costs our company application fees, licensing

fees and activation fees. All information pertaining to the services requested were

available to read. Due to the merchant’s misunderstanding as a courtesy we will

cover the remaining of a 36 month contract as well as all their termination

fees totaling $645.00. In order to grant this offer, merchant must return

equipment provided in good and working condition to the address listed below.

No refunds will be issued as the account was requested, services rendered,

installed and used. Account will be closed as soon as equipment is received, please

retain any tracking information for your records, any fees accrued during the

active state of the account are valid. Merchant Account Solutions would like to

Review: When I signed up for the service I had spoke with a man that informed me the only charges I would see every month was 4.95 beefore I signed any agreement I specifically asked if there are other fees involved because I was currently using square to process my credit card payments. I do not always process credit cards every month most of my sales come from Ebay, Etsy, my website and Amazon. He led me to believe this would be able to be used to replace paypal and possibly on amazon I never heard anything after I signed up about getting everything changed. I just figured okay 4.95 and paying less percentage then square would still be a good deal after 1 month of service money was trying to come out of my account not in the amount that as stated to me I contacted customer service yesterday they tried to tell me I could not cancel even though I felt I was decieved and tricked into signing up for the service. Finally C[redacted] called me back and said if I can get the form filled out and faxed back they would not impose the early termination fee but I would have to speak with A[redacted] about the other charges. When I spoke with him he was not helpful and was implying I had lied to them about my information which was incorrect. I specifically told the agent that my earnings came from online sales through mostly paypal and amazon. He refused to discharge the extra charges even after I stated I would pay the 4.95 as that was what I had agreed too but all the extra charges totaling 85.00 because I did not process any credit cards during june. I was charged 25.00 and apparently that is something I unknowingly agreed too since I signed up around the middle towards the end of May I thought this was unreasonable and was not properly disclosed to me during our conversation before I signed on. There is no person else I could get a hold of to dispute their actions.Desired Settlement: I want my account closed and the charges removed. I was mislead into this agreement and not fully understanding everything as the agent was on the phone going over everything (supposedly) with me. This was deceitful luring in of a small business. He quickly helped me setup an account but I was never explained clearly how the system works and how much monthly fees are going to be.

L[redacted] basically told me that I only be charged if I process the credit card. No detail explanation about monthly fee nor different rate charges for different credit card company.

My account request was submitted via online and I have never read any contract between them nor received any copy of it.

Today, because of their ambiguous way of doing business I went to cancel the contract with them. I received an email with subject: Merchant Account Solutions / Early Termination Fee $545.00

I had to call and ask what this "Early Termination Fee $545.00" means, and an agent B[redacted] told me because my account is less than a year, Early Termination Fee $545.00 will be charged if I cancel the account.

Their account setup website nor their account executive Mr. L[redacted] never pointed this out to me, which adds more suspicion and question about their business legitimacy.

I do not want to have any business relationship with them as I know that they take advantage of small business owners.

Merchant downloaded our mobile application Smartswipe on July 7, 2014 and proceeded to complete Merchant Processing Application. Merchant completed all information requested such business information, business owner information and as well as how much and how they process credit cards. On the last pages the terms and conditions are available for the merchant to read through, retain a copy and agree to. Merchant agreed to all terms which had any and all fees listed for the services requested, they signed the agreement via digital signature embedded with their IP address [redacted]. Merchant acccount has been closed since March 11, 2015, termination fees have been assessed and no other fees have been billed after closure. Any and all fees are valid as service were requested, provided and installed. Merchant has submitted another complaint with the processor Ipayment that completes our billing and was advised the same, no refunds for services rendered.

This company called me to sell me on using their credit card processing services. My sales rep was L[redacted] phone number ###-###-####. Stated that there was only an $8.00 monthly fee, also that each credit card transaction I processed would have between a 1.3%-1.75% fee charged. Stated that there was no contract and no cancellation fee and that I could cancel any time without penalty.

I used the processor for a month. Money took 3-4 days to show up in my account when it was promised it would show up the next day. I was also charged 2 seprate $35-$38 fees per month. Also each transaction was charged even more fees at the end of the month. I called and asked customer service what were all these extra fees and they gave me a vague answer that every credit card is charged different fees that I never agreed to.

Told the customer service rep I would like to cancel and was told to call back. When I called back I got put on the phone with A[redacted]. He was very rude, told me I was lying and that I was not going to get my way. Told me I owed $545 in cancellation fees because I had signed a 3 year contract which I never remembered doing. Told him all the lies his sales person told me and he did not seem to care. Overall the worst customer service I have received. Do not use this company! They scam lie and cheat their way to your money. Review: Merchant Account Solutions falsely advertised me. They told me if I utilize their services I only pay .39% of each transaction and that's it! Not only did the customer service rep R[redacted] tell me that but the advertisement on the app store that they utilize called "Credit card reader" advertises that as well. When you download the app it tells you to call a number to have services activated within 24 hours and you are good to go. I asked Russell were there any additional charges or anything he told me no and that he would send me a document to check a box to activate my services and my services would be ready. Russell told me I was giving him my bank account info so that the sales I processed could go in my bank account. I used the services once and told Russell I didn't want to go forward with the services because it didn't work for my business set up he told me it was fine and that was that. Come to find out they have been charging me $52.85 per month I WAS NEVER TOLD THAT THIS WOULD HAPPEN, and also I am on a 3 year contract I WAS NEVER TOLD THAT. I contacted them to tell them to please stop taking money from me, I canceled these services months ago....The absolute RUDEST person I've ever talked to in my life name Anthony Herrera told me that's not his problem I need to pay $545 in order to cancel...oh I can go on and on about how rude he was to me...he was so rude to me I honestly thought my friends were pranking me...
