Review: Hello- I signed up with these people under a verbal sales lady named maria assuring me that it was 4.99 a month/1.5% a swipe. That's it, that's all. No hidden fees, no contract, no back out fee. After noticing all of my money was not being deposited and trying day after day to get a hold of these people a guy by the name of Ben told me about some bogus accounting fees, batching fees, high risk account (?) Fee.....all things I was NEVER told about or even understand. I said I want to close my account and he told me it would cost $545. I told him absolutely not and that this was never told to me. He asked for my email with my contract so he could verify that this was not part of the deal. So I went back to look for the email that maria had sent me to set up my account. It turns out as I was going through the application process, (assuming there would come a part where it explains the details of my contract) it never actually took you to that or ran over it...so there is nothing...and that's their trick. They hope I don't catch on in that moment, and I didnt. They say they had and electronic signiture...Uhhh.what no. I asked THEM if I could see the contract that I signed, and they provided me nothing.Desired Settlement: I would like a check for all money's owed to me and an apology and a change in business practice.

We were able to locate merchant account information by other means but not by the information that was provided to the Revdex.com. We have received the equipment in good and working condition as a courtesy the account is now closed June 16, 2016 and termination fees of $645 dollars were waived and they were released of 94.44% of the financial responsibility of the 3 year agreement the merchant agreed to via digital signature which was embedded with their IP address [redacted]. Merchant was also mailed a welcome packet with all the programs guides and terms. No refunds will be processed as service were requested, provided, installed and actively used. Merchant Account

Review: I contacted them about services. The man who was my "client representative" B[redacted] asked me if I would have him do my application over the phone. He said it was easier that way. I made it clear to him that I only wanted a service type that had no hidden fees or costs and he assured me that there were only fees charged if I took a credit card payment from a customer. I asked him, point blank, about "no fees unless I use the credit card payment services". I have not used the service at all for anything! I called to ask why I had $35 taken out of my bank account this month and was told it was "fees". I couldn't believe it!! When I asked about canceling it I was told there was a $450 charge to do that!I received no contract after doing this "application" over the phone with B[redacted]. I was emailed a contract today from C[redacted] which states there is a $350 fee to cancel within the first year. Would never have agreed to the terms of this contract if I had been told of the fees or if I'd received a paper copy of it!! I would like to cancel my services with them for NO COST TO ME!! Their representatives SHOULD NOT tell people over the phone that there are no fees whatsoever unless you take a customer's credit card!! That is giving out false information!!Desired Settlement: I would like for Merchant Account Solutions to cancel my services at NO COST OR FEES to me or money taken out of my bank account!!They should honor what the representative, Bryan Pelto, told me that there were no fees or charges unless I actually used the credit card service.

There is full and complete disclosure included with all of our applications. Services were requested, provided, installed and used. Review: I downloaded a merchant app on my phone. I thought it was for merchant services with my US bank. After the download, a merchant service person called me to set up my account. I asked the man about fees and I was told there were no fees. I told him I would be only using the card swiper a couple times a year and therefore did not want to pay fees. I was never told about fees or 2 year contract. The man told me he would send out a card swiper. I told him that I didn't need one because my banker had already sent one out. I asked him if this was the right merchant services because I didn't need 2 card swipers. He insisted that one be sent. I told my banker what happened and he said that I downloaded the incorrect merchant services. So I deleted the wrong app, sent back the wrong card swiper and forgot about it. I forgot about it because I left messages and emailed the guy that helped set up my account and he never replied. Then I received a charge on my account. That prompted me to call the merchant. I find out that I was given a 2 year contract and if I don't charge a certain amount each month, the account is charged $32.90. I tried to close the account and was told it would be $545 charge. I don't want this to affect my credit. the bank account that is associated with the card swiper is to help my friend in Africa take care of Orphans. so I decided to work with the company and the rep brought the contract from 2 years down to 1 year and the monthly fee to $4.95 if $15 is processed each month on the card swiper. The rep said its expensive to set up an account and therefore the $545 would have to be paid to cancel the account. I appreciate the decrease in contract and fees but I feel the company could use better customer service. I was told I signed a contract. I am still waiting to see the contract. If I have to deal with this company for a yr bc I downloaded the wrong app and was told there were no fees, then I will, but hopefully their customer service improves.Desired Settlement: I would like the account closed without paying a fee of $545.

As Stated by the Business. This merchant concerns are they were not provided with equipment according to their last response nor agreement copies, please find below tracking information where the original equipment was delivered on 07/24/15 then returned on 09/09/15, merchant had equipment in their possession for almost 2 months before deciding to state they never received it. Also agreement copies were also mailed out during the inception of the services. Merchant Account Solutions has provided the merchant with the services they requested. Merchant proceeded to install the mobile application on 07/21/15 and did a test transaction. Merchant called in September wanting to discontinue their service and was offered to cut their monthly service fees by 55% and reduce the agreement of 36 months to 12 month, which releases them from 66% of the financial responsibility of a 3 year agreement. Merchant agreed. The merchant is able to process credit cards as form of payment via the mobile application they have installed without needing the additional free mobile swiper by manually entering card holders information. Review: I downloaded the "cash Register" app on my IPhone mistakenly thinking it was the "square" app. Downloading the app was free. They did ask for my bank information but I thought that was to deposit the funds I would be charging my customers. From what I understood Square does not charge monthly fees or requires a contract. (Again I was under the impression I was downloading square, I just wasn't sure at the time what it was called) I do not recall this "cash register" app informing me of monthly fees or termination of contract fees or that I was now under a 3 year contract. Or I definitely would not have agreed to that. I should mention that in order to use this service you need a credit card swiper which attaches to your cell phone. This is so that small businesses can charge their customers. A few weeks later I noticed a charge to my bank account for $30 or so dollars. Not recognizing what it was I had the charge removed and disputed. I then began receiving emails from Merchant account solutions. I called them and was informed that I had "by downloading the app" agreed to a three year contract, monthly deductions from my bank account or I would have to pay a $540 approx early termination fee. I was confused because I hadn't ever even received any equipment to even use this service, nor did I even want the service anymore because the small business I was planning on using it for fell through. Yet the man I spoke to on the phone an Anthony Hererra, still insisted that I would have to pay them. He even acknowledged that many people he spoke to made the similar mistake of thinking their app was "square" . Yet he refused to see my innocent mistake as just that and terminate any contract. He then acted as though he was doing me a favor by only tying me to a 1 year contract at around $20 a month. He threatened that his company would just continue to change the numbers with my bank so that either way they would get their money. This is extortion. I've never used their service or even received equipmentDesired Settlement: I want this company to terminate any contract. Stop harassing me for money or exorbant termination fees, stop trying to extort money from me for a service that was never used.

At this time the account has been shut down due to non-payment merchant has a collection balance due and as well as is scheduled to be billed their termination fees for not completing the revised agreement, we have several email communications with this merchant where we have lowered their monthly service fees as well as their merchant agreement from 3 years to 1 year and merchant agreed.

Review: I ]ust recently filed a complaint to get my account canceled through Merchant Solutions. The agreement was, when I send the items back that my account would then be turned off. I returned the items a few weeks ago. They are now trying to charge me a monthly fee. The charge is $14.95, which is lower than the previous fees. When asking Anthony Herrera from Merchant Solutions why they were still charging me I was told "because of the process of the account deactivation. -Note, the items have been returned and I still have never used there services- I put a stop payment to the transaction for my account. So they are no longer able to charge me.Desired Settlement: I ask that no charges be sent to my account and that it is deactivated immediately now that the equipment is returned and for all of my information to be deleted permenatly from Merchant Solutions.

Equipment was received via USPS 9[redacted]481 on June 16th and was processed for closure on June 26th with no termination fees. Any fees accrued for the month of June are valid as again per previous response "This case is in reference to 10662358. Review: After downloading their app I was contacted by a sales person who told me some info about their company and started the process of signing me up.I then went through another person to finish signing me up because it didn't work the first time. About a month after signing up I noticed there was a charge to my bank account for $22.90. When I called the company to inquire about the charge they told me that was the monthly fee to be a part of their company. I expressed to them that I was unhappy at not being told by either person on the phone about this charge and was told that I agreed to it by signing up(even though I was never told about it). I asked to then be removed from their company because I did not want a recurring monthly charge. I was told that the only way I could leave their company is by paying a fee of over $500. I have since called again and had to leave a message, I asked to be called back about this matter to hopefully get this worked out. I never received a call back. I feel this is a way for this company to scam people out of their money, they back you in a corner and tell you there is no way out. My account has since been charged another fee of $20.86.Desired Settlement: I would first like to be removed from this company so that no further charges get charged to my account. Second, I would like reimbursed for the second charge to my account because I feel I made it very clear to them that I was not okay with these charges and wanted to try to get the situation resolved.

Review: I saw that money was coming out of my account, so I called the company. I was told that if I did not pay 578.00 dollars for a termination fee they will take as much as they want every month. I was originally told that they take less than two percent of each transaction. After telling me they will extort me they then proceeded to tell me how worthless my profession was and mocked me in horrible ways.The manager A[redacted] called ME and harassed me. I felt very threatened by A[redacted]'s confrontational attitude and behavior. I am a type one diabetic with epilepsy the stress of this situation has harmed me. When you sign up for their merchant services, you are unknowingly locked into an agreement through which they can take any sum they like from your associated bank account. I was unaware of this until after they took a large amount of money from my account. They started out by charging me small amounts, and because it appeared like a regular debit, I did not realize they were charging me.It was not until they charged more for some claim (such as you did not complete a survey), that I finally noticed money had been coming out of my account I was able to trace several months of debits they had been taking from my account.When I explained to them that I had never agreed to purchase or use their service, they refused to rectify the situation. Again, I never agreed to purchase their services or any of their terms.Desired Settlement: I want my money back for every amount they have removed from my account including: 6/30/15-$5.83, 7/1/15-$19.95, 8/31/15-$19.95, 9/30/15-54.85.I would also like them to remove all account information they have on me, and agree to not contact me, or pursue further action.

exaggeration of extortion, harassment and alleged threats is downright false

and complete defamation of our companies continued merchant support to all of

our existing customers who have received nothing but the best service on their

accounts. It is unfortunate that a merchant must make false accusations and

provide conflicting information in order to achieve a desired resolutions.

In

closing, the desired settlement requested by Mr. B[redacted] cannot be granted.

Despite the inaccuracies of the detailed complaint Merchant Account Solutions

agrees to close the account as a courtesy to their misunderstanding of the

terms and conditions they agreed to for the services they requested, we will

release the merchants financial responsibility from their 36 month contract and

cover their Termination fees of $645.00 as long as the equipment provided is

returned to the address listed below. ANY fees accumulated during the active

state and leading up to equipment being received for closure are valid as

merchant has used the services provided. In addition Merchant Account Solutions

will not pursue to file any reports of the merchants emotional, life threats

and defamation they have done to our employees and our company during the time

Review: My company had an account with Integrated Card Service for approximately three years. We decided to cancel the service in October of 2015. They required us to submit a "close merchant account request form", and to ship the credit card machine to them which we did on October 21st 2015. In December, ICS charged us $32.90, so we contacted them to request a refund and spoke with A[redacted]. A[redacted] informed us that we were charged minimum fees for November because our account was in open status and we had not made any transactions for the month. We explained that as instructed by ICS, we had submitted the cancellation form and returned the equipment on October 21st. A[redacted] then said that it was a timing problem. He said that it takes between 21 and 30 days after the cancellation form is received before the account is closed out. Since that time period went into November, we owed the minimum fees. We explained that we had returned our equipment at ICS's request and that we could not have conducted a transaction in November if we wanted to and therefore we should not be charged. We added that the cancellation form had no such information about a 21 -30 day delay before the account would be close and we were not informed while on the phone. A[redacted] informed us that the form did not have to have that information. We told him that was misleading not to inform us of the delay or subsequent charges and it was not our problem that it takes ICS 21 - 30 days to close our account. A[redacted] again refused a refund. We stated to him that we would never use ICS's services again, he said that looking over your 3yr account volume, that will be of little consequence to us. He further stated that I had a problem with the word NO. He said that he has the power to push the button but he chooses not to.

I was shocked when I heard this. I have been in business for over thirty years and I have never been talked to in this manner by a representative a business. Totally unprofessional, condescending and rude!Desired Settlement: Total refund.

I am rejecting this response because: The business's response is inaccurate. The following is what transpired in this matter: On 10/21/2015, we contacted the business by phone to close our account with the business. We were instructed to fax the closure request form and to return the equipment. The form was faxed to the business on 10/21/2015, the equipment was packed along with a second copy of the closure form and was picked up by USPS on 10/22/2015. Now, it takes about five minutes, tops, to receive a one page fax. The equipment, with the closure form in the box, was delivered to the business on 10/24/2015, verifiable by tracking number [redacted], So, the business's statement that they did not receive the form until 10/27/2015 without the equipment is totally inaccurate. They received a copy of the form on 10/21/2015 by fax and another copy along with the equipment on 10/24/2015. We can supply paper work to verify this statement if necessary. We should not have been billed for anything in the month of November. We are due a refund.

Apologies. Dates are off. Package was received at Parcel Box on Saturday 10/24/15 (office closed), however packages were not sorted until 10/27/15 when the offices were open. As advised on closure email with closing procedures both closure form an equipment must be received in order to proceed with closure, there for the form received on 10/21/15 was incomplete(no equipment) and does not initiate the closing process until all requested docs and equipment is received, once again all this was provided to the merchant and explained. Per agreement merchant must submit closure request 30 days prior to contract end date for processing. It takes 30 days to process proper closure and to ensure no future billing, per agreement program guide section 23.1 (link below) provided during the inception of the merchant account. No refunds due per agreement and services rendered. Agreement has been completed and no additional fees are due. Please read all terms and conditions provided to avoid any additional confusion

Review: Hello I was look for a credit card reader for my business. I bought one on eBay so called the company that I thought was with the reader that I bought. Called asked to speak to representative I told them about the reader I bought on ebay they said that's great. They started out say they need my info to get approved. After getting all my info , he started to tell that I need there reader.then realized that this is not the company I was trying to call I said I dont want this. They said, well let send some info to look over if you chage your mind .so at that point I thought I stiil had to authorize it. at that I still didnt realize they had me signed up is after they got all my info and they had my swipe the screen they said to authorize the info search did r.ealize I signing a very expencive service I dont need. They say I'm in 3 year contract and have pay 500.00, to get out of it. I had my bank dispute it and they refunded 7.90 but sent a letter saying I owe 25.00 late fee.I feel I was mislead into signing this contract the manner refused to let me off. So they have my bank account info and can take money out . Im not sure how reputable they are. I realy feel tricked into a ip adrees signing . I still dont have copy of contract they will tske 30 days to get to me. Review: I was contacted by M[redacted] from merchant account solutions who gave me a sales speech comparing their company to square merchant assuring that I will save half the money by processing credit cards with their company I have asked all the questions including the fee charge for each credit card transaction which M[redacted] said it will be a flat rate of 1.5% no matter what credit card is used. I signed up understanding that I will pay $4.95 a month plus 1.5% per transaction. The first transaction of $6000 they charged me 4.8% which amounted to $290. I called to cancel the account and instead of taking responsibility for their action and offer some apology they wanted to charge me $540 to close the account. I think this business is a sham and shouldn't be able to do business in Los Angeles county. I've had numerous different merchant accounts and I've never encountered such stealing tactics. Review: In May 2015 I thought I was getting the Square from the App Store and instead was signing up with Merchant Account Solutions. I recall getting a phone call fairly quickly from a Christopher as well as a bill in the mail for $32.90. I called him to close the account. I kept getting this statement every month for -32.90 and disregarded it because I had closed my account and couldn't figure out why they would be putting money in my bank account (which I knew they weren't any way). That's how I interpret a charge of -32.90. Then I just received a bill for -52.85 this month and finally realized all this time that they've been taking money out of my bank account without my knowledge or permission! I have record of them withdrawing 32.90 on both July 3 and Aug 3 and $52.85 on Sept 2. On Sept 16 I called the number on my statement and spoke with Sharon and told her I want my account closed. At that time I didn't realize they were taking money out of my bank account. She said I should hear from someone within 48 hours. That same day, I came to that realization and sent an email to the company requesting that my account be closed and my money refunded since I had requested the account closed in June. I got a reply to call that same 800 number. Today I called that number and was told to call a different number which is closed since it was after 5 pm. I am getting the run-around and want my account closed immediately and my $118.65 refunded. I also want assurance that they are not defrauding me in any other way. p.s. The reason I didn't know they were withdrawing money from my bank account is because on my bank statement it said "Bankcard MTOT Artist" and I thought it was something else. I signed up for this service in Dec of last year. I live in Alaska. I had a small business, just me as the sole owner and no employees. I thought it would be great to take credit cards! I signed up and got CC reader for my Apple device. Then my company went under two months ago and I closed my doors. I called Merchant Account Solutions and they helped me by cutting down my early closing fee. Anthony was very helpful. This is a good company. I would recommend them to anyone! They said around 1.10 % square is 2.75% it started when I got it and couldn't adjust the tip price.. This offer was based on the monthly volume of $10,000 that the merchant

reflected $31.52(2.83% not 4%) for card fees for transactions $1,112.85, which

was significantly less than what the merchant stated on their merchant

application. They were not offered a refund but in turn a reduction for

processing lower than volume requested. Monthly fees and credit card rates were

lowered to accommodate a lower volume.

charged $22.90 per month or pay a cancellation fee of $545.00. He told me that I needed to learn how to read and that the terms and conditions states that I had 10 days to change my mind and that I was clearly past that. I informed him that I could read and

Review: On Aug 5th I received a statement showing a $32.90 fees charged to my business account so I called to find out what this was all about. I'm being charged an additional service fee because I'm not making any deposits into my account. The reason I haven't used my account yet since July is because there card reader equipment did not work with my equipment. Note, not my fault, it's there's and they knew it. I called back and was told I'd have to upload a new app and they will send me a new reader. Remember I'm still being billed a service fee. So I called them today and now I have to find another phone to call them on in order to trouble shoot the problem. rates for their credit card processing. Mr. K[redacted] was given a quote based on

their established processing volume and business type. Merchant was directed to

our online application process, where is requests pertinent information to be

entered in prior to application submission, these steps include but are not

application process is very clear, concise and requires acceptance by the

applicant in each step of the process, the final step is a set of terms, this

prior to acceptance of the terms listed in our agreements. There is full and

Installation

of Smartswipe App with a test transition of $0.03 was completed on June 17,

2015. Services were requested, provided, installed and used. Merchant experienced

compatibility issues on August 28, 2015, was trouble-shot and a replacement was

sent and it was also installed. Merchant did place several calls to tech

support and received proper assistance and never encountered any issue to use

device per our records and transaction history.

In

closing the desired settlement requested is to have the account closed with no

early termination fees. Merchant Account Solutions stands by its services,

products and terms listed in our fully disclosed and completely transparent contracts

at all times and while we feel that we have delivered the services requested to

the best of our ability, we will waive the termination fee due to their

misunderstanding of the terms provided. Termination fees will be waived as long

as the equipment (2 mobile readers) provided is returned in good and working

condition to the address listed below.

Merchant Account Solutions would like to advise merchant in their future

business ventures to always read and have full understanding of the terms

provided for services they are requesting to avoid confusion such as this.

I have reviewed the response made by MAS in reference to complaint ID 10821408, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. Additionally, I will return both readers to MAS returns Ref # 01947. Note: In the future Merchant Account Services should enplane all of the ramifications about cancellation fees, monthly fees if you don't use the equipment. We need to know the reason there transaction fees are less then most is because they make it up in monthly fees which were not explained at any time. I will return both readers to MAS returns Ref # 01947, certified signature and I will report back to the Revdex.com that all termination fees were waive or not.
