Review: I'm a small business owner of 15+ years. I was contacted multiple times by a sales person from this company encouraging me to switch my merchant processing. I never received a competitive quote via e-mail only verbally. I answered the questions he asked me without fully understanding I was agreeing to a 3 yr contract. I specifically remember asking the question, I can still decide when to switch correct? the answer was "yes" Also I was told that I wasn't going to be locked into any type of contract. I continued to process with my current co. When I received a bill from this co. and called to question it and request that they send me a copy of the contract. The response was I would have to pay $600 in penalties. There were no exceptions. When I asked to receive the contract I was told it may take up to 30 days for them to send it to me. The lack of communication and integrity within this company has made me recognize I do not want to do my merchant processing with them. The 'customer service specialist' I spoke to was very adversarial, not at all accommodating to any request. When I asked her for a supervisors name and number she responded that there was not anyone else I could speak with.Desired Settlement: The resolution I require is to exit myself from this contract. I do not trust this company to accurately and honestly process the sales from my business. They do not treat their customers, me-the business owner, with respect or consideration. I would like a fair resolution. I don't feel that it is fair that an error on my part created by a pushy, persistent sales person not giving me all the information should result in a $600 penalty. When they have not performed any service for me.

I am rejecting this response because:I received a message stating that this complaint had been resolved outside of the Revdex.com. This is not true. I did have one conversation with the merchant services co sales person "B[redacted]". We did not resolve this situation, I'm still committed in a contract that I have not signed and they are charging me for services that I'm not using. I have reached out to B[redacted] on 11/27 and 11/30 and only got a voice message, and no return as of yet. I did express to B[redacted] that WHEN my issue was resolved to my satisfaction I would contact the Revdex.com and submit that it had been resolved. That has not happened. I was surprised to receive the e-mail message from the Revdex.com that it had been resolved. So clearly B[redacted] sent that message. I would appreciate any support that the Revdex.com can offer to me. I'm a small business owner and I do not feel like this company is up front with their communications.

Review: I was contacted about this service back in February, by a L[redacted]. I was ask about my business which was small and just started. He give me the pitch about the benefits of this company's services. Once He got my information and got me approved, he never sent me a contract or made me aware of all the fees involved. If I had known I would have never signed up for it. I did not sign a contract and a contract was never sent to me. I just received a contract from Anthony Herrera just today. After requesting it a couple of months ago. It only came because I insisted on seeing it. After examining the contract, my signature is not on this contract. I asked to have this contract terminated days after setting it up. I have been given the run around every since. I have been charged for the account since April and the equipment has been returned since 5/21/2015. I never used the equipment not once. I was told by Anthony Herrera that I sent the equipment to the wrong place and that it would be rerouted to me so that I would have to return it again. That is why it took so long to get back to the company. I want the account terminated, with no fees. And I want refunded to my account the fees for the time that the company took receipt of my returned equipment. 5/21/2015Desired Settlement: Refund of fees from May 21, 2015 to the present.Since I have returned the company merchant equipment.I want the termination fees waived.

I am rejecting this response because:

The contract was never sent to me until I complained. The terms of the agreement including fine print were not disclosed. When you bind a person in a contract they should be able to read and also sign the contract before agreeing to any of its terms. I returned the equipment on 5/17/2015. This should have stopped the service fees, but they continued. I am totally dissatisfied with the customer service of Merchant Solutions. I am extremely dissatisfied with the professionalism or Anthony Herrera.

Review: Last Januray or February 2015, I wanted to start a Mary Kay business and thus I researched some credit card swipe services, and I saw on apple that Merchant Account Solutions have good reviews so I downloaded it, and read the contract and agreed. It says that the credit card reader is even free and the service is free. There was a representative who called me and said "oh I need to teach you to this but can you give me a debit card just to test that it works and he even said YOU WILL NOT BE CHARGED FOR THIS. So I really thought they were just testing if the machine works so I gave my information. I never pursued selling Mary kay this I called them that I dont needs this service anymore. Months after months, I keep getting fees and they said I agreed to it. But I never did. And to close it they want me to pay $545 which was never wriitten on the contract. You can try and download the app and it doesnt sah there. I am not stupid and if I know there are fees, I will not use this app.Desired Settlement: Refund all the fees they charged me.Close my accountAnd not charge $545 which was never stated. This is a very bad business

Review: Sales Rep misrepresented facts to induce me to change credit card processing to his company.

Sales Rep misrepresented facts to induce me to change credit card processing to his company. Upon discovery of misrepresentation, I informed the sales rep that I did not want to do business with his company. Today I discovered that "Merchant Account Solutions" has taken $124.53 from my account over the last 4 months. I have not processed one credit card transaction with this company. Upon calling the company today I was informed that I would have to pay a $545 termination fee.Desired Settlement: I want the $124.53 that this company took from me refunded and I want them to stop taking funds from my account

We have reviewed this merchants account notations, communications and agreement. Per notations merchant applied for our services on January 15, 2015 by completing an online application, which requested all of their business information as well as the business owners information and was digitally signed with their IP address embedded . Merchant stated their business ran $20,000 per month of credit card transactions and was quoted a monthly service fee for this volume. On the agreement it also stated if the merchant would not use services that additional non-processing fees would incur. Merchant has not processed any transaction aside for the test transaction completed on January 22, 2015 during the installation process of the equipment.

Review: The credit card services company, Merchant Account Services, [redacted] Rd., Suite 203, Thousand Oaks, CA, 91360, misrepresented their service, offered an unsustainable low processing fee, then raised it and refused to process by my most recent transaction. Their charges are exorbitant and when I tried to cancel/opt out of their service, they said I had agreed to a three-year contract and they would be charging me $545 to cancel. I note that through an online search that other companies have had similar negative experiences with Merchant Account Services and that my company is not the first to complain of their practices.Desired Settlement: I would like to return their credit card phone swiper, be absolved of the so-called cancellation fee and have no further association with this company. I see that the Revdex.com has interceded for other businesses and would hope the same for my company.J[redacted], owner SONOMA WOODCRAFT

Response:

In order to address this merchant concerns we have review their account. Merchant was approved to accept credit cards as form of payment for their furniture business with limits requested of an average ticket of $850, a high ticket of $3,000 and accumulated monthly volume of $25,000. Merchant was provided a quote based on their limits request. Within the agreement they agreed to adhere to set limits they requested and were approved for. Merchant processed a single transaction outside of their limits requested and were billed accordingly, however the merchant did not have sufficient financial support to process the amount outside of their limits and were advised to process a refund. Merchant was then refunded as a courtesy the fees associated to the credit card transaction. Merchant has been advised this on numerous occasions. At this time for violating their agreement we will be closing out the merchant account due to security risk. Merchant must return mobile card reader provided in good and working condition to the address listed below.

Review: This company signed me up for a credit card processor without my permission. They want me to pay 575.00 cancellation fee for a service I didn't sign.

I bought a free app from the apple App Store. To sign into the app you needed to fill out a sign up form to get your login and password which was supposed to be emailed to me right after sign up. What I got was signed up for a credit card processing service without my knowledge. I called them to find out what was going on they said I needed to pay $575.00 cancelation fee. They even checked my credit without my permission. The guy on the phone said sorry it happened to a lot of people. I'm not a lot of people I'm medically retired from the Army and I live on a fixed income. I can't afford this.Desired Settlement: I should not have to pay a cancellation fee for something I did not authorize. I already have a credit inquiry on my credit report. How many other people pay this fee just so there credit don't get ruined from this company.

Anthony was very rude and told me that I should be more careful when I am signing something and he is not going to refund any money and if I want to cancel the account I would have to pay a termination fee, and if I wanted to get a card swiper I would have to pay $195.00 for it.Desired Settlement: I am looking to get my account with Merchant Account Solutions cancelled and I would like a full refund of $837.75.

On June 4, 2014 Mr. [redacted] solicited Merchant Acccount

Solutions and applied on our Mobile Application for the service in question,

the account was approved and the hardware mentioned in the complaint detail was

shipped, delivered and signed for by Mr. [redacted] June 11th 2014.

The complaint listed by Mr. [redacted] states that he received

an email from a representative listing out our offer, pricing and terms for his

new account, chief amongst the details mentioned was that there is $4.95

Monthly statement fee listed as part of the offer, in the latter portion of the

same report Mr. [redacted] states that he never agreed to monthly fees. Either the

context of the email was written incorrectly or the information provided

outright contradicts itself. Historically Merchant Account Solutions has

firmly stood by all offers that are presented in writing from representatives

but we were never provided such an email nor details explaining the offers the

complaint detail is the first bit of information provided suggesting such

emails, agreements or amended terms.

Despite the inaccuracies in the complaint it has been

founded that Mr. [redacted]s application was submitted to our company unsolicited

through our Mobile web portal; in this application all details of our

agreements and contracts are very clear, concise and requires acceptance by the

applicant in each step of the process, the final step is a set of terms - this

section provides all important details in regard to the pricing and structures

for each respective application. All items listed in question via the complaint

detail is available at that point and viewable prior to acceptance of the terms

listed in our agreements. There is full and complete disclosure included with

all of our applications and this situation is no different.

In the interim Merchant Account Solutions has also founded

that Mr. [redacted] had 2 separate accounts with Ipayment Inc. whom is the

underwriter and processor for the account in question as well as the processor

for the aforementioned account ending in XXXXXXXXXXXX8191. Inexplicably on October

17, both accounts mentioned were shut down due to Security Risk Issues and

Fraudulent Activity, this was not done at Merchant Account Solutions request

but as a blanket closure for all accounts under the Ipayment Inc. umbrella. The

correlation of dates of this complaint as well as the dates of force closure

one can only assume that we have not done anything wrong other than provide a

service that was requested by Mr. [redacted] and this is an effort to further

engage in fraudulent activity.

In

closing, the desired settlement requested by Mr. [redacted] cannot be granted.

Merchant Account Solutions agrees to close the account with no Early

Termination Fees as long as the equipment is returned in proper working order

but there will be no refund of the monies requested.Shuttle Serial Number 417[redacted]62Ref # 31957MAS Returns

Response:

I do not agree with the response from Merchant Account Solutions. Merchant Account solutions has not addressed the reason why they are taking $55.85 from my checking account every month. I clearly have not agreed to pay $55.85 per month, if anything should be paid to Merchant Account Solutions it is $4.95 per month. I also contacted Ipayment regarding the cancelled account and the account was closed because they do not do business with insurance companies , all insurance companies pose a security risk. The account with ipayment was not closed due to fraudulent activity and I attached the letter from ipayment that shows why the account was cancelled. Merchant Account Solutions is clearly telling people thay can get a credit card processing account for $4.95 per month and then going ahead and charging them more than the $4.95 and when you call to cancel the account they tell you that you are signed up for three years and it is probably cheaper to just pay the monthly fee.

I believe I should receive a refund for the all of the monthly charges of $837.75.

Merchant Account Solutions has not provided a contract that I signed stating that I agreed to pay the fees I was charged.

Please refund me the charges of $837.75 and close the account.

Response:

As previously mentioned, we stand by the existing offer to release the merchant and cover the remaining financial responsibility of a 36 month contract and the $645.00 termination fees as a courtesy due to their misunderstanding and potential security risk due to their business type as well false information supplied during their application process. Please return the equipment provided in order to close out this case. Merchant proposal cannot be validated as it does not supply a date or valid employee signature, merchant proceeded to agree to terms provided during the application process at the fees their being billed. Merchant Account Solutions provided the merchant as requested service to accept credit cards as form of payment for products/services they would be selling with a requested monthly volume of $3,000, which the merchant did not fulfill their part of agreement and not just limited to their monthly volume among other information provided inaccurately which violate Card Network rules and regulations. In conclusion please return equipment provided to proceed with fee waivers as a a courtesy to the merchants misunderstandings. Review: Applied for card reader app through apple. After couple days I reconsidered and decided not to get card reader or use their services. A week after applying I spoke to someone (he wanted my bank info) and told them I had changed my mind. Now I have received a collection notice for 3 months of service $78 (which cant use service without card reader) which they say is their monthly base rate. Spoke to C[redacted] (extremely rude) and she said I must pay for services even though I haven't used any! I asked her if that is how they run their business, by charging people without providing any service, her reply was "you applied for service, therefore you must pay." I run my own business, I wouldn't have business if I charged for zero service! I told her I wanted my "service" cancelled immediately and her reply was "I need to send you a form you must fill out." Why do I need to cancel something I never used nor wanted?? Review: merchant account solutions along with ipaymentinc.com is trying to charge me $545.00 in cancellation fees. they claim that I am in a 3 year contract in which I never agreed to nor signed at the time of consultation. these companies provide credit card terminals. I received the equipment in early august 2015. I didn't like it so I tried to return their equipment since then and a rep by the name of A[redacted] at Merchant account solutions is telling me that I must pay a cancelation/termination fee of $545.00. ipaymentinc.com charged me $33.70 on 8/4/15 for the service even though I've been trying to cancel the service. they went ahead and waived the fee. but Mr. Herrara is steadfast in charging me a cancellation/termination fee. I asked him to produce a contract he said I signed and he told me it will take him 30 days to retrieve it. By that time ipaymentinc.com will try to charge me again for a service I have been trying to cancel.Desired Settlement: Id like to return the equipment to merchant account solutions with no cancelation/termination fees imposed because they haven't produce a contract they claim I signed, though I know I never signed a contract. He said that all contracts are vague and other reps have said that I'm not in contract. so I just want to be rid of both ipaymentsinc.com,epn soltuions, merchant services and their equipment.

I am rejecting this response because: at first the business claims that there are different service levels and/or contracts specific to the type of card terminal you need. Also, I find that strange because there are none on your mobile app or your website. After researching your mobile app I found the terms an conditions. They never explain iPayments inc charges for card processing nor do the explain what that company is, and upon examining it further I found that your termination fee EQUAL TO $350 if terminated before completion of the first year of the term or $250 if terminated after. "Merchant is approved, any cancellation by You of

this Agreement within three (3) years from the date of approval or is

terminated by Servicers due to an Event of Default by Merchant, will be subject

to the applicable early termination fees and Merchant will be charged a fee for

such early termination equal to (i) $350.00 if terminated before completion of

the first year of the Term; or (ii) $250.00 if terminated after completion of

the first year of the Term but prior to the end of the third year of the Term

(See Section 22.1 of the Agreement " But in one of your responses you say I am to pay a different larger amount BUT your agreement also states "Your use of this Website is authorized only if

you have obtained a password that allows access to you as a User. By clicking

the "Accept" button the first time you access this Website and by

continuing to access and use this Website thereafter you are confirming (1)

that you have read, understand and accept the terms and conditions of this

Agreement in full and (2) that you have the legal authority and capacity to

enter into this Agreement and be bound thereby on an ongoing basis on behalf of

the User." I NEVER used your services nor did I or anyone in my business accessed your website. So I am not confirming your terms and conditions. I tried to return your equipment on or around 8/3/15 after installation as your business sent me both a mobile card processer and a stationary processer which happen. AND another company charged me fees in which I knew nothing about. This is not a case of buyers remorse, this is more of a deliberate misinterpretation, miscommunication and shady business practice. I have shipped your equipment via fedex and the tracking number attached to this response.

Review: I downloaded the app called Smart Swipe. It was free and the card reader was free also. You are only supposed to pay a small percentage from each sale when you use their machine. Then someone called me to tell me that I had to download the app that actually let you process credit cards. Then the guy told me that I had to provide my routing number and bank account so that they could do a test payment process to make sure everything was working. Well, that is just the method they use to gain access to your bank account and to begin to steal your money. They took $32.90 out of my account the first two months and $52.90 the third month. I have never even used their card reader or services! I called the company and got transferred to Anthony. What a piece of work he is! I tried to cancel and he told me that so had signed a three year contract and that I would need to pay $545 to cancel. First of all, I never signed any contract. He continued to badger and belittle me.Desired Settlement: I would like a check for the full amount that they stole out of my bank account, in the amount of $118. 70 to be exact. I also want out of the bogus contract without paying them anything. Also, no bad credit reporting on my credit report.

Review: Back in January of this year(2015), I contacted Merchant Account Solutions and spoke to B[redacted] about using their services. I was notified by him that I did not meet the requirements and that I would be up to standards a few months later in March. About a week into March(2015), I received another call from B[redacted], inquiring on whether or not I would like to continue and submit the application. I kindly told him no due to the fact that I had lost interest. About a month later, I noticed that my bank account was being charged for using their service. I called B[redacted] regarding the matter and he informed me that there had been a contract signed from a DIFFERENT IP ADDRESS in a COMPLETELY DIFFERENT STATE. I informed him that I was never presented any type of contract or documentation, physical or electronic, nor did I agree or sign to use their services via phone, electronic signature, physical signature, or any other means. I asked B[redacted] if he could send me such documentation showing some type of signature from myself and he said he would send it to me within 48 hours. It is now one week later and counting and I haven't received any form of documentation from him whatsoever. Merchant Account Solutions is a dishonest, fraudulent company that fails to provide documentation when asked for it and uses other peoples' information for accounts to make a profit without the end users consent or any type of prior notice.Desired Settlement: Closure of the account that was not authorized by myself and refund of the total amount of money that has been charged to my bank account thus far.

Hello, In order to address this merchant's concerns regarding their agreement with Merchant Account Solutions we have reviewed their account notations and communications.

Review: Hi there, those people are scamming people openly they are not even scared. If you go to the App Store they have many apps with different names , also they are using deferent names as DBA.They lie on the phone to have you sign up and when you sign there is no contract the refuse to show you rates also I called and asked them if there is a cancelation fee they told me there is non. When I want to cancel they told me you have to pay $545 termination fee. I told him I m gonna call the attorney General he said we are big and we will trash your business online . Those pleople need to be stop by law enforcement with sting operation . Also when they charge you monthly fee they hide the trace in bank statement and they put this fake number 1 (800) 324-9824.Desired Settlement: I want to cancel the service with being charged bogus termination fee $545. They need to stop scamming people also they should be reported to the government for fraud.

Business

Response:

In no way shape or form have we violated the agreement which the merchant agreed to when they requested services, we did not solicit to have them apply, they requested a way to process credit cards as form of payment for their transportation business. Services were provided, if the merchant proceeded with the agreement without having a full understanding of the terms they were provided to read through and ask any questions it is unfortunate that we are being blamed and accused of "scamming" people.

Review: Due my business having a fire. I was unable to contact the ICS in a timely fashion. When reconciling my list of accounts I noticed I was still being charged by the above company, so I made several attempts to contact the company. Having being on different time zones I was unable to speak an account executive, but I left several messages explaining that a fire did occur at the business and was unable to use the service and equipment, thus requesting a refund for 4 months of billing for just having the service $ 47.90 each and a annual fee which is prorated of $147.85. The request was placed and denied, because I was told that I didn't make enough attempts to contact them, which is untrue because they have the dates of my attempts, but it wasn't enough for them. And the person that handles my account never returned my call of which a message was left about the fire and to request a refund. My request was denied but I'm not happy about it, because in an effort to satisfy the customer maybe they could have made an exception an at the very least refund One (1) charge. But its is ok. It was more important for them (Anthony H[redacted]) to tell me that he knows exactly what I'm going to do, report them to the Revdex.com, so he's going to report me first. Well Thank you Mr. H[redacted] for putting the Revdex.com in my head. I was going to go that far, I really wanted to go through the chain of command. But, you made me escalate this to the highest level. Mr. H[redacted] You have yourself to blame. He wanted me to just accept No the first time and not request a second time for a refund. Unfortunately if you are not using a service because of uncontrollable circumstance I guess you can't and shouldn't find a way to recoup your loss. I am at a loss not only because of the fire, but because of ICS. Hopefully someone will read this before choosing this company to service them as a Merchant Service Company. Both thumbs down to this Company. I could say more but, I will let whatever happens happen.Desired Settlement: I am requesting a refund, but at this point it is not necessary. I do not wish to be contacted by this company ever again. They have bad business practices.

Response:

Merchant contacted Merchant Account Solutions on August 18, 2015 (which is not 4 months ago) and was provided with contact number for the cancellation department as they were closed during the time frame merchant called into customer service. The merchant has provided conflicting information, the only other contact was October 13, 2015. At this time merchant was provided with proper closing procedure and advised to complete as soon as possible to terminate service without any termination fees. It is unfortunate the merchant experienced a fire, we are not responsible for merchants failure and lack of responsibility to reconcile their accounts to notify us of termination request. Merchant Account Solutions provided service to accept credit cards and were not informed of their issue until October 2015. This case has been addressed outside the Revdex.com and refunds have been denied as services were provided and actively used. Other reports state the merchants business has been actively operating and accepting credit cards with another provider. Account will remain open until merchant completes and submits proper closing procedure that have been provided, any and all fees accumulated during the active and open state of the account are and will be valid until closing procedures have been completed.

I am rejecting this response because: August 18th was not the first contact to said company. Said company has a 1800 number that answers all call, then you are transfer to their 1866 number. Please ask them about the message I left for the person that handles my account, explaining the situation as far a my business having a fire and me not using their services because of the fire. Also yes it is unfortunate that there was a fire, but how can you pass judgment on me as far as my responsibility for my account being reconciled when in fact all of my files were destroyed in the fire. But, shame on your company for passing judgment, and I have all of my statements from the incident to show any one who request it that there were no activities from me on your machine. You also charge me an annual fee which is for the year moving forward and yet still I didn't use the service 3 months prior and thus afterwards. Shame on you. This is a company that has misused their authority, and good business practices. Also the account closing information that was sent to me prior to today was that in January as per Mr. An[redacted], which is 2 months prior to the fire. So, that information is null and void of this conversation. The period in question is from June 3 on so in essence it is more than 4 months. If my information is conflicting please have them pull the recordings of all my conversations and all time I've called. I too can request my phone records for the times I've called your company.

Review: RE:MERCHANT ACCOUNT SOLUTIONSBelow are facts about a company that goes by the name of Merchant Account Solutions doing business in California that commits fraudulent acts. On my Apple Phone was an App, called Smart Swipe. I proceeded to go into the App. thinking it was similar to the Square App. I went through the prompts and came upon the agreement segment which I now realize was not properly disclosed. It was one page and they did not say anything about entering into a three year contract. Also, the agreement did not state my company would have to commit to sales using their application that must average between $800.00 - $1000.00 dollars per month or I would be charged $25.00. The agreement I viewed on the phone did not disclosed I would have to pay a fee at all. Nevertheless, I wanted to ask more questions, but could not reach them. I then became very concerned, but went on with business as usual. A few days later they called and said welcome to using our product. After talking with them a few minutes and the person on the phone explained there would be a monthly charge, I quickly declined and explained to them I did not want to use their services because of the monthly charge and would not be entering into a contract with them. I thought this matter was over, until I received by mail a statement from them stating they took $32.90 from my business account. The money came out of the account on August 3, 2015. I immediately made contact with them using the number from their letter head statement.I called the number (800) 324-9825 and eventually spoke to a man by the name of Anthony, who appears to be running the show. He was very rude and refused to give me a refund. He said I would have to pay $545 to get out of contract. According to Secretary of State the company has been suspended by the Franchise Tax Board. I reported them to the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau and I will be filing a law suit if this is not resolved.Desired Settlement: I would like to be assured Merchant Account Solutions will inform ipayment Inc. to immediately cease withdrawing money from my checking account. I would like to be refunded the $32.90. I never received equipment. I never entered a legal contract because it was not disclosed to me. They ignored time period.

In response to this merchants complaint, below we will list

out a timeline and chain of events that took place within this particular

scenario if effort to provide clarity and closure to this claim

On 6/10/2015 at 11:01 PM this merchant went into our

Smartswipe Mobile Application, downloaded and applied for the services in

question. As mentioned by Ms. L[redacted] in the complaint detail she downloaded our

app with the expectation of us being similar to a different organization,

(which may be the original issue) notwithstanding, the complaint listed many

details but left out a few important steps during the application process - for

instance, our Smartswipe Mobile App requests pertinent information to be

entered in prior to application submission, these steps include but are not

Review: During the month of March 2015, I bought a Square card reader for my phone from Walgreens for the amount of $10. This little white square card reader is from a company called Integrated Card systems. When downloaded the App to my phone, I was instructed to call a phone number to complete signing on. The phone number was ###-###-####. This was the phone number to ICS (Integrated Card Systems).

! was directed to someone named [redacted]. It was later suggested to me that it was [redacted] NEVER made it clear to me that he was, in fact, working for a different company called Merchant Account Solutions (MAS). [redacted] continued to ask me for my information and continued to allow me to think I was still signing up for the ICS square card reader.

At one point, [redacted] told me he was going to send me a different card reader. I told him I already bought one for myself and I was just trying to sign on for THAT app. Every time I asked more direct questions, [redacted] deliberately changed the subject or answered vaguely. [redacted] did call me frequently during this time. I remember in one of our conversations, [redacted] told me 1 could use the MAS card reader with my own ICS App. I found this was not true.

[redacted] NEVER disclosed that the MAS card reader would require a monthly fee. But he did say I was given an “approved discount Rate.” Later, I realized that $35.90 was taken out of my business account from MAS. I called back and was directed to Benjamin Hahn, the after sales representative. His phone number is ###-###-####. Please note the phone number is different from the given ICS phone number. He claimed signed a contract and that he was actually looking at it. I asked him to email it to me or send it to me because honestly had no recollection of signing a contract with them. He mentioned he didn't like having to jump through hoops but that he would. He never sent me a

????.

I told Benjamin Hahn I didn't want the MAS card reader. It wasn't working with the ICS app. I told him I never wanted it to begin with. He sent me a closure form where he noted he would charge me $545 to close the account early. He was still forcing me into believing I had signed a contract with them and that it would be considered an early closeout.

When I called him back, he insisted I never asked for a copy of my contract and that it wasn't in his notes. In my opinion, he was stalling. He reduced the terms of my account to $19.95 per month rather than $35.90 and that the new length of service would be 1 year, rather than 3 years, but that he was still not going to let me out of this, regardless that it was never what I wanted to begin with. After this conversation, he STILL never sent me a copy of my supposed signed contract.

After that my husband tried to call and speak to him on my behalf. He told my husband he thought we were trying to be selfish by wanting out of the company. Don't forget 1 only got inadvertently involved with MAS because was originally just trying to sign up with my ICS little white $10 square card reader. I would have NEVER sought out MAS.

Finally, on June 22, 2015, I sent Benjamin Hahn a formal written email request for a copy of this supposed signed contract. He answered saying he would forward my request and that I should get an

answer soon. It has been a week now with NO answer and No copy of contract.

It is my belief that MAS deliberately intercepted my original phone call to ICS, in order to generate a commission and profit for themselves. I find THIS selfish and illegal and at the very least, unethical.

it is interesting to note, also, that I have of never been able to successfully sign up to my ICS little square card reader after all this. This is what I wanted from the beginning.

I am sending back the MAS card reader.

Note: Since the time of this writing, two of my friends called the ICS and MAS phone numbers. Each of them were offered entirely different deals and quoted entirely different prices from MAS. I have a written account of their discussions.

I will be filing this report with the FCC and the California AND Florida States Attorney General Office as well as the Revdex.com. We discovered there were numerous, similar complaints on the Revdex.com Website.

Please investigate this MAS company.Desired Settlement: Cancel account

Our Legal Business Name is International Card Service (ICS), our doing business name as is Merchant Account Solutions. The following phone number ###-###-#### is our number for our mobile processing applications available for download on both Apple App Store and Android's Google Play Store. Merchant downloaded the following mobile application "Credit Card Reader" which does not in anyway state "Square" or "Integrated Card Systems" it state Merchant Account Solutions on March 25, 2015 at 2:59 pm PST. After downloading mobile application merchant contacted the number on the mobile application###-###-#### and wanted to complete credit card reader activation and was connected to one of our representatives named Russell not "[redacted]". Merchant was advised both of our company names and that we are not affiliated with "Square", merchant still wished to continue with services and was emailed our Merchant Processing Application. Merchant completed application with all their business information, business owner information, how much they process in credit card and how they accept payments. Application was completed and all terms and conditions which had all fees associated with the services requested were agreed to via digital signature which is embedded with the merchants IP address 74.167.170.71. Merchant was contacted by our installation team to complete installation with a test transaction. Merchant then called in to have account cancelled on May 7th, 2015 stating they had not requested services was advised of contract and was provided with courtesy adjustment on existing contract to assist with merchant confusion and again explained the application process and services requested, merchant agreed to new service fees and contract length. Merchant states they have returned equipment, as of July 15th, 2015, equipment has not been received at our location. Agreements is available upon request, please call ###-###-#### Ext 124.

Review: I feel like I was deceived when signing up for their services. Verbally I asked several times about fees and was lied to. I have not used their services and want to cancel due to the fact I felt I was mislead. They want to charge me $500.00 to cancel the service and refuse any fault in the dishonesty in signing me up.Desired Settlement: I want to be released from the contract without termination fees. They have billed my checking $8.79 which I am willing to overlook.

Review: This company preys on consumers. They withold contract information and demand cancellations fees of different amounts even if the product was never used. Deplorable customer service once they realize that you are trying to terminate services or want to read into what they trapped you into. I have recorded calls and saved emails where reps have demeaned me and bullied me. I often wondered why anyone would stay or use their product after being treated horribly. I researched and found many complaints on them.Desired Settlement: Since I never used this product, activated my account and no longer have the initial business I would like no further involvement with this company. The alleged draft contract they sent me as proof of my 3 year service contract has inaccuracies, it's labeled a draft and has information that was not presented to me at the time I inquired about the mobile app over my phone. This had been under a month and on the draft contract which seems to have been drafted the day it was sent to me.
