Brian did a great job of diagnosing our furnace problem. He was prompt, courteous, knowledgeable and I had complete confidence in him. Thank you, Michael & Son, for hiring him and training him!

Michael & Son Services, Inc. is THE BEST! It seems like there is nothing they cannot do. Mathew called a half hour before arriving. He had a big smile and warm greeting as he explained what he would be doing outside on my generator. He recommended a surge protector and explained why it would be a good idea for me. He cleaned up after himself and worked quickly with a positive attitude.

If no reason is received your complaint will be closed Administratively Resolved] Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because: We only signed a contract with Michael & Son.  We did not sign a contract with [redacted].  We only wanted our air conditioner fixed.  Michael & Son told us over the phone that we needed to replace our air conditioning system and our furnace, which was only 9 years old, without even checking to see if the a-coil could be replaced.  We also have found out that there are still R22 air conditioners being sold which Michael & Son did not inform us that this was an option.  We should not have had to replace the furnace.  We were told by Michael & Son that they had a subcontractor who was experienced in installing oil fired furnaces and they would be the people doing the installation as Michael & Son did not install oil furnaces.  We did not sign a separate contract with [redacted] as it was stated on Michael & Son's contract that [redacted] would be installing it.  In order to protect thems[redacted] Michael & Son had us write a separate check to [redacted] for their services and is now trying to make that our contract with [redacted].  Again we did not choose [redacted] to do the installation nor did we have the intention of replacing our furnace. Efficient and friendly diagnosis of my plumbing issue (leak coming through 1st floor ceiling). Troy was careful to cause as little damage to my ceiling as possible to look for the leak, and immediately consulted his HVAC colleagues once it looked as though it could be an issue with condensation in my heat pump system.
Cleaned everything up afterword, and checked in later to make sure the issue was being followed up properly. Great experience

[redacted] did speak with Vance S[redacted] the 20th of October. An agreement was reached to refund him $492.56, but it was explained to him that he needed to sign our Release of Liability form that was sent to him before a refund could be issued. The form was sent the same day that Mr. S[redacted] spoke to [redacted], but it was never signed and returned back to Michael and Son Services. The form was resent again today. Once he signs the release of liability, we will begin the refund process. As of this moment, his refund is pending.

The plumber, Daniel, sent by Michael and Son, came right on time (and had notified me when he was on the way). He went over the work he would do and answered questions I had about other possible work in the future. He was polite, efficient, and knowledgeable. He explained each step in the process. He informed me when he had run into a situation with the pipes that would raise the estimated price. It was obvious he was working hard. The pipes in the house are old. I appreciated his positive attitude and his efforts to fix the problem. The drain is working better now than it has in the past 24 years.

Recently I used the services of Joey G[redacted] and electrician with Michael and Sons. Joey was prompt, knowlegable, thorough, very professional and polite. He serviced my Generac generator and is an outstanding young man.

Neville made an emerg generator annual checkup at my house on Sept 8. He was on time, courteous, knowledgable and efficient. This was my first experience w/ Michael & Son. Based upon the excellent work of Neville, I changed my contract w/ the company from the originally scheduled 'one-time' visit to a 2 year service contract.

My experience with the serviceman was of the quality I have come to expect from Michael & Son.

Victor was courteous and direct. Noted my problem, recommended a solution, and completed the work within 30 minutes. I am satisfied with the results.

Vance,I appreciate your quick response.I'm a little confused by the following lines, "In order for us to refund your money at 100% we had to reduce the cost incurred for members only. However, we did not take any funds away from your current daily membership rate. In turn, you are receiving your $389 and the balance left over is what we are proposing to send to you".Can you please confirm how much I am being refunded and how the refund will take place? $389?For example; Are you mailing me a check?  If yes, what is the approximate date the check will be mailed?

Once again, I had a great experience with Michael and Son. Chris P. was professional and very informative. He also gave me plenty of notice on his estimated arrival time. From the initial call to schedule the service to the completion of the repair it was a great experience. I would recommend their services highly.

We had excellent service from Corey P. of Michael and Sons Services. He was punctual, professional, knowledgeable and efficient and you can't ask for much more than that! He fixed the problem and offered insight into a few other issues that I asked him about in a very helpful manner. We were delighted with his service and would ask for him again. Thanks very much.
