Dwayne called 30 minutes before arriving and arrived during the timeframe that I was given. He listened to the water pressure issue we were having with all facets with hot water only, then he checked out each bathroom taking the time to problem shoot in each bathroom. He checked hot water tank and then thoroughly explained the issue and recommendations to resolve issue. He gave price quote for remedying the issue and also explained all in his notes so that my husband could understand the issue. He gave a price quote for replacing kitchen faucet which was leaking. We are very happy with the timely service of Michael & Son and for the experienced professionals like Dwayne D.

Todd K. came to repair our unit on a Sunday. He was competently able to resolve our problem. In addition, he thoroughly explained all the details to us and addressed all of our concerns. Todd made sure that our unit was working efficiently and to our satisfaction. He answered all of our questions and was helpful, polite, and professional. Our home climate is comfortable once again. Thanks for such great service! Todd is the best!!

long term fix and not a general replacement of a part. Michael & Son has been serving customers since 1976 and our practice has been to service customer’s needs and not overcharge customers.

Michael M. replaced an outdoor spigot and the garbage disposal. He thoroughly explained his actions before, during, and after the jobs were completed. I will definitely ask for Michael if I experience any plumbing issues.

Requested a technician to preform a diagnostic on our A/C and Heat Pump unit. We had received a coupon to get a free diagnostic. The technician informed us this coupon does not qualify for the work preformed. When asking why a free diagnostic coupon doesn't qualify on a diagnostic, he failed to answer or give any evidence. When the inspection was preformed, Michael and Son attempted to charge us or parts and labor that was not approved. As we instructed the technician to remove items he installed and retrieve us the quotes on repairing or replacing the units as originally requested, the company came back with the inappropriate repairs to fix the unit and the wrong size and style unit to replace our old one. We had two additional company's perform the same diagnostic "for free" and come back with appropriate repairs and replacement options. When two competing company's agree with one another and also come to the same result as us, that Michael and Son has given the wrong solutions for both repair and replacement. After showing the evidence of Micheal and Son's failure to provide proper quotes and perform quality work. They only told us it is a matter of opinion and will not refund any amount back to us. Also after further research the company has a three times higher failure rating of their new unit installs and repairs compared to any other company.

Jonathan at Michael & Son Charlotte was very professional and was able to answer my questions in detail. He was quick to fix the problem and very helpful. Would recommend.

Aaron G. replaced three toilets for me. He was very professional and it was clear that he knew what he was doing. Floors were covered, there was no mess and the old appliances were taken away. I was really happy with the job and Aaron's excellent explanation of everything he was doing and why.

Every interaction I had with Michael & Sons regarding their Home Care Service plan was pleasant.
My technician Robert was very professional, courteous and efficient. I was thoroughly satisfied with Robert.

He was given a refund of $109.50, which was  half of the total. Had the AC/Heat Pump checked today by Michael &Sons Services. I must say the tech. Carlos J[redacted] was courteous, polite, conscientious and very helpful!

concern. Michael and Son Services were given the approval to begin work of fire
restoration on November 20, 2014. Due to the fire some of the customer’s
personal items and furniture were damaged upon our arrival. The next day we

soot chemical cleaning in our customer’s home.  We informed the customer that a whole home pack
out would need to be done in order for us to complete the chemical cleaning. We
referred a company to our customer to assist in the pack out of his furniture,
the clothing items were packed out by another company that we referred our
customer to as well. The company that packed out the furniture misplaced the
keys from the lock box. Our customer made us aware of the misplaced keys on
Friday and wanted us to change the locks on the door for the safety of his
family. The customer states that it took 72 hours to have someone come out and
change the locks; that is because the referred company services
on Monday –Friday.  On Monday the locks were changed at no expense to the customer. After
work was completed by Michael and Son the customer moved back into the home and
had some requests that as a courtesy we offered to perform although it was not
part of our initial scope of work. Our Restoration Manager Troy went out to the
customer’s home and the customer stated that he was happy with the cleaning and
everything looked great.  On December 21st
2014 our customer was concerned about the cleaning of his garments. He stated
that some items were not restored to his satisfaction.  As a courtesy we contacted the garment
restoration company [redacted] and they agreed to pick up these set items and re
clean. The customer made us aware that some items had not been returned and
provided us a list of items. We sent the list to [redacted] they informed us that
everything was returned successfully. The customer came into our office and
requested we compensate him for missing items. Michael and Son
Services do not believe that we should be held liable for missing contents
since we had no involvement in removing 
or returning these set items. Michael and Son sent this to our Insurance
Company and they advised our customer to contact [redacted] Insurance for
requested reimbursement of alleged unreturned items. Michael and Son Services
have completed scope of work that we were serviced to do and there is a
remaining balance of $2,881.39. We have only tried to assist our customer with
his concerns but we strongly advise the customer to contact [redacted]. Please
close this matter as satisfied.

Sean K. came out to inspect my electrical panel and give me an estimate on replacing it and getting a heavy-up. He was very thorough in looking through my house, gave me an explanation of all the changes that would be required and any ancillary repairs that might be needed, suggested additional things I might want to do in conjunction though not required, and answered all of my questions comprehensively. He was great! I can't wait to have him do my heavy-up!

Morgan B. from Michael & Son Norfolk came to check my furnace. He was efficient, friendly, and took pictures to show me exactly what was wrong with it. When it came to me needing to replace, he was easily available even after our appointment to answer additional questions I had regarding the choices available. He worked with me to find financing to make the job affordable for my budget. Down-to-earth and professional, great service.

I was very impressed by the knowledge, professionalism and courtesy of Mr. Trai W. when he recently installed a new toilet for me. He assessed the problem and gave me several alternatives for fixing it; the choice was left up to me. After choosing an alternative, he proceeded to fix the problem in an expeditious and proficient manner.

Showed up on time. Professional, clean, always put clean cover over shoes before entering. Came prepared and corrected a water pressure regulator that was no longer working by replacing it. Pipes no longer make noise.
