James Sperformed a free plumbing inspection after he replaced my kitchen sink drains to accommodate a larger garbage disposal I installed Upon seeing that my water heater was years old, he discussed replacement options with me Having had a water heater fail and cause damage in the past, I decided to replace the unit James returned at the agreed upon day/time and installed a new gallon gas heated tank with a drain-connected pan, two shut-off valves, an expansion tank, and an alarm He kept me informed during each step of the process and carefully cleaned up after he was finished I'm very pleased with his work and highly recommend Michael & Sons to anyone needing plumbing assistance

Great experience with my technician Timely and very thorough This company always does a great job with providing quality services within my local area

I am totally impressed with the work that the plumber Tdid, and with smoothness of Michael and Son's operationThey gave me options relating to when I wanted/needed a plumber, and then a time slot, as well as suggesting that the year-old cut off valve to the toilet be replaced The plumber called and fine-tuned his ETA When he arrived, he parked around the corner so as not to knock down some low-hanging branches over my driveway, which meant more carrying of gear for him He gave me an estimate after checking things out and discussing with me what steps I had taken All good; he was done in about half an hour Especially important to me, besides his competence, is the fact that he was obviously Good Folk, the kind of guy you can trust around your house or your wife if she is there alone I have had numerous Techs from Michael and Son, and all of them have been competent and trustworthy They're great!

Thank you for allowing us to respond to this concernWe made many attempts to help this customer and she was willing to allow help but later claim we failed to call her and assist her with return calls
Michael & Son asked the manager of the area to make
contact and he left messages and they were never returned.
We made several attempts to clean her rugs and according to the carpet company it was successful
Nothing other contact has been made and we feel this matter should be closed as resolved

The maintenance technician, Reggie Fwas very professional and thorough in servicing my unitHe explained every aspect of the maintenance he had to perform and why it was necessary for proper functioning of the unitThanks for the great service!

My heat went out on Christmas Day and Morgan came all the way from Elizabeth City to fix it He discovered what was broken, replaced it quickly and had the heat back on within an hour Great job!

We identified that the customer had a concern with his unit, which based on our way of doing business as stated in the first response the price difference would have gone to $to $If we needed to repair the unit at whatever cost would have been assessed, in addition to the $89.00 Most Customers will hire another service company and they will come in and do the work based on the way that they do business, but based on the outcome of the other service company we would have resolved it the same wayEach company has their own travel fees and our company is no different and this was the reason for our cost for being in the customer's home If he would like for us to assist him with this matter we will be more than happy to come over and do a full assessment on his unit to make sure that everything is working as it shouldThe cost for this would be $otherwise we would like to close this concern as satisfied. I would like to make comments about my experience with Matthew B*** at Michael & Son - Richmond He was a very professional, very nice and knew a lot about his job He was very helpful with our purchase of a new Carrier ton heat pump I would rate him a out of Star employee!

Our encounter with Ahmed B*** was a pleasurable experience He was very professional and offered tips that would help us in the future He also offered advice on how to maintain a dry basement He cleaned up all the mess that was made due to our water problem with ease and removed all the heavy wet carpet and padding with no problem My wife and I wee very comfortable and happy with MrB***'s servicesThank you,

Excellent representativeThorough, knowledgeable, explained the whats/whys, showed me his findings and how he improved upon them(Would make a great teacher, but hopefully MS will make sure he stays a part of their staff!)

On several occasions, my mother called Michael & Son for plumbing services Recently, she called about a leaking water heater Shaw Treplaced the valve and the leak stopped She will use him again when the need arises Keep up the good work

Thank you for allowing us to reply to our customer's concernOn Jan 6th we fixed a frozen pipe for *** ***, which came with a year warranty on parts and laborIn addition, the notes stated that the exterior walls are not properly insulated which caused the pipe to freeze and burstIt
also states that if it is properly insulated that it will prevent her pipes from freezing in the futureOn January 8th a call was taken by our CSR rep in which customer stated her pipe had burst again.We we were prepared to come out and take down the cabinets as well as insulate her pipes correctly since the spray foam insulation didnt appear to protect the pipesThe customer insulated the pipes herself Please see attached picture, sent to us from the customer. She told us that she would call the Condo Association to pull down the cabinets and would call us back We believe that our customer was fully taken care of more than a year ago, and we were prepared to handle her concern the day the call was receivedPlease close this concern out as satisfiedThank you

I am rejecting this response because:The offer that Michael offered was 10% off of the cost to wrap the outside duct Our main consern has always been that we were not advised initially by Michael and Son of the possibility that the duct should be wrapped thereby giving us a chance to decide to have the duct wrapped or have a new furnace installedAlso even with this new quote there was never a breakdown submitted of labor vs materials If Michael and Son refuses to do anything else, we would like to file a formal complaint (on the record)It is our intent to elevate this complaint so it becomes more visible Thank you*** ***Trustee, Second Church of GodNew Jersey AveWashington, DC
