Always reliable and thorough. Have had maintenance account with them for 10 years.

Michael & Sons is a very efficient, professional company. I've had an electrician and plumber to my house for repairs. If they don't fix the problem, they will return and get the job done with no additional costs. I like the fact that the same electrician and plumber comes each time. They will also email a picture of the technician that will be coming to your house. Nice touch.
What I don't care for is the intense follow-up. They call after a service and will keep calling until they reach you. And, they will also email. I little too much pressure. I think they are a reputable company and don't need to pester they customers for feedback.

I am rejecting this response because:  Michael & Son Services have not addressed my concern.  My complaint and concern is whether the heat pump system is installed properly.  If Michael & Son Services is saying that their installation of the unit without an expansion valve and without performance of an evaluation of the air ducting system in the mobile home is what constitutes proper installation, then this must be the standard of work delivered by this company.  If in fact it is proper installation and industry standard to omit the expansion valve and not necessary to review the ducting system prior to installing such a unit, then they must state this fact.  Michael & Son Services make it appear as if my issue is about parts and the cost to have the stuck reversing valve fixed.  But the focus of my concern has been and still is whether the unit was properly installed.  As I am sure they are aware, proper installation according to manufacturer's recommendations impacts the proper performance of this system.

David was on time and very professional. He explained the dispatch fee and diagnostic fee for my electrical problem and then proceeded to offer several possible solutions at different prices. advantages and disadvantages of each option was clearly explained. He also inquired about the age of my smoke detectors and offered to replace them while he was here. Since I had replaced one hardwired unit already, and it wasn't an easy job, I was glad to have him do it for me.

During my recent estimate, Deonte was prompt, thorough and very courteous. He answered all questions and was very professional.

This is the first step to getting his concern resolved. We do not know the exact answer to his complaint with out having the county to come out view the concerns that he has.

Have used Michael & Sons before. As always, they service was first rate. Jason, my technician, was courteous and professional. Would highly recommend them for all your electrical and plumbing needs.

Troy was a great plumber. He provided excellent services to my family. His work was unremarkable. He was very helpful and willing to go above and beyond. Thank you for ur services.

Just recently (last week or so), Dwyne from Michael &Sons came to fix an ongoing problem I continue to have with my kitchen sink. I explained to him what happened and how many times I called M&S over to fix the same problem. Dwayne D. was very attentive to my problem and very determined to get to the bottom of the problem that day. After process of elimination, he resolved the issue. I was very happy with the solution and I hope I do not have to call M&S back for the same thing. Dwayne D. was very professional, patient and eager to get the problem fixed and was determined to leave my house and leave a smile on my face. Thank You Dwayne for the excellent service!

Fast, efficient & professional!

Tony came out and installed new kitchen faucet and energy saving shower
heads in my bathrooms. He is very courteous and efficient. He did not
pressure me into extra services. Only asked what needed doing. He made
sure everything was top notch before he left. I would give him a A++ if I could.
I will definitely ask for him again when I need more plumbing.

We love Michael & Son.They are easy to contact...always available. Getting an appointment is convenient: you don't have to wait long and the appointment windows are narrower than a lot of other companies. The technicians are always prompt, efficient, polite & friendly.They always do a complete inspection or fix the problem completely.

Corey was professional and solved my electrical issue. He checked other electrical systems in my house to make sure they were safe--at no cost. I would highly recommend Michael and Son Services and ask for Corey Pryka.

The tech was very informative on different ways to fix our problem. He was on time and made sure no issues were happening after the repair was completed. If I called again for another electrical issue I would ask for him.

We purchased a generator on 10-29-16 and called Michael and Son's of Raleigh to come and wire it into the house. For the initial inspection appointment, my husband came home from work to be there to speak with the tech himself to ensure everything was the way he wanted it. The tech Brent/Bett advised what kind of electrical box we would need and ordered the part. I then receive a phone call from Michael and Son's advising the incorrect part was ordered and that they would need to order the correct one and reschedule our appointment. The next appointment was on 11-23-16, which my husband TOOK OFF from work to be there in case there were any problems, questions or concerns that may arise. When the tech Brent/Brett shows up on 11-23-16, he advises my husband that AGAIN, the wrong part was ordered and that he would be unable to complete our installation. At this point, my blood is BOILING and I call Michael and Son's to speak with someone. I was connected to the electrical manager Jason M[redacted] to whom I explained our entire ordeal up to this point. He assured me that he would personally look into this situation and assured me that once everything was complete that he would discount our service for all the inconvenience we have endured. On our next scheduled appointment which was 1-7-17, I called and asked to speak with Jason M[redacted] again, to ensure that both him and the tech take out all the parts to make sure these were correct, only to find out Jason was no longer there. I was connected to another manger, Lou, to whom I had to AGAIN explain the ENTIRE situation ALL OVER AGAIN. Why don't they document customer's calls and issue's so we don't have to continue to repeat our concerns??? Our next rescheduled appointment was on 1-7-17, however, this was the day of the snow/ice storm in Wake and Johnston county, so yet again, our appointment was rescheduled as the tech was unable to make it out to our house. The last appointment was on 1-16-17, in which we FINALLY got our generator installed. Once the install was complete, I called and left a voicemail for Lou, to which I have YET to receive a phone call back. I called Lou again on 1-23-17, with another voicemail left. So, from 11-1-16 to 1-23-17, Michael and Son's show they don't care about their customer's, guess they only want the $1,850 from us for the generator install. This is the WORST EXPERIENCE EVER and we will NEVER do business with them again!!!!!!!

My husband and I have been using Michael and Son for a long time. We were under their Home Care Plan which allowed additional benefits. They have provided excellent service over the years. We never had to wait a long time for them to arrive, sometimes they came the same day. They also sent professionals that was knowledgeable, courteous, friendly, and accommodating to our needs.

I called about some plumbing issues and Matt S[redacted] was sent to my house. He did the repairs efficiently and neatly, and afterward did a whole-house plumbing check. He found that one of my hot water heaters was in very bad shape. (It was quite old.) He then replaced it on the same visit and hauled away the old one. I think he saved me from a big mess - the old one looked ready to start leaking at any time. He was friendly, pleasant, and skilled. The next time I need a plumber, I will be sure to ask for Matt.

We requested to have 4 new light fixtures installed in our kitchen. Along with removing an old fixture. Our electrician explained all our options before giving us a price. We agreed with the estimate and all the work was done very efficiently, with no problems at all.
All the work was completed with no problems. Jose E did a great job. We have used Michael & Son on twice in the past with very happy results. Would gladly reccomend them to anyone.
