Subaru of Fort Wayne will not be issuing a refund Thank you for your time in this matter.Gene DavisGeneral Manager

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that the response would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below The employee of this dealer continued to lie and dishonest practice I had not received any call from her/him, hence, I am unable to response Looks like they are trying to give me a hard time and unwilling to refund me the amount even though their response saying willing to refund me the amount What are they trying to do??In fact it was the technician of this dealer that was incompetent when they replaced the warranty floor carpet in the previous invoice; and busted the plastic clips hidden under the plastic flapThat was why the plastic flap came off easily and triggered this complaint.I think the employee attending my complaint stop playing games, and truly contacted me rather than to be arrogant since they are the only Honda dealer in town and force me to call them directly to get my money backI am wondering the dealer is really sincere to return my money Regards, [redacted] ***

Craig I have spoken to the customer [redacted] and explained that when we processed paper work we asked, who is going to be on the titlework and who is going to be regestering the vehicle? Unfortunatley we can not pursuade their spouses to get on title work and or financial paperwork if they showed no interest in doing so I am getting her some oil changes to offset the cost of she is incurring, since she can not use the plate from old vehicle since her wife is not on new financial work Jim V [redacted] General ManagerFort wayne nissan260-484-

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that the response would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below Sam was the one I worked with for several months about the switches and there was no documentation on that eitherAs a certified Mitsubishi center I would expect them to know how the process worksAll of the miscommunication and misunderstanding is what got us into this situationAs a consumer I should not have to call one a week for two months to get a part ordered if it was coveredAnd when I went in to get the switches replaced and they looked at the exhaust and noticed it was a heat shield Sam stated that they couldn't weld or clamp it because the warranty states they have to replace the whole unitI am now being told that is not the caseAs a manager I recommend your representatives have proper training on how to figure these things outWhen I spoke with Mitsubishi directly she was shocked that I had experience because they have a hotline to answer warranty questions such as this Regards, [redacted]

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined the response would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.Hello,Thank you for passing along the business's reply to my complaintThe business has not resolved my issue or made a reasonable attempt to solve my problemThis can not be the first time you are hearing about the issue with the account swapWhen I came in to get my oil changed (which as I mentioned [redacted] Toyota told me that Bob Rohrman robbed me of), I brought along paper trails very clearly showing that Bob Rohrman screwed up by putting my dad's information about his service on my accountThis paper trail was given to me by [redacted] Toyota where they even made notes explaining all of the errors Rob Rohrman causedThey were the ones who told me that I should be dissatisfied with the faulty service I received from BR and ask it get fixedWhen I came to Lafayette I brought along hard copies of these papers to transfer the information from my account and correct it by putting it on my dad's accountThis should have been brought to your attention and fixed alreadyFrom your reply I can see it was not completed [redacted] Toyota also informed me this issue with the account never would have happened if Bob Rohrman would have looked up my dad's information using the car's VIN number, as they are supposed toBob Rhorman took NO responsibility for not giving me the oil change I should have hadAn error on their part as I mentioned in my original complaint, Which caused me to have to drive an hour and minutes to Lafayette from Indianapolis to finally get that and then backThey also only did this after my dad called multiple times and asked for a manager and kept having to explain their mistakeAs for mentioning there were cameras, this is a complete lieThere is not much to say here expect for that my dad was never offered to see footageIf the footage truly exists then we both would like to see it, to prove that the scratch was already thereThere is no possible way a scratch like that was already there as a number of people can confirm that morning even that it was notI would love to see the security footageMy dad walked out angry, as Trey completely lied about seeing the scratchAs I mentioned in the original complaint he did not even get into work until well after my dad was there so there was no way for him to see the car prior to the serviceTrey, before you blindly decided that Toyota didn't cause the scratch did you ever even consider the possibility that they did? Why else would a customer go through the hassle of filing a complaint and contacting the business multiple timesTrust me, we don't like it as much as you don'tIf I wanted money from Bob Rohrman I could have asked for compensation for the oil change mix up or having to drive all the way to Lafayette and back for it, but I did notI only want what is fair, which is the scratch that the service person caused fixed. It is SO evident that this place doesn't want to acknowledge any of their faults and mistakesOne lie after another, without any effort to fix the issues, causing a huge hassle and headache for the customers Regards, [redacted] ***

Revdex.com and Gene D [redacted] from SubaruIn response to Gene D***’s explanation: The only person that ever called me, ***, from Subaru was Melissa the title clerk because the title to my new Subaru was missing and it was me that initiated that call I went to the DMV to pay the registration for my Subaru and was told there wasn’t any title for the carMelissa returned my call to tell me the title was missing and that is the ONLY call I EVER received from Subaru We didn’t even know there was any other issue with the cost of the Chrysler until NOVEMBER when [redacted] called me and my mother about no payments Subaru never contacted us about the payment issue We contacted them after hearing from *** At that point my mom got her lawyer involved and it became a legal matter with ***’s Attorney’s Jones and Obenchain When Joe D [redacted] tried calling [redacted] to talk with them [redacted] told Joe that because of the legalities of this he could only talk to the mother, ***, because of her lawyer being involved SO, Joe D [redacted] knew all along that no calls were made to [redacted] and all calls went through *** So if Joe told Gene D [redacted] that [redacted] wouldn’t talk to them or take his calls he is lying All of Joe D***’s phone calls are documented in the statement attached to the Revdex.com complaint At no time did I or my mother state that the balance was $and when [redacted] got Joe D [redacted] a statement in December from [redacted] and it showed $at no time was Joe told it was all DUE to late fees Joe was told that the balance INCLUDES late fees and penalties since he hadn’t done anything about this issue with the Chrysler payment from September to JanuaryAgain, we did not know the balance of the car when we talked about trading it in on 9/4/ My mother has traded in cars in her lifetime at different dealerships The Financial Manager at those dealerships always took care of getting the balance due, taking off the trade in agreement and working the rest into the loan Why was this never done at Subaru? Gene D [redacted] attached a form to the Revdex.com complaint titled “Estimated” showing that [redacted] signed the form stating the balance was $ I, ***, have NEVER seen this form before A copy of said form is NOT included in my packet of paperwork from Subaru and the signature looks copied from another document [redacted] had her lawyer look at the document compared to all the other signed documents and they don’t match In addition, the document isn’t legal because it isn’t completely filled out and the other owner of the car (***) knew nothing about it and wasn’t made to sign it Also, why wasn’t this form brought up to anyone long before this complaint was initiated My mother’s lawyer has been talking with [redacted] ’s lawyers ( [redacted] ) since this all began My mother’s lawyer has put in a message to [redacted] Credit Union’s lawyer to find out if what Gene D [redacted] is saying is true, that they paid off the car and made an agreement with [redacted] to accept $in exchange for the Title I’m sorry my posting took a little longer I had to verify with my lawyer and with [redacted] that the $payment was made by Subaru and that the check cleared the account I spoke with MsB [redacted] this morning 1/23/and she verified that they did receive it and it has cleared I am accepting closure of this complaint, but if anything else happens with Subaru will proceed with legal action or another Revdex.com complaint Thank you Revdex.com for all of your help in this matter, Sincerely [redacted] Regards, [redacted]

Mr [redacted] lives in New York, where his vehicle is subject to excessive amounts of snow and saltHis vehicle has over 200,miles on it As stated before, the tech felt the reason for the check engine light was on was because of the code we were getting due to a fuel issue The reason for getting air in the fuel system is a bad gasket The tech removed the fuel pump and noticed a crack in the fuel line We called Mr [redacted] to let him know what we found and because it was not the original diagnosis, Mr [redacted] felt we were responsibleMr [redacted] asked that we stop work on the vehicle and that he was having it towed to another facility His vehicle was not inoperable, we suggested that he have it repaired prior to driving If Mr [redacted] feels that we damaged his vehicle, then he can file a claim with his insurance company and the will contact our insurance company Gene D***

We received a complaint from both the BBB and the Indiana Attorney General with regards to a vehicle repair. The customer, [redacted] reached out to me with some concerns relating to the repair. Mr. [redacted] states that his vehicle was damaged during repair. I passed his concerns along to Jason H [redacted] , our Service Manager. Jason offered to resolve his concerns, but Mr. [redacted] refused any assistance. Mr. [redacted] filed complaints with both the BBB and Attorney General. We responded to the complaint with the BBB and Mr. [redacted] is not satisfied with our offer of assistance. Mr. [redacted] did not point out any damage to his vehicle when he picked it up from the original service. Mr. [redacted] also states that he was to busy to bring it back and that he can not prove that the damage was done by our service department. I received an email from Mr. [redacted] on Sunday March 5, 2017 stating that after not driving his vehicle for nearly 3 weeks, that the battery is dead and his CD playing no longer works. A dead battery on an 11 year old vehicle with 186,000 miles would not be unusual. We are willing to work with Mr. [redacted] to address his concerns, but it seems he does not want our assistance. Respectfully, Gene D***General ManagerSubaru of Fort Wayne

All that are involved, I spoke with [redacted] tonight in the dealership and are working out another vehicle purchase for himIt sounds like we will not agree on the scratch being done here or beforeAs for the account confusion, we can handle that, not a big problem moving forwardThank you,Trey Rohrman

I attend school here in Indiana The location is on e Washington st Hyundai (Indianapolis) but the one in Lafayette is the HQ per Revdex.com There's also an update They didn't perform the task they said They didn't replace the root cause of the issue that caused the melting, which was the Turbo I was told they were going to replace the Turbo and they didn't Also, the car is still making the noisethey lied to me and are very rude dealership in the service department NOTE: I'm now sick due to the rental car that was engulfed in smoke

Ms [redacted] was informed before she brought her vehicle in for service that the initial cost to diagnose her vehicle would be $ She agreed to the diagnostic fee and declined the work; therefore, Fort Wayne Nissan will not be refunding the diagnostic fee

Mr [redacted] was contacted today regarding the concern expressed in his complaint Upon review of the worksheet on which the transaction was negotiated it clearly shows that theft protection was negotiated as part of the transaction Theft protection is not required While it is on all of our vehicles at the times of purchase, it is optional for the purchaser to transfer the coverage to themselves We have agreed to cancel the theft protection for Mr [redacted] He is coming to sign and pick up new paperwork this afternoon We apologized for any inconvenience

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID 10728614, and have determined that the response would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below I had my timing belt replaced at approximately 135,by a AAA certified mechanic in Bowling Green, KY in June and am not now requesting that Bob Rohrman Subaru cover the cost of replacing it againThe lead mechanic told me that my car would be ready by the end of the first week, with probable pion that ThursdayAs I had already made plans to be out of town that weekend, I called late Thursday afternoon to request an update on my vehicleThe lead mechanic told me that it would be ready soon but that they would loan me a car in the interim so that my plans would not be affectedEvery day after that I was told my car would be ready that day, until I was finally able to pick it up days laterI was forced to spend several nights in a hotel that I had not planned on (I intentionally drove to the Fort Wayne Subaru dealer because I had had a positive service experience with a former automotive manager)Jason (the current manager) knew this and did nothing to expedite the service I had made an appointment for in advanceAs to the additional repairs I have been said.to.refuse, none of them involved engine work and, in fact, the service department failed to address all of the issues with my car that I asked them toFor example, the left front tire sometimes makes a grinding sound when turningI asked Jason about this problem specifically and he told me that it was probably due to the hub bearings that needed replacing on my back tiresThe discounts referred to were the result of a special Bob Rohrman Subaru was running at the time: 13% off all servicesThis promotion was one reason I brought my car to this particular dealershipI am not asking for a complete refund of services, nor am I asking for Bob Rohrman Subaru to pay the entirety of the cost of my engine rebuildI am simply asking that the portion of my bill that covered the unnecessary and ineffectual replacement of my head gaskets be refunded to me Regards, [redacted]
