I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that the response would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear beThe claim that they only noticed a cracked fuel line is a falsehood I will paraphrase what the service manager Brandon who called me on the phone on the day that the $fuel pump gasket replacement was to be performed: "When the tech tried to remove the fuel pupunctured/ruptured the fuel line and the repair estimate will now be $1100.00"! If the fuel line was punctured prior to their estimate; they would have cited the fuel line If it had been punctured prior to being entrusted into their care, it would have been noticed, because I was actively monitoring for leaks when I noticed the coolant, and I checked under and all around the vehicle to try and determine the source of the leak In addition; the car would not have been operable as it obviously was when they took custody! They admitted/ acknowledged causing the damage to the fuel line while attempting to remove the fuel pump and Jason H*** stated that: "No matter who would have removed the fuel pump; that they would have damaged the fuel line because it was "brittle." Also when I suggested that they make the claim against the mechanics insurance for the damage that they caused, he responded by saying that "We don't have mechanic's insurance." So if I paid for a diagnostic evaluation before leaving my car with them; they should have accurately diagnosed a cracked/damaged fuel line at that time and accounted for it in their estimate Instead they told me that the results indicated bad gaskets in the fuel pump and an estimate of $in repairs Only after leaving an operable car with them for 3-hours later did they call and admit (Brandon) to damaging the fuel line and they should be held responsible and accountable for fixing it and not try to change the cause of the problem I drove a completely operable car into their shop and they caused further damage and charged me to pick up an inoperable car and have it towed elsewhere to repair additional damage that they caused And they did not even put the interior of the cargo area back together I do understand that fuel lines can become very rusty and brittle but damage caused by the shop ought to be repaired by the shop if they have any ethics or honesty Other car parts are fragile and brittle too such as the headlight encasement or other parts but if they are functioning as intended but are damaged by the service personnel, then the shop ought to have proper mechanics insurance and file the claims to resolve those issues

At best this statement from the business is inconsistentI have shown the documents, and they have done nothing more but admitted to keep any amount of money undue themThe clearly show there is a balance I am due back from their own calculationsAlso I received a call from the financing company verifying all information that was given during application just on 8/19/at 4:36pmSo anything they claim to had found in my car was found unethicallyWhen repossessing a car a detailed inventory of items is to be made (this was not done with my belongings)Further there are still missing items from the carIncluding a pair of sunglasses retailing at (designer Nine West)According to the finance company they were not aware anything was wrong with the deal or down payment until I mentioned itThis is because the dealer submitted paperwork and contracts stating the down payment had been completely receivedThis was an attempt by the dealer to be paid the at their admittance their falsified documentsThey have no paperwork stating years in my hand writing at all and will never be able to provide it as proofFurther, that salesperson did take the money from my hand and after he did I went directly to his boss and asked "what is he going to do because he just took that right out my hand." The manager replied get a receipt, when that receipt was handed to me NO ONE had ever shown me the price or terms prior to my money being takenI was told repeatedly that in order to get the loan details my down payment was neededIf that were the case then I shouldn't have any paperwork for this car if they claim I never paid the full amountThis promissory note is not valid by the own accord because they voided it by providing paperwork stating $was receivedAt this point, because as they also offer a new deal, this means I have financing! They are in the business of selling cars anything with verifying my employment was to be done prior or as MrN*** stated "the bank does that." Furthermore the continued invasion of privacy by non-financial employees will NOT be toleratedSo I either want my car or my money! I stand by my word that salesperson TOOK my money out my hand which is why I followed him out that officeIf everything was just great as they claim I wouldn't have questions his actions to his bossI alerted them of that when it happenedNo one took me serious just as no one is now about itHe needs to be fired for very unethical behavior and I am certain illegalThis business just ironically does not have visible camerasI proposed if they do have cameras then to view that sales transaction, video will show he took the money from my hands

[Provide details of why you are not satisfied with this resolution.] I have a buyers agreement that states it supercedes any other agreementFort Wayne toyota did make a mistake however I had no notice of this error until days after my purchase I am not willing to resign a document when I have one that is a legal contract that is signed by all parties including the dealershipWhen I told them this they proceeded to threaten me by telling me they will not pay off my previous vehicle until I resign a contract that they are ok withI have had an attorney send them a letter on my behalf agreeing with me that it is a legal document I would like fort wayne toyota to acknowledge that this contract is legalized due to the fact that it is signed document by all parties involvedThey want to inconvenience myself and family because they are not wanting to accept their mistakeI do ask u to have fort wayne toyota to send u the legal documents that I signed as did they that will hold up in a court room because as u will see the buyers agreement clearly states that it supercedes any other agreement

I have subsequently discovered that my CD player is now inoperable and my car battery was dead after sitting for two weeks, which leads me to believe there was further damage done to my vehicle than first identified. The AM/FM radio still functions fine but the CD player cannot be accessed. The battery is year old and has never been dead.If MrD*** were agree to resolve the newfound issue with the CD player, perform an electrical system test, and have a 3rd party professionally clean the entire interior of the vehicle (with proof of service) in addition to the eventual dashboard replacement, and signs a legal document stating any further damage my vehicle (as defined in document) during the process of repairs would result in dealership paying $2,in order for me to seek out interior replacement of earlier identified parts and repair by a 3rd party. This would be in addition to any funds for any further damage done during service beyond those currently identified. While the current interior damage is irreparable outside of replacement; a 3rd party detail of entire entire interior would compensate for some of these losses. The reason for the legal agreement is I have no confidence his service personnel under the guidance of MrD*** or his service manager, Jason H***, will responsibly complete these repairs without further damage to my vehicle. This agreement would set expectations and expedite any litigious outcomes if there are further damages

Hyundai did reach out to us and we did respond to them. We have also talked to our district rep from Hyundai. Our intention was to find the source of noise and resolve the issue. The tech found a broken air intake hose that connects the turbo to the intake. That will cause abnoises. The tech replaced that hose. He inspected the turbo at the time of the repair and found nothing wrong with it. We are sorry for the confusion that may have been caused when the tech was talking about the turbo. We were not trying to hide anything from Mr*** with how we repaired his car. I noticed he mentioned that there was a melted valve that was replaced during the repair. I assume he is referring to the hose that we replaced because there was no melted valve that was replaced. Again, we invite Mr*** to bring his car back in so that we can find the source of his noise. We were only able to hear the noise once during one of the test drives when Mr*** driving the vehicle. We replaced the broken hose that will cause abnoises when broken, but apparently that is not the source of the noise he is hearingAs far as the new issues he mentioned with his air conditioning and jerking between gears we would be more than happy to look into those for him as well. Thank you!

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and find that this response/resolution is satisfactory to me. And yes, Brady was at KIA, but we bought a Honda from him. This was handled very poorly by the finance guy AND the supervisor, not sure how much control Brady had over it, but none of them got back to us with any kind of answer. Thank you MrRohrman. This makes us feel some better about your establishment

Fort Wayne Nissan apologizes if the
treatment Ms*** felt was less than kind. Fort Wayne Nissan prides itself on customer service. The diagnostic fee that is charged is comparable to other manufacturer dealerships in the area.If the repair was done at FW Nissan, the diagnostice fee would have been deducted from the price.FW Nissan stands by the original response and will not be refunding the diagnostic fee

October 20, 2017 Mrs*** *** was contacted to day and advised that her name has been disassociated from the vehicle that they previously owned. The card that she received was from Kia not from the dealership. The note that she wrote on the card would have been returned
to the sender, not to us. She may receive information regarding the vehicle for a period of time as previous data pulls may be used for some mailings. Since the Kia was traded last month, the recent time period may be a factor as well. We have noted that they no longer have the vehicle and future mailings and or emailings should diminish. Our position is that no further action is needed at this time.We apologize for any inconvenience

Dear Revdex.com,I have read the message from the consumer back to you regarding the mile overage chargesAs you can read from the text message attachment from the consumer, the salesperson stated he was under the impression the consumer was in a 45k lease on their previous leaseAs you can read there was obviously a misunderstanding between the salesperson and the consumer about the milesThe dealership and employees involved are not trying to be "deceitful" or "shady" concerning this situation. The dealership leases around 30% of its New car sales each month and employees and management are very in tune in regards to customers ending leases and returning back into a new lease. As a goodwill gesture the dealership would be willing to extend the consumer an offer of $to help resolve this issueThis would be half of the outstanding bill dueAlso, the dealership has already worked on behalf of the consumer to get $waived.I hope that the consumer finds this an appropriate solution.Thank you,David P***General Manager

I have attached the receipt showing that we have reimbursed the customer the complete $on 12/08/

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined the response would not resolve my complaint. ...

For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. Bob Rohrman Honda contacted me to return my deposit on 12/8.  I provided my credit card number (again) on 12/8.  As of today (12/12), my credit card company does not show any actual or pending transaction.
Regards,
[redacted]

Ms. [redacted] was informed before she brought her vehicle in for service that the initial cost to diagnose her vehicle would be $125.00.  She agreed to the diagnostic fee and declined the work; therefore, Fort Wayne Nissan will not be refunding the diagnostic fee.

Revdex.com and Gene D[redacted] from SubaruIn response to Gene D[redacted]’s explanation:  The only person that ever called me, [redacted], from Subaru was Melissa the title clerk because the title to my new Subaru was missing and it was me that initiated that call.  I went to the DMV to pay the registration for my Subaru and was told there wasn’t any title for the car. Melissa returned my call to tell me the title was missing and that is the ONLY call I EVER received from Subaru.  We didn’t even know there was any other issue with the cost of the Chrysler until NOVEMBER when [redacted] called me and my mother about no payments.  Subaru never contacted us about the payment issue.  We contacted them after hearing from [redacted].   At that point my mom got her lawyer involved and it became a legal matter with [redacted]’s Attorney’s Jones and Obenchain.  When Joe D[redacted] tried calling [redacted] to talk with them [redacted] told Joe that because of the legalities of this he could only talk to the mother, [redacted], because of her lawyer being involved.   SO, Joe D[redacted] knew all along that no calls were made to [redacted] and all calls went through [redacted].  So if Joe told Gene D[redacted] that [redacted] wouldn’t talk to them or take his calls he is lying.     All of Joe D[redacted]’s phone calls are documented in the statement attached to the Revdex.com complaint.  At no time did I or my mother state that the balance was $5000 and when [redacted] got Joe D[redacted] a statement in December from [redacted] and it showed $6700 at no time was Joe told it was all DUE to late fees.  Joe was told that the balance INCLUDES late fees and penalties since he hadn’t done anything about this issue with the Chrysler payment from September to January. Again, we did not know the balance of the car when we talked about trading it in on 9/4/17.  My mother has traded in 7 cars in her lifetime at different dealerships.  The Financial Manager at those dealerships always took care of getting the balance due, taking off the trade in agreement and working the rest into the loan.  Why was this never done at Subaru? Gene D[redacted] attached a form to the Revdex.com complaint titled “Estimated”  showing that [redacted] signed the form stating the balance was $5000.   I, [redacted], have NEVER seen this form before.  A copy of said form is NOT included in my packet of paperwork from Subaru and the signature looks copied from another document.  [redacted] had her lawyer look at the document compared to all the other signed documents and they don’t match.  In addition, the document isn’t legal because it isn’t completely filled out and the other owner of the car ([redacted]) knew nothing about it and wasn’t made to sign it.  Also, why wasn’t this form brought up to anyone long before this complaint was initiated.   My mother’s lawyer has been talking with [redacted]’s lawyers ([redacted]) since this all began.  My mother’s lawyer has put in a message to [redacted] Credit Union’s lawyer to find out if what Gene D[redacted] is saying is true, that they paid off the car and made an agreement with [redacted] to accept $5000 in exchange for the Title.   I’m sorry my posting took a little longer.  I had to verify with my lawyer and with [redacted] that the $5000 payment was made by Subaru and that the check cleared the account.  I spoke with Ms. B[redacted] this morning 1/23/18 and she verified that they did receive it and it has cleared.   I am accepting closure of this complaint, but if anything else happens with Subaru will proceed with legal action or another Revdex.com complaint.  Thank you Revdex.com for all of your help in this matter, Sincerely [redacted]
Regards,
[redacted]
