Be very wary buying a dress from MissesdressyI found a dress on the Missesdressy website and purchased it, understanding that I could only return it in a 3-day window of receiving it for an exchange or store credit onlyBased upon international shipping, I should have received it within a weekTWO weeks go by, and I keep wondering where my dress isI receive an email stating that because my billing address is different from my shipping address, I need to provide them with an authorization formNo problem, except for the fact that they had waited TWO WEEKS to email me this notificationThe website said that I was supposed to receive my dress in a week’s time! I had paid international shipping to ensure that I would receive it on time, but international shipping isn’t much good when they delay two weeks to ship it!
I wish that were the least of my problemsI received the dress shortly thereafter, only to find that the dress I received was different from the one pictured on the websiteNot a completely different dress altogether, but it had an extra band of sequins that was not featured in pictureThe—now four bands—of sequins were much darker than the picture as well, and changed the entire style of the dressI called them—understanding that typically they don’t do refunds—and requested that they would make an exception this time, since the dress pictured on their website was different from what they receivedI sent them in a photo of the dress I received, along with the link to the dress pictured on their websiteRegardless, they did not budgeThey still offered me a store credit, but if I had known the dress I would have ACTUALLY been receiving, I would have never ordered from them in the first placeI have one year to claim my store credit, but I am extremely skeptical of buying any more from their websiteBecause here’s the catch: the dress I buy with the store credit is a final saleNo more store credit or exchanges after thatWhat if I receive a different dress again? My trust with this company is brokenI am disappointed how Missesdressy handled this situationI was hoping they would be more professional and offer to remedy the situation in a proper way(Before I sent back my dress, they did offer to throw in a pair of shoes and a bra for the “inconvenience” of my situationIt was a nice gesture, but a pair of shoes and a bra don’t amount up to the $300+ dollars I spent on a wrong dress and shipping.)
Unfortunately I would have to not recommend purchasing from MissesdressyThere are much classier establishments out there such as *** and ***They offer refunds and are willing to work with youDo yourself a favor, avoid the headache, and do not purchase from Missesdressy

I ordered address online at Mrsdressy on February *, I was charged $for it on my credit cardOn their website it's stated that it would be shipped to me within to business daysI have contacted the company several times by email and I have not received a dress as of this date which is November *, I have asked for them to cancel the order and they refuse I have asked for a refund and they refuseThey took my money and I have no dressI no longer want to dress from them and do not want to do business with themI can't get my money back from them and I don't have a dressThey are in violation of their own business practices stated on their website and it is theft

On March ** I ordered a dress from Misses Dressey onlineI was told that the dress size I wanted(size 4) was unavailable until the beginning of June but that if I ordered a size They could ship it on April ** for delivery in the first week of MayAnd so I ordered the available size with the intention of altering it to fitOn April *** I received an email saying that the shipping date was delayed to May ***On May *** at 11:47pm I received an email saying that the shipping date is now July *** and how do I want to proceedI requested my money backThey charged my credit card dollars on March **Today they said they processed my request and will only refund half of my moneyThis is unacceptableI want to get my money back for merchandise not received They also tried to get me to buy another dressThis is classic bait and switch practices

After buying the dress with a pre paid card made for the purchase they sent me an email requesting for ID and other personal information that isn't supposed to be needed to buy a dressThey said they should be contacted because they needed this information because the billing address wasn't the same as shipping address, what if the dress is a gift? So, I requested by email for the dress to be sent with out this personal information or I would like my money back and the seller automatically sent a cancellation form that states that I can only get 50% back of what I originally paidThey won't return my calls or my emails anymore and I don't think they will give me any money back

On March **, I placed an order for a prom dress for my daughter (Beaded Long Gown by Elizabeth K - Size XS) for $Before I placed the order, I called to verify that they had the dress/size which the woman (Rita) indicated that they didI checked the store policy on when they charge my card and it indicates, “the charge does not go through and withdraw the funds until the item ships out to you”
I placed the order on March *** and I found out on March **, that they did not have the size, so I requested that the funds not be withdrawn from my accountOn March **, later on in the day, I received an email where they offered a store credit of $350, which I declined and requested that the funds not be withdrawn from my accountThe funds were withdrawn from my account and now I keep getting the run around on getting a refundI have done an online chat and have spoken to a women named Rita many times, but still they have not processed the refundShe keeps

I ordered two dresses from missesdressy.com on 02/**/for an event dated 11/**/Their website has a function that allows customers to input the date by which they require the dress; knowing the dress was coming from the states to the UK where I am based, I put in 09/**/as the date it should arrive in Bristol, UKThey required some verification of my credit card information etc to which I complied immediately but they took days to get the order shipped out, much after the event has already taken place even though on their website they said they would cancel orders if they weren't able to ship it out to arrive on timeKnowing the order would not arrive on time for sure (they sent me an email saying the dress would arrive in their warehouse in the US on the *** of March so it would have been virtually impossible for the dress to have arrived on time) they did not discuss the order with me and proceeded to ship it out hoping I wouldn't be bothered to pursue the issue

At this time, I have been contacted
directly by Misses Dressy, Inc. regarding complaint ID ***, however my complaint has NOT been resolved because:
They emailed me to say that "because I chose not to upgrade to quicker processing" that they cancelled my order and gave me in store credit In store credit is not acceptable because they didn't uphold their end of the transaction

I ordered a prom dress from this company on 3/**/ On 3/**/I received an email from them saying that they could not provide the dress that I ordered but wanted to keep me as a customer so were offering me a store credit and expedited shipping on another dress I told them I wanted a refund instead of a store credit because I had found the dress somewhere else so to cancel the order and refund me my money Since that time I have called them, emailed them and online chatted with them to find out when I would receive the refund They keep saying that my refund is being processed but can give no date on when I will receive it Most companies offer refunds in to days It has now been months and still no refund When I called to speak to a manager the person on the phone could not connect me, did not know that full name of the manager (only that her first name was Kimberly) and that they did not have the ability to process my refund I have since researched this company

I ordered a dress online as I am deployed overseas and do not have the luxury to visit stores in person while shopping for my wedding dressI found what I thought was a lovely dress, Karishma Destinations, item #9091, on their website and on saleThe color is listed as ivory although the pic appeared to display a white dressThat was not a problemHowever, the beading on the dress appeared silverUpon arrival, the beading on the dress is YELLOWIt makes the entire dress look dirty and is completely unwearableI contacted the company stating my complaint and sent photos only to receive an email back that the beads are the same color as they appear on the websiteI have a screenshot from their website and I have a photo of my dress that shows otherwise
Of course the purchase is non-refundableI'm disappointed and out $+ S&H for a dress that does not appear as advertised

I ordered a dress of 550€ which I paid with my VISA but they dont deliver any dress and keep asking me to send documentsThey are trying to find excuses not to deliver

Incorrect! My daughter was still looking for that dress and she ordered again from you not realizing that it was from the same place If that is the case, then how convenient that when I called to have this dress replaced you said you didn't have any more but then a month later had one listed again for resale THE DRESS IS MESSED UP! I had a seamstress look at it and confirm I sent you the pics and you claim it was too small NOT TRUE! The back did not line up in the back like it should when the front was in placeIt was completely off to the side and all the interior showed when it shouldn't based on how it was sewn You gave a refund on the 2nd purchase due to being out of stock but I had to dispute that as well as you kept the money even when you knew it was out of stock Poor business practices That 2nd order would NOT Have been placed with you had my daughter checked with me first She was unaware she was ordering from the same place If you don't think the dress is messed up then why won't you accept it back then and refund the purchase? Because you know you would be stuck with it and couldn't resell it! There are tons of other complaints against your company as well SadAnd by the way she has found the exact same dress, style and size that was originally ordered from you and guess what? It fits perfect That is how we know your dress is messed up since we got one of the same size and it fits just fine
