Mobovida, LLC

I placed an order on December 19 for a Christmas present and as of today, January 19, I have not received it or a refund and can not get anyone to respond to my requests for a refund. I will suggest no one order from this company. I certainly will not again.

Review: Company's website does not clearly show shipping before completion of order. Cancellation of an order not handled in the same way orders are. There are numerous complaints about their deceptive practices on the web.Desired Settlement: I'd like to see them tarred and feathered and run out of town on a rail. Short of that, if they would stop being crooks, that would be nice.

We apologize for this inconvenience. A full refund has been issued to you. Please allow 2-3 business days for the credit to post to your account. If you have any questions please feel free to contact me at [redacted].com

Review: On 7/3/14, I ordered a cell phone travel charger from CellularOutfitter.com (Order #: [redacted]). I placed the order at 2:24:08AM and requested cancellation of the order at 2:29:45AM (using their standard "contact us" process - clearly indicating to cancel the order - cancelling an order is one of the types of inquiry on this contact form). They say they shipped the product at 8:29pm that same day. They clearly had time and the responsibility to cancel this order before it shipped. I received no customer support from their customer service department. They would not take responsibility for their flawed processes and systems. Instead, they tried to shift blame to me. This is clearly not a better business practice and needs to be rectified.Desired Settlement: I desire a refund on my credit card. After this credit has been processed (if they want the product returned), they need to provide a prepaid return envelope.

Business

Response:

Hello [redacted],

We apologize for any confusion but on the same request you sent it also states that sending us a message does not cancel an order and due to our quick fulfillment process the item was shipped before your email was read. As a courtesy we are willing to waive any restocking fees including refunding shipping and handling once the item is returned. Please let us know if you have any further questions.

Thank you,

Review: I was ordering from there website and had in my cart a few items when to the checkout option to checking on shipping costs and options. well you have to enter your credit card information and billing info. first when is the normal way websites work so they know where they are shipping items then you normally get a screen that tell you what they are going to charge your card. well with this company they do not they just bill then show you the invoice. in my case the shipping was almost 2 times the cost of the items wanted to be bought. If I would of seen that before the card was charged I would of not placed the order. But it was too late they had already charged the card without disclosing the shipping charges first. I believe this is a way to scam money out of people without their consent. which is fraud.Desired Settlement: Complete and immediate refund of money. and require them in the future to disclose shipping costs before billing the clients so that they are informed completely of what they are being charged.

Hi [redacted],

Review: I placed an order on 4/20/15 for 2 cellular cellphone cases. 1 of the cellphone cases was out of stock and the other was not sent. I only received a screen protector and 1 free pen. I made attempts to send a couple of emails and when I called I was only hold for a long period of time and then the phone just rings busy with no answer or voice mail. I did receive 1 email stating I could request a refund or exchange for another cellphone case. However, I had one cellphone case that was in stock that was not sent. At this time I would just like to have a full refund. My order number is #[redacted] and the total including shipping was $21.96.Desired Settlement: I would like to have a full refund in the amount of $21.96 which is what I have paid out to supplier and did not receive any of my merchandise.

This is for [redacted]. She contacted the Revdex.com stating that she did not receive her order. We have reviewed the order details and found that her original package was shipped back to us by the post office due to an undeliverable address. On 10/8/2013 we E-mail the customer informing them of the package being returned to us. On 1/9/2014 they confirmed the address information and a new package was shipped to them.

Review: On 22 April 2015 I ordered a Tempered Glass Screen Protector for my [redacted] About a week later I received a screen protector for an [redacted] which will not fit my phone. The order number is 3699597.Since then I have sent 5 complaint messages on their website with no response even though the form says, "you can expect a personal response within one business day." Today is 11 May 2015.Additionally, I have called the 8oo number (800 871-6926) twice. The way that works is that I was put on hold for 15 minutes and then it switches to a recording which leaves me the opportunity to leave a message. I did leave a message TWICE without a response. The price of the order was $15.98 including shipping. I would like a refund. The point is not so much the money involved, but I strongly believe that companies should be held accountable not only for their products, but also for the "customer service" which in this case was lacking.Sincerely,[redacted]Desired Settlement: Refund of $15.98 which includes shipping.

Review: I purchased a phone charger from this company, and they sent me the wrong item. I have tried on 5 occasions via their "contact us" selection on their website. I also tried using their "live chat" option, but all you get is a box to put your name, address, issue, order number, and when you hit submit a box comes up to say that "you will be contacted as soon as possible" or something like that. I need to contact them to get an RMA code per their return policy, but they have not contacted me back. The return policy requires return within 7 days, but since they won't contact me back, I am approaching the 7 day mark fast.Desired Settlement: I want them to send me the return code and accept this return without penalty, which is a 15% restocking fee if returned after the 7 day window. I also think they should pay for the return, since they sent me the wrong item. I also want a refund back to my credit card.

Review: On October 7th, I, [redacted], had purchased a battery for a friend, [redacted]. The battery was for a Samsung Rugby Smart SGH-I847 (ATT) . Upon arrival, Mr. [redacted] said that the battery was not holding a charge very long. He had place it on the charger and the phone became extremely hot. He had called me and told me of the issue and I advised him to unplug the phone immediately. Assuming it would be safe, Mr. [redacted] had placed the phone into his pocket. Moments later he had felt a burning sensation on his leg. He had pulled out the phone and found that the battery had exploded. Leaving battery acid burns on his hand and leg. He immediately washed it off and now has a burn mark on his hand from such, as well as his leg. I had contacted the company repeatedly on this issue, and had left negative feedback for the purchase (which was never posted, because they review all feedback before allowing it to go public.). When I finally did connect with them, I spoke to a guy by the name of [redacted]@cellularoutfitter.com) and he acted as if he had understood that it was the battery that had destroyed the phone. I had advised Mr. [redacted] to contact them and he did so, after I had spoke to [redacted]. He was unable to speak to [redacted] but a company representative that he spoke with said they were only responsible for battery replacement and refused to have management contact Mr. [redacted] with a return call. Since then, I have purchased Mr. [redacted] a new phone to replace the phone that my purchase for him had destroyed. I am seeking a refund with shipping for the amount of $13.48 for the battery as well as the amount of the phone $152.97. (all of which I have a receipt for) Thus, correcting the issue with them selling me faulty equipment in which it had cost me more than the price of a battery. Had they allowed all honest feedback to be posted, I would not have purchased this from them as I may have seen that others might have had this issue as well.Desired Settlement: Replacement and refund. For the full amount of $166.45. $152.97 for a replacement phone and $13.48 for the purchase made for the battery from cellularoutfitter.com

Review: I ordered a rubber cell phone cover and was sent a hard plastic one instead. I've tried repeatedly to contact them to no avail. I either get a busy signal or am put on hold several times now for over 30 minute while nobody answers the phone, only a recording stating someone would be there soon. This is not a large dollar item, it's principal.Desired Settlement: I ordered something and was sent a wrong item and they need to make it right. They need to send a prepaid return slip and the correct cell phone cover for my lg 306g.

Reply: Hi [redacted],

Review: I placed an order on the CellularOutfitter.com website store this afternoon. I entered my pre-paid VISA card information at the check-out screen. My payment was declined. The website instructed instructed me to re-enter my card information. I re-entered my card data a second time -it was declined. I entered it a third time-it was declined. I requested on-line customer support to ascertain why the company could not accept my payment: I never received a response to my on-line query. I called the company's customer service department at 800-871-6926 and spoke to [redacted]. She told me that the problem was that I incorrectly entered my card information or billing address information or that my merchant card company did not have my address linked to my pre-paid VISA card: She told me to contact my merchant card company. She also told me that the three previously failed payments were going to show up as "holds" on my pre-paid VISA card for 3 calendar days. I told her that I have used this card for over a year specifically for on-line purchases, so the card is linked to my billing address. I told her that I made two on-line purchases last week with my card with no problems. I also told her that I entered my card and billing information correctly three times. She reiterated that the problem is with my merchant card provider (MoneyNetwork) and she told me to call Money Network. I immediately called MoneyNetwork and confirmed that I had a sufficient balance to cover the transaction, that my card is linked to my billing address, and that MoneyNetwork's system is functioning properly today. The customer service rep at MoneyNetwork instructed me to call CellularOutfitter.com to notify them that the CellularOutfitter payment system is not properly functioning. I immediately called [redacted] and told her of my conversation with MoneyNetwork, and she offered to input my order a fourth time: I told her that this makes no sense because if my payment is declined again, then I'll have a 4th hold.Desired Settlement: I want CellularOutfitter to immediately (within 24 hours) release the 3 holds on my pre-paid VISA card and reimburse me for charges that I may incur from MoneyNetwork as a result of the issues that CellularOufitter.com is experiencing with its payment/billing system. CellularOutfitter.com should also have a disclaimer posted in boldface type on its website check-out page that notifies customers that CellularOutfitter.com reserves the right to place a hold on funds for each declined payment.

Response:

We apologize for this inconvenience. Funds on declined transaction cannot be collect by us. The attempted transactions that were declined we never charged to the card. Review: I called their customer support line to inform them of there billing error and they refused to correct the problem. I have the packaging slip which shows what I ordered and total with the break down of shipping and taxes and each item. My credit card was not billed correctly, not to mention I am missing two items from the package and one item that was charged to my credit card which I paid shipping for and I dont have it. Im still waiting for a supervisor to call me back.Desired Settlement: I would like my missing items sent asap and the billing problem corrected with a refund posted to my card because of the incorect shipping cost billed to my card. I have the statement showing the correct amount.

Hi [redacted],

Review: To begin with, I never received an order confirmation/number from Cellular Outfitter nor a shipping confirmation. I had to call customer service on 12-27-2014 at 5:25 pm to see if my order was on the way. I ordered two cell phone protectors for myself and my wife on 12-24-2014. One was a purple cell phone cover for my wife's Nokia Lumia 635. The second cover was for myself. (A royal blue silicone cover for a Nokia Lumia 630) I was under the impression that these cell phone covers were manufactured by Nokia, not an "off-brand" generic product. Both phone covers were advertised as having a retail price of $19.99 and being sold for $2.99 each. A great deal, right? NOT! We received our items on 12-30-2014. My wife's cell phone cover doesn't fit. It's a two-piece cover that's supposed to snap together. She couldn't even close it. Mine fit perfectly, top and bottom. However, the sides are a bit loose. My wife's cell phone cover specifically reads: [redacted]) On the other hand, my shipping invoice has completely different item numbers. [redacted] (my wife's cover) and [redacted] (my cover)In fact, I never knew my order number until the items arrived at my home on 12-30-2014. The order number is: 3371886. Although I appreciate the free screen protector films and the free stylus/ball point pen, these cell phone covers are generic and low quality. No wonder they're only $2.99 each. Heck, the shipping totals ($11.96) cost more than the items I purchased! If it wasn't for the expensive cost of shipping, I'd say forget it and shop elsewhere. But to charge this amount for something generic? I'm very disappointed.Desired Settlement: Although my cover's a bit loose on the sides, I'll keep it. Along with the stylus pen and screen protectors. However, I want a refund for my wife's cell phone cover. I'll pay for the cost of shipping. And trust me, it won't cost $11.96!

Review: I receive a product that was clearly marked as being for a totally different phone. After contacting WE, I followed their instructions and returned the wrong one with the assurance that my return would be expedited. After not hearing from them I called and was assured they would act promptly as soon as they received it. I checked the tracking on USPS and found out they had received it over a week prior to my calling. I contacted them the same day and was told the same thing. After I explained that I called and had learned it was delivered to them over a week ago, a very rude young lady said that did not matter and that they would get to it when they could as they had as many returns coming in as product going out. I quit calling and sent several e-mails and none of them were answered. It has been 11 days since they receive the return and I still have not heard from them. This is the first complaint with the Revdex.com I have filed. I do business over the internet on a regular basis and have never had a problem this.Desired Settlement: I would like to have the correct item I paid for

Review: The phone's fake-leather case purchased on 11-Aug-14 received on 8-15-14, but does not fit my phone (too small) as described for that size of phone. Besides, there is a warning label stated on the wrapping bag that the material may cause cancer. So, I demanded a full refund of $10.96 and requested them to provide me the RMA and free shipping label for the return as indicated on your website at time of purchase, but they ignore my request for the free shipping label. So, I returned it to them with another 3.23 out of my own pocket, hoping they would be fair to pay me back their shipping fee. After held up my fund for more than week, they partially refunded me $4.97 and insisted that shipping fee of $5.99 is non-refundable. I've been going back and forth with them, but they refuse to refund me the difference. At the end, I end up paying $9.22 for nothing. They shipped me the wrong size case and refused to take financial responsibility for it. This whole ordeal has been very frustrating. In conclusion, if I do not get my money back, I will continue to report to Consumer Complaint Agency.Desired Settlement: I want a refund of $5.99 to cover the difference.

Hello,

Review: I bought a Motorola DROID 2 smartphone (Verizon Certified Pre-Owned) 9PHN-MOT-A955-02) from Cellularoutfitter for $94.99, 2/25/14. Order #[redacted].This company has a 7-day return policy! The phone now will no longer ring with an incoming call. I called the companies phone #800-871-6926. And they have no technical support, no way to help fix the phone so it will ring and they will not take the phone back nor replace it. The phone is obviously defective and useless. AND I PAID $97.08.Is there anything that can be done?Desired Settlement: I WOULD LIKE MY MONEY REFUNDED, $97.08 FOR THIS DEFECTIVE PRODUCT.

Business

Response:

Hello [redacted],

We apologize that you are now experiencing problems with a phone that was originally purchased in February. As stated in our return policy that was also included in the packaging of the phone you have 7 days to contact us in order to receive a replacement. Because we were not contacted until April 18th we would be unable to accept a return on this product. If you would like we would be happy to offer a discount on a future purchase.

Please see the link below to our return policy.

If you have any further questions please let us know.

Thank you,

Consumer

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

THE PHONE QUIT WORKING AND DOES NOT RING WITH AN INCOMING CALL. THIS HAPPENED ON APRIL 18TH. THIS PHONE IS USELESS FOR ME NOW AND I PAID $94.99 FOR A PRODUCT THAT NO LONGS WORKS. THIS IS OUTRAGEOUS WHEN A COMPANY DOES NOT STAND BY THEIR PRODUCTS. THE RETURN POLICY OF 7 DAY IS REDICULOUS. ESPECIALLY WHEN IT TAKES 4-10 DAYS TO RECEIVE THE PRODUCT.

THIS TYPE OF BUSINESS PRACTICE SHOULD BE STOPPED.

Regards,

Business

Response:

Hello [redacted],

As stated before you have 7 days from the date you receive the item and this policy is in line with all major cell phone carriers. We apologize your phone become defective after a few months of use but we would not be able to take the phone back. Again if you would like we would be happy to offer a discount on a future purchase. Please let us know if there is anything we can help you with.

Thanks,

Review: I purchased a product from them. They show they are a united states business and show the Revdex.com symbol. What I received from the company was a cheap plastic cell phone case packaging stated "made in China". Product does not work, they claimed it to be " rubberized protector case" and "screen protector film". Price $4.98 and shipping $7.98= $12.96. Since they show member of Revdex.com I trusted them. I got cheap plastic and their return policy states no refund on shipping and also restocking fee. So I will most likely not be able to return product. I think since you are backing this company " wireless emporium inc DBA cellular outfitters" you should know the bad business practice of sending such an item. Their was no mistake as the new product in package stated is for what I ordered, but it is not rubberized cell phone protector and will not work, and states made in China.Desired Settlement: You should see if they are a fraud and do they deserve the Revdex.com emblom I also want refund for product and any shipping costs that I have incurred or may incure and I don't want them charging me any fees, for example restocking fee. I will gladly mail (at my expense) to the Revdex.com the products I received from them. I am not only unhappy with purchase but could this have happened to a lot of other consumers???? Please look into this company. Online they go by name cellular outfitters.com. and I found them when I went to eBay they appeared at bottom as a sponsored link stating over 10,000.00 customers. I contacted eBay and they don't know of them. I am also requesting company I paid through to see if I can get a refund. I want a complete refund and they pay return shipping and no fees to me.

Review: I place an order and received the items with no problems. While I was waiting on the items to arrive my phone broke and I switched to a different phone, I called customer service to see if I could send the items back and get a store credit and I was told that would be no problem. They sent me the information needed to send the items back and I sent them paying the shipping charges. they received the items and I was never told anything about my credit or getting money back so I called and spoke to someone who told me they would look into it and I gave them a couple of weeks and still heard nothing, then I sent an email a couple weeks ago and still haven't had any response from the company.
