On 10/09/we perchased two Lazy Boy recliners from Morris Furnture on Morse rdin Columbus OhioEach chair was to have a Tall Base installedWe charged $to our Visa and put $on a Synchrony Banke charge for one year same as cash dealThe chairs were delivered December 20, The tall bases were not installed and the delivery people did not know how to install themThey made some calls and returned the chairs to have them installedWhen I called Morris to see when the chairs would be redelivered I was told not until JanuaryWe had already disposed of our old chairs and had family coming from Georgia for ChristmasThe salesman, [redacted] called back and said they would have them back out on Friday, December When the chairs came the delivery people scraped the arm of one of them on doorway damaging the leatherThe base of the other one was installed wrong and made a loud noise when the chair was taken out of the lounging positionThe installers said I w

Bought leather set and returned within day periodThey have yet to refund my money (months later!) Bought leather reclining set and after it was delivered, we did not like itWent to store, picked out different set, signed all paperwork for first set to be picked up and new deliveredDelivery of 2nd set was Dec 21, and I have yet to receive my credit backI returned pcs totally more than $They have not refunded it to the original method of paymentNo one answers when I call the store, no one returns emailsNo one does anythingI have spoken to different people and each one passes the buck to someone elseI have even tried to dispute the charge through the store credit card account, and they have not been able to do anythingSo I returned a more expensive set and now own a cheaper set, but am paying for the more expensive oneTheir customer service is questionable, bordering on theft

Part of our sofa came to us damaged and we still have not gotten the issue resolved- it has been months We spent close to 8000$ on a top of the line sofa (King Hickory sectional) and had it delivered in Oct Two of the legs were found to be damaged on delivery and I was told that they would be shipped from overseas and would be in in a few monthsI never heard anything and made several phone callsEach time I was told that Morris wasn't sure what happened and they were on on the wayI went into the Centerville store month ago to try to get some answers and was told that the parts actually come from NC and saw on the computer screen a note that said "Do not tell customer that legs were never ordered"I still have not received the legs- months since our counch was deliveredWhen I have called corporate customer service I have been promised that a supervisor would return my call in hrs, but this has not happened (after phone calls now, sometimes waiting for someon

Bought Table from AshleyHave had problems with the glue coming apart and bibles forming on the table I purchase this table from Ashley Furniture in September of Within months I had a service complaint out for bubbling of the tableThey sent a tech out who states the tables glue failed, and could not be fixedI called Morris back to find out when they table would be replacedThey told me the issue was my fault, and would not be replacing the tableAfter much back and forth, they sent another tech out who confirmed the same thing, glue failed, cant be fixedThis time Morris refused to replace the table and wanted to be able to fix itI agreedThey took the table for over a week When the table was returned, they used a different type of finishing color on the table (does not look the same- now looks like someone took permanent marker over the table in different areas.) I called and complained then about the different coloring of the tableThey told me too bad

I've had two things delivered, and both times the deliveries were late without a phone callThe contract says they will charge a fee if no one is there to take delivery, so it's a shame that they don't hold themselves to the same standards

I was told I would receive a refund within 7-business days from 3/6/18, and I still have not received my refund On November 24, 2017, I went into Morris Furniture located at [redacted] , [redacted] XXXXX to purchase a couch and loveseat they had advertised in a black Friday add I purchased a Wilson pkg pc set At the time of purchase I was told the item was out of stock "until mid January" On January 19, 2018, I was set up for delivery By this time I had given away my old furniture and had no living room furniture When the delivery men came in, they only had my couch to be delivered I was never advised that the loveseat was not being delivered with the sofa After calling the store, I was advised that the loveseat would not be delivered until mid February because of a "warehouse fire" I had already given away my old furniture and needed the loveseat for extra seating in my living room They sent me a "loaner" loveseat to use until my loveseat came in Howe

The definition of an "eligible" voter for the free furniture promotion was misrepresented by the sales repNo clarification of definition in contract I was told that if 69% of eligible Ohio voters voted in the Presidential Election, we would receive free furnitureThey (Morris/Ashley) equate that to 6,000,votersThis is misleadingAccording to the Ohio Secretary of State's Office, there are 7,861,registered voters6,000,of 7,861,voters represents 76.33% of votersWhen comparing percentages only, as the 69% advertisement states, I was misledThe difference appears to be what the definition of an "eligible" voter isI asked this question to my sales rep, who stated that 6,000,is an approximate number that equates to 69% of registered voters in OhioNowhere on the contract does it state what an "eligible voter" isSo assuming the sales rep was correct, I moved forward with the sale If I had known that non-registered voters were included in the count,

The furniture I purchased from Morris was defectiveAfter multiple repair attempts, I would like a refund We purchased a sofa, chair and ottoman from Morris on 8-19-The SOFA was delivered 9/15/ Crooked cushion seams were noticed right awayA repair tech came out and replaced the coversAround the same time, a hole was noticed in the right arm where the tag was attached to the couchAnother repair tech came out and tried to repair the leatherI refused this option and instead asked for a new couchDelivery of a new couch was attempted, but I refused to accept it because it came with cracked wood across the bottom frontCouch#was delivered 1/14/It appeared ok at firstThe cushions started sinking in within a few months and we had another repair appt on 7/11/New foam core was ordered and replaced 9/19/Another repair appt was scheduled a few months later (2/6/16) for sinking cushionsMorris wants to repair the couch again by reinforcing it underneathThis

On about October18, a Morris crew from their Fairborn distribution center delivered a bedroom suite to the girl upstairs at our ***- [redacted] entrance minutes later, we found our small maple foyer table turned on it's top, leg broken off and our flowers setting on top of the remaining legs Somehow, the last years the four able residents at this entrance have managed not to stumble into the corner of the foyer and damage this table After a phone convrsation with the Fairborn delivery coordinator, an e-mailed photo and trip to our local store to complain, a report of the complaint to Fairborn "corporate" by the service manager, and follphone calls, we are advised that Morris corporate continues to believe one of their delivery crew who claim they didn't do it Also that it' would be different if they were delivering furniture to us Not agreeing to accept a $repair for another Morris customer in good standing is unbelievable The many dozens of complaints since Morris corporate agreed with the Dayton Revdex.com last May to make necessary changes to their customer service procedures and policies, indicates the same personnel at Morris are still following the same customer-unfriendly policies

We did respond to this complaint on 1/30/and our response is showing in your system I have included it below in case you are still missing it ThanksThis homeowner has recently purchased this propertyHe was not involved in any discussion about repairs to this home or the work we contracted to repair, nor has he spent a penny with our companyNow five years later he wants to second-guess decisions that were made and demands to know why it wasn't done right the first timeAn independent third party engineer inspected the work that was performed and certified that it was done correctly and within industry standardsOur Lifetime warranty states that there is no charge for adjustments if repairs can be performed by adjusting piers we have in the groundThere are 8-such piers that need adjustment and there is no charge for such adjustments, however, there is an area where piers are not present and two more piers are needed to make improvements in that areaThe current homeowner was told by the seller that the house was completely covered by warranty if they ever had any issues, but made no effort to verify that information with usIt's now somehow our fault and we're a SCAMWe wouldn't be in business for years if we were "RUNNING A SCAM"

In April I purchased a defective sectional couch from Morris Morris has no sense of urgency It is October and my couch is still not fixed I would like to file a complaint against Morris Home Furniture Store located at [redacted] XXXXX Their phone number is (XXX) XXX-XXXX In April I purchased a sectional couch from Morris The couch has powered leg and head rests The delivery person who delivered the couch did not test the motors and left He also dropped the piece in my living room which may have caused the damage itself On top of that, it appeared he did not assemble the cough properly because a section was out of alignment with the other sections (the angle of the back rest was lower than the other sections It was an eyesore I was not impressed with the service rendered to say the least When I discovered the motor was broken I called customer service They said the parts needed for repair are made out of the country and take 9-

Delivery men left nails sticking out of the feet of the sofa and it damaged my floor I sent a detailed letter with photos to Morris on February 1, I have not heard back from them as of this date I originally purchased two sofas and a dining setA piece of the dining set broke, as did one of the sofasMorris satisfactorily resolved those issues with a billing credit and allowing me to exchange the sofas for a sectionalI spent significantly more money on the sectionalWhen the sectional was delivered, the deliverymen had to remove two of the feet to get it to fit through the door and down the stairsThey fully set up the sectional but unbeknownst to me, two of the feet on the sofa had nails sticking out of them (all the other feet had rubber pads on them where the nails were) and the men had not connected the sectional together where the two sofas meetThe sofas kept separating so I moved them apart to see why they weren't connected, and when I did the nails in the fe
