My experience with this store has been absolutely horribleI ordered a Captains Bed for my 10yr old before Christmas and was told the bed would be delivered December 22nd which was ThursdayOn the day the bed was supposed to be delivered I received a phone call from Morris that day cancelling the delivery The delivery was then pushed back to Tuesday December 27thOn the 27th the delivery guys showed up and was not given all the pieces to the bedThey showed me exactly what was on the order from the store(Not their fault)The warehouse was notified by the delivery guys and they said they would take care of itI did not receive a call from customer serviceI called them back the next day and was told they are aware and a manager was going to call me backThe weekend came still no callI called again after the New Year spoke with a young lady at the store who stated she would have a manager to call me backNo callI finally gave up and requested they refund me and come get what was left out my house not once but twiceThe items were supposed to be picked up Saturday January 14th and it's still at my houseI received no call from Morris stating they were not coming however I received delivery confirmations I guess for the pick up Another issue the insurance they offer you with the purchase of furnitureYes I bought a couch from here tooMy cushions were damaged by some staples that were in the back of the couch that were hidden and tore the cushionsThey had some guy come out to the house he took a few pictures of the cushions and leftThat was also before ChristmasI finally received a call from Morris on Sunday January 15th stating they were just sending me cushion covers not three replacement cushionsSo I guess having this Insurance is pointless if they are not going to replace damaged ItemsI'm done with this storeI am closing my account I would not refer a friend, family member or a enemy to this storeIt's been a BIG HEADACHE(Don't waste your money)

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: The business is correct that I have not spent a penny with their company, but I am a warranty holder for work they have done, so how much money I have spent with them is irrelevantThe business did not address the lie their representative told when he entered my home and told my wife that all the work being recommended would be covered by the warranty, nor did they address the threat the owner made to not cooperate when I told him we would rather do business with a different company since we could no longer trust the work done by Centex Foundation RepairI have also asked for all the documentation on the foundation work done on this house, and have received no documentation of a 3rd party engineer inspection.I have talked to several engineers that tell me this is a popular scam among foundation repair companies, to leave a spot or without beams so that if somebody calls for warrantied work, they can charge for new beams and not have to dig without getting paidIt is clear representative from Centex came into my home and said all the necessary work would be covered by warranty only to be overridden by a greedy and dishonest business owner that would rather be paid to put in new beams than live up to the 'warranty' they offerRegards, [redacted] ***

Received replacement furniture from Morris Furniture and they delivered new furniture in Nov 2015 that had a broken frame and no repairs to date I filed a complaint with BBB previously concerning furniture we purchased from Morris Furniture (complaint ID# XXXXXXXX). With your input I thought the issue was resolved. Morris allowed us to select another leather two piece set and it was delivered and the defective set taken away. When the delivery of the replacement set was placed in our living room (in November 2015) I noticed it cushions did not look right and a portion was leaning. The delivery gentleman took pictures with his pad and stating something is wrong and I will call it in and someone will be here in approx. 4 days for repairs. When the repair person looked at the couch, the first thing he asked us if the delivery crew dropped the coach. We have no way of knowing this and he stated the frame was bent. He suggested we not use it until they order the part and repair it.

On november 18th my wife and I purchased a new sectional couch and ottoman set We were told at that time the set we picked out was a very popular one and that it would be weeks before we would get it We were ok with this time frame and reasoning At week we had not heard anything from the company about scheduling for delivery my wife called in just to see when we might be able to schedule, as she was getting ready to be going back to work from surgery the following week she was told that it was going to be another weeks before it came in she informed the representative that it had been the weeks and she was checking on delivery The rep responded with laughing and said be patient it is almost here At week my wife called in again to check about delivery She was told that the couch was due to be delivered to the warehouse that week and we could do delivery the following week Because of this update we started preparing our house for the new furniture We got rid of our previous furniture to make room for the new furniture(Big Mistake) Now at week we still had heard nothing from the company about delivery or the status of the couch I called in to see if the couch was ready for scheduling of delivery I was informed it still was not in the warehouse and that the rep was going to check on the status and call me back I waited hours and heard nothing I called back and was told that it could take up to hours before they got an answer about where the couch was hours later still no call from the company and my wife called again to see if there was an update She was then told by a manager that he didn't know why anyone was telling us that it should be in any of the times beforeThe system shows that it is going to be another 2-weeks before the couch ever gets to the warehouse We are now looking at weeks before we ever get our couch Not once during this process has the company ever called us to inform us of the delays We have had to call in every time only to find out that the time for delivery is even farther out than we were told the last time To say the least we are not happy at all with the communication or service that we are receiving from Morris Furniture The only thing that they are offering us is to take off the delivery charge

Free Furniture Voter Turnout Promotion Morris had a promotion stating free furniture if 69% of Ohio votes We understand this will be achieved However, Morris has already expressed that the promotion offer was not met because we did not reach 6M votes How did they get 6M, they used a clever word called eligible voters instead of registered voters How can an eligible voter not registered vote, they can't There are 7.8M registered voters in Ohio, there is no elegible math here Please look into their promotion It was a clever type scam if you ask me

Advertised promotion not honored The promotion stated if 69% of eligible voters turned out to vote then your purchase of $or more would be freeThey are now saying they needed million votes to get the free furniture percent of Ohio voters did vote but not millionThey told us one thing and then told us another after the factI need a clear explanation of how they got to the number of million votersIf you check any of the official election sites they clearly state that over 69% of Ohio voters voted and now I need a refund!

We purchased a new sectional and after it was sand the delivery team left, we started to remove the tags and found a number of defectsI returned to the store and met with the Salesperson and the General Manager and they agreed to replace the furnitureDelivery was set for Dec15, but the day before, I was told that corporate is refusing the exchangeSo, they have your money, they deliver furniture with defects and refuse to make a correction Well, it's only a few thousand dollars, right? I placed an order almost 7 months ago and haven't gotten the correct items. I'm paying for the wrong delivery and customer service is terrible. Order placed March 30 for Minden live edge table and bench and 4 Creston Slat back chairs XXXXXXXXX. Table and bench were delivered May 23 and table poorly assembled with incorrect hardware upon delivery. Poor quality and service I purchased an entertainment stand from Morris and it had a damaged door After contacting them a new door was delivered over one year later However the door was the wrong sizeThey sent another door which was incorrectly sized as wellThe third party service technician and Morris's in-house technician both agree that the doors sent are wrong The Morris technician installed the door, took pictures and said that the company would be getting back with me Because the door is the wrong size it is out of square with the opening Morris did call my home phone and left a message that they reviewed the pictures and determined, that even though the door was the wrong size and it met "industry standards" In addition, when the first door was installed I was promised a $gift card which still has not arrived

Contacted Guardian (insurance offered by Morris Home Furniture) concerning damages on my sectional that I purchased on 02-21-2015, order # [redacted] I contacted Morris on 07-08-about getting someone out to my home to look at damages on my sectionalI was told to contact the insurance company that was purchased when I bought the sectionalI then contacted Guardian and informed them of tears in the fabric and framework issues with an armrest and the wedge pieceThey finally sent someone out after a month to look at the damagesThe repair guy came to my home on Monday August 6thHis name was ***He then proceeded to take the material apart from the armrest and then tried to use a brace to hold together the armrest and the couch together and while screwing the screws in, the wood ended up splitting, causing even more damages trying to just get a temporary fix doneHe then proceeded to say that he could not fix the problemHe also mentions that he could not fix the tears
