Morris home furniture voting sale 69% of all VOTERS NOT 6million eligable voters On sunday I arrived at morris home furniture and was approached by seperate salesmen that claimed they were having a voting sale that if 69% of ohio VOTERS vote in the election and I purchased $1,or more furniture that my purchase would be freenever once was million mentionedOnce I purchased my furniture I left the store and waited on monday night they sent me a NEW email saying their NEW stipulations of million ELLIGABLE voters had to vote that is when I took to fb to check if anyone else was seeing thisI then found out tuesday that the 69.32% of ohio had voted but morris home furniture was sticking by the million elligable voters which would put it at 76% considering that just because you are elligable (18years of age and being a immigrant) does NOT mean you are a REGISTERED voter making their contract voidAs well as this sale began october 19th and register to vote ENDED on octo

The furniture I purchased had problems from the beginning and I kept calling customer service with issues. Fabric stretching on seat and back and not holding it's shape, tears in fabric, ottoman's top cushion not staying on top, kept sliding over the side, back cushions didn't have enough polyfil so they didn't retain their shape. They always had different responses about the problems I was having, my pieces were from overseas and it would take months to repair, my pieces weren't properly coded so that I could get a replacement, that's normal wear. My calls were never returned, and when I called it was always "I do apologize" every single time. I was the one calling relentlessly for an entire year only to have a technician come out 3 times to try to fix the problem and him actually tell me that it wasn't going to help, it was how it was made. Finally, after a year, they agreed to take it back minus 15% restocking and delivery fees. I agreed, to get it done and over with, only it wasn't. They picked up the furniture on September 10. On September 28, I called for an update. Ashley C [redacted] (Customer Care Manager) said I was given a refund on September 11, it could take 2 billing cycles to post. What?! I called my credit card, they said no, it only takes 48-72 hours. I waited and waited and contacted Ashley C [redacted] again, she stopped responding. I had a very difficult time getting her to call me back when it was escalated to her many months prior. I finally had to dispute the charge on my credit card. In December, Rachel N [redacted] (Accounting Department) said yes, I was due a refund. But she wouldn't credit my account til this dispute was resolved. Seriously? It took 3 months for them to credit my account with constant vigilance on my part. I will NEVER EVER make a purchase from Ashley Homestore again.

I have had the worst experience with this store and this companyWe ordered furniture in the 23rd of November with a delivery date of 08decI received the email stating my furniture would be delivered on that day as wellI got a phone call the day before saying only one of the pieces I ordered would be delivered and we set up a delivery date for the 2nd piece for 21decThe 8th came and went with no delivery at all ! I called the store at the end of my delivery window and no one could seem to help all day long ! I called timesAnd no one even apologized ! I had gotten rid of my furniture the night before and was hosting a holiday gathering with patio furniture since my new furniture did not show upFinally at the end of the day someone called me back and said the computer had miscalculated inventoryThe fellow I talked to told me that they absolutely would be taking the delivery charge off of my billI was promised free delivery when I ordered my furnitureI am so unhappy at this point but agree to reschedule my delivery date for 19decfor the sofa and keep my delivery date for the 2nd piece on the 21st We sit on patio furniture for days My husband takes a half day on the 19decto accommodate the delivery window we are givenHurray ! I get an email that says both pieces are in and will be delivered ! Amazing ! I am tracking the delivery and it gets to our home BEFORE the delivery window and I have to have a neighbor break into my house, because who knows when this furniture would ever actually show up againGuess what ? They only have one piece of furnitureOkFineThe order says it was the love seat that was delivered but it was actually the sofaI am now worried that I will get another sofa on the 21decdelivery I did not however receive an email telling me my delivery window for the 21st so I call the store on the 20thThey have no record as to the delivery for the 21st but the item is in their warehouse and they have no idea why it wasn't delivered with the sofaSchedule me a delivery for the 23decYay ! Maybe now I can get my Christmas tree up because I will be able to arrange my furniture Loveseat is out for delivery ! Delivery drivers knock on doorAnnounce their arrival and say they will be back with the loveseat from the truckThey hop in and hop out and consult each other before coming back to the doorThe sofa is ripped across the front and advise us not to accept deliveryThis was several hours agoI have reached out to the GM of the store via email (because I am at work) and the corporate office with no response so far I have never had such poor customer service from any company at anytime in my life and will never encourage anyone to shop with this company

Am getting charged a restocking fee to return furniture due to untimely return of merchandise I purchased sectional recliners, chaise, power recliner, cocktail lift top table, and sectional console on Nov All this furniture was delivered Nov Two of the sectional recliners and the cocktail table were damaged at time of delivery to my home I asked to have the furniture returned back to the store and was told by the delivery guys that I could not return the furniture to the store I was told there was not enough room on the truck to take the items back I was told I would have to talk to the store to schedule a pick up of the damaged itemsAll of the pieces listed above had saw dust and dirt on them I took pictures with my phone and drove the pictures to the store The cocktail table not only had saw dust and dirt inside the drawers and on top of the table, there were scrapes and damage to the table in or more spots Two of the recliners had bur

I purchased bed it didn't come with the bunky board I called so I can get one they are asking me to pay extra for something that without I can't use We purchased a bed for my son on early DecemberThey told us it wouldn't be ready until the 22ndWe called to see if it was ready, but they postponed their availability until January Finally we got the bed and they didn't give us the bunky boardI called, and the manager at the store mentioned that I didn't pay for it So now I have a dollar bed and I can't sleep on? Because on the main parts of the bed was not included in the priceWhere would I put the mattress in?? Why should I buy the frame and not the board!!! The manager offer delivering the bunk board but we had to pay extra for it!!! And, it won't be available for another weeksSo that's month and a half after the original purchase

This company has horrible customer service practicesThe $1,power recliner I purchased quit working so I called for serviceTook several days for them to call back to schedule a technicianNow I am waiting on a part that may fix the problemSo far it is over two weeks and no resultsI requested a call from someone besides their phone agent and that has not happened eitherThey just don't careIf nothing happens soon I guess I will have to escalate my concerns to get action

We ordered a couch on 12/11/from MorrisIt was delivered on 1/26/It arrived brokenIt is 3/4/and our couch still hasn't been returned I contacted customer service on 1/27/that our new couch had a shattered wood panel that I did not notice until I lifted the couch up to put rubber feet on itI did not expect to have to go to this length of inspection on a new couch when it was deliveredThey notified me they would order a new couch but it would take 6-weeksI had sold my old couch and let them know I needed somewhere to sit and I could not wait that longThen they offered to pick up the couch and repair with lead time of about a week or twoAgain not fast enoughThen they offered in house repair, which I said would be fine as long as repair was to put the couch in like new condition, not a simple patch repair of the wood thoughI had to take an additional half day off to meet them to repairHowever upon arrival they said they had to take the couch with themO

The lack of repair of my chair In November I got a hold of them about my chair being broke they sent people here to fix it they ordered the wrong parts They said they needed to re-order the parts they came in I waited until March the rd they called and canceled the appointment I got back in touch with Morris I cannot get back to me until March and they tell me it's the wrong part again I got back in touch with them they they cannot give me a time for my parts to come in on my chair to be faxed I asked him to just give me a new chair because it's been ongoing since November and they told me no this is completely unacceptable in anybody's eyes they just need to replace my chair and get it over with it always somebody else's fault not theirs

Buyer Beware!!! Morris Furniture customer service is a joke I filed a warranty claim January 30, The legitimate claim was approved As of July 9, the issue is still not resolved Every single stage of the process has been a delay and misdirect exercise They do not return phone calls and emails The entire process is anti-customer.....and the managers acknowledge it is a joke I will take all my future business elsewhere

Warranty worth NOTHING To all my friends and family DO NOT!!!!! Four month nightmare just to purchase expensive bedroom furniture I don't usually warn people away from a company and I have never filed a complaint before, however, please avoid buying anything from Morris/ Ashley furniture stores unless you want to experience a complete nightmare!!! I ordered a couch and ottoman and paid extra to have Morris deliver the items to my homeAfter the items were placed in my house, the Morris delivery people informed me that a part of the couch did not have any feet with itThey said they would order new ones, or that we could go to the warehouse in Fairborn to get the feet ourselves Went to the warehouse and had to wait for over an hour for several employees to try and find the correct feetWe asked the woman working customer service if there was anyone she could call to order another set of feet (in addition to the ones they were unable to locate when we went to the warehouse) and she had no idea what to do or how to go about seeing if the feet we needed were in stock or how to order another set of feetIt was ridiculousI asked to be refunded the delivery fee, which I think is more than reasonable seeing as they failed to deliver and I had to go pick up the remaining parts myself, but the customer service rep has not even responded to that requestIt has been over weeks now Very disappointed in both the service and the inability of their own customer service rep to provide any ACTUAL customer service
