Mr. Cooper Reviews (%countItem)

I have been calling Mr. Cooper since June last year in an attempt to get them to prepare a new escrow analysis to no avail. Due to typo on time of transferring from Nationstar to Mr. Cooper - they charged me half of my taxes (XXXX-XXXX). Now they tripled the amount for over a year. So during 2017 until today I am paying double my taxes.... no one to talk to... meanwhile thousands of dollars stuck in the escrow! Stupidity and neglect.

Beware of doing business with PUF. I had a hero loan attached to my taxes which added a substantial amount yearly. I paid off the Hero Loan and called customer service, tax dept and sent fax with new info from county to verify new amount. This was done in Feb before taxes were due. PUF acknowledged they received messages and correct amt would be sent. NO they sent the wrong amount in March 2018 and will not give me an updated analysis until July 2018. This is costing me more monthly, plus stress and my conversations fall on deaf ears. I have even contacted the Corporate office but got nowhere. What a joke that Revdex.com has given this company A+ rating. They deserved a P-.

Been paying for 4 years with not even one time late and because my husband file bankruptcy I been paying over the phone for a while and no one never mentioned me about their processing fee, I paid today and I got surprised that I have to pay that and can't waive it because it was their policy and the manager has no power to waive it? *** is the power of the manager? Greedy company they are getting their salary from hardworking people who is paying a higher interest and can't waive that one time fee which is their fault?

They are liars cheat their clients offered a help program for hurricane Irma and everything was lying. They offered a HELP program not payments for up to 6 month without any repercussion and now they are charging me all payments ARE LIARS.

my loan was sold to this company and as I approach less than 5000.00 I sought refinance...stupid me I started with these guys...they repeatedly asked for repeats on forms and put me between 2 agents, had an appraisal too...then they said I didn't qualify because of appraisal but yet I didn't have to pay for it...thank god but just having it done was a hassle...now I am dealing with Royal United and so far so good....at least they asked for copy of drivers license...should have checked this sight first...I question A- from me they get an F for wasting my time.....

I have been calling Mr. Cooper since January in an attempt to get them to prepare a new escrow analysis to no avail. The county appraisal office refunded us about 1/2 of the 2017 tax due, however, Mr. Cooper mistakenly applied another resident's refund to our account, which was much less than ours. The appraisal office provided me with documentation, which was faxed along with other pertinent documents to Mr. Cooper in Jan and Feb. It clearly shows a mistake was made. As of today, they still have not made the adjustments and refunded our overage. In addition, our monthly payment increased when it should have decreased. I would like to get this resolved without obtaining legal counsel but am not hopeful. A notarized letter is being prepared in hope that someone in leadership will be responsive. Each time I call regarding this issue is like the first time - it is exasperating. My husband and I regret our mortgage was sold to this company.

Mr. Cooper, formerly known as Nationstar Mortgage, is a predatory company that I recommend you stay away from. This company recently told me that because of the hurricane in South Florida last September, I was in a zip code that allowed me a 3 month respite from making my mortgage payments and that they would tack the payments onto the end of my loan. Weeks later, after paying to have my home repaired, they sent a letter stating that I "may" qualify for that option or that there were "other" options I may qualify for.

I received a letter today telling me I did NOT qualify for that option and that my only other choice was to refinance - thus giving up my HAMP loan.

Sadly, I have been with this sg company for years and had tried 3 previous times to get a HAMP loan and was always denied and offered a horrible 2 year loan with excessive closing costs each time.Banking and am looking to see if my case is worthy of attorney representation.

This company is taking my current payments and applying them to the 3 months I thought I had a genuine respite for, so now I am showing late on my payments.

NEVER, EVER do business with this company! They will cheat you at every turn!

I would never advise any buyer or person to refinance with this company. After my VA home loan was sold to Nationstar Mortgage it started off fine. Yet their customer service is a complete failure only will follow a script and not help customers at all. I was given no options for being able to sell my property once I moved out of state and all real estate Agents failed and never posted my property no indication of help for short sale or signing the title over to the company to sell. After 2 years of trying to sell and talking to the company they foreclosed on my house and took me to court as if they did not know where I was or how to get in touch with me. They did not serve any paperwork while on the phone with them every other week to get rid of the property. Their lawyers are just as shady and the company told me I had to talk to their lawyers which would be illegal as they did not serve paperwork from the court. This company is a complete scam and WILL REFUSE ANY LOAN PROVIDED TO THE NEXT PROPERTY I MAY BE ABLE TO GET!!!!

Worst company ever I had an insurance claim they kept my check and would not release it and pay my contractors and fighting for 45 days to get the money released to pay my contractors and every time they come up with another excuse why they can't release the money would never ever recommend or use this company ever

Mr. Cooper Mortgage is without doubt the worst bank/mortgage lender that I have ever tried to work with. Their business practices are intentionally deceitful, falsely represented, unorganized and terrifyingly unscrupulous. They routinely 'find an error' on their customer's accounts that forces the mortgage holder to either pay additional funds or go into a 'Loan Modification Program' with increased rates and longer terms. They will place a negative credit rating anytime the slightest discrepancy takes place and their financial statements are regularly inconsistent. Although their general account staff is polite, most of them have limited powers and are unable to accomplish basic requests without permission from management. The management is unwilling to fix any mistakes (even the mistakes they caused) and are unapologetic. I would NOT recommend this companies services to my worst enemy. They should be investigated for their deceptive business practices, as well as their "unfair and deceptive" mortgage modifications publicized in their class action lawsuit.

The Revdex.com gave Mr. Cooper Mortgage an A- rating despite them getting a 87% negative customer review. This is also very alarming and allows people to draw their own conclusion!
