Greetings,We have looked into this case and found that the customer opted in to a subscription upon purchase, and we had first been notified yesterday that this customer did not want this subscription anymoreOn our part, We sent different emails to the customer notifying them that their free trial period would be coming to an end and the payments of $would beginWith that being said, we do understand that the customer could have missed these emails for one reason or another, and simply forgotten about the trial period, so we have provided months of refunds ($each) for a total refund of $109.89.Please contact me if you have any further questions[redacted] @mychoicesoftware.com

I have nothing but good things to say about "My Choice Software"I purchased a copy of Microsoft Project and it works perfectlyI had the "My Choice" tech (***) install it and he was very fast and efficientThey gave me options on available setup times, after choosing which was most convenient, [redacted] (tech) contacted me and performed the installation for meIt worked out very well for me because my browser would not support the install and he took all the necessary steps to bypass All in all it was a great experience

I was very happy with the service The price was great, and I received clear instructions in under minutes Would definitely use them again!

I recently purchase Microsoft Office from My Choice Software and had a very nice professional and refreshing experience I wasn't quite ready to install the downloaded program so I called their toll free number to ask a question The representative that I talked with was friendly, helpful and offered to assist if I had problems with the installation It's not very often anymore to see such great customer service I have saved their website to my browser favorites and intend to have them be my first "go to" source when I am looking for software The price was very reasonable and you just can't beat the customer service I have already recommended My Choice Software to several of my friends

Good Afternoon ***,I have taken a look into your case and see that all keys provided to you were issued to us directly from Microsoft.These licenses are meant to live and die on (1) PC, so after they are used by an end-user, they are marked as "invalid" or "pirated" so that Microsoft's team will not allow further installs on a (1) install key.? This process ensures that people will not abuse licenses and attempt to install them on more than one machine when the terms state that they are meant for one.On our end, we wish this wasn't the case as there have been various programs in the past that allow multiple installs, and there are different types of licensing (volume licensing and 365) that allow multiple installs.? It can be expected these variations in Microsoft's terms could cause confusion, which is why we have a sales and support team who are all available to assist in selecting the license, and we do provide this information on the product specifications area of our product pages that this applies to.I have included a link below to Microsoft's official stance on these licenses (The license you purchased was Office 2013).? My Choice is trying to blame [redacted] for the rules involving the software, but the rules are not the problemThe problem is that My Choice didn't make me aware of the rules when I bought the softwareIf they had, I would never have bought itWhen I subsequently had a computer problem and had to change computers, I lost the software which I had had less than a year, and I had to buy the software againMy Choice should compensate me for the lossI used the software for about a year, so I don't demand the full price, but they should compensate me for part of the new purchase I had to make Regards, [redacted]

Buyer beware! A fool and his money are soon parted. And I'm that fool.

I purchased a Win 10 upgrade eight days ago. $82. My VISA card was charged within milliseconds of clicking "place order."

The Win 10 would not install on my laptop.

I was sent another link. That link didn't work either.

I took screenshots as requested by the customer service people. My Choice wrote back and said my computer was missing a critical component. I could go into BIOS and the CSR would "walk me through" by phone but the CSR didn't recommend this and said I should reply for a refund.

So I did.

Then I received an email stating the refund would take about five to seven days and maybe Microsoft wouldn't approve it anyway (and what Microsoft has to do with it is not clear -- I didn't pay Microsoft) and there would be a 15% re-stocking fee... started to sound like a real run around.

So I called Chase VISA and alerted them of the situation. What would you have done?

Chase said that only the merchant could reverse the charge but after the statement period ended (on the 6th) Chase would contact My Choice Software.

No "charge back" was issued.

Yesterday I received a spiteful email from My Choice Software which said in effect that well, since you contacted your bank, we're going to bleed you to death before you ever see your $82.

Real nice.

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below I have sent documentation from Microsoft that says that the keys has been pirated Also, the documentation through the chat logs says that these keys were NOT flagged as pirated from reinstallation on the same computers As stated previously, our business formats all PC's when there is turnover and reinstalls the operating system along with the MS Office software We have been performing these reinstalls for more than years and we have not had any issues with any MS Office keys upon reinstallation with the exception of of the that MyChoiceSoftware has sold us I provided your staff a copy of the chat logs along with the case number from Microsoft Again, in this chat log, the Microsoft agent clearly says that these keys have been flagged as pirated and NOT because I have reinstalled them The Microsoft agent also advised me to get keys reissued from the seller I also provided your staff a copy of my receipts for all license keys The receipts are dated 8/24/16, 9/7/and 10/28/ I first initiated contact with your company about this issue on 9/6/ I am again providing the receipts and Microsoft chat log for you to review Also, your company has informed me that you are double checking the Office keys using a freeware product called Microsoft PID Checker This is not a Microsoft product but freeware and yet you are relying on it for the validation of your Office keys As a year network administrator that is not an acceptable means of validating your Office keys and is not a practice of integrity by your business That very well may be the reason they are being pirated I will state again that our MS Office keys are only installed on the same original machines after OS reinstallation They are not used again on any other machine We are licensed for every machine we have There have been no hardware failures on any of the machines that contain these licenses and no hardware has been replaced You can’t expect these keys to not be used again because of reinstallation of the OS I am not accepting this response but am willing to accept refund of only of the pirated keys since they were purchased within a year of me contacting your company with this issue Regards, [redacted]

Lets start with there isn't a negative star. Sales personnel is super nice at first, but explained issue that I didn't need Windows 10 Pro, because I had to buy a PC laptop that had a Windows 10 already installed to run Software/Program that did not work on my Mac. I am really disappointed in the way My Choice Software would not refund me my purchase, even after I sent them an email where Parallels did so after I installed their software. I even asked them, not to refund me and just exchange for Office 365 Personal 1yr subscription, where I would have taken a $40 loss. Nope they wouldn't have it, told me they could give my a discount. I said how much? $5 and that came from the manager.

What is sad, to me is at first they told me they can't refund me, because Micro Soft would not allowed. So, I called MS and asked if a third party would be able to refund a customer on Software installed for less than 4 days (Bought on Sept.24 asked for refund on Sept.27). They could if they wanted to, We would have (MS). Well My Choice received another call, from me for the forth time and they explained that wasn't the truth. At the end that is the truth and they choose not to refund, exchange or help.
