We contacted the vendor regarding this matter and they indicated that Mr*** did not make the purchase thru the MyPoints website and, additionally, used a coupon that was not from the MyPoints siteSince the purchase was not made through MyPoints, Points cannot be credited to his account for this purchase

We are in receipt of the complaint filed by Mr*** regarding his claim that MyPoints.com, Inc("MyPoints") failed to award his MyPoints account with the proper amount of
earned points in connection with a Priceline travel purchase and survey Points
MyPoints earns revenue from being credited with member purchases by our partner sitesPoints are not awarded to members until their purchases and/or transactions are reported as being completed via the MyPoints website by the merchantIn particular, it may take up to or days for travel Points to be awarded due to the fact that the travel must be completed prior to Points being awarded to the member
However, I can verify that Mr*** was awarded 3,Points on May 18, for his Priceline purchase even though his travel will not be completed until after May 27th
In regards to Mr***'s survey issue, surveys are hosted by survey partners and as such MyPoints has little control over the experienceIt's possible that there are errors with the son either MyPoints' end or the partner's, but if errors occur we recommend members do the following troubleshooting procedures prior to submitting a ticket:
Is your operating system software current? Old versions of Windows may not be compatible with the survey platform
Is your browser version up-to-date? Surveys function best with latest versions of Firefox, Internet Explorer and ChromeSurveys may work in older or different browser versions, but keep in mind that lesser used browsers like Safari or Opera may not be compatible with many survey platforms
Are your browser settings interfering with the survey programming? You may need to enable Javascript or Flash
Do you have multiple survey tabs or windows open? Finishing one survey and opening a new one in a new tab could cause errors as the new tab/window may not properly refresh to register that the survey was completed
Additionally, In order for Points to post to a member's account, upon finishing a survey he must redirect back to MyPoints where he will receive a notification on whether he qualified or non-qualified for that studySometimes surveys will ask the member to click a button in order to redirect back to MyPointsIf a member doesn't do this, our servers will not be able to identify that a survey has been finished and award Points to the member's accountIf this happens in the future, the member should go to his online account statement and find the "Clickthru" for the survey in questionSelecting the item will open a window with a link that allows the member to directly submit a related inquiry to MyPoints Member ServicesFinally, copy and paste any relevant information into the response fieldWe will investigate the issue and take the appropriate action to resolve it
Since we have not experienced or have had members reporting issues regarding systematic survey points awarding issues, we are unable to award Mr*** 20,points in regards to this matter
This information should address Mr***'s complaint concernsWe appreciate his patience and hope that he will continue being a valued MyPoints member

We are in receipt of the complaint filed by Mr*** regarding his claim that MyPoints.com, Inc("MyPoints") failed to award his MyPoints account with the proper
amount of earned points in connection with a Walmart purchase
MyPoints earns revenue from being credited with member purchases by our partner sitesMyPoints can identify when one of our members clicks through to one of our merchant sites, however the merchant needs to verify that a purchase and/or other specifics regarding the offer has been met on their websitePoints are not awarded to members until their purchases and/or transactions are reported as being completed by the merchant
In this case, however, a customer care representative notified Mr*** that his Walmart purchase was ineligible to receive Points since his purchase was for two Straight Talk Unlimited Text, Talk and Web Access Day Service CardsAccording to the pop up disclaimer which was presented once Mr*** clicked on a Walmart link on the MyPoints website and required him to click "Continue" before proceeding to the Walmart website: "Purchases from Sam's Club & Samsclub.com, Pharmacy, Travel, Financial Services, tires, optical, Wal-Mart Connect Internet Services, Cell Phones, Prepaid phone/service cards, Gift Cards, and Online Gift Cards are not eligible for Points." Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 7, 2014/09/10) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
Answer from MyPoints is very dishonestOriginally I received an e-mail from MyPoints with Walmart offer, when I clicked "Earn Points" it forwarded me directly to Walmart websiteThere is no "Continue" button or any disclaimer pop-up, as they fraudulently claimAll additional e-mails from MyPoints received later that weree related to WalMart offers have the same pattern, no need to click any "Cotinue", or any disclaimer pop-upsAfter clicking on "Get Points" within any e-mail, it forwards customer directly to WalMart websiteThis way MyPoints gets paid for the traffic to WalMart and customers are deceived with not getting any points they expect to get
Also statement by MyPoints - "In this case, however, a customer care representative notified Mr*** that his Walmart purchase was ineligible...." is very misleadingFor several months I received several "canned" replies, and only after complaint to Revdex.com received above described statement
Since no disclaimer was presented at a time of my purchase, I demand points to be credited to my accountIn addition, MyPoins should change all their e-mails to show any disclaimers when customer clicks to "Get Points" button in a future, and stop their deceiving practices
Unfortunately Revdex.com does not allow me to sent an attachment, so as additional proof see below a copy of the e-mail from MyPoints, nowhere it has any mention of ineligibility of any other than Gift Card purchases

In researching this case, it appears that Pharmacare credited MyPoints with the purchase, however, the tracking identification that identified Ms*** as the member was corrupted and her account was not therefore properly credited with the purchaseOn July 18, we credited Ms***'s account with Points for this transaction

We are in receipt of the rebuttal response from Ms***As noted in our previous response, Points are not awarded to members until their purchases and/or transactions are reported as being completed via the MyPoints website by the merchantIn some cases, data may become corrupted as in the Pharamcare purchase or the merchant may report that the transaction was not completed using the MyPoints website, such as the case with Ms***'s Hotels.com purchaseThe list of recommendation included in our response was not to accuse Ms*** of using another site to make her Hotels.com purchase, but to illustrate that there are other reasons why Points are sometimes not accredited or tracked by the merchant and credited to MyPoints and therefore to the member
Additionally, Ms*** should note that the Terms of Service, to which she agreed to upon the creation of her MyPoints account, state: "Member understands that, in some cases, there may be delay in crediting of Points for promotions of advertisers or partners due to advertisers' or partners' failure to provide necessary information to MyPoints.com for such crediting of PointsMyPoints.com will not responsible or liable for the delay or failure to credit Points in such event."

We are in receipt of the Revdex.com Complaint from Ms*** regarding her claim that MyPoints.com, Inc("MyPoints") failed to award her MyPoints account with the proper amount of
Points for a donation she made in May
Ms***'s states in her complaint that she accepted an offer of 1,Points for making a charitable donation of $to Feeding America on May 26, However, according to our records, the specific offer language states: "If you sign up to make recurring monthly donations of $or more, you will earn 1,Points for your initial donation and Points for each subsequent donation for months, up to 4,Points."
According to Feeding America, Ms*** did not sign up to make reoccurring monthly donations and therefore the Points were not awarded to Ms***'s account per the offer requirementsIn the event Ms*** did sign up for the reoccurring monthly donations but used an email address different than her MyPoints account, it may be that Feeding America was unable to identify her as a MyPoints member and Points were therefore unable to be awarded

No such language was included in the offer language

We are in receipt of the rebuttal response filed by Ms*** regarding a Feeding America offer presented by MyPoints in May
MyPoints often changes its marketing campaigns from month to month which can affect offer requirements or how many Points are earned for a specific action at any given timeThis is done based on either the partner's monthly advertising budget or for optimization testing to determine what offers members find most compelling
I have attached for review the Feeding America offer language as it was presented to MyPoints members in May Subsequent Feeding America campaigns may not necessarily reflect the same offer that was advertised at any time prior, which is why Ms*** may have seen a Feeding America offer with a different set of requirements for earning Points on the MyPoints site or in emails in June and/or July

I disagree with merchant's representation of the offerFortunately, I have a remedy in that there are other rewards programs available that do not require one to resort to the Revdex.com to receive a response to emails
I have attached a copy of the invoice from our visit on 11/5/2015. This was our 1st visit to the home on ** *** *** The invoice states one of the issues was a dirty "flame sensor" I am sorry if our technician misspoke and said thermocouple as there is not one on this
unit. It is our policy to keep the customers best interest in mind and when there is a system that is over years old (this boiler is approx25years old) and is in need of costly repairs we like to give the option of replacing vs repairing so they can make the best choice for them. Our comfort advisors are consultants and not technicians so they would not be able to check the boiler for any service issues. I am sorry if that was presented as such.I am very concerned if the pictures our technician showed are not of the boiler and venting in this basement as that would be un ethical and against all company policies. I would like to suggest a couple things if I may1) would be for RGE to come out as an unbiased 3rd party to check the venting as we found CO in the flue and want to make sure it is safe to operate the boiler/water heater
2) I would like for our service manager, David Betlem, to come out to verify that the pictures we have are or are not of the venting and heat exchanger located at this address. We can arrange it so *** is there at the same time as the Rep from RGE if you are more comfortable with thatPlease let me know if this is something we can get set up so we can get this resolved.

In this case, however, a customer care representative notified Mr*** that his Walmart purchase was ineligible to receive Points since his purchase was for two Straight Talk Unlimited Text, Talk and Web Access Day Service CardsAccording to the pop up disclaimer which was presented once Mr*** clicked on a Walmart link on the MyPoints website and required him to click "Continue" before proceeding to the Walmart website: "Purchases from Sam's Club & Samsclub.com, Pharmacy, Travel, Financial Services, tires, optical, Wal-Mart Connect Internet Services, Cell Phones, Prepaid phone/service cards, Gift Cards, and Online Gift Cards are not eligible for Points." A copy of the disclaimer as seen on the website is attached for your review
Since Mr***'s purchase is specifically stated as ineligible by Walmart for Points, we are unable to award any Points to Mr*** for this transaction
I hope this information has successfully resolved Mr***'s complaintShould your office or Mr*** have any questions or need additional information, please feel free to contact me at ***@mypointscorp.com

Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 7, 2014/09/10) */

We are in receipt of the complaint filed by Mr*** regarding his claim that MyPoints.com, Inc("MyPoints") failed to award his MyPoints account with the proper amount of earned points in connection with a Walmart purchase
According to Mr***'s account record, his May 6, Walmart purchase was made though the MyPoints website and not through a BonusMail offerI have attached a copy of the recorded transaction for your reviewTherefore, since the disclaimer regarding ineligible items available for Points was visible, we are unable to award Mr*** any Points for this purchaseFurthermore, BonusMail offers do include disclosures regarding items that may not be eligible for Point earning opportunities
This information should successfully resolve Mr***'s complaint and MyPoints now considers this matter closed

We are in receipt of the Revdex.com Complaint filed by Ms*** regarding her claim that MyPoints.com, Inc("MyPoints") failed to award her MyPoints account with
the proper amount of earned points in connection with a Pharmacare and Hotels.com purchase
In researching this case, it appears that Pharmacare credited MyPoints with the purchase, however, the tracking identification that identified Ms*** as the member was corrupted and her account was not therefore properly credited with the purchaseOn July 18, we credited Ms***'s account with Points for this transaction
However, when we contacted Hotels.com regarding Ms***'s February purchase, they indicated that Ms*** used a source other than MyPoints.com to make her purchaseMyPoints earns revenue from being credited with member purchases by our partner sitesIf a member's actions prevent MyPoints from being credited by either the use of a non-MyPoints coupon/offer or by visiting the partner site by other means than directly through the MyPoints website, we are unable to award the member Points
However, as a one-time customer courtesy, MyPoints has awarded Ms***'s account with Points for this transaction, the amount of Points she would have earned had she completed this transaction using the MyPoints website
To prevent Point-crediting issues in the future, we recommend the following:
Make sure the member has tracking enabledMyPoints needs to send information to the merchant and cannot do so if the member has disabled tracking
Make sure the member does not have ad blocking software like AdBlock Plus, WOT or Noscript running
Make sure no other tabs or windows are open at the time the member is making the transaction
Make the purchase immediately after the member clicks through MyPoints
Do not click on other sites after clicking through MyPoints and prior to submitting the purchase order
Never use coupons or offers not found on MyPoints.com

We appreciate Ms***'s patience while trying to resolve this matter and hope that she will continue being a valued MyPoints member

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 8, 2015/11/30) */
Thank you *** *** for being a valued MyPoints memberMyPoints has recently implemented new security measures (such as date of birth verification in the redemption process) to protect our member's information and PointsThe MyPoints
Terms of Service (which the member agreed to during the registration process) requires all members to submit and maintain correct and accurate profile information, including date of birthUnfortunately, the member entered a date of birth on the website that did not match the date of birth in the member profile, and then the redemption process is frozen to protect the account from fraud or unauthorized access
We are happy to report that our customer service manager has worked directly with the member to update the date of birth on record and restore full account accessOur records show that the member was able to successfully access their MyPoints account and redeem for a $Macy's gift card on November 12,

We are in receipt of the Revdex.com Complaint filed by Ms*** regarding her claim that MyPoints.com, Inc("MyPoints") failed to award her MyPoints account with the

I have given Mypoints ample time to reach out to me via phone to correct these issues and although they said they have tried to reach me, I have no numbers missing or otherwise coming from their area, only exception is the Revdex.comNo emails, no voicemails, and because I had my current contact information updated on their site and had passed ** my current phone number to the Revdex.com, They would have no troubles reaching me unless they never tried in the 1st placeYes, after opening this case I was able to redeem my points, they were "able" to fix thatOddly enough since then I can no longer access areas I was able to look up before this case like account-point history or update profileI still cannot use their system to contact them eitherI'm certain this is an account problem and not my computer as we deducted that muchI want access to my account as before, no issuesIf not, I'd like to know why after all these years of loyal patronage they decided to limit/suspend my account with no explination whatsoever

As a matter of customer courtesy, we have awarded Ms***'s account with the 1,Points, however in the future she should, when required, use the email address associated with her MyPoints account when accepting offers and closely review the offer requirements
We appreciate Ms***'s patience while trying to resolve this matter and we hope that she will continue being a valued MyPoints memberIn the meantime, should your office or Ms*** have any questions or need additional information, please feel free to contact me at ***@mypointscorp.com

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
The business now represents that the specific offer language required "recurring monthly donations"The business however does not provide any supporting documentation
No such language was included in the offer language
Rather, the offer language as presented on the Mypoints.com website as recently as July 25th states "Make a one-time/initial donation"This is evidenced by a screen capture of the offer from the Mypoints.com websiteThere was no requirement to make a recurring monthly donation

This information should successfully resolve Ms***'s complaint and MyPoints now considers this matter closed

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
I do appreciate you bringing it to my attentionSincerely,

Thank you Ms*** for being a valued MyPoints memberWe apologize for the confusion and delay in awarding your Points
Some of our new member registration offers do have certain requirements on the first purchase to earn the extra
points, but those are always clearly communicated to our members at the time of registrationWe mistakenly thought you were part of that group and apologize for the confusion
As of December 2, we have awarded you 1,points as part of the initial new member registration offer (for making a purchase in the first days of membership), and an additional for the inconvenienceThese 2,Points have been credited to your account and are available for immediate useThank you for bringing this mistake to our attention, and for your patience as we worked to correct it
