Thank you for sharing your concerns with us.  Comments from test takers are always welcomed and are taken seriously in our effort to maintain the highest standards of quality for our tests and testing services.  Please be advised when selecting recipients on test day you select via school/fellowship name and not solely by the institutions code. It is clearly stated on the GRE website and at the end of your exam that if you do not select score recipients on the test day, or you would like to send your scores to more than four score recipients, you will need to submit an Additional Score Report request for a fee of US$27 per score recipient. However, as a one-time exception to the policy we will add one additional score to your file free of charge. Test taker scheduled a GRE test and later released she needed more time and rescheduled her test. She is disputing the $50 reschedule fee and now an additional $20 chargeback fee. She paid $70 on December 21, 2015 and would like her money refunded. A one time exception refund of $70 will be applied...

[redacted]   Your complaint to the Revdex.com (Revdex.com), Case #[redacted] regarding the iBT TOEFL exam you were scheduled to take on June 27, 2015 has been forwarded to me for an investigation.  Please accept our apologies for the problems that you encountered when you went to take your exam.  You were not allowed to take the exam because you did not present the proper identification documents.  You stated that since you were allowed to test with the same identification documents you presented at the test center in May 23, 2015, you should have been allowed to test on June 27, 2015.  The TOEFL policy states……..”Prior admission to a test center based on a given ID document does not guarantee that that document will be considered acceptable. “   Your registration MUST BE EXACTLY THE SAME as listed on your ID.   We apologize for any misunderstanding of the identification requirements.  We encourage all of our test takers to review the policy and procedures for the iBT TOEFL exam prior to scheduling an appointment.  The identification requirements are listed in the iBT TOEFL Test Information and Registration Bulletin and also posted on the TOEFL website.   Unfortunately, we must uphold the previous decision.   If you have further questions, we would encourage you to contact our Office of Testing Integrity.  The phone number is [redacted] and email address is [redacted]                  Sincerely,Doris L. December 12th and I spoke to Barbara under call Ref # [redacted] and it was already confirmed by her that I do not have a profile created in their data banks.  They will also not contact the bank on my behalf and I have spoken and already filed a dispute with CHIME bank was told that theses charges were vaild

Please see our response below:As [redacted]  states, ETS’s Office of Testing Integrity notified him  by letter dated March 30, 2015, that, after completing a comprehensive review of his scores from the January 24, 2015 test administration, ETS found evidence to support cancellation of those...

scores and subsequently placed the scores on hold.  As per the established policies and procedures included on page 21 of the TOEFL Information and Registration Bulletin, ETS will exercise its right to cancel scores if, in its judgment there is substantial evidence that the scores may be invalid.  [redacted] agreed to the policies and procedures when he registered for the test.  As also included the TOEFL Information and Registration Bulletin, ETS provided [redacted] with a copy of the booklet Why and How ETS Questions Scores which explains the process in detail and the options available for resolving the concerns about the questioned scores.  Our records indicate that [redacted] chose the initial option of submitting additional information for consideration to the ETS Board of Review (BOR). The information provided by [redacted] was submitted to the BOR initially on May 6 and subsequently on May 27 when he submitted more information.  After careful consideration of all information submitted by [redacted], the Board of Review decided that substantial evidence exists to support cancellation of his January 24, 2015 scores.  [redacted] was sent a letter advising him that the following options are available to him for resolving this matter: 1. Tell us to cancel your scores and receive a refund in the form of a voucher that you may use for a subsequent test administration.2. Let the school or agency to which you would like the scores to be sent decide whether to use the scores after ETS cancels them. [redacted] does not select an option by the date indicated in our last correspondence, ETS will cancel his scores.  [redacted] should be advised to contact the representative handling his case if he wishes to discuss his available options for resolving this matter.

M[redacted].  I apologize for the delay getting back to you. Unfortunately, as I stated on the voicemail I left on your home phone, Mr. M[redacted] is no longer a chairman at ETS and has been promoted to a new position.  That is why I asked that you send a copy of the letter to me.   We have received your response regarding the iBT TOEFL exam you had taken on December 2, 2016.  We have made an exception and granted your request, since the technical problems that occurred during the December 2, 2016 exam was not your fault.   A $190.00 refund has been issued for your test fees in the form of a credit on your [redacted] charge card, ending with [redacted].  You will need to allow ten working days for the credit to post to your card.   A refund of the remaining $51.00, paid for the TOEFL Value Pack Prep material will be processed separately through our finance department.  It will also be issued back to your [redacted] credit card, ending with [redacted].  You will need to allow 10 working days for the credit to post to your card.    Sincerely,Test Taker AdvocacyTOEFL Services

learn that you had accidently canceled your test appointment  As indicated on the GRE website and in the If you cancel your GRE General Test registration no later than four days prior to your test date (10 days for individuals in Mainland China), you will receive a refund equivalent to half of the original test fee. Test registrations cancelled less than four days before the test date are not eligible for a refund. This policy reflects the fact that certain processing costs are incurred regardless of whether you actually take the test.           Please note that cancelled test registrations can not be reinstated. In your Revdex.com complaint, you indicated that you paid the $50.00 reschedule fee due to a medical condition. As an exception to our reschedule and cancellation policies, I may be able to issue a voucher to retest for a medical issue. To be considered for a voucher, please submit documentation -- such as a bill showing you were under doctors care on your originally scheduled December 28, 2016 GRE administration -- as an attachment in a reply email to [redacted] wiithin seven business days. the Revdex.com (Revdex.com) that you submitted a complaint regarding score reporting for your June 18, 2015 GRE exam.
It is the candidate's responsibility to become familiar with all policies and procedures before entering in to a 'contract' of services to be rendered. "By clicking the COMPLETE APPOINTMENT button below, you agree to all terms and conditions related to payments, reschedules, cancellations, refunds and other policies set forth by your sponsoring organization." Therefore, a registrant is confirming, before paying, that they have read all policies and procedures set forth in the GRE Series Information and Registration Bulletin (ID policy on page 17) at www.ets.org/gre.
We are unable to locate a system issue that indicates you were unable to add your score recipients on the day of the test as directed by the GRE directions during the exam. Please see attachment (1) provided and pay particular attention to the 4th sentence in the attachment wherein it states that, if you do not choose your recipients now, you will be able to send them later for a fee.

Also, located at the GRE website under ScoreSelect, http://www.ets.org/gre/revised_general/scores/?WT.ac=grehome_grescores_150213, please see attachment (2) wherein it instructs a candidate on how to proceed with score selection both before or after test day. Here is states that score reports sent after test day will incur a fee.

The ScoreSelect® option lets you decide which test scores to send to the institutions you designate. On test day*, as part of your four free score reports, you can send scores from your most recent test administration or from all administrations of the General Test taken in the last five years. After test day, you can send scores from your Most Recent, All or Any specific test administration(s) for a fee when ordering Additional Score Reports. Just remember, scores for a test administration must be reported in their entirety.

I am rejecting this response because: I would like to
know what is the substantial evidence and why did they initially released my
scores on Feb 2 2014,If there was any cheating at the test center ETS would
have cancelled the scores for the whole center why only my scores, based on my
TOEFL results I had applied for [redacted] application which is on hold and DIBP  they could not verify my TOEFL scores and i
have already paid all the required fees.
You can imagine how unhappy I was to discover that I have to justify
myself for the exam which I gave 3 months ago.
 
Below were some cost and efforts involved.
 
Australia [redacted] application cost: 6223 AUD
Australia skill [redacted] assessment: 550 AUD
[redacted] AGENT FEES: 2200 USD
Medical test for whole family: 1000 USD
TOEFL iBT: 170 USD
Additional score report: 19 USD
TRAVEL COST FOR TOEFL: 700 USD
 
Please help me get my scores back.

requirements on test day.  As specified on page 12, a Permanent Resident Card or an Employment Authorization card had to accompany the Driver’s License on test day if a valid passport was not available.  [redacted] has agreed to these terms and conditions when he registered for the test therefore, scores will remain cancelled for the November 5, 2016 TOEFL iBT® administration.Regards,Office of Testing Integrity .
