I stayed in the [redacted] cabin from [redacted] Several amenities were not working When we arrived at the office in [redacted] we waited for minutes to be checked in and were never even acknowledged The agent checking us in was "grumpy" and told us that she had been on the night shift and today should have been her day off, but was told that she had to work today instead I then asked her about coupons for local attractions that I was told we would get when I booked She said that if we were eligible to receive them they would be in our cabin They were not Upon arrival to our cabin, we were ready to relax and watch TV We were not able to get the cable to work in the living room or bedroom, so we called the office and were told that they would send maintenance out to fix it We went ahead and unpacked and the third dresser drawer was apparently broken and fell out onto my husband's foot causing a bruise We then decided to go out for dinner instea

We had adults and kidsA storm came through around dinner time and the roof was leaking as well as the door frame because of all the rain we were gettingIt looked like a waterfall was coming in and down the walls and going to the outlet which also started sparkingShingles also came off the cabin causing damage to out of the vehicles we had there (people witnessed them coming off)There was dust all over the place and MOLD in the showers as well as the curtainsNot enough dishes (even though it was supposed to have a full kitchen), towels for everyone, carpets were filthy, cable didn't work, not enough space to sit down and eatWhen we contacted the staff to see if we could be switched to something better everything was fullThey said a manager would be by to talk with us about the damageThe so called manager NEVER cameFinally a maintenance guy came by about 11:and dropped of towels and took pictures of the complaints we hadEven he said the cabin was fi

The cabin was found to be unfit and unsanitary and the company refused to refund my money so I could go to a hotel and not be out additional money The cabin was not "ready" for us at check in time We were notified later when it was ready We were already out and about so it was later in the evening when we got to the cabin to inspect it We found the bathroom to have mold growing on the walls, bathrub, shower curtainThe sheets were dirty She tv will not change channels The floors were not vacuumed There was dust hanging from he ceiling The air vents had not been changed or cleaned in who knows when It was over an hour before they would even come assess the situationThey refused to issue a refund I advised them I took pictures and would be turning it into the health Dept and would post online reviews and with Revdex.com as they are ruining people's getaways with cabins in this shape and charging $ [redacted] for two nightsWhen it's to filthy to stay there

We were charged an additional fee when we rented the [redacted] from Cabins of the Smoky Mountains in order to supplement cost for premium service According to the advertising we were charged an additional $ [redacted] "We offer cabins with the highest standards of quality and excellenceAs such, Guests are charged various fees in order to supplement cost in providing extra care and premium serviceService Fees vary based on the cabin and time of year." Consider this 'company' a scamI spoke with someone about a cabin, to gather more informationAfter consideration, I booked the cabin and made the prepayment Several days later I was contacted, by email- found in my junk box, stating my reservation was not valid unless I booked another day I was never informed of this when speaking with someone(I informed them of the dates), or during the booking - says a pstates the additional terms Needless to say, I made travel arrangements( air and car rental) after my 'confirmation' The simple solution- drop the extra day since it was this company that made the mistakeBut they do not want to work this way, it all their terms The term 'buyer beware' is an understatement! An absolutely horrible experience!

Outlets are black like been on fire are wires cut by tv decon rat poison put in open We informed them of things wrong with cabin we have pictures of black outlets broken tile on floor that I almost cut my foot on there was water damage in pool room in ceiling there was so much built up dirt in exhaust in bathroom looked like moldThere were broken bases with sharp edges right in main living room the floors were sticky there were dead bugs on ceiling in game room there was brown stuff going down wall and floor in loft felt soft like you would fall inWe called maintenance and they never showed up after hours we refused to stay in cabin the company moved us however there are problems in new cabin and once again maintenance won't show upThese are advertised as luxurious cabins but that one we rented should be condemned until they fix the major problems

Adorable Escape wasn't at all what was advertisedThere are no gas fireplaces, no view, no properly working hot tub, and the three days we stayed in March there was also no wifi, no working dishwasher, no psi gamesAdd that to a bill that charged us extra nights when they were advertised as free which management never solved after many phone calls to themI wouldn't stay at this cabin or use this company again

This was the worst experience we have ever had and we visit the Smokies often We made numerous calls upon arriving to our cabin Cabin was hours late being ready for us It was falsly advertised and was missing over half of the advertised amenities out of beds were broken beds were laying on the ground, no frame Cabin had no water pressure After one shower the house was shut down for hours Plumbing leaked and dripped on lower floors Entertainment activities all missing Window was boarded up Blood from recent break in was dried on floors Made numerous calls and was promised that someone would be there within hours Was not allowed to speak with management Finally given a $credit off of $but they accidentally charged me instead of crediting Still fighting to get my money back!!

Our vacation was frustrating & stressful, the service was incredibly awfulNone of our issues in the cabin got fixed and we were disrespected a lot Positive: The view from our cabin " [redacted] " was beautiful! That was the only good thing about our stay( [redacted] ) Negative: - fireplace DID NOT WORK and wasn't fixed - tv/cable DID NOT WORK and wasn't fixed - Dirty pans/dishes in cabinets (disgusting utensils) - Jacuzzi did not work properly - NO one came to bring us towels when we called early and multiple times - WORST WORST WORST sleepers sofa, you can feel all the wires insideI have never seen or felt something like that before, it was really impossible to sleep inWe are a couple who camps outside, and the floor was more comfortableThe springs/wire really hurt the skin - At times, when the staff was very rude to us on the phone, we felt discriminated and lied for having an accent (but that story goes in a separate complaint to the [redacted]
