This company is running a scam They are falsely advertising cabins to be rented We booked a cabin online, then tried to get a hold of someone to ask some questions about the cabin Everyone had a different answer and didn't know any details When we arrived, check in was okay but we arrived at the cabin and it was absolutely filthy (dirty everywhere, trash in the garbages, poop in the toilets, glass everywhere outside, trash everywhere outside) The "pool" that was advertised was completely green (major hazard to the children we had in our group of people) We couldn't get anyone to help resolve all of the issues with the cabin, we went to the check in location in person and they still refused to do anything The maintenance guy who finally came out said there were multiple complaints about this cabin and company, the pool had been green and unusable for months, they refused the recommendation to at least notify renters and put a safety fence around it (because the mold and dirt was so old and disgusting) The girl at the desk said "I better sit down" when we mentioned the cabin name (clearly past issues and complaints) They refused to relocate our group and said we could get the deposit refunded but would need to leave asap (with no where to go) They were totally insensitive The girl at desk was communicating with her "manager" via the computer, when we asked to speak to manager, she said they can't do that we asked for manager to call us, they refused and said they wouldn'tWe asked to see manager, she said they are at a separate locationWe asked for address, they refused to give it to us It was a total scam, they get you there, your stuck and the "manager making decisions to do nothing" is hidden behind a computerWe asked for the manager, ***'s, last name, they said for security reasons they are forbidden to give that info out They did nothingWe returned the following morning and praise God we found another house to move to with a totally different company The guy at the desk immediately at Cabins of the Smoky Mountains started to tell us that he has told the company to take this house off the market because every renter has complained and left the cabin because it cannot be inhabited it is so bad He said the company refused to do that He was very helpful and kind, refunded our deposit, but it is clear that this company knows the issues with their homes (especially this specific one Mountain Brook Lodge) but would rather make some quick money than be honest Their system of not allowing any customers to talk with anyone who can make a decision, and locate those people in another office is absolutely disgusting to me It is unbelievable this company is still in operation Do not rent from this company, there was another man there when we were trying to get to a resolution and he was experiencing the exact same issues

We had adults and kidsA storm came through around dinner time and the roof was leaking as well as the door frame because of all the rain we were gettingIt looked like a waterfall was coming in and down the walls and going to the outlet which also started sparkingShingles also came off the cabin causing damage to out of the vehicles we had there (people witnessed them coming off)There was dust all over the place and MOLD in the showers as well as the curtainsNot enough dishes (even though it was supposed to have a full kitchen), towels for everyone, carpets were filthy, cable didn't work, not enough space to sit down and eatWhen we contacted the staff to see if we could be

Our vacation was frustrating & stressful, the service was incredibly awfulNone of our issues in the cabin got fixed and we were disrespected a lot

- Dirty pans/dishes in cabinets (disgusting utensils)
- Jacuzzi did not work properly
- NO one came to bring us towels when we called early and multiple times
- WORST WORST WORST sleepers sofa, you can feel all the wires insideI have never seen or felt something like that before, it was really impossible to sleep inWe are a couple who camps outside, and the floor was more comfortableThe springs/wire really hurt the skin
- At times, when the staff was very rude to us on the phone, we felt discriminated and lied for having an accent (but that story goes in a separate complaint to the ***

Wow, have these guys went down hill We have been staying at Gatlinburg Falls (Cabins of the Smoky Mountains) for several years now, and what we just experienced was saddening I have never see so many unhappy customers at any type of of business in my life Lines out the door, ready to riot For us personally, we had a check in time at 4pm, and we didn't get checked in until 7:23pm We had two infants so this wasn't fun We weren't the only one though as lines of people were waiting as well Next, our key to get in wouldn't work We got locked out multiple times and had to wait hours before maintenance showed up Finally, the cabin we saw online (Sweet Mountain Homes), was severely over marketed The floors were dirty, there was graffiti on the walls, and they showed a door on the down stairs game room when there wasn't one But we didn't have it the worst There were guests with no running water for two days, and couldn't get anyone to communicate with them The management hides, and WILL not talk to you We were guaranteed a call from the manager on two occasions with scheduled times, and they never called We felt so bad for their employees as you could tell they were understaffed The WORST management I have seen in awhile

Absolutely the worst stay we ever had in the Gatlinburg, the cabin was a disgraceHot tub would not work when I tried to call guest service the tried to say I won free gift card but was wanting my credit card infoMold in the bathtubs, carpets was dirty, guest before us let socks and hair net in floorStep was loose on front porch I fellSpiders and ants throughout cabinAbsolutely terrible place

We stayed at the Grand View Lodge in Gatlinburg Nov23rd and left as soon as we could on the 27th As soon as we arrived our sewage pump was NOT in working order and there was sewage backed up all under the cabin The cabin stank the whole time We were short top sheets on the beds it advertised it slept but we barely slept and with the smell it was horrible We went through dollars of candles and air freshener sprays people came out to tell us we had an emergency problem five times But we were finally told that we would not have it fixed until the day before we leftThe downstairs could have slept people if of them could all sleep together in one room washcloths, towels, hand towels and floor mat towel were provided in that bathroom They did bring us bags of towel and washcloth suppliesWe just took top sheets and blankets from bunk beds as needed No tea pitcher Dishwasher bottom was falling apart Fridge wobbled so bad you could barely open the doors Filth was everywhere floor, cobwebs hanging Where you would turn on the stove was loose Positives hot tub worked but we didn't use it All video games worked we didn't use the sit down one in the loft upstairs They gave us half of our money back and offered us a free night with their service and VIP 10% off future customers WE HAVE STAYED MANY PLACES in GATLINBURG, PIGEON FORGE, WEARS VALLEY cabins We usually used VRBOand have never had such a horrible experiencePlace is misrepresented There was no place to put our food except pile it on the small center kitchen island Comfortable seating only for in the living room otherwise hard wooden bench or chairs The 5th bedroom is not enclosed it had the movie theater bunk beds, foosball, and a video game and a bathroom in a loft areaOne of my son stomach was so messed up yest when we got home and I his mother have had an upset stomach all day today I hope the sewage did not do permanent damage to us

We informed them of things wrong with cabin we have pictures of black outlets broken tile on floor that I almost cut my foot on there was water damage in pool room in ceiling there was so much built up dirt in exhaust in bathroom looked like moldThere were broken bases with sharp edges right in main living room the floors were sticky there were dead bugs on ceiling in game room there was brown stuff going down wall and floor in loft felt soft like you would fall inWe called maintenance and they never showed up after hours we refused to stay in cabin the company moved us however there are problems in new cabin and once again maintenance won't show upThese are advertised as luxurious cabins but that one we rented should be condemned until they fix the major problems

This was the worst experience we have ever had and we visit the Smokies often We made numerous calls upon arriving to our cabin Cabin was hours late being ready for us It was falsly advertised and was missing over half of the advertised amenities out of beds were broken beds were laying on the ground, no frame Cabin had no water pressure After one shower the house was shut down for hours Plumbing leaked and dripped on lower floors Entertainment activities all missing Window was boarded up Blood from recent break in was dried on floors Made numerous calls and was promised that someone would be there within hours Was not allowed to speak with management Finally given a $credit off of $but they accidentally charged me instead of crediting Still fighting to get my money back!!

Rental property was not as represented online - was in disrepair and unclean with broken blinds, toilet, door, etc
