Our cabin rental did not meet exceptions and after checking out we were charged for damage that we did not cause
We rented *** *** *** from Cabins of the Smoky Mountains March *** *** This cabin was advertised as a luxury cabin which it was notThe cabin was sparsely furnishedThe cabin is advertised as sleeping 12-people which means that people would have to sleep on a very uncomfortable futon and people would have to sleep on an equally uncomfortable pull-out sofa All the beds in the cabin were uncomfortableOne upstairs bedroom had twin beds; one twin bed had a queen sized bottom sheet and no top sheet, the other twin bed had a queen sized bottom sheet folded in half as both top and bottom sheetsThe dining table did not seat 12-peopleWednesday morning there was leak through the ceiling onto the bed of one of the downstairs bedroomsAfter a maintenance man came we were told the leak came from the upstairs shower and to not use the shower againWe

I booked this resort on *** to enjoy a *** vacation only to find the directions unclear and when I called a rude person hung up on me That made me come to office when clerk at desk said it was the call centerI told her how unprofessional that was and she gave me a different way to find it and I found itFirst impression of the place was the odor coming onterrible next opened door the room was filthy with molding foodIn sink hair behind pillows and on bedComforter filthyTub with hair in itGlass doors so dirty you couldn't see out itThey sent a man here who in Spanish said I cleanI told it but it isn't cleanHe only took rag with air freshener and wiped out the tub and behind bedBy this time I just couldn't continue because I'm exhausted from thisI called for the manager who doesn't come in until 10am per ***She offered to refund the cleaning fees I don't think refunding *** dollars will make this vacati

This is the worse experience I have ever had with a cabinI will never again use this companyThey state they are luxury cabins, to me there is a lot of advertisingUpon arriving at our cabin, we saw that there was trash bags torn and trash everywhere .The bins were full of trashThere was a flood light on one side of cabin not burning which made it hard to climb the steps, very dangerous !!When we walked into the cabin it was an awful, awful smell of sewageThere was food and crumbs on the floor under the table and crumbs in the kitchenThe floors were so sticky your feet would stick to them when you walkedThe fan in one of the bedrooms was ready to fall offHoles in walls, lamp brokenNo TV in theater roomWe walk int bathroom and there are roaches in tub !! Not stocked with utensils and cookwareIt was all dirty !!We waited nearly hours for maintenanceI made several calls to the officeI told them we were not staying thereWhen maintenance came he said the cabin was not capable of staying in and he could not fix the sewage problemHe sent a message back to the office and told them the cabin was not fitting to stay inSome of the other family proceeded to look for us another cabin to move to while we were waiting for the maintenancehours later they said they could move us to another cabin, but when I made the reservations they did not have anything that would be suitable our familyBy this time we had found another cabin with another company I have asked for a refund but the manager said they would not refund any amount because we left the cabinI would not recommend Cabins of the Smoky Mountains to anyone Very disappointing !!!

The cabin was filthy, bed was broken, garbage laying all over, toilet wouldn't flush, broken door casings,termite infestation,food laying on the floor
piad ***, arrived ***, the cabin was unfit for human habitation, The cabin had black mold in the rotted out corners of the shower, both bathroom doors on the main lever were kicked open resulting in the door casings to be broken and not allowing the doors to latch and lock properly, food on the bedrooms floors, carpets were filthy, termite infestation everywhere, toilet wouldn't flush, windows were filthy, garbage laying all over outside, hot tub was dirty and leaking, screens were ripped up on the one deck, one bed was broken down and laying on the floor, no top sheets on two beds, garbage can placed under leaking water lines where a sink or wash tub had been removed, futon had large stain from? couch was filthy, floors were sticky and dirty, only a couple towels and wash clothes,not enough for guests, bugs in the light fixture

We were charged an additional fee when we rented the *** from Cabins of the Smoky Mountains in order to supplement cost for premium service

When we arrived the cabin was dirty, the floors hadn't even been sweptThe kitchen had dishwasher that was broken and moldy, a microwave that was broken, inadequate cookware and dishesThe stairs to the entry had a broken step and the porch rail was rottenOne of the hot tubs was not functionalThe TV in the main floor sitting area didn't work

IT WAS VERY HUMILIATING TO BRING MY GUEST INTO THIS CABIN

I left my shower items in a cabin following my stayI have requested to have the items shipped to me multiple times and still have not received
I had no problems with customer service before or leading up to my stay in the cabinUnfortunately, I left my shower caddy with numerous items in the cabinThe shower caddy was found by cleaning crew as confirmed by phone call conversationsOver the last week, I have spoke to numerous customer service personnel claiming my shower caddy would be shipped back to meI specified I would pay to have the items shipped and gave all of my informationI have now had to go a week without everyday shower/bathroom items that has been extremely inconvenientI demand this company send my items or reimburse me the value of items left which include glasses, contacts, razors, and others

Rented cabin *** arrived to no parking due to cabin next door having a weddingI went into a bedroom was full of bugs on floor ceiling under bed linensHot tub smelled like a sewerMy brother and another person was carrying bags up the outside steps when the second flight collapsed dropping them ft to groundThey ended up in hospital that night for injuriesI called the cabin renters immediately was told nothing could be done that night come see them at 9:amWe went at am to see them and was offered choices split our group into different cabins or wait til Saturday to get into a larger cabinBy the way we could not lock up any belongings in cabin due to keypad lock on second floor deck we couldn't get to because of no stepsThey said if we took the latter choice they would fix hot tub and bug problemWe preceded to leave for the day and returned at 5:pm nothing was done not even cleaning up the stair

I am originally from East Tennessee and have stayed in a lot of cabins, but this is the worst experience I have ever hadThe check in experience was good, the staff was nice and friendlyBut that is where the good part endsI stayed in the cabin called Secret SeclusionIf you rent this cabin be prepared to not be happyI checked in this cabin Dec I paid $200+ per nightThe outside of the cabin looks ok, but once you go inside it is a huge letdownI turned the comforter on the bed back and saw a bunch of black little whatever they were all over the bed(bugs, or rat poo, I don't know) It was so disgusting I went to ***, bought a set of sheets and put them over the uncomfortable couch and slept on itThe bathtub was super old, this is nasty but it had hairs on the corner of the tub, yukI opened up the cover of the hot tub and immediately about got knocked down by body odor of whomever was in there last, I literally started gaggingHorrible experience at this cabinI disliked it so much I packed up my things after the 2nd night at 4:a.mand just slept outside in my carThis cabin was very filthy and oldI actually received a call from one of the employees asking how my stay wasI called her back and told her, she acted like she didn't even care at all, I don't even know why they bothered to callI wouldn't recommend Cabin of The Smokies to anyoneStay at your own risk

I reserved and paid for tickets for *** on *** in the amount of $*** The *** show I reserved was for *** at 6:pm At the time of check in on *** I asked for the *** tickets and the representative said I could pick them up in the office on the morning of *** I went to the office the morning of *** and were told that they did not have my tickets - they could see where I had reserved and paid for them, but for whatever reason they did not actually make the reservation and now the show was sold out, but they could offer me tickets for the 8:pm show I told them I was not interested in the 8:pm show because I was leaving very early the next morning The representative sent me to the managers office to talk to someone named *** who offered to refund the cost of the tickets + offer **% off of my cabin stay due to the

Absolutely terrible! The cabin was completely disgusting! The guest services were beyond terrible! The amenities of the cabin were nothing that they had stated and when u called they would say I'm so sorry we will send someone out and they NEVER did! I even went back to check in place and still no help getting anything! I stayed in a cabin for guest and was left towels, wash clothes, and no dish towels! Not to mention in a cabin where they pad locked the "fabulous hot tub" that they supposedly had! I will never reserve with them EVER again!!!

We had a reservation Dec8-11, We called on Nov30th because of the fire to cancel our reservation as we have newborns and autistic children that cannot be around that kind of smokey environmentThe gentleman that we talked to said that is was in fact really smokey at that time and we could either cancel or put our deposit into escrowWe said to cancel, he then said we would get a email in 2-daysNone came and we have been trying to get a refund every sinceEven went up there to talk to them but they would not even tell us who owned the companyThey took money out of our account without our permission and we are seeking restituton for thatWe have stayed a lot in cabins there but this is the first time using these people and will never againThey were all very rude and could not even tell us who talked to us on the phone that eveningWould never use or recommend this company

Rented *** ***Pictures show a nice cabin but the pictures were totally and misleading When we got there the cabin had scratched and worn tables with boards starting to come up, stained carpet, scratched walls, a broken toilet that was leaking, a toilet with a broken seat, bathroom door molding that would pull away from the wall when the door was shut, shower handles that would pop off, trash all down the hill outside and empty beer boxes outside the window, the electrical panel cover was ripped off and laying on the ground a picture with broken glass hanging on the wall, there was one bathtub that we had to clean before using because there was dirt all in the bottom of it
