They are committing fraud with the advertisement liesThe website looks nothing the cabins do in person
We arrived *** and checked in for the *** from ***We got to the cabin and it looks nothing like the photos or descriptionWifi was not working and I calledWaited on hold for minutes and then no one answeredCalled the next morning *** to talk about the wifi and also the hot tub not working and was told the wifi could not be fixed because there is a code on the backWe tried the code and it did not workThen she just made a note of the hot tub broken and did not even offer maintenanceCalled and asked to speak to a manager and got the assistant manager about the fact the cabin is not as described and that we were supposed to get handicapped and switched on the phone with an agent from a big cabin to a small one just to make it easierWas blamed for the fact we booked online first and was blamed for everything wrong basicallyHorrible customer

Consider this 'company' a scamI spoke with someone about a cabin, to gather more informationAfter consideration, I booked the cabin and made the prepayment
Several days later I was contacted, by email- found in my junk box, stating my reservation was not valid unless I booked another day
I was never informed of this when speaking with someone(I informed them of the dates), or during the booking - says a pstates the additional terms
Needless to say, I made travel arrangements( air and car rental) after my 'confirmation'
The simple solution- drop the extra day since it was this company that made the mistakeBut they do not want to work this way, it all their terms
The term 'buyer beware' is an understatement! An absolutely horrible experience!

we went inside and looked at the suite Lodge, rented through Cabins of the Smoky Mountains/Gatlinburg Falls in Pigeon Forge, TN, the furniture was dirty, the shower floors were black, the cabin has not been kept up well at all, we had already reserved it, I am sure I was told that if I cancelled within days of the check in date I would be refunded my deposit, so I took them at their word and did not read the paperwork, refund to me means you get everything back when you cancel, saying you want lose it to me means you get it back at the time you cancel, I'll be honest, I was stupid, just want to say buyer please be ware, read every thing you get, they will not give your money back for 2yrs, their refund is for you to find another cabin with them and put it toward that one, or wait 2yrs to get your money out of escrowI will wait on escrow because I will not be forced to rent a filthy cabin, or to do business with anyone I don't want to do business with

Upon checking in at the Pigeon Forge office at 4pm I was told that the cabin was being inspected and that I would be called when complete This call never came and after calling several times I was told at 6pm that the cabin was ready Upon arrival I found several issues not acceptable A downstairs bathroom had urine and a hair on the rim as well as feces in the bowlThis comode also had a paper around the lid indicating it had been cleaned Same bathroom had a long hair on the handtowel that was laying on the sink and a partial roll of toilet paper under the sinkThe stairs had obviously not been cleaned as there was hair pins and crums on the stepsThe yard was littered with beer cans and cigarette stubs, The coffee table in the basement has a sticky substance on it as did the counter in the kitchen Four large bags of garbage was tied up on the back deckAnd the lights did not work under the cabinets at the sink and the rail at the bottom of the steps in the basement level

Adorable Escape wasn't at all what was advertisedThere are no gas fireplaces, no view, no properly working hot tub, and the three days we stayed in March there was also no wifi, no working dishwasher, no psi gamesAdd that to a bill that charged us extra nights when they were advertised as free which management never solved after many phone calls to themI wouldn't stay at this cabin or use this company again

I recently chose this company, and a cabin called Running Bear, for a week away with my sister and our teenage kidsWe chose the cabin based on the specific wants of a fire pit, hot tub, MsPacMan game, and a theater roomThis cabin was NOT what was shown onlineThe outside was worn, grill was filthy, the fire pit area was trashed (the table top fire pit shown in the pictures was unusable), there was trash in the yard, hot tub was not workingUpon settling in, we realized it was filthyThe furniture on the upper balconies was missing cushions, chairs flipped over, it had not been swept or cleanedThe glass table had a layer of dirt covering itThe master bedroom bedspread/pillows had white stains that appeared to be semenSimilar stains in other roomsOne room had a pungent oder of marijuanaThere were washcloths in the entire cabin, for people over daysThe carpet in the game room was stained, torn, and raggedThe video game machine did not have the games listed on the websiteThe home theater system had upwards of remotes, none of which matched the one in the directionsWe attempted to make it work, without successThere were cigarette butts on the picnic tableThe list goes on and onI called the first night, shortly after arrival, to express my disappointmentIt was costing over 2,000$ for nightsAt minimum, I expected cleanlinessI was told to, "pull the bedspreads off", and that we could stop to pick up more washcloths the next dayHow defeatingOur vacation felt ruined before it beganThe very things we looked forward to did not work or were not actually thereThe next morning, a repairman named Steven arrived with towelsHe spent an hour with the home theater and could not make it workHe walked through the cabin taking pictures of the filthHe was shockedAt this point, the refrigerator had started leaking water all over the floorMy sister called the officeThey offered 20% offNot reasonableIt wasn't that one thing didn't work, it was a complete disasterThey offered to move us to another cabinI looked it up onlineIt did not have all of the things we wanted, and the fire pit had no chairsWe were, unquestionably angryWe called hoping for an apology and suggestions that were fair and sensibleI was told me that it states in the contract that things sometimes breakthing, yes, but everything? Moving us to a different cabin, one that we hadn't chosen was frustratingWe had already lost the night before and half of the next dayI tried to humanize the issue, asking Heather (the woman I was speaking with) if she would be ok if this was her familyShe proceeded to tell me she would be fine with it because her husband is sick with/dying from cancerNow, I would normally never bring someone's personal life into this, but I didn't appreciate being labeled an ingrate for being caught in a bait and switch schemeThis was business, and what they are doing borders on illegalTo show pictures of a new and beautiful cabin, when the product is dated and filthy, is selling a lieI will tell you that she eventually told me I would be given a "full refund" if I wanted to pack up and leaveNone of this was offered in kindnessI asked for her name and her manager's nameShe refusedIt was later that I found out that her name is Heather and SHE IS THE MANAGER! I called back after deciding I would not give these people my moneyI then spoke to a woman named, ***, who was quite kindThey then changed the offer, thoughThey would not refund the first night, taxes, or cleaning feesIn the end, they kept nearly 1,000$ for my troublesWe had a horrible start to our vacationWe packed everything and headed to a lovely hotel in GatlinburgI had to purchase two rooms for the remainder of the weekWe lost a fortune in meats and groceriesI am happy to say that we attempted to make the best of our situation, and still make it a fun trip for the kiddos!

We originally rented Simply Blessed but were moved to another rental when it was taken off the market for the seasonThat rental didnt fit our needs so Cabins Of The Smoky Mountaina worked with us to find one that did, and gave us the original rate! We arrived to Sleepy Hollow worried because of so many bad online reviewsThe cabin was breathtaking! It was clean, well decorated, no maintenance issuesHot tub was clean and warmPool was crystal clearEverything was perfect! The only issue we had was new, loud, drunk neighbors came the night before we were to leaveWe politely asked them (at midnight) to stop yelling and screaming, but they cussed us and continuedWe called guest services and after waiting mins on the line, got a message that they weren't accepting calls and left a message to please have them quiet downWe hated going that route but nice didn't work! We are already booking our fall cabin with themSleepy Hollow is in Covered Bridge resort...close to grocery stores, attractions, and beautiful views!

I would not suggest this placeThis place was dirty to the point I went and bought cleaning supplies and cleaned it myselfI did not have time to wait on cleaners, not was I wasting my time to let them come and clean it after I had already seen what kind of job they doI had to call maintience to fix the hot tub and jacuzziThe appliances are all worn out and need replaced, especially the stove because it doesn't ever heat the same when cookingBut one other important factor, the company pays people to remove bad reviews from yelp and googleThey contacted me and offered me money to remove my bad reviews

This was the worst experience we have ever had and we visit the Smokies several times a year over the past yearsI called several days before arriving to double check my reservation for Grandeur Grace Cabin and they assured me everything was fine When I arrived at check in the computers were down and the lady handed me a printout with my reservation info but only to find out they booked me in another cabin without calling or emailing me She asked me to come back the next day to process my credit card and while we were there the maintenance men came to the cabin to change the locks and told the older ladies they would need to leave!! While I was checking in the lady never told me to be there by (noon) the next day or this would happen!!! The cabin was dirty - no sheets on some of the beds - one wash cloth per bathroom and when I ask for more at the office they gave me nasty towels that had grease all over them!! I will never be back and I hope you think twice before booking with this company! My nice quiet week in the Smokies was ruined by poor customer service and unclean conditions!!

We rented a cabin from this company for a week of vacation from *** and had nothing but problems with them from the moment we arrived
Very disappointed in our first cabin rental experienceWe arrived on a Saturday *** driving from ** so about hours in the carCheck in is to be and we didn't get into the cabin until almost 6-6:30pm-paying for a day we pretty much lostIt took me phone calls to finally get a code to get inI was told they were deep cleaning the cabin, which I know was not trueWe seen maintenance outside replacing a central air unit, which we then had issues with all weekNot sure why they felt they had to lieBut I can tell you there was NO deep cleaning done to that cabin-*** Lodge! While the look of it and the pictures online were nice, the carpets were disgusting! If you walked through without shoes your feet were blackThe floors were not swept well, most of the appliances were falling apahad issues with the dishwa

We had a party of going to spend time at Gatlinburg On our way down, we were diverted into cabins to fix a sewer issue with our cabin we reserved Once we got there, in one cabin, the toilet leaked through the roof, another toilet had remains of the previous group that pooped in the reserve tank, and neither hot tub worked It took over hours to get someone out to fix the leak We then moved back into our main cabin where the sewer problem was not fixed but cleaned up Once we started showering and using the restrooms, the sewage was coming out from under the toilet onto the floor, bathtub became full of sewer, and the sewer water ran into to bedrooms We placed towels to keep it out of the living area, so the sewer water flowed into the HVAC which for us was a blessing We called at least dozen times and spoke with managers there, but they only stated that they put in a request We had a great time in Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge, so thankfully we were not at the cabin much

None of the amenities advertised were working for us to use, terrible customer service in trying to get things fixed
I booked a cabin thru Cabins of the Smoky Mountains website called ***, in *** *** as a *** present for my family
It advertised this cabin as having a private indoor pool, hole putt putt, hot tub, home theater roomThese were the amenities that caused me to book this cabinI booked it for the dates of *** thru ***When we arrived, after driving 1/hrs, we noticed the hottub was in pieces, I checked my email and did indeed have an email that was sent late the day before stating the hottub was broke and may be fixed during our stayIt said nothing else about anything else not workingWe went inside, this was about pm and started checking to make sure things were working as per their policy, this is what we found.1.The pool was empty but the water was running to fill it hot tub broke not working home theater not workin

I strongly recommend that you do not book with this companyThere were over things broken in our cabin, including the railing on the deck that had at least a hundred foot drop and a massive leak from the toilet in the master bathroomOur cabin was so filthy that we had to clean it ourselves before we could bring our kids or luggage insideWe swept enough dirt to fill an entire cupThere were muddy footprints on the floor, the counters were sticky in the kitchen and bathrooms, we had to clean the refrigerator inside and out before we could add food to it, and there were q-tips and trash on the floor around the toilet in all of the bathroomsOur children decided on their own that even the beds were so dirty that they refused to sleep in themThe hot tub was slimy and had cloudy waterWe checked in on a Sunday night and went back to the office Monday morning with a list of our issues - none were resolvedAt this point, had they simply apologized and sent maintenance to resolve the railing and toilet issue and housekeeping to clean the cabin as it should have been when we checked in, we could have lived with the restHowever, they simply noted our massive list of issues in the computer and said that they would send someone who never cameOn Thursday, we again returned to the officeThey again noted our issues but this time finally provided us with our promised welcome packet containing hundreds of dollars of coupons that we already had missed out on, they cleaned our hot tub for us, they had maintenance throw a couple of lugs in the railing which did nothing, and then left a new wax seal in the middle of the bathroom floor, turned the water off on the toilet, and mopped up the leaked toilet water from the filthy floor with our bathroom towels which they then not only left in the middle of the floor but did not replaceWe were told to go to the office at checkout at 9am on Sunday and we would discuss unresolved issues at checkoutAt 10:30am, we were still standing outside of the office, with about other guests, but no one still had arrived and addressed usStaff had come and gone, but none had acknowledged us or unlocked the doorFinally, we drove minutes to their second office in Gatlinburg to speak to a managerWe were told there that it was not their fault that someone had called out at their other office - perhaps they could have left a note on the door or had someone there directing us to their other office? All of this, but the worst of all of this was our interaction with the managerWe demanded to speak with the manager and were told that her foot was hurt and she was not speaking with customers that dayWe said we would go to her but were told it was against regulationsSo, we said that we weren't leaving until we spoke with herShe came down the stairs actually yelling at us telling us that her foot hurt too bad to deal with customers or their issues that dayWe attempted to speak with her about our issues but she simply did not care and would not even allow us to speakWe asked her didn't she care about "PR" (public relations) - word of mouth regarding our experience and she said that she didn't even know what "PR" wasShe told us that she didn't care who we told about our experience or if we ever came back to Cabins of the Smoky Mountains againShe then stomped off and told us to have a blessed dayNot once did she even attempt to resolve the situation - not an apology, not a nice word, not a hope that this wouldn't affect us coming and staying with them againThe associate at the front desk told us that we did not understand how difficult of a job it is to be a managerThis is no way to run a company and is a shame that they are allowed to remain in business and ruin people's vacationsPlease do yourself a favor and find another company to rent with for your vacation to the beautiful Smoky Mountains

Amenities promised but not present or working - 70" television (totally missing TV in rec room that was pictured on website), the fireplaces did not work, racing game did not workOther issues - they advertise that "our cabins undergo a higher degree of inspection by trained personnel both prior to & immediately following your stay" and they charge a prestay "premium service fee" for this of $ & a cleaning fee of $ The place was filthy There was a full trash bag thrown in the yard, beer cans in the yard, cigarette butts around the hot tub, food splatters on some of the walls, crusted food all over on the kitchen counter, a rusted-out grill laying down in the yard, left there to rot & a towel from a previous guest laying in the yardThere was trash behind the bedroom doors, & a bedroom closet was totally off the hinges and was just leaning against the wallThe carpets were nasty Kitchen drawers were coming apart The door screens were ripped.An indoor floor lamp at the hot
