If there was the option to give a zero star rating, I would.I've never seen worse customer service in my life.My family rented the "Lazy Days" cabin & directions were emailed that sent my parents to "Lazy Dazy".The key code they were given let them in (we learned that all the cabins had the same entry code...completely unsafe) and they were there for a few hours before someone from the company let them know they were in the wrong one.They had sent the family that rented "Lazy Dazy" to our original (much larger, much nicer) cabin.The assistant manager went to talk to them but returned only to tell us that the family had put kids in the bed & refused to move.Our options were to either go to the other cabin or call the police & have them drag the family out.It was already 9:pm so we opted for the other cabin & were promised the family would be out by am, the cabin would be ready by 12:30, we would not owe anything for that night, would be given an extra night to make up for it, & a discount on the night we would have the correct cabin.We went into the office at 10:the next morning to check on the progress & nobody knew what we were talking about.They checked the notes in the computer & the situation was only partially explained.There was no record of the compensation we had been promised or the 12:guarantee.The assistant manager from the previous night is the one that made these promises & also gave us his cell phone number since he would not be in the office the next day.We called multiple times with no answer & for some reason, nobody had the authority to do anything for us without talking to him even though he was not the manager.We talked to a female that was helpful (Austria) and empathetic to our situation and we explained that if this was going to take all day then we would prefer to just have a refund and we would check into a hotel.She said that would be fine.Received a call a few hours later offering us a discount for the night we would be staying, still unsure what time the cabin would be ready, and no word of the promise of the next day (which was important because checkout is at am so we didn't trust finding something out the following day).I told them to talk to the manager from the night before to get confirmation on what he promised & get back to me.Fast forward a few more hours...nothing.By now, its after 3:so we decided to go back to the office to check on the status of our cabin.We had to explain the situation all over again & someone from earlier in the morning that just overheard the conversation starts butting in saying that we agreed to finding out what our compensation would be upon checkout.Who in their right mind would agree to finding out what they were going to pay & when they had to be out as they are checking out?!Then the worst of them all, Samantha, walks out of her office.She already has an attitude and slams a paper on the desk & says that our cabin is ready and gave us the key code.Glancing down at the paper, we quickly notice that it was the wrong cabin again.We point it out, she clearly feels dumb, & her attitude gets worse.She prints out the correct cabin info (with the same key code as the other one) & slams it down.We are still just trying to figure out what our compensation will be.My mom states that my dad has cancer & isn't feeling well & she is frustrated that we have had to drag him around in the heat all day because we have no room to take him to.Samantha is offended that we mentioned cancer bc her mother has cancer and starts yelling that we "threw cancer in her face".I was seriously shocked by her reaction and lack of empathy.We ask for a refund but are told we can't have it even though earlier we were told it would be fineShe slams her office door.We decide to go to the cabin and the guy from the previous night called and told us that the original compensation would stand.Called the next day and it still wasn't clear in the computer...seriously.Finally got it right and the refund but the weekend was ruined, the cabin was hot and the hot tub was broken

Beware! Unforgiving,people and owners! Awful, nightmarish experience! Booked nights at Lazy Dazy cabin, and my family of were very excited about the tripThen my father-in-law fell feet from a ladderUnderstanding what their "policy" said about family emergencies but foolishly hoping to appeal to the compassion of a human being, I called to cancel the reservation and a seemingly nice person told me I would only forfeit my deposit of the rooms were rebookedToday, I was told because the rooms were not rebooked 50% of the nights, I would lose the ENTIRE $I paid themIt DOES NOT EVEN GO INTO ESCROW for a future tripWhat's more, the owners of the cabin blocked several nights from being rebooked for "personal reasons." Do you get what happened? They took advantage of our family tragedy and ripped us off for $1714.93! I'm glad we didn't go because the family was called in for my father in law on one of the days we would have been on this trip and the hospital is hours awayHe is still fighting for his life as I write thisI just wanted to let everyone out there know that this is the type of service you will get if you are unfortunate enough to have a true family emergency

Worst customer service, SCAM We had a reservation for one of the cabinA day before Gatlinburg got on fireI tried calling them and tried to reach them on twitter but there was no replyThere is not cabin address in the confirmation email or online, I have the proof of thisWe had to shuffle our plan and go somewhere else

Me and my friends made a night reservation for one of the cabins in a peak season months before the eventSystem allowed us to select nights and successfully complete the reservationweek before the arrival I received an email stating that nights is the minimum and that I can cancel or extendI tried canceling but due to the fact that event was less than month ahead I did not receive a refundBasically lost the money and all the plansAbsolutely disgusting service

Very poor customer serviceWe had a problem when we checked in as they told us our cabin was off site which is not what we asked for but we still were willing to try itAfter driving there we could not find the cabinTo be fair it was at night but still there was nothing with the address they gave us, noting with the name of the cabin or the resort nameAt least nothing we could see from the roadThe one lane road going to the location was very unsafe with branches and debris along with one side being a cliff with no gaurd railingThe driveways were either straight up or straight down so we were not going up and down them in the middle of the night to try to find the address so after searching up and down we called and all she could say was noone has ever had a problem finding itSo we drove back to the offices which was also a disasterThe guy could not even find it on Google maps but he also said he had no authority to move usWe asked to speak to manager which was useless as she kept walking in and out of her office passed usWe asked if she was manager but he kept saying no but after almost hours she came to us and said she wasShe was very unprofessional and just kept saying the sighs were up and that we should have found it After being there a that time waiting and hearing all the other complaint while sitting there We were just done with everything and asked for a refund which was told noWe said to keep the deposit but we wanted back the $we just paid a few hours ago and she said no that we owed that wether we stayed or notHorrible experienceI left in tears, my other half was so upset as this was supposed to be a romantic vacationAfter driving hours to get there and being totally disrespected we ended up driving to a local hotel to stay the night and to leave Tennessee completely the next morning as the entire vacation was ruinedWe never even got to see the cabinWe got taken for almost $so writing this review to hopefully prevent someone else from getting taken
Remember not all cabins are on sitePlease before paying your final payment ask to check out the cabin inside and out because there are NO REFUNDS

Worst experience in the Smokey's for the past years of visiting
When we got there we went in to check everything out most of the house has hardwood floors thank the Lord the carpet in the bedrooms were beyond any filth you can imagine Also there were suppose to be TV's which I double checked well there were and only worked This is a pet friendly cabin/house and the backs of doors were scratched up pretty bad so I called N she said she would take care of the tv's and asked If I wanted someone to come shampoo the carpets I told her no but to make sure it was noted that MY dogs did not do this, I didn't even want my dogs on those carpets Wasn't long we got unloaded put all our food in the fridge only to find it wasn't cooling so I called her back, she put a HIGH Priority on it and would send someone out, also I told her there was no stopper to be found for the downstairs bathtub and with ALL the closets it that house there was NOT one hanger in any of them, she told me

We were delayed hours getting into our cabin because the front desk clerk failed to check us in properlyOur cabin did not have the Wifi advertised because the owner failed to pay the bill (we were told by office staff)Lastly, we when called and asked for bath towels, they stopped by when we were gone and left us kitchen rags This company was very unprofessional and unorganizedWe will never rent through this company again

We stayed there for nine days Beautiful view but no decent rocking chairs to set and enjoy it Hottest days of the summer and their A/C didn't work, the 'coolest' the cabin was for the first four days was The beds and furniture are worn and, for the price, they wanted you to furnish everything from dishwashing soap to trash bags!! Customer service was awful and they never seemed in a rush to resolve anything We will never, ever stay there again (and that's sad because we go to that area often)

This was a truly awful experience The hot tub never worked, toilet backed up, cabin dirty, security outside light did not work, etcDo not waste your money!!

Upon arrival to cabin, the cabin was not clean
My family checked into Appalachian High on Monday, January 15th Upon arrival to our cabin we found dirty underwear hanging in the blinds, spaghetti noodles in the sink, a sticky red substance on the face of the kithen cabinets, and dirty floors We were told somebody would be there by midnight to handle our issues My husband and I stayed up until 1amnobody ever showed up We called the customer service desk again that morning and was told somebody would be by before that afternoon...again nothing! We called for a third time that evening and were told road conditions were qiestionable I ended up cleaning the sink, floors and dishes myself If we had not been snowed in and could pass ** the mountain we would have left The customer service desk was zero help and made us feel like we were bothering them I personally paid a cleaning fee and good money to stay in *** Cabinand should have gotten a clean cabin wi

The only memories I will have when it comes to my stay at the Mountain Memories Lodge is a TERRIBLE memory of my stayThe cabin was definitely not as advertisedThere were numerous pictures of the tvs on the website and even boasted of a tv in every roomThat's great except for the cable doesn't work so all those tvs are basically wall artNot having cable was too bad until you realize that this cabin doesnt even come with WIFII mean it's 2017, *** has WIFIThe problem is that because neither are these listed on the website, then it's technically not advertisement but modern amenities? On top of this, trying to make the best of the situation, I was going to spend some time in the hot tub until I discovered it was green with a couple of band-aids floating in it!!! Ok well Atleast I can have a nice cup of coffee using the coffee machine right? Wrong!!!
