A response has been sent 10/19/2016...."I am responding on behalf of Travelers Property Casualty Company of America (herein referred to as Travelers). As we discussed during our in-person meeting on October 7 th , I will await additional correspondence from you to confirm all claim related repairs have been addressed. Once you are comfortable all has been addressed, please contact me directly to finalize resolution as we discussed."  Contact information was provided in the response letter.

A response was sent to Mr. [redacted] on 8/10/2015:
Travelers Claim Rep inspected the loss with you on March 31, 2014.
He was able to provide coverage for the vandalism damage to the building
glass and associated items that were installed by you as a tenant betterment
and...

improvement.  He also provided
coverage for the loss of business income during the time of the loss.  Payments in the amount of $1,372.31 were
issued to you for the covered portion of the loss.
In
addition, you claimed damage to the rooftop air conditioning unit as part of
the same vandalism loss.  Upon inspection
it was determined that the top grate, fan and other components inside the unit
was missing.  This damage is not
consistent with the vandalism loss to the front of the building.  Surveillance video showed the suspect
breaking the front glass of the building and running away.  The suspects would not have had access to the
roof during that time.
In
addition, Travelers inspected the same air conditioning unit with you on August
7, 2013 for a claim of theft/vandalism on July 24, 2013, under claim
[redacted].  At that time, the A/C unit was
not working as the fan and motor had been disconnected and was lying on the
bottom of the unit.  Travelers determined
there was no coverage for this loss and you were advised the same.
At
the time of this inspection, Travelers Claim Rep requested the repair invoices showing
that the unit had been repaired since the July, 2013 loss and was operational
at the time of this loss.  These invoices
were never received by Travelers.  Based
on the fact that the damage to the rooftop air conditioning unit is not
consistent or in close proximity with the type of damage found on the
surveillance video, no coverage was provided for this part of the loss.  There is also no indication that the unit was
repaired or operational after the initial inspection on August 7, 2013.  A denial letter for this portion of the loss
will be sent to you under separate cover.

A response was sent to Mr. [redacted] 12/30/2015.
The premium in dispute is actually from the audit for the 2014 policy term.  When the Audit Department does not receive a response for audit information they issue an estimated audit.  The estimated audit for the 2014 policy term was $553.00.  Enclosed with the response is a copy of the estimated audit for Mr. [redacted] records.
The renewal for the 2015 policy term was cancelled flat.  Enclosed with the response is a copy of the cancellation notice.  There is no premium due for the 2015 policy term.
Mr. [redacted] can either pay the estimated audit or contact the Audit Department (contact info provided) and provide them with the information needed to process an actual audit.

A response was sent as follows:
"We understand that you disagree with our underwriting approach related to drivers who are newly-licensed in the United States, and we regret any inconvenience you may have experienced as a result.  However, we respectfully decline your request for a full premium refund, as coverage was afforded to you from the date this policy was issued, December 19, 2014, until the date you instructed us to cancel it, February 15, 2015."
Contact information was provided in the response letter, if they have any further questions.%

A letter was sent today, 6/8/2016 to [redacted] after several attempts were made to contact her by phone, and discuss her claim.  Travelers is willing to allow the cost of three more days of rental which was $32.28 per day or $96.84, which is based on the cost of a rental plus applicable taxes that extends back to the date of loss.  The Actual Cash Value remains as previously outlined in the Travelers letter to her on May 23, 2016.  The liability decision was made within two business days which demonstrates no delay in handling.  Additionally, the law requires a person who has sustained damages due to the negligence of another to take all reasonable steps to minimize his/her damages.  In this case it would have been appropriate for [redacted] to obtain alternative transportation to and from work on Monday and Tuesday.

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:I know that I have the same coverage that I had in [redacted]t but that is precisely the point and this makes me even more frustrated with travelers because it makes me think that travelers did not even read my complaint. The point is that I was not happy with the coverage that I had in [redacted] which is why when I switched over to [redacted] the travelers representative to write my new policy  so that if I get involved in another hit and run I want to have a $250 deductible which later I found out is called a $250 collision deductible but the travelers agent did not do what I asked and that is the problem. The reason I know I asked for a $250 deductible was because before I moved to [redacted] I was involved in a hit and run and my deductible was $500 but I wished it was $250 like when I lived in Texas and I had a different insurance company but the reason why I did not argue with travelers was because I knew I did not ask for the $250 deductible within my policy was written for [redacted] but I know for a fact that I asked for a $250 deductible when my policy was written fo[redacted] which is a reason why I am so mad at travelers. I have been a customer with travelers for two years at least and I expected representatives to write me the policy that I ask for. If I did give my authorization it was because I was not aware that I was not given a $250 collision deductible because I just assumed that travelers would write me the policy that I asked for and that I pay for with my hard earned money  and I know that I did not sign anything saying that I accepted the policy.  So again I expect travelers to make their representative's mistake right by either reducing my deductible for claim number [redacted] to $250 like I originally asked travelers to write my policy for or if that's not possible  the other option is to mail me out a check for $150 to make up for the amount of my deductible that I would have to overpay because of a mistake that a traveler's representative made.
Sincerely,
[redacted]

From: [redacted]] Sent: Tuesday, August 02, 2016 2:26 PM To: Revdex.com [redacted] Subject: Re: You have a New Message from Revdex.com Serving Connecticut Regarding Complaint [redacted]   Hello   This is the first email I received from the Revdex.com - yes I got a response from Travelers, although it did not contain copies as claimed.  I also feel it should have travelers responsibility to run my husbands information before adding him to the insurance if they have certain violations that result in not insuring people.   It sounds like they are not giving me all of the information, and now we have to pay for their mistake.    -Tara Abbey

A response was sent to Mr **, 5/18/2015 as follows:
"We have been contacted by the RevDex.com on your behalf, concerning the above noted policy. They have shared your
statement regarding the refund that was due as a result of the cancellation of
your policy. I appreciate the...

opportunity to address your concerns and provide
some additional clarification.
I have taken a thorough review of your
account and understand that your desire was for a check to be issued to you as
opposed to the electronic refund that occurred. Unfortunately by the time we
were made aware of this, the refund had already been sent back to the account
that had been used to pay your premiums.
Once we have sent this refund to the card
company/bank, the money is no longer under Travelers control; we cannot cancel
the transaction once it has processed. In the event the account is closed, or
if for some other reason the refund cannot be processed by the receiver, we
must wait to be notified by them of such, and the money is then transferred
back to Travelers. I have found that this refund has been rejected and was
subsequently transferred back to Travelers. As a result, we are issuing a
refund check today that will be mailed to you. This will arrive under separate
cover.
I apologize for any frustration this
situation has caused you. Our goal at Travelers is to provide our customers
with a superior experience throughout their experiences with us and I regret
that we did not meet that expectation in your case.
Thank you again, Mr. **, for bringing these
concerns to our attention. Should you need any further assistance, please feel
free to contact me directly."

A response was sent to Mr. [redacted], 12/16/2015.....We have completed an additional thorough review of the policy taking into account Mr. [redacted]'s longevity and multiple policies with Travelers. In light of this review, we respectfully decline to reinstate his homeowner’s policy.

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:
As stated in my initial contact. ...

Travelers never made replaced drywall and baseboards a condition upon which my policy could be cancelled.
The removal of the drywall and baseboards occurred over two years ago during the first water/sewage loss. I was not reimbursed for the anything but mitigation services.
I expect to be informed of the conditions of the service provided by Travelers. Providing documentation of fixing the drywall and baseboards was not stated as a condition for continued coverage in any letter or documentation sent to me from Travelers.
The sudden cancellation is due to me using my policy like a paying customer does. The purpose for paying for coverage is to ensure that losses to the payee are covered. It is not to pay a large company year after year simply to be paying.
My basement is not dangerous, is not exposed to the outdoors, or out of compliance with any laws that exist. I use my basement regularly.
If lack of drywall and baseboards were hazardous, houses today wouldn't contain exposed brick as a desired aesthetic. Again, using lack of drywall and baseboards is simply pretext to deny paying customers coverage for losses suffered to no fault of their own.
Sincerely,
[redacted]

Responses to both Connecticut DOI complaints, underwriting and claim were responded to on 2/18/2016 and 2/8/2016 respectively.  Please refer [redacted]o the Connecticut Department of Insurance.  Thank you.

I got a call from the adjuster from Travelers on 11/08/15. I was told that they will make some adjustment of the labor rate and mail me the new estimate and extra payment.I received the new estimate and extra payment about week later. I have to reject the the new adjustment, because it is still short of $334.43. ( see my last response on 11/18/15 ) I rejected on 11/18/15 with Revdex.com. I also send the Manager of Travelers a letter of my objection. I requested the extra payment of $334.43 to settle the claim.

A response was sent to Mr. [redacted] on 6/18/2015:The response letter included a timeline back to 2012.     "Since your rating, we have had multiple emails from you and responded back and tried to resolve this
case with you for $8000 which significantly exceeds the rating you were...

given by the treating physician.
We never received any report from any physician you may have obtained a second opinion with. We
also never received any correspondence from an attorney indicating you are represented by them yet
many of your emails do refer that you were being advised by attorneys.
We have made multiple efforts to resolve this case with you for more than the value of the rating given
by the treating physician and ultimately the statute of limitations has now run and we are not able to pay
anyhing out on this claim. You were notified many times of our offer as well as the statute of limitation dates".

Travelers position has not changed, therefore, no response will be sent to Ms. [redacted].

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because: This response is insufficient, shows lack of concern and/or care, in respect to the entire...

business relationship and customer service and billing issues encountered when I counted on Travelers to represent me as my auto insurance company for which has fallen short.  The company took my payment over the phone and cancelled me with no notification then mailing refund check and statement to an inaccurate address.  Just poor follow up and care. Complete and unexpected disappointment.
Sincerely,
[redacted]

A response was sent 11/5/2015:
"We regret that you do not agree with the premium charged for
your vehicle.  However, our review shows
the correction to be proper based on our rates and rules currently in effect. "

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. However,...

Travelers should have resolved this matter the first time I requested assistance, not the 11th and not due to the fact we had to contact the Revdex.com.
Sincerely,
[redacted]

Ms. [redacted] indicates she doesn't want a reply from Travelers, so it has been decided not be reply to her.

A respnse was sent to [redacted], February 4, 2015.
"We completed a review of our policy records and we found a letter was sent to you on August 24, 2013 which indicated the chimney of your home was in need of repair. (copy of letter included with the response).  In the letter, we...

requested that you contact us within 60 days to let us know your intentions for correction the condition noted.  Subsequently, when we had not received proof of reparis or a response, on November 18, 2014 we sent youa notice of non-renewal of your policy."
Contact information was provided with this response to [redacted] to contact Travelers if they wish to discuss further.  However, Travelers was unable to locate a record or request for additional time to complete the repair prior to the cancellaiton date of January 7, 2015.%
