I like that Noon breaks things down, takes the guess work out of this monster called dieting or rather healther living, takes the individual and shows them that in reality, it doesn't have to cost an arm and a leg to reprogram yourself to taking better care of you. I like that your given help, coaching, even recipes to a variety of foods that are easy to make. And the cost isn't outrageous. Your given a set amount of time to loose a certain amount of weight. It's up to YOU what to do with that time and money spent. Do you waste it and complain that Noon didn't work or use it and see results? Noon isn't a magic pill. It's just a guide ment to help. I'm thankful. It's helped me see where some of my problem areas have been. Come the end of my run, there's a good chance I'll sign up for a second run with them to help me continue my journey. They, like me, are goal oriented. Noon is for people with goals.

I love this program! Gives you everything you need to succeed & the support when you feel like you just cant do it. I am down 10 pounds in 5 weeks & I am 100% confident I now have the tools & knowledge to keep losing & more importantly to keep it off forever. Thank you NOOM

I began Noom just before a two-week vacation in the Caribbean which wasn't an ideal choice. However, trying to follow the Noom stories and challenges kept me from gaining a lot of weight on vacation. Now that I'm home, I can put Noom's stories and challenges to work. All-in-all, I think Noom is it great plan and can work for me...where every other diet plan has failed.

This organization seems to be a good fit for those who enjoy using their smartphone, social media, and behavioral science information/methods for developing self control/monitoring/self discipline for weight loss and management. I gave a try and found it difficult for me to connect with social media group which I was assigned to: I believe I do best with live people to talk to. My coach was ok: encouraging. I did not learn much new on this site, but could see it being useful for many people.

This program is terrible. The tutorials are far too simple and the trainers just don’t check in. They’ll send you ads to get to you to spend even more of your money over and over again. Save yourself the trouble - don’t subscribe.

Way too expensive for nothing.

Clever writing, well articulated ideas, pretty graphics, mostly good common sense. There are some very odd things that stick out. There seems very little "personalization" although that was a big push in their marketing. Many foods are not included in the list so you KNOW your food grouping is off. You can't see your steps as a chart, so no real way to look back at your progress to learn about trends. The "sharing" seems very forced - like Facebook for weight loss. The coaches are well spoken and try to be helpful, but the actual help was pretty hit or miss. Way too much emphasis on the scale - which seems odd since they are so into science and all the science I have seen says that weighing yourself every day is NOT helpful. Some of the recipes were OK, but hard to access and impossible to actually use while cooking. The green/yellow/red food classification is never clearly delineated. They give a few examples, but most of the time choosing foods is a total shot in the dark. It was a great deal of money for me to spend, and now, 5 weeks in it feels more like a gimmick, and I that I have been the patsy. Oh, and no weight loss. Which might be my fault, but I feel like I did everything they asked me to. Won't be recommending it to my friends. Maybe it works better for narcissistic millennials.

Liked learning about the physiological tricks and understanding the whys behind why we eat. I quit the program because I’m vegan and most of the protein substitutes I consume were all considered “red” foods. So it became harder and limiting for me. I lost motivation because of this. I was also expecting a small group and more accountability from the counselors. But 1 check in a week on Monday is kind of a joke. When we should be getting check in’s twice a week. The articles were entertaining to read which kept me slightly interested.

I like Noom and I think that it is helping me. The daily readings are great, but I think that Noom pushes the one on one and group coaches a lot, but I think that is where the system lacks the most. Nothing about my interactions with my individual coach are personalized and I feel like they just spit back exactly what I say to them. I thought I would be getting recommendations and advice but that is not what is happening. In regards to the groups, they need far more facilitation from the group coach. There is an assumption that people will know how to create feeds for posts, but you can't expect everyone to know how that works. A lot of the people in my group seem older and just don't understand that. I think that it would be best for the group coach to create posts for the daily things we are supposed to talk about. This would encourage people to comment versus creating their own posts that don't make any sense.

The Noom app is somewhat user friendly, minus not disclosing the price. $99 every two months isn’t affordable. I did not see the cost when I initially signed up. I didn’t even use the app longer than 2 days and roughly 3 weeks late $99 was charged on my bank account and they refused to give me a refund. I DO NOT recommend this app! If you have an issue, there isn’t even a number provided to talk to an actual person, you have to “chat” with a computer.

The concept is great, and I like the educational components. I feel that the group function is difficult to use because the conversations are hard to follow and seem disjointed. I was also hoping that my coach would be more helpful, but she just says things like “what strategies could you use” when I’ve asked her a specific question. Overall, I like the service, but the group/coach issues have caused me to give it a rating of 3 stars.

Pro: The app has a lot of good articles and is based in science. It takes a multifaceted approach to weight loss.
Con: It takes a lot of time (weigh yourself, log food, read articles, take quizzes, post to group chat) daily. There is no way to save a recipe on an android device and their food library is not very extensive (have had to add several food items). I have found the "personal" coaching to be more generic (more "here's a link to our recipe section" and less "this is what your food logs are telling me")

What I do like: The daily articles are interesting and fun to read. I like the green/yellow/red food logging system to help me learn better food choices. My group coach is encouraging and it’s nice to have support from others.
What I don’t like: Weight loss for me has been agonizingly slow. Just 3.5 pounds in 6 weeks. My goal specialist feels like a bot, not a real person. She has been worthless. The food logging system is often inaccurate- the results for calories can vary greatly from the calories listed on the actual food packaging. I’ve paid for 3 months so I will continue trying to stick with the program until my time is up, but I will not renew unless there are some significant results shortly. I don’t think this is the right weight loss option for menopausal women.

I unsubscribed from Noom after accidentally entering a trial. On *** May they charged me £109. I couldn't install their app to talk to a coach, couldn't e-mail noom, couldn't call them? couldn't speak to a real person. Now they have charged me and that is more than my budget for grocery shopping. I now have 3 kids who need to be fed but am in overdraft because of noom, and am not able to speak to someone in that company.

I want a full refund but don't know how to get in touch

I was skeptical at first about whether Noom would work for me, but decided to try it since I wasn't making progress on weight loss or improving my exercise routine on my own. After 6 weeks, I can say that I've seen progress on both counts! I'm very satisfied with Noom overall and love their philosophy that it's not just a diet but a lifestyle change.
I love the food logging which has been a huge part of my success so far as well as exercise and weight logging and friendly reminders from the app. I also find the daily nutrition/psych lessons to be interesting and Noom does make it fun via their writing style and nerdy jokes. Personally, I'm not into the group sharing so I just skip that part, though it's a tool for those who like it.
My major critique is that I wish the Noom app would integrate with Fitbit or other health trackers and smartwatches. I got one as a reward to myself, and really wish the step count and exercise tracking via Fitbit would automatically transfer to Noom instead of me having to go in and log it separately. Fitbit also has a way to log and display food/calories (Noom is more accurate in that regard), and I wish I could get Noom to crosstalk with Fitbit to display the Noom day's food analysis/calories remaining on my Fitbit watch as well.

I love Noom. The format fits with my personality and need for accountability. They change the way you think about food and eating rather than just going for quick fix. I have been losing about a pound a week.

If you are honest and work the program, you WILL lose weight. The benefit is that it helps you to understand why you eat, when you eat, and how you eat so that you can make small changes slowly and change your lifestyle to be healthier.

I love that I don't have to drive to meetings. The daily information is clear and factual; I'm learning a lot. Checking in daily rather than weekly keeps me more focused on the plan. AND I'm losing weight!

I like it. I have, not yet, lost much weight but I have changed the way that I think about food and eating. I had become so caught up in what was bad for me and what I could not eat that meals had become rather frantic and guilty. Noom has not really taught me anything that I did not already know but it has reminded me that everything is available to me if I use good judgement and portion control. The articles are brief and entertaining and help me start my day off with a positive food outlook. Now, it is up to me to adjust what I am eating to begin losing weight. I really look at this as a longterm success and attitude change rather than a short-term diet. I look foward to seeing where I will be in a month.

I tried an app called noom and the app wasnt working right on my cellular. I tried to contact noom by phone but everytime I called I couldnt reach them. Also they charged me $149 dollars after 14 days of trial which I could not try because the app wasnt working on my cellular. I asked for reimburstment but they dont want to reimburst my money. They charged me the full six month use without even notifying me. The app doesnt work and they refused to reimburst a charged illegally charged to me. Please help me stop this fraud. They wont answer and let the 14 days trial expired to charge the full six month use without the app being functional. Every time I tried to use it on my phone the cellular will stop working and hangs. Please help....
