As a food/exercise tracker and giving advice about food choices I am very happy with the program. I have lost some weight, am more consistent with my exercise and am building what I hope will be long term health habits. My main gripe is that Noom advertises itself as science based and claims that it produces sustainable weight loss, however none of my coaches were able to provide any evidence or data supporting that claim. The coaching and group are rather canned and trite, frankly annoying. However the basic lifestyle change program, especially the green/yellow/red food groupings are excellent and somehow the program has kept me engaged longer than any previous one I've tried. Overall, I'm happy with my choice and will continue to use it.

I’ve been with Noom for six weeks, and I am right on track. I’ve already lost 17 lbs and have been given the tools to continue making changes in my life. Some big changes, but mostly a slew of minor changes that all add up to looking better, feeling healthier and still enjoying myself.

I like the program. The focus on healthy eating and behavior changes is great. The app is easy to use so recording meals and exercise is pretty easy. You do have to be ready to motivate yourself, but I find the articles very helpful.

The weight loss program of Noom is significantly glitched. Despite my sister and I having a weight difference of nearly 100 pounds, it tried to force us both to eat at a 1200 calorie limit with no easy way to adjust the calories unless you are in the non-course section of the program. Tremendously unhealthy with the potential for personal illness and injury.
On top of that, attempts to reach out and request a refund went unreplied, especially when asked why my free trial cost 50 dollars. Noom replied once to tell me to contact Google and did not reply to any further e-mails. Unethical to the extreme. You're better off working with a local dietician or recording calories in

This is a horrible company. Subscriptions are not clearly stated at all. They charged me 129.00 for 4 months when I understood it to be a month to month app. I didn't even use it. Very poor customer service.

I love the premise and lots of the info is spot on but there are a number of issues I find frustrating. You can’t go in and out of the lessons without having to start over which is annoying. And if you do leave a lesson to log meals, all info you started to input is lost. The log for meals is seriously lacking. *** and other simple diaries have much larger databases which make it easier to modify and enter what you eat. For example, if I buy a salad and bar code it, the measurements are often in odd formats, such as just calories and with many times, it’s hard to input not eating the dressing or leaving something out. Also, the database will have only limited entries from even nation wide chains. The psychology and plans are great but if you’re a busy mom, it can be hard to keep up. Also, if you’re sick or away and out of range. Also, with the log for meals, you have to completely exit the log and go back in to enter other meals, so if you fall behind you have to take extra steps to catch up which is defeating and frustrating for the money paid

I like the philosophy behind Noom, but I am struggling to keep up with all of the reading. I can read it, but "digesting" it in a way I can apply it takes longer than simply 2 seconds. I feel rushed to understand and apply everything I am learning. Alos, I wish there was a better communication piece with my group. It seems to lack a little organization. Overall, I am losing weight, so I am happy. But, I wish there were options as to the pace I wish to work.

Poor customer service. Poorly written out refund policy. Good luck actually finding a real person to talk to. Advertises that you get a real trainer, but I found its really an bot. I feel its a total scam.

Noon is the most sensible way to eat and get in shape. The program has been nearly effortless for me to follow to lose weight and improve my health.

I've been a Noomer for just over a month and lost over 15 pounds during that time.
But better yet, I'm learning why I eat what I do and why I eat as much as I do. With this understanding I plan on losing more weight and keeping it off once I "graduate" from Noom!

It is a good app and a good system to help lose weight. It is not just a matter of recording what you eat, and how much and the weight. It is also accompanied by very usual information, a system of support that helps you stay focused and stick to the program.

Noom has been a great plan for me thus far. The application is what I like most about it. It's easy to log your food and exercise, it educates you and all articles make sense, then there is the support. It is really a sensible, well balanced plan to lead a healthier lifestyle.

Noom is very helpful for changing eating habits and making long-term adjustments to behaviors related to food. I have learned a lot and I am losing weight.

Noom is amazing it really breaks down how and why I eat. I love all the tricks and tips it gives me everyday! I would recommend noom to everyone!

I’ve really enjoyed this program so much. I’ve needed the accountability for a long time. I’ve tried to do it on my own with a journal and calorie book which is very tedious. This is not. It’s so easy and fun to use. Plus I like that it shows that the more you move the more your calorie budget increases. I really like that factor. I’m a slow looser but I’m in for the long haul??

I think it is GREAT!!! I had no issue whatever with the account service. I learned that a friend had gotten a coupon and paid less than I, so they refunded my initial $99 for the two months (prorated), and then signed me up for a program at a much lower cost. They COULD however be more open about their pricing. I think they have to make that change.
I'm not terribly interested in the group aspect, and having a coach is good when you have a question or to suggest some motivating tips, but I find the reading material especially good. It's an easy quick read each time, and it makes the entire program extremely extremely helpful!!! Also, their recipes are EXCELLENT! I've tried all sorts of new soups and have really enjoyed it. I got tired of *** and just couldn't do it anymore and then gained back the weight.
I've lost about 12 pounds in my first 5 weeks, and I am not suffering. I love the idea of building new habits, and this really shows you how. You just have to commit to 10 minutes a day and to writing down what you eat if you wish to be successful. But that is not much!
Go for it if you hope to go for a new trimmer and healthier you!

I am about six weeks into Noom and LOSING WEIGHT! I like the group interaction, the education and information that helps me retrain my brain and I love the daily accountability! This is a program I can see myself succeeding with and finally getting back to who I have wanted to be physically and mentally for DECADES!!
If you are someone truly ready to make a change and you want to surround yourself by like minded people I would encourage you to reach out and try Noom!!

I started with Noom at the end of April, 2019. I find it a very good way to learn about taking better care of yourself. I have lost a number of pounds already, and with the way they teach you about losing weight and changing your life style it is very easy to do. They are there to help you if you have questions, and you have a group that can also help you, as they may be experiencing the same problems.

I’m down 15 lbs after 4 weeks. This isn’t a “diet program”, rather it focuses on making a lifestyle change. I feel hopeful for the first time in a long time!

Noom is easy to use. Good info that has helped me with meal planning and portion control. Lost 10 lbs in 10 days then plateaued. Continue to lose fat. Waist measures 7.5” smaller in one month. We’ve changed how we eat without giving up our fave foods/restaurants. So I don’t feel deprived. I recommend it for anyone wanting to eat healthy.
