One Main Financial is a clean, friendly office

Very misleading.....I tried to get a loan with One Main to consolidate my bills This was a recommendation from Credit Karma which I feel would be a reputable to help with your credit scores I submitted an application, received a pre-qualification #, I called the office and spoke to a sales person, gave them all of my details but nothing happened I was told that I did make enough money and needed another income Proceeded to do a joint application with my husband and again, nothing....Was told that they would refinance my vehicle and give $in cash How does that help me consolidate my bills I mentioned to them before I decided to add my husband to the application that I would use a debt consolidation program but was told that would not be a good choice Trying to get approved from One Main was a joke I was so disappointed to know that these people work with fair to poor credit but can't help out I was also a unsecured loan for $5000...really? Don't work with this company...they are crazy....That is not how you do business

I was referred to OneMainFinancial by Lending Tree as a possibility to refinance a personal loan After a couple of initial glitches with OneMainFinancial, even with not so good creditI was able to lower my payments by over $per month I have to especially compliment the staff members at their *** *** office in Los Angeles who have always been extremely pleasant and helpful in over coming the initial glitches

I appreciate their help they explain everything in complete detail and the options that I have again thank you I look forward to doing business again

At first I got accepted on line with a specific amountThen the office called and said they have to asked more questions and the process took a few more days with a less amount than I was originally approved for on lineThe process was a bit uneasy, but when your asking for a loan; I guess you just have to go through the process

Their customer service is ridiculously bad The do not return phone calls We asked for a payoff letter two week later they had not sent the letter When we called about it they stated that it was in the notes but a ticket was never created, and they would fax it, they never did The people over the payoff letters will not even accept incoming calls
