interaction with both the client and her son, there seemed to have been a slight
confusion in understanding the details of the outcome in her case. Any and all
questions as well as concerns have been addressed to the client’s satisfaction.
More importantly, the client now understands the details of her resolution and
the benefits arising thereof. She also understands that the outcome is not in
any way or form “hiding from the IRS” but a well-accepted and legitimate form

I had a good experience working with the people at optima and I'm glad they were able to help me with my problem.

Optima Tax was great!! They did exactly what was promised. The process is broken down into several steps with different departments handling their area of expertise. Everyone I spoke with was knowledgeable, friendly and organized. It’s quite a journey to final resolution and each case is different. Optima Tax was there for me every step of the way and reassured me whenever it was just plain frustrating. Optima Tax has been diligently performing its obligations outlined in the Client Services Agreement. Given the status of the client’s liability with the IRS, time is of the essence and updated documentation is continuously being requested by the IRS. The client has provided Optima Tax with the necessary documentation, but at no point did Optima Tax lose that information. As stated previously, The IRS consistently requires updated financial documentation when it comes time to establish a resolution on the client’s behalf, which is the reason that the client has received numerous requests from us.   It’s unfortunate that the IRS has placed a lien against the client; however, we are in a position to help remove the lien while progressing towards a formal means of resolve with the IRS. Receiving the required documentation and timely responses from the client is imperative as we continue to move forward with his case. I had a great experience with Optima. I was 2 years behind filing taxes due to a life changing event that took time and money to heal. My money went to paying medical bills. The case workers and accountants at Optima were always kind, courteous and helpful in explaining legalities. As the client stated in their complaint, Optima Tax conducted a thorough investigation into the client’s tax liability and presented her with our formulated strategy on how we can help resolve her case.   Prior to the client enrolling with Optima Tax and the investigation of the client's tax situation taking place, the client was quoted a price based off the information she provided her Optima Tax Associate. Once Optima Tax completed the investigation of the client's tax file it was revealed that her case was more complex than initially explained, which consequently added to the services Optima Tax would need to provide during our Resolution Phase.   We understand that pricing can ultimately weigh in on the client’s decision to move forward onto our Resolution Phase. discuss his claims, as stated in the complaint. It is truly unfortunate that
the client was not initially satisfied with the result of our investigation. For
clarification, Optima Tax’s services are divided into a two phase approach,
Investigation and Resolution. During our Investigation phase, Optima gathers
extensive information on the case, which is then presented to the client with
our proposed Resolution services.
Each
client that Optima Tax represents
will receive our agreement and go through a detailed, recorded, Verification
Call to assure that the client fully understands the services he has purchased.
Based off our conversation with the client, there was a misunderstanding as to
the services Optima Tax would
provide during the Investigation Phase. Although we do file tax returns on
behalf of our clients, we only offer those services during the Resolution
Phase. Misunderstanding aside, we are pleased to say that we provided the
client with various options that have been accepted and satisfy the client’s
concerns.

Optima Tax’s Management was already
in contact with the client in an attempt to address the client’s concerns prior
to receiving the Revdex.com notification. Optima Tax’s program is
broken down into two phases, an Investigation Phase and the Resolution Phase,
which is described in the Client Services Agreement. Optima Tax conducted a
thorough investigation on the client’s case and concluded that there were
multiple resolutions that may apply to the client’s unresolved tax situation.
Unfortunately, the client did not feel it was feasible to move forward with the
Resolution Phase based on how it was structured. Prior to the Revdex.com complaint,
Management had presented all possible resolutions to the client, however; the
client felt that it would be in her best interest to go another route to
resolve her current tax matter. As a good faith gesture and without admitting
any wrong doing, Optima Tax agreed to not dispute her charge back filed with
her bank.

client to address her concerns.  Based on
the client’s complaint, we first addressed her dissatisfaction with the service
of her Case Manager. Upon further review of the client’s case, Optima feels
confident that the assigned Case Manager was working diligently toward a
satisfactory result for the client. However, in order to ensure the client’s
continued satisfaction with Optima’s service, Optima Tax’s management has decided
to reassign her case to another Case Manager.
 
Next,
Optima addressed the lien that the IRS implemented against the client. We
advised the client of the options we may take in anticipation of removing the
lien. We also discussed the importance of timely receiving certain documents from
the client in order to develop and strengthen her case before the IRS. The
client agreed to work closely with our management to avoid any set backs on the
requested documents. Although, initially, the client asked for a full refund, upon
speaking with Optima’s management she has decided to continue her relationship
and allow us to resolve her case. The client felt more at ease after speaking
with a senior representative and confirmed that she is optimistic about the
strategy we have in place to resolve her liability.

Optima Tax’s management has made contact with the client to
discuss his claims stated in the complaint. Although Optima Tax is very successful
in reducing our clients’ liability, we do not make any promises nor do we make
any specific guarantees that our clients would automatically receive a
reduction. Any reduction to our clients’ tax liability must be presented and
approved by the applicable government tax authority.
 
Furthermore,
based on the Client Service Addendum, which the client had agreed to and
signed, the client had hired Optima Tax for Representation, IRS Compliance and to
ultimately set the client up on an affordable payment plan. As we continue to
review the client’s case, it appears that Optima Tax was able to receive a nominal
reduction in his liability. Additionally, each and every client will go through
a financial analysis to assure that we have explored other possibilities for
further reductions.
 
The
client unfortunately claims that no one contacted him regarding his concerns.
Contrary to this statement, however, upon receiving client’s notification of
his concerns on or about November 20, 2015, our Executive Relations Team
immediately reached out the same day to address his concerns. The team also
followed up on the 23rd until contact was made on the 24th.
We are pleased to say that as of December 10th of 2015, we came to a
mutual resolution and are parting ways amicably.

client is unsatisfied with the end result of our investigation. In order to
clarify, Optima’s services are separated into a two phase approach,
Investigation and Resolution. During our Investigation, Optima gathered
extensive information which we presented to the client along with our proposed
Resolution services.
 
In most
cases, during the initial investigation, Optima Tax will discover that the
client’s case is more complex than our clients may realize. Moreover, Optima
uses the information it gathers during the investigation, to establish the
services that we will provide in the Resolution phase. Additionally, the IRS
will often enforce collection action on our clients and our investigation allows
us the opportunity to implement a stay of collections to assure our client’s
are protected. Although it may appear that the information we obtained was
virtually identical to the information the client had knowledge of, we ultimately
conducted a thorough investigation, as outlined in the Client Services
Agreement, and thus performed all of our obligations that the client enrolled
for. We have yet to finalize any resolution with the client; however, we are
confident that we will come to a mutually satisfying resolve.

Hello my name is [redacted]. I'd like to express my satisfaction with Optima Tax Relief LLC because they settled my back taxes for the year of 2014 and were able to resolve this issue with the IRS. I owed the IRS $14,051 and they were able to get me a $387 refund and now I'm worry free and no longer have an issue with the IRS. Optima Tax’s management has made contact with the client to discuss
his claim. Upon review of the case, we have no doubt that the client thoroughly
explained his financial situation to his Tax Associate. We also have no doubt
that his Tax Associate thoroughly explained to the client our two phase
approach, including that the retainer for Phase Two resolution is contingent
upon the investigation into the complexity of the case.
Once the
investigation was complete, the information Optima Tax received from the IRS
showed that his case was significantly more complex than what was initially
conveyed to Optima Tax. Despite such difficulty Optima Tax was able to
negotiate a stay of enforcement of the client’s impending collection activity
to allow him time to gather the necessary financial documents
to submit for a resolution. We understand the client’s concern with the quoted
price, however we hope the client understands that Optima Tax performed a
thorough investigation as outlined in the Client Services Agreement. Although we
regret the client did not initially see the value in our services, we are
pleased to say that after discussing the work performed with the client, we
were able to come to a mutual and satisfactory resolution.

I finally contacted Optima Tax Relief to help me. I had been putting it off because you just don't believe anything anymore. Well I wish I had called sooner. The people were wonderful. We followed all of their instructions. Then the next phone call I received from them was "now that you no longer owe any back taxes". I couldn't believe my ears. The biggest weight was lifted from our shoulders. I couldn't be more pleased with this company.

Me and my husband were so overwhelmed with our debt to the IRS that my husband decided to call Optima Tax to get us help, they at once stopped our monthly payment arrangement and took our case.
