My experience with Optima Tax Relief was nothing less than outstanding The staff were highly professional and dedicated to helping resolve my tax problem It was as though I had an army of people working on my tax issue In the end a settlement was made and it was $20,less than I owed A special thanks to Gabriel who initial assisted me early in the process and to my case managers Nereida, Simone and a special thanks to Latda Vand assistant Tuyet Nfor their fantastic work I highly recommend Optima Tax Relief

SUMMARY - Optima Tax's management made contact with the client to discuss his concerns as outlined in the complaint RESPONSE - Optima Tax’s management has made contact with the client to discuss his concerns as outlined in the complaintOptima Tax is disappointed that the client has experienced a certain level of frustration with our services but we have presented an option to the client that will allow us to continue servicing their personal caseWe are pleased that the client was able to resolve his business liability; however, this does not negate the fact that Optima Tax performed a vast amount of effort to resolve the client’s business liabilityThroughout the course of our services, the client was prompt in providing the requested documentsThe assigned tax professional was prompt in sending the necessary documents to the assigned Revenue OfficerAfter repeated attempts to get in touch with the Revenue Officer to discuss the case, the tax professional received a message from the IRS that they lost the requested documentsThe tax professional immediately resent the informationThereafter, the tax professional, again, made repeated attempts to reach the Revenue Officer, with no successWe can provide a log of our attempts upon request As we continued our attempts to contact the Revenue Officer, the client was very diligent in sending in any requested or updated documentsWhile sending in the requested documents, the assigned team was also preparing documents to satisfy the client’s personal liabilityAlthough the Revenue Officer was proving to be unreachable, we took the initiative and contacted their Automated Collect Servicing unit to determine what could be done to help expedite a resolution of the liabilityYes, we did present the client what appears to be the same figures as when the client initially signed upHowever, had the Revenue Officer been more responsive to our actions, we are confident we would have achieved the same outcome the client was able to achieve outside our services We believe that the option we presented the client is reasonable in comparison to our efforts to help resolve his business matterMore importantly, it will allow us to continue our relationship and help resolve his personal liability We assured the client that the assigned team will be extremely diligent in handling the case and will seek the best possible outcome At Optima Tax we strive to uphold the philosophy that "clients come first" and all of our representatives go through rigorous training to assure we abide by that philosophyWe take all complaints very seriously, and we do our best to turn them around when possibleOptima Tax believes it has addressed the client's concerns appropriately and considers the matter closed Please do not hesitate to contact Optima Tax with any questionsThank you

Revdex.com: I reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] Since the business made no response through Revdex.com; rather merely posted a rebuttal, there is no proposed action to resolve our complaintFurthermore we are still waiting After numerous efforts to arrange a telephone call with the business in the complaint, their representative finally contacted us on 9/ The call was extremely acrimonious Eventually, I was asked what would settle the complaintI stated we would settle the complaint for $7, She promptly stated they would never go for that I was told I would hear back from her There has been no further contact other than the rebuttal posted on the Revdex.com website Furthermore I was threatened that if I escalated my complaint further - NOTHING would be offered to settle our complaint.When we asked for an accounting of time and materials, we were told there were no attorney involved; that is not how they operateImagine my surpriseMore evidence of advertising and leading us to believe we had obtained "representation" on our behalf with the IRSAfter all, the first action we need to comply with was to authorize legal representation by giving the company's legal representatives POA to communicate on our behalf with the IRS They were prompt to forward us a copy of said POA executed by counselors, thereby continuing the ruse that we would, in fact, be immediately represented in our then "simple" issue with the IRS (we had not made payment of penalty and interest for a late filing in 2013) Each time additional notices from the IRS with legal complications were received, we contacted the business and requested to speak to the legal representative assigned to our case Each time the case worker (gate keeper) said that we had to conduct all our communication through the case workerThus we were at about the half point in our relationship with the company when we began to smell a rat I repeat, the final straw was not when the liens were filed on our property; but when I contacted the company and urgently requested intervention with an IRS threat to garnish our social security paymentsAt that time we were, as the company/case worker repeatedly referred, in "full compliance" with the IRS - all returns filed Despite the urgency of our situation, NOTHING WAS DONE by the companyThe end result being that both our social security payments are now garnished for the maximum allowance of 15% each I repeat, this was the final strawStill at this time, if the company had achieved a resolution with the IRS on our behalf - NO SOLUTION WAS EVER PRESENTED TO US - NEVER WERE WE TOLD the company had achieved a resolution with the IRS If there was such a resolution, let them present said resolution for the record along with the dated correspondence when resolution was transmitted to usAGAIN, I state we paid the company just under $10,for nothing and within months ended up in a more critical position with the IRS than when we engaged the company in Oct to resolve a fairly simple situationWe are still waiting for their reply to our answer as to what it would take to settle the case.Regards, [redacted]

Calling Optima Tax Relief was the best decision I have ever madeAfter many years of sleepless nights dealing with the IRS, I finally can breatheI owed back taxes and my payment plan with the IRS wasn't even paying the interest they were charging meI contacted Optima and my days of dealing with hours of sitting on hold with the IRS is over! Optima provided great service and, more, compassion in helping me resolve my financial problems I was wary of any "tax relief" firms, having heard lurid accounts of fraud and so forth Optima is an honorable, conscientious and professional organization Its employees really care about helping and walk you through the process with patience If you are having tax problems, I would recommend calling Optima without hesitation
