I am very disappointed to receive a "statement of Credit Denial/ termination or Change" from Paramount Equity Mortgage LLC after almost months of me declining to take up the bad loan offer from their companyI declined to go with them not the other way aroundThey claimed my loan is "No out of pocket" except for the $or so for the escrow that will be tagged to the loan which I accepted The only reason I was trying to refi is to lower my payment and to reduce the number of years with my current mortgagor (DITECH)I was told I qualify for HARP program and after over a month of requesting everything from me that is needed and trust me, I provided everything and anything they ask of meThey came back to tell me they have secured a loan with FANNIE MAE for me and after reviewing the amount, I saw that they had tagged about $to the loan which they stated was a fee from Fannie MaeI was furious because I have been very patient and gave them all the required documents and am wondering why FNMA wants to punish me for refinancing instead of helping me I declined the offer even though we were about to close because all these new fees tagged to my loan of $6K was not part of the deal and to wait till closing to spin that on me was very low of the companyI really did not care if we are closing or not, I told them I have options and would not take that deal so I declined I would not have said anything about their bad ways of loan processing but I got a letter stating they declined to refinance me (totally false) because of incomplete credit application? what incomplete application was that? why send out letter or any letter at all? Glad I did not go with the company

Had the best experience with Paramount Equity Mortgage had everything moving in a great pace got my refinance done on a timely manner and Nathan WS [redacted] was a super star helping us out with all our questions and any concerns that we hadI would recommend them to my friends and family and I would certainly use them again

Will G [redacted] with Loanpal was not the first lender to call when we started looking at refinancing but when he did call he was sincere and honest about what Loanpal would do to make our lending experience a positive oneHe took the time to answer all my questions and helped me to completely understand the process and he made himself available via phone/text as we went through the whole processIn our ignorance we had initially decided to go with a different lender who actually told us that we needed to give a credit card number to lock in a rate and get an appraisal and didn't even lock in the quoted rate until I gave them a competitors bidWill, who had already locked our rate with Loanpal and committed to appraisal in the loan costs, called me to see if we were ready to move forwardI told him that we had decided to use the other lenderHe sounded disappointed but was not rude or angryLater I received a pleading yet informative email from Will about the lender we had chosen which caused me to think twice about using themWith further research about Loanpal(which was mostly positive) and finding out that the other lender was known (and had actually been sued) for using "bait and switch" tactics, I was convinced that I had gone the wrong wayThe other lender's appraisal was done at this point (we were charged for it) and we were fully approved with them tooI called Will to ask what we could do if we were now to use Loanpal insteadHe was very understanding and willing to go the extra mile to get us the best deal possibleHe got the loan costs down even more, with no out of pocket costs and even got the cost of the appraisal waived in the endWe moved forward quickly and were able to close and fund a week before the rate lock expiredI would recommend Will to anyone who is looking to get a loan

I read a lot of negative reviews about this company, but my initial loan officer seemed honest enough so I proceededHalfway through the process he apparently didn’t show up for work and they gave me another loan officer who had no idea what had been discussed previouslyIn addition, I felt extremely pressured to move things along as quickly as possibleWhen they verbally asked me what I thought my house was worth I told them 370,The appraisal actually came in at 384,Somehow, they had it in their records that I told them $400,000, which was a blatant lieI was supposed to be rolling a student loan into the deal but after the fact they told me the appraisal didn’t come in high enough for thisNot at any time did someone actually verbalize this to me before I sat down and signed the hundred pages of documents with a notary who had nothing to do with the company Not at any time did someone actually verbalize this to me My whole point of this was to be able to roll the student loan in and I would not have proceeded had I known that wasn’t part of it Very dishonest company, would not recommend them to anyone I should have gone with [redacted]

Our EVP of Sales Operations spoke with Ms [redacted] on 12/23/2014, and committed to refunding the amount of she previously paid for her appraisal Based on this discussion, we believe this complaint to have been satisfied

Based on a review of our call records to the complaintant, we attempted phone calls over a day period from 12/4/through 1/20/ Our first call was answered by the complaint's son who indicated the complaintant was not at home, and that we should call back that evening All other call attempts until our final call on 1/20/were picked up by the complainant's answering machine It wasn't until 1/20/that our call was answered and we were requested to add them to our Internal Do-Not-Call List which we did, and no other calls were attempted We take our obligations under federal and state laws seriously with respect to our telemarketing efforts We believe we were compliant and satisfied their desired settlement

I contacted Paramount Equity in regards to obtaining a cash out refi in early JanuaryI worked directly and solely with [redacted] In the initial correspondence with ***, I provided ALL documentation that he requested in regards to meeting Paramount Equity's pre-approval criteria [redacted] looked over my info and told me I would be approved for a refi loan [redacted] then asked me to pay the $appraisal fee, he assured me he wouldnt ask for the fee if he didnt feel I would be approved by underwritingHe also stated the fee would be refunded if there were any issues moving the loan forward [redacted] also ran my credit times in one week which lowered my score by pointsI asked why would he run it so much, He told me the score drop would not effect meFast forward to late februaryI was told since I had a charge off from and a old lien (which I paid for and had corrected cause I was told things would move foward after clearing up) I wouldn't be approvedI have left message/

I was contacted by LoanPal Specialist [redacted] about refinancing my houseMr [redacted] service itself was impeccable, but I cannot say the same about the practices of his employer Beginning early this year, Mr [redacted] walked us through a process for refinancing our home, and everything went well, until it came time for the appraisalLoanPal based the amount we qualified for (which they volunteered from the beginning, we never asked for a specific amount) on the values of other similar properties in our neighborhood The appraiser valued our house to be worth about $20,less than LoanPal estimated, which in turn would have increased our monthly payments, not reduced themWe politely declined to refinance, and Mr[redacted] understood A few days later, we received a letter from LoanPal, stating our "loan application was denied because of insufficient collateral"

Hadley and Sara W At first we were skeptical about Paramount Equity, but Paul S., Christina Nand David kwere very helpful throughout the whole process and they did a great job in explaining everything pertaining to the loan process and returning our calls and emails in a timely manner

We responded to a flyer we got in the mail about refinancing our homeWe contacted Paramount Partners Group and worked with [redacted] to being the processWe felt that the process was taking a long time and were turned off by the lack of response when we would attempt contact about the status of our refinancePart of the agreement was that we pay $for a home inspectionWe paid that moneyOn June 20th we requested a refund both over the phone and via emailThe email never recieved a response but over the phone we were promised our refund of the moneyIt has been a month and we still do not have our refundWe want our $backRefunds do not take this longI should mention that we never actually had the inspection that we paid the $for

My refinance experience with "Seth T***" at Paramount Equity Mortgage was a positive one! MrT [redacted] was responsive, organized and he managed to keep the process moving forwardMy loan closed within the quoted timeframe I would most certainly do business again with Seth and the Paramount Equity team because they earned stars
