A huge disappointing experienceI switched from a different lender after promises of expediencyMy loan processor is amazing, very communicative, professional, and she tries very hard to keep things lightA refinance should NOT take months to completeI was so happy to hear the refinance was "approved" and that Paramount would be closing by mid month (in October) that I took my car to the mechanic to get fixedIt had been sitting in my driveway waiting for me to have the funds to fix Due to the multiple delays, I am now out an additional $1,in "storage fees" for my car, because I can't pay off the repair bill until the refinance is completedWe are coming up to month end November, and I've just learned the refinance will be delayed againIf you are in a tough financial situation and depending on a refinance to help get you in the "clear", do not use ParamountMy financial situation is exponentially worse than when I started, and the stress just isn't worth itI hope we are able to have a Merry Christmas:(

I recently tried to refinance with ParamountI have a PACE loan tied to my house which I informed the Broker *** before starting the processHe told me no problem we will subordinate this no problem I paid for an appraisal , which he said the " we guarantee and will refund if we cannot complete the loan." half way through the process I ask about the PACE loan again and was assured no problemWe get to the end of the loan process and it comes up and now I am told "they will not subordinate to the loan" First it was we will subordinate the loan now it is they will not subordinate the loan? Then I am told I have to call and try and convince PACE to subordinate the loan, to no availI am told we can't do the loan so I will get my appraisal back, smash cut to the next day I am told I am not getting the appraisal back because " if the bank can't do the loan then they will refund." They then told me That they could do the loan but can't because of the subordination? This is deception an

On November 9, 2017, my husband recieved a unsolicited telephone call while at work from a Paramount Equity Mortgage Representative We had been a prior customer of this company and apparently they were calling to try to get us to refinance The man on the phone told my husband that there were a couple options to refinanceMy husband asked what they were At that point, without stating that he was going to run our credit, this individual used our prior data to run our credit I called the next day (11/10/17) to speak with the manager (the receptionist told me his name was *** ***), however, the manager refused to speak with me and instead put me in touch with the same indivdual that my husband spoke with This gentleman claimed that he said it but maybe "my husband didn't hear him" and that legally my husband could authorize him to run my credit as well I had my husband listen to my conversation with this gentleman, and he stated that he NEVER said that he would run our c

I have a two complaints regarding Paramount Equity Mortgage that I need assistance with please
The first: I refinanced with them in June/July with the first payment being due August 1st When I refinanced I was told that I had a seven year warranty by *** *** and that warranty meant that if they could offer me a lower rate they would refinance and ALL costs would be covered by them I noticed in October that my loan was still not on my credit rating and that my credit rating was taking a hit so I contacted asking the time frame for the reporting I was met instead with a reply that they could refinance and cash in the warranty getting me a lower rate of 3.75% I said okay fine and started the paperwork this time working with *** *** as *** left the company for some reason When I looked at the paperwork I noticed that my payments had not been calculated into the loan as well as an additional around $5,in fees added on When I b

I have been told that the process is not all legal, and the paperwork I see is not the same as the final documentsAs of right now I have not heard from them for two weeks and no longer want to do business with them! Well what can I say just that Paramount Equity Mortgage is simply that PARAMOUNT! The customer service is off the charts, these guys work extremely hard to the loan done, fast communication, and stress level on getting a refinance done in my small window was very very minimalShout out to my Loan Officer Patrick C**, if you want a Loan Officer that will fight for you and stay with you and follow up and do what needs to be done to close a loan this is your guyAlso, shout out to Andrea S***, she was extremely helpful and knowledgeable on the closing forms and working through some minor set backs with closingAll and all this California based company hit on all stars for me and my family, low rate and low payment and minimal closing cost (shocking)I'm from Texas, and all my future loan closings, will be done through Paramount Equity Mortgage and passing the good word onto family and friendsThis company and it's employees is what you want in a mortgage business hands down! I selected Paramount Equity as the mortgage broker to handle a simultaneous purchase and refinanceAt first the mortgage specialist was very pleasant to work with and responsiveConfusion began when I was passed off to the loan officerThe loan officer was not updated on information that the mortgage specialist and myself had discussed, or on documentation that I had providedSo I would get requests for information that I had already providedI was patient with this as I understand confusion occurs from time to timeHowever, my main issue is that the proceeds that I received after the settlement of the refinance was almost $shortWhen I emailed the mortgage specialist she came back with a reason for the shortage which sounded like an error on Paramount’s endMy response was that I expect to be paid according to the closing documents that were signed at settlementI have made numbers attempts since that email to contact the mortgage specialist as well as her District Manage
