For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below The action they are asking me to take is unlawfulAs the Magnus Moss Warranty Act states, a company may either have a full or limited warrantySince patio umbrellas.com has stated that they have an UNLIMITED Warranty on their products with FREE shipping, and since they have already seen pictures of my umbrella and determined I am eligible for a replacement, it is wrong for them to make me pay $shipping for a replacement or pay at my own expense to ship the old one backIf they really need the old one back, why would they be ok with not getting it back and having me pay $to ship the new one? If they do need the old one back, an unlimited warranty would mean I do not have to pay for shipping.? First order we purchased went smoothly and received in a timely manner as per their statement Second order however took several phone calls for several days to get resolved The second order of umbrellas color didn't match the original ones purchased and waiting for exchange or return Has taken them over two weeks to respondCalled them again today which it states on their website friendly customer service will guide you how to return well that wasn't the case for me He said to send email but didn't' give me one to send Went back to their website and called them again and got their automated service Sent another email and will see if they reply

Yes that is correctWe do replace the umbrella for free but we ask the customer to pay $for the return shipping, unless the customer wants to ship back the old umbrella back to usOnce the umbrella is received, we will ship him a brand new one for freeTo avoid the hassle and the cost of returning the old umbrella, we offer them to pay $and we send them a brand new one without them having to send it back.? ? 0 star experience with this company. Worst customer service stating I need to pay 40$ shipping when the policy doesn’t state this at all. I had one replacement sent free of charge. This second one should be free of charge as well. No response with an email and have spoken to the same person twice on the phone. Second person was beyond rude and not helpful.

In July 16, 2018 I received the umbrella with no hardware on July 18 they responded and sent the hardware. Installed my umbrella. On October 28, 2018 my umbrella collapsed. The cable inside broke and will not open. It is now 2/25/2019 and I am STILL trying to get my umbrella replaced under the "lifetime warranty". They said I have to return the entire umbrella to CANADA in order for them to ship me the replacement. This umbrella was not shipped from Canada so why am I having to ship this to Canada. I've sent pictures and I've been REALLY patient with this company. Any suggestions as to what to do? I would really like to use my umbrella. I didn't even mention the discoloration in the 3rd picture.

Please indicate where this umbrella needs to be returned to in order to get a replacement. You indicate in your email to me Canada? The original did not come from Canada.

I have requested a complete refundI had already stated with the business over the phone to *** that, the original emailed offer of $shipping is unacceptable, and as the company stated the shipping fee should be $120, that is also unacceptableAs I have never been offered a "FREE" replacement as stated in their policy, I require a full refund for all the hassle, inappropriate behaviour, and defective product purchased in good faithI look forward to the resolve I have put forwardThank you in advance
