I ordered an umbrella from them. It came but the color was wrong and did not match the furniture. Further the struts were to small to support the umbrella against the strong winds we have. I asked to return it for a refund. Finally after several days of phone calls someone answered and send me the material to return it. The Umbrella was shipped from the US and I was told to return it to Canada. Shipping, customs papers and so forth came to just a little less that what I paid for the Umbrella in the first place. Person on phone was not helpful.

This company has stolen $119.98 from me. I ordered an umbrella, it's cover, and billable base. They sent the umbrella only. I have called 3 times with no answer, left a message which was not returned. Did a chat twice, where I was promised, the rest of my order would be sent, but it never has been. My order was placed in July 2017. It is February 2018 and still nothing. This is a fraudulent company and should not be in business.

This is a great example of how online business should be done!! What a great company. Pleasure doing business with them. Probably the highest quality product out there and great customer support. My umbrella broke because of high winds and they sent me a free replacement right away. I promised that I will share my experience with everyone. A+ company!!

Review: I ordered a patio umbrella from this company. When I received the patio umbrella, it was of very poor quality, not the color I expected, and there was a large dent in the pole that holds the umbrella up. I first tried to email the company (per their website) within a week of receiving the umbrella to get a "return form" so that I could ship the umbrella back for a refund. No response. I emailed them a second time. No response. I called the company and was given a different email address to send my request to, but again, no response. I then emailed several other email addresses on their website. I used a "live chat" application that is on their website, however, no one is ever available to chat. There is an option to leave a message in this live chat application, which I did. No response. I called the company again, the number went straight to voice mail, the greeting in French (I believe), which I do not speak. I have gone over and above what a person should have to do to return a defective product. Especially when they claim, on their website, "money back guarantee", "lifetime warranty", etc.Desired Settlement: I would like to return this product to the company for a full refund.

Review: I have emailed this company, and they tell me to call them...I have called them, and they told me to email them. Most of the time, they do not even answer their phone, though I have gotten through one time, and they told me they were undergoing "maintenance" and to call back the next day. Next day, no answer. I even tried internet chat, but they keep telling me to call their phone number, and when I told him what I had been through, he hung up! All of this over a measly broken bolt on a patio umbrella. Early on, the said I should just get a whole new umbrella and pay $40 shipping, but I have not been able to get them to even complete that offer.I am filing this complinat because I want other people to know that they appear to be an unethical business that is hiding their inability to deliver any warranty services.Desired Settlement: If they would send me the bolt, I would fix it myself. Review: I ordered a patio umbrella online and am dissatisfied with the quality and would like to return it. The website return policy states that they have an easy return policy, just email a request for an RMA or call if not comfortable with emailing. I have emailed numerous times and phoned with no reply as to how to return the umbrella. The person on the phone keeps telling me to try to email once again (5 times thus far), that he will not/cannot give me the return info by phone. They promise a reply within 24 hours...a week later, I am still waiting. Review: We purchased a patio umbrella from this company on August 18, 2014 and it was delivered on August 21, 2014. It was not unpacked and set up until September 12, 2014. In less than 4 weeks of use , the crank mechanism broke. The company advertises a lifetime warranty on their products. Review: While researching online for patio umbrellas, I was directed to PatioSunBrellas.com. Their umbrellas were advertised at half price (compared to what), with free shipping, and a guaranteed full refund within 30 days if not completely satisfied. In my exuberance in finding this "deal" I failed to read and understand a major link in their scam; the product must be returned to their "corporate office" in Montreal, [redacted] in order to obtain a full refund. After several attempts to establish contact with someone on their 24/7 chat line, I gave up and ordered the product. It arrived promptly but as soon as I began assembly, I discovered it was all made of plastic except the actual umbrella and the flimsy stand. After a light breeze toppled the umbrella several times I emailed the company using the address listed in their add, requesting a [redacted]. After no response, I telephoned their "service department" and spoke to a very rude individual who informed me that I had used the wrong address. Much longer story, short. I was given two options, take a chump payment of 20% of the umbrella's value and be quite or send the complete assembly to Montreal, [redacted] using no other shipper except USPS. Promptly learning that doing so would cost nearly double what I paid for the junk umbrella in the first place. I appreciate you allowing me to vent. Review: On 3/7 I ordered an umbrella from this compan. They promptly charged

my card. On 3/18 I received my package. The top 1/3 of the package had been ripped off and retaped. When I examined the contents I noted just the umbrella and two cross pieces were in the box. On 3/20 I contactected UPS, the carrier and also the business. On 3/23 UPS picked up the damaged package. On 3/28 I received an email from the business offering an apology and a promise to ship a new umbrella free of charge. (how can that be? They already charged my card) they said I should receive the umbrella by the end of the week or the beginning of the next week. Well, that timetable has passed and still no umbrella. I have contacted the business via

numerous emails and voicemails. None of these communications have been acknowledged. On 3/31 UPS tracking number showed the damaged package was received ivy the company. So now I have no umbrella and $149.00 charge on my card.When I finally spoke to a real person on the phone, he stated they have never received any emails from me. So I copied the emails and sent them to the company. No acknowledgement. On 4/7 I made phonecall asking for the manager [redacted], he was not in...surprise! The individual I did speak with was unable to determine if a new umbrella had been shipped to me. Review: I ordered two umbrellas from this company. They charged me and then sent me two umbrellas, but of a much smaller size than the one's I had ordered, and been charged extra for. I spent two weeks, attempting to online chat, as well as email, through the customer service portal on their website. They have a section that states it is designed for contacting customer service. I never recieved a response. I became frustrated and called their sales number. This sales number is the ONLY number listed on their website. After 8 phone calls, all ending in a voicemail, on my 9nth call a very rude and short worded man informed me that I was not allowed to discuss customer service issues over the phone and there was nobody I could talk to. He told me the only way to handle customer service issues was through an email address, which was NOT listed on the customer service area of the website. So after he hung up on me, I emailed this address. I requested full refund and return postage coverage. Two days later, I finally recieve an email back stating it is too expensive to ship this size of items back and forth and that instead they would pay $20 to keep the umbrellas, that I had not ordered and were of the wrong size. I returned an email saying this was unnacceptable. Several days later they again emailed me and asked if I could return the umbrellas, postage to be paid by me, then when they recieved the product they would return my money from the purchase, but not the postage. Obviously this too was unacceptable and frankly offensive. I emailed them as such and have never heard a response. it has been weeks. The man I spoke to on the phone was extremely rude, the wording of the emails sent to me was also rude. I am at a loss. I am out $179 and do not have what I paid for and have been harrased by this company's abusive staff.Desired Settlement: FULL refund. Shipping covered to return items to company. After the treatment and torment I been put through, I frankly feel that damages are reasonable. I would like to be paid $500 or I plan to take them to court. Review: I purchased a patio umbrella from this company that was grossly misrepresented on their website. Upon receiving this product I assembled it, but it would not stand - even though all the pictures on their website showed it as a free standing product. I contacted customer service, who told me I had assembled it improperly if it was not standing. When I pushed the agent to verify it should be free standing as shown in the pictures, he offered to sell me the base weights at a discounted price. When I again asked him to verify it is a free standing product, he instructed me to contact the sales department on Monday. When I contacted the sales department, they offered me a 30% refund on the product. I accepted this offer, under one condition - they could send me a refund check, as the product was purchased on a prepaid [redacted] gift card that could not be used for the refund. After more than two weeks, they responded with "the refund was credited to your card". I immediately responded, showing them my request about the check, they only told me "contact your credit card company". They will no longer respond to any of my requests.Desired Settlement: I would like to have a check issued in the amount they promised me. I have a useless $150 umbrella, that even with 150 lbs of base weights, will not stay upright. They misrepresented the product, tried to buy off my complaint and then did not follow through on the refund.

Review: I purchased three umbrellas in August 2015. The first Sunday we set them up on the patio at the church, all three umbrellas fell and broke. I contacted Patio Sun Umbrellas the following morning and sent pictures of the broken umbrellas. I was told in email if I paid $20.00 per umbrella they would send out new umbrellas. When I called to give my payment information I was told it would be $40.00 per umbrella. When I explained the email said $20.00 the guy was rude, and hung up. I have continued to email them regarding the matter, I was told the manager would accept $20.00 per umbrella (in writing) I called again to give payment and was met with the same rude warehouse person. I emailed this week and said I would just return them and would like a full refund. The email I received today says I have to ship them to Canada.Desired Settlement: Full refund. Hands down, the worst company I've ever dealt with. Ordered an umbrella, base, and umbrella cover. Promised 3-5 day shipping. 3 weeks later, I received the base -- which was drop-shipped as a "gift" from Amazon.com. A few days later, the cover arrived. I never did receive the umbrella. After several failed attempts to contact the company via email and telephone, I filed a complaint through my credit card company, and eventually received a full refund. (Thank you, [redacted]!)

Review: The patio umbrella I received was NOT what I ordered. I ordered what I thought was an 8ft tilt umbrella with a lifetime warranty. What I got was a very poorly made, non tilting umbrella, that ripped the very first time I used it. I called the company and could not talk to a live person or the department I wanted " returns and refunds (4) ". I tried everything and finally was forced to go to an "order" department. Only then would someone answer the phone! The man that answered was not helpful at all and didn't seem to even be in your typical business call center. All the man would say was that I needed to email a complaint with a picture and I would hear from someone within two days. I did that, and have yet to hear from anyone!! I feel they are totally conning people thru false advertising and very poorly made products and then are totally ignoring people once they have sold their product. Review: I ordered 5 9ft umbrellas and 5 bases my total came to $599.90. I opened the bases 1 was damaged in the box. The other base leaked out all the water when I filled it. After 3 days of having 3 of my umbrellas up they broke from the use and wind. When I emailed them they gave me 2 options. Refund 20% of what we paid and keep the broken items or Ship back the items only using the US mail , get a tracking number. The cost for all of that is $98.00 to Canada.

No Where on their web site does it say I have to pay for return shipping or it has to be shipped to Canada. They were sent to me from Anaheim CA. Their web site says

Review: Bought umbrella and stand for $150 with shipping costs including. There's a 100% money back guarantee if not satisfied. Received the umbrella and the stand has scratches in it and umbrella has a small hole. It looks used. There is also a screw cap missing. The stand has to be bolted to my porch in order to stand up. I emailed and called the place and got a response two days later with two options. See below. Option #2 to mail back to Canada is $137 to send back by United States Mail. That is not 100% money back guarantee. I want the item returned and my money back.

Review: On May 11, 2015 I went online to PatioSunUmbrellas and ordered a Cantilever Umbrella - Brown for $149.99 plus tax amounting to $162.55. Upon arrivial on Saturday May 16, 2015 I opened the box and realized that I received the wrong color. I received a Tan instead of a Brown.

I have been in contact with the company and have done everything that they have asked, which included taking pictures of what was delivered and emaling them to them. Since this time I have had many disturbing conversations with [redacted] and [redacted]. They are insisting that they sent me the correct umbrella and can not help me further.

If you go to the website you will notice they advertise many colors including a Tan, a Beige and a Brown. They insist they do not.
