When returning a product, it only makes sense that you return the old product back, we cannot give free products to everyone. To make your life easier we offer you to just pay for the shipping of the new product and you don't have to send the old one back. It will save you the time to pack it up and send it back to us.

Waited a week for the umbrella to arrive, only to open the box to uncover two holes on the fabric. You have to wait a day for a response to your email to apply for your refund, return or exchange. Do not waste your time contacting anyone over the phone, they will just blatantly inform you of the same voicemail recording. Do not waste your time or money with this company.

Horrible Company Buyer Beware. Will ship you a broken umbrella. Then they will be impossible to contact via email or phone. At least I only bought one and now out $90.00

We apologize in advance if you are not 100% satisfied with the umbrella, therefore we would like to do our best to make you happy by giving you two
options:
1) We can refund 20% of what you paid and you get to keep the cover without any questions.
2) You would have to ship back the umbrella and reply to this e-mail with a tracking number in order to get a full refund. If we don’t get a tracking number, we won’t be able to confirm that we got it and we won’t be able to make a refund.
If you decide to choose option 1:
Simply reply to this email “Option 1” and we will immediately issue the refund, which may take up to 2 – 3 business days to get processed.
If you decide to choose option 2:
You would have to reply to this email “Option 2” with a tracking number and the name of the shipping company that is directed to the address below. Your RMA is # [redacted] (please provide this on the shipping label when you return it). Shipping cost is at your expense. Only once we receive the package, we will issue the refund, which may take up to 2 – 3 business days to get processed.
Please note that if you have more than one package to return, make sure that the RMA # is written on both packages.
Please only ship with USPS and NOT UPS. If the package is coming with another delivery courier than USPS, we will refuse the package. Also, please put a 20$ value on the package.

I have pasted a portion of the Warranty above on the umbrellas, and their last response to my concerns. They offered a 20% refund for the $487.09 purchase we made. That would be $97.42
When I quoted shipping the umbrellas to Canada, by USPS said they would not process a package that large to Canada, and Patio Sun Umbrellas said they will only accept shipment from USPS???
I regret making the purchase, and I would never recommend this company.
I will not give them any additional funds.

Any reputable company that sells defective products will send a new product at no charge and a return shipping label if they want the product returned.  The response by this company is a way to save them the shipping charges knowing that it would cost more to return the defective item.

Hi, the company does replace the umbrella for free. the customer only need to pay for the shipping fee of the new umbrella or simply return the old umbrella back to us just like any other store in the world.

I purchased light blue umbrellas. I received dar blue. I wanted a refund. They took a week to get back to me only to at first offer me 30% if I keep it then changed it to 20% if I keep it and when I said no I want to return it they told me I'm responsible for shipping it back. In other words I need to pay $30 plus for their mistake.
