This is not mentioned in their add at allThe umbrella is offered at a discount when purchasing with free shippingThe umbrella did not even last monthsIt is written in big letters "Free Shipping" I asked to have a bill sent via PayPal and was told noThe only way to pay is by giving your credit card number to a stranger over the phoneThis is not acceptableAdd states free shipping, no where does it say you have to pay $in the advertisementThere is no way to confirm the person on the other end of the phone is from sun umbrella The e-mail sent to me was asked to send pictures, nothing about sending the umbrella backSo I send the umbrella back as it is 100% guaranteed, what then I have to pay $for shipping of a new umbrella? This is advertisement

This business for one was very nasty towards meSecond their productive so cheaply made that the deficiency with the handle would keep recurring costing me $every time this happensI wanted a refund and they refused to discuss the matter with meCustomer service refused to talk to me on several occasions, never answered emails and when I did talk to someone they were very rudeI finally paid $40, took shipment of another inferior umbrella to resolve the issue.I am now selling this worthless product on *** tontrybtonrecoup part of my money backI will however get only around $50, so Ibeill lose moneyI have since purchased a far superior product from a more reputable companySo I do not withdraw my complaint for the way I was treated and the hassle they caused me to go throughMaybe that is how business is run in California but we don't conduct business here that way

I ordered what was described as, and looked online like, a chocolate brown umbrellaWhen it arrived (in only a couple of days) the color was more rusty than brown and clashed terribly with my patio furnitureIt took several phone calls and emails to get a responseThey finally offered a 20% refund or I could return it for a refund - to Canada! It was shipped from CA so why am I returning it to Canada?? It cost almost as much as the umbrella to return it! Maybe that's the point I decided to give it to a family member and order an umbrella from a Revdex.com accredited company

This is not an acceptable solution to me because the company does not disclose that in their warranty policyI have even called the company and the customer representative even told me it is not listed or disclosed anywhere on their siteTheir warranty is deceptive....especially since they capitalize the word FREERegardless if I send the umbrella back at my cost or pay the $for them to send a new one I am still paying more money and that is not "FREE." The whole reason why I purchased from this company was because of their lifetime warrantyIf I have to pay $every time the umbrella fails, I would have been better off purchasing elsewhereEspecially since this umbrella was used only months and stored indoors for the other monthsTo note, their response above is word for word what they sent me multiple timesEven though my response emails to the company changed I received the above message multiple times it is a generic response they send out.

(request of from me)However, they have not performed request #so that as of this time, their customers and prospective customers have no idea that, unless they go through the Revdex.com, they WILL get charged $for their "free" replacement umbrellaI am still looking for the business to honestly display their actual warranty policy OR make a statement that they will begin following their posted policy without the need to resort to have a consumer protection organization (like Revdex.com) go to bat for the consumer
