I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
The referenced response from Patio Sun Umbrella suggested I could receive a refund or a new umbrella.  I spoke to "[redacted]" at the phone number provided on their letter and he immediately began the evasive run-around routine I received from this company last year;  I'm still required to send my return to an address in [redacted], although this company is based in the [redacted].  The amount of refund that they will pay is $50.00 on an original purchase price of $229.98.  (Aside): [redacted]'s voice seemed remarkablysimilar to the individual I spoke with last year and I have no doubt (in my mind) that the scam continues.

First order we purchased went smoothly and received in a timely manner as per their statement. Second order however took several phone calls for several days to get resolved. The second order of umbrellas color didn't match the original ones purchased and waiting for exchange or return. Has taken them over two weeks to respond. Called them again today which it states on their website friendly customer service will guide you how to return well that wasn't the case for me. He said to send email but didn't' give me one to send. Went back to their website and called them again and got their automated service. Sent another email and will see if they reply.

The action they are asking me to take is unlawful. As the Magnus Moss Warranty Act states, a company may either have a full or limited warranty. Since patio umbrellas.com has stated that they have an UNLIMITED Warranty on their products with FREE shipping, and since they have already seen pictures of my umbrella and determined I am eligible for a replacement, it is wrong for them to make me pay $40 shipping for a replacement or pay at my own expense to ship the old one back. If they really need the old one back, why would they be ok with not getting it back and having me pay $40 to ship the new one? If they do need the old one back, an unlimited warranty would mean I do not have to pay for shipping. This is false advertising and trying to take advantage of me. I bought the umbrella based on their warranty claim that if anything went wrong it would be replaced for FREE. Hands down, the worst company I've ever dealt with. Ordered an umbrella, base, and umbrella cover. Promised 3-5 day shipping. 3 weeks later, I received the base -- which was drop-shipped as a "gift" from Amazon.com. A few days later, the cover arrived. I never did receive the umbrella. After several failed attempts to contact the company via email and telephone, I filed a complaint through my credit card company, and eventually received a full refund. (Thank you, [redacted]!)

would be satisfactory to me.  I will wait for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved.Please NOTE however that of my request that the business:1) Honor their written warranty by providing a replacement umbrella for free2) Have them write and display an honest version of their warranty policy. If $40 shipping charges are to be levied for the replacement of a failed umbrella, that should be clearly stated in their website policy.The business has stated by email: "we will honor our warranty by sending you a free replacement. Please allow 3-6 business days to receive the package." (request 1 of 2 from me)However, they have not performed request #2 so that as of this time, their customers and prospective customers have no idea that, unless they go through the Revdex.com, they WILL get charged $40 for their "free" replacement umbrella. I am still looking for the business to honestly display their actual warranty policy OR make a statement that they will begin following their posted policy without the need to resort to have a consumer protection organization (like Revdex.com) go to bat for the consumer.
