             Please be advised we were notified on August 6, 2014 for the first time we were calling an incorrect phone number.  The agent removed the phone number from our database, and no further phone calls have been made to the number in question.

Penn Credit reviewed, investigated, and located the personal business matter pertaining to [redacted] as referenced in his complaint.   On February 16, 2017, [redacted] spoke with a telephone representative and supervisor from Penn Credit regarding the matter.  Upon reviewing the...

recordings, I confirmed that that both calls were handled professionally.  The outcome of the conversation resulted in [redacted] advising he would send a letter regarding the matter.   On March 13, 2017 Penn Credit received a certified letter from [redacted] disputing the validity of the debt.  Penn Credit updated the dispute accordingly requesting verification of the debt from the original creditor.    If [redacted] is claiming fraud, please advise him to obtain a copy of a police report and have him forward directly to Penn Credit.  Upon reception, Penn Credit will send this information to the original creditor notifying them to conduct an investigation.   Please advise [redacted] that Penn Credit has never sent this account to the credit bureaus.    Penn Credit has acknowledged [redacted]’s request to cease and desist any further communication regarding the matter.   In the event [redacted] has any questions or concerns please have him contact me directly, Thomas P[redacted], toll free at ###-###-####; or email [redacted]@penncredit.com.   Thank you for your help in resolving this matter.

Penn Credit did review and investigate the complaint. Please advise [redacted] that he had several opportunities to contact Penn Credit and/or the legal firm to dispute or request an explanation of the account. Penn Credit sent out a validation notice to [redacted] and two additional notices...

without a response from [redacted]. Addtiionally, the attorney firm sent a notice for [redacted] to appear in court on June 27, 2016. I am not sure if he appeared or not. After the hearing the court would of sent [redacted] their decision. [redacted] was afforded several opportunities to inquire about the debt owed Cook County Department of Revenue and according to our records did not. I have reviewed and investigated the complaint.
Penn Credit represents the State of Maryland Comptroller’s office concerning personal income tax. The account in question is for tax year 2011 and the balance with Interest and penalties is $1,776.63.
Penn Credit received a call from the...

consumer on November 11, 2015 and disputed the claim. At that time as part of the investigative process itemization of the debt was requested and to date has not been received. Once received the information will be forwarded for review, discussion and resolution.
As and agency we need verification from the consumer or notification from the original creditor in order to credit, adjust and/or cease collection of an account.
The account has been placed in a status that ceases all forms of communication with the conusmer until [redacted]’s questions and concerns are addressed.

            Penn Credit has not received any payments for the outstanding tickets since these accounts were placed in our office on 5/31/2011.
 In reviewing the information on the client’s web site they are showing that they sent a notice to **. [redacted] on 6/09/2000 informing him his driver’s license would be suspended if he did not pay for the citations.  They then placed the citations in a different collection agency [redacted] on 11/11/2004 until 5/31/2001.
            The client’s website does show two other citations from 11/08/1998 were closed in and resolved in 2004, is it possible these are the tickets **. [redacted] is referring to in his complaint ?

IN REPLY:THERE WAS NO CONFUSION ABOUT THE PRODUCTS RECEIVED. I’M NOT FAMILIAR WITH A LOTION AND SPA SET. BUT I RECEIVED AND USED THE OTHER PRODUCTS. ONE POINT WAS THIS---I HAVE MAILED SEVERAL CASH PAYMENTS TOWARD THIS ORDER. WHEN I WAS CONTACTING THE COMPANY TO INQUIRE, SHE/HE FAILED TO MENTION RECEIPT OF CASH PAYMENTS. BUT MENTIONED RECEIVING CHECKS THAT DIDN’T GO THROUGH THE BANK. MAYBE THIS WAS A PRESENTATION ISSUE WITH THE PERSON GOING TO THE BANK.  PLUS I CONTINUED TO RECEIVE THE OFFERINGS OF PRODUCTS ON A REGULAR BASIS THROUGH CERTIFIED MAIL.  [redacted]WHO HIRED WHOM TO COLLECT WHAT ON THIS ACCOUNT?[redacted]ALSO I ATTACHED AN IMAGE THE PENDANT AND EARRINGS AND THE DOCUMENT FOLDERS. THOSE FOLDERS I COULD BUY AT ANY OFFICE STORE FOR 10$. THE NECKLACE AND EARRING SET WAS LISTED AS SILVER-TONE AND SIMULATED PEARL.
