Tell us why here... 
  I spoke with Mr. [redacted] informed him Peoples Gas records show his gas service was shut off 7/2/2015 for past due bills. Gas service shut off again 12/23/2015 for unauthorized gas usage; I've billed him for gas service between those dates. Mr. [redacted] did make a payment...

and an order to restore gas has been issued for 12/29/2015.

I am rejecting this response because:The People Gas Rep was no listen as evident of her response to conclude my grievance was inconvenience; instead had follow the instruction of their tech remove the door to the utility room and turned my appliances back on not knowing the pipes were disconnected I would be dead!As discussed with the People Gas Rep I did not agree, or informed, the tech to disconnect my gas appliance.  No one should be allowed to enter someone home and do anything with the customer knowledge; additionally, when asked the tech should be honest about exactly when he did and never instruct a customer with providing all details of what they did.I have no idea if my appliance were damaged or if my pipes are now leaking gas or Carbon Monoxide, while the tech was sneaking around in my basement;  also, I have no way of knowing if the job he came him to do was done correctly.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is not satisfactory to me but I'm closing the complaint because I feel there is nothing else I can do.  The representative response to the Revdex.com was inaccurate and not what was said during our initial conversation on 3/30/2017.  I did not feel that it was too soon to receive a notice, I told her the sticker on my door wasn't warranted since the appointment was made as outlined in the 2nd and final notice that I received.  She didn't apologize until today.Thank you for your assistance in this matter.

I spoke to customer 11/13/2015 on a ICC 3-way call and scheduled turn on 11/13/15 gas on.

11/16/17- Peoples Gas not showing a record of customer requesting a cut off  before 10/1/15.  However as a one time courtesy and to settle dispute, the balance of $49.38 has been waived.  The collection agency has also been notified to close this account. I left a message on the...

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find we were given our gas back after having to call the [redacted] Commerce Commission. I'm happy that we were able to resolve the issue, however we never received a letter after getting no bill. And, have caught Peoples Gas in many lies already. We were told by [redacted] that our desired resolution through the Revdex.com of not having to pay the back bill would be taken care of, but we then received the back bill. I'm again having trouble through the customer service of getting this resolved. We were told by [redacted] that we would now only be charged from March and on.

I have reached out to the customer regarding their inquiry and to apologize for the inconvenience. I received no response. Gas service was established on August 10, 2016. Customer can reach me at [redacted] if they have further questions.  Thank you [redacted]

I am rejecting this response because:  Nothing in the statement is true and it inaccurately describes the entire situation.1) I do not have a coach house.  The description provided does not fit my property at all.  More lies.2) The first appointment from People's Gas was scheduled online and the installer came thinking only 1 unit needed service, not all 4 units for the entire building.  More lies.3) My call to People's Gas was not premature because no one informed me the service was cut in the street by Peoples Gas.  My call was because I expected all units to be provided service.  To which the phone representative said I should have called rather than schedule online anyhow so he claimed the next appointment get service to all units.  It did not, 1 installer showed up to install for 1 unit again.  More lies.4) I was never contacted by the field representative since speaking with the author of this reply.  I called [redacted] today only to learn that service is not scheduled to installed tomorrow, Friday as reported.  More lies.5) [redacted] confirmed the permit was received but there is no plans for installation and he would reach out next week.  As an aside [redacted] had told me last week that he was off this week which clearly is not true either.  More lies.6) I was not told the service was cut for safety reasons.  With all respect for the professionalism provided by the author [redacted], she inquired if I had a gas account and I said no, so she assumed that was the reason but clearly said [redacted] should be able to tell me why it was cut off.  I asked [redacted] again today and as he said in the past, he does not know.  More lies.7) [redacted] encouraged me to call a number to report [redacted] should I consider his actions an attempt to collect a bribe.  She called today and left a message saying not to call the number after all and 'it was not correct for her to give me that number.'Nothing has been resolved.  Still have anticipated date of new service.  Still don't know why People's Gas cut service at the main last year inadvertintly causing a $1600 water leak.

I am rejecting this response because:I am only being offered a payment plan option when I have already paid for half the balance of the initial error.  I was expecting People’s Gas to pay for the remaining balance of their error.  The explanation I was given is that “companies make errors”.  Mistakes are bound to occur but also those who are responsible for the error should take full responsibility and rectify matters.  The customer should not have to be solely responsible for a company’s error.  Peoples Gas should hav offered to pay the bulk of they errored billing issue.  Thank you.

I have done what thet have asked me to do and this is the earliest return date they ha available. please follow up with me after that day,Customer service is due to call back after the NOV 21 date.  THANKS

Mr. [redacted] inquires why PGL disconnected the gas service at [redacted] I explained the service was disconnected because our meter here was locked on 5/28/15. According to records, the service was turned back on and being used. It was disconnected again on 12/16/15, Mr. [redacted] called...

later the same day after the service was disconnected. The application was held and a lease was requested. He submitted the necessary information and was scheduled for the next available day 1/13/16. I contacted him to make sure we get in today to turn on the service. Please consider this case closed.

I contacted the customer and had him forward a copy of his credit report to me, which I then sent to Credit/Collections Department. The credit bureaus have been advised to remove all negative reporting of late payments from customer's account. A letter has been issued and mailed to customer.

I tried explaining balance owing on account to Ms. [redacted] informed bankruptcy was filed on 12/12/2012. Amount owing isn't part of bankruptcy, it's bills from 12/12/2012 forward. I informed Ms. [redacted] $3395.16 was balance owing from previous account covering from 12/12/12 to 9/24/14 when gas...

service was shut off. Gas service was restored  3/31/2015 and payment arrangements where setup on 4/25/16 with balance owing of $4847.73.  Ms. paid $485 to setup arrangements, arrangements were for 12 months at $364 plus her current bill. Ms. [redacted] didn't make 1st payment due in May 2016 and payment arrangements were cancelled. Disconnection notices issued 9/3/2016 & 11/1/2016. Informed Ms. [redacted] full balance $5030.02 due to have gas service restored.

turned off without warning.  I am entitled to clarification to how this happen and to know my exact balance amount.

I explained to Ms. [redacted] when emergency order was called in 8/11/2017, gas odor was reported in hallway.  Service person was unable to locate leak at the time, Ms. [redacted] was on vacation at the time and we had no access to her apartment at the time, reason gas was shut off and letters...

posted.  Later it was determined gas odor was coming from unit 2A.  Gas service for Ms. [redacted] has been restored; I apologized for the inconvenience this matter has caused her. Tell us why here...
