June 26, 2017[redacted]Re: Revdex.com (“Revdex.com”) Case Number [redacted] Dear Mr. [redacted]:This is in response to your complaint filed on June 7, 2017, with the Revdex.com of Western Pennsylvania regarding your PNC Bank, National Association ("PNC”), CashBuilder credit card account ending in [redacted](“Account"), I appreciate the opportunity to address your concerns.According to your complaint, you stated that you were forced to close your Account because the person you worked with would not remove a late fee from your Account.On April 24, 2017 your monthly statement was issued indicating a required minimum payment in the amount of $25.00 was due on May 20, 2017. PNC received a payment in the amount of $787.40 on May 21, 2017. Since the payment was not received on May 20, 2017 your Account was assessed a late fee in the amount of $25.00 and an interest charge of $13.38 when your Account cycled on May 25, 2017.On June 5, 2017 PNC received a call from you requesting that the late fee and interest charge be removed from your Account. The representative that you spoke with, as a courtesy, removed the $13.38 interest charge. At that time you chose to close your Account. The representative disclosed that the closing process cannot be reversed. You agreed at that time to close your Account.During our conversation on June 7, 2017, as a courtesy, PNC credited your Account for the $25.00 late fee. PNC respectively declines your request to reopen your Account or change what PNC rep[redacted]ed to the credit bureaus to which we report.Thank you for allowing me to clarify our position in this matter. PNC bank charges overdraft fees in a way that is very underhanded and leaves the customer with no opportunity to make payments to their accounts in order to avoid the fees. I log online to my account quite often and find PNC does not post certain charges until late at night, at times 11:59pm, so...

that fees can be incurred the next day. This past week, a fee was added to my account for an overdraft that occurred a week ago, and inserted into the online page just this week, but inserted in it's slot 1 week ago "manipulating" the online daily reports (The problem was that this was inserted 5 days later)...so that any purchases made after the fees were assessed would incur "MORE" fees. There is no way the customer would know this in advance of making any purchases. The online staff just looks at what the online page shows and are unable to offer any solutions except to keep a written account handy, and do not trust what you see online...that's crazy! It's unbelievable how many fees this company is charging their customers! Before you join this bank, go online and see the complaints against them...it's the same over and over again...each overdraft is $36!!!, but they will post things at close to midnight so you have no chance of fixing the overdraft until the next day which is too late! They also (Other banks do this too) rearrange the purchases so that the biggest always shows up first, so that in the end, 2 visits to the dollar tree can cost you $36 each. This practice is just taking advantage of people and something needs to be done. This bank is making a killing on it's customers with no remorse. The bank operators are instructed to say, "there's nothing they can do, it's all done electronically"...so why have them then? I've lost hundreds this year, thousands in the past...I'm done with PNC. Someone needs to consider a class action lawsuit against this company!

details of the offer I reviewed appear below.I got one message from PNC Bank While I was just home from traveling home from Indianapolis, IN. The message was impersonal and didn't speak to any of the issues, just that I should call them. For them to say they consider this matter closed is an insult, and I will handle it myself by stopping my direct deposit into that account as soon as possible and moving my banking altogether to the credit union I use for my savings account. Im absolutely tired of the fees that PNC bank charges, especially when I set up alerts and the emails sent to notify you come after the fact of the matter actually happens. For a bank as large as PNC to worry about their 36 dollar fees like it does and try to fight its customers over it, I now know once and for all that I need a new bank after using PNC for close to 2 decades. Thank you Revdex.com for your help with this matter and for the other times you helped me get fees or improperly withdrawn or scammed money back from this bank.Sincerely, [redacted]

On 6-29-2017, a second dispute was filed and provisional credit applied to customer's account. We provided this information to the customer. Per REG E regulations, there are timeframes for the dispute process. We are monitoring this until the final resolution
