complaint that she had been misinformed as to whether her application for a Best Egg loan would cause an
inquiry to be placed on credit

This matter was escalated to our operations management team prior to receipt of your complaintWe
reviewed our records and listened to the calls between *** *** and our representativeOur call
center did not provide adequate customer serviceWe train our representatives and gives them procedures
to insure customers understand our application process, know what information will be requested from the
credit*** bureaus and how it will be reported on their credit bureau reportWe reached out directly to ***
r and apologized to her for her experience.
*** *** asked us to submit a request to Experian to delete the inquiry on her credit bureau
reportWe provided her with written documentation that we submitted the request and acknowledged that
she would not have made an application for a loan but for the fact that she was told the credit bureau inquiry
would be a “soft inquiry” on her credit bureau fileWe have taken steps to address this matter with our
phone representatives.
We also regret any confusion about if household income would considered as a part of *** ***’s
individual loan applicationWe have sought to make this point clear to prospective customers though the
disclosures on our offer letters and on our websiteWe have taken steps to make this more clear throughout
our solicitation and application process.

In final step, It appeared "No offer is available for you this time."
My credit score is not bad
Just one month ago, I purchased new car with 0.9% loan from honda financing company
They got my information only, It is a kind of scam
Best Egg, you are not best, you are just horrible egg!
Don't waste your time and stop giving information to them

I agree with the other negative review posted here One other said it so well I copy here: I received a PRE-APPROVED letter only to go online and enter my information and receive the response that Best Egg had no offers for me at this timeWhat is the purpose of sending out PRE-APPROVAL letters if there is not actually a scenario of PRE-APPROVAL? I have excellent credit but I do have some credit card debt I would like to consolidateI researched Best Egg online and read several reviews both good and bad and decided they would be a good optionIt was disappointing to enter all of my private information with the intentions of using the Best Egg service only to be "tossed aside" in a matter of secondsCertainly not the service advertisedComes very close to advertisement in my opinion

I used Lending Club in the past, and by comparison, Best Egg is awfulThey outsource their payment systems to a different company, which creates an unhelpful disconnect when trying to gather information from themWhen I got my offer, the APR actually came out better than I had originally expected, which is why I didn't check the credit report at the timeAfter a few days, I realized it would be great to see what credit score they used to set my rate, as I was curios how it compares to the estimated scores from my bank's credit monitoring websiteAfter being bounced around to different call centers, it became clear that they didn't keep my credit score informationI'm not sure what they use for documentation to support their rates, but this is a very basic element to an underwriting file, and I'm pretty sure not providing my credit score on request violates the Truth in Lending ActI would recommend staying clear of Best Egg for now, as the whole business seems new and dysfunctional/not fully developed in their processes when compared to Lending Club (which had my credit score information easily accessible, along with all the other loan documentation, directly on their website)

I am pleasantly surprise the ease in having my loan approved and receiving the loan amount as quickly as possible

Wow! I couldn't be more happier when same day I applied and got approved within hourI have very high balances on several credit cards, with high APR of course, but none of the so called "peer to peer" clubs I applied for have responded yet and it's already the 3rd day My own home bank won't even approve the same thing I applied at Best Egg Good new is, today's a charm! Best Egg beat them all in terms of approval process, and of course, the APR I got approve for is so low I haven't gotten the funds credit yet, but I was informed 1-business days Who knows it will be tomorrow! The advertisement is completely different than actual interest rate and the amount of loanThey are very pushyI stopped filling out the form because I thought with negative income announced on tax return they won't approve the loanThey called me twice and when I told them the reason that I did not continue the application the person who called, told me no that is not an issue and when I continued instead of $30,requested loan the system approved $10,for interest rate of 21.99% to be paid back in three yearsThen someone called me and said the loan is not approvedWhen I told him about what their representative told me and pushed me to continue he said well sorry about that

Very straightforward site and is user friendly

This was the easiest loan I've ever acquired I was able to apply, provide the required documents and sign all without leaving my office or taking time away from work The best part was the money was directly deposited to my checking account by the next day!!!! That was AMAZING !! I would absolutely recommend anyone using this company for a loan I know I will definitely use them again if the need arises !
