I love the Best Egg. It was convenient. The best part, the money was in my account so quickly!

Received a pre-screen offer that I was approved for $40,000..When I inquired the service rep was horrible and after I provided the necessary information I was told that I was not denied but that Best Egg did not have a program for me....very vague...when I called back and spoke with a supervisor, I got the same answer.in addition I was told that I would receive a follow up email..still waiting...very uncomfortable encounter with this company.

The process appeared to be quick and easy. I was approved in less than 5 minutes with the terms as agreed. However, I have not yet received the funds or began the payment process. I was not very thrilled with the origination fee but it made a major difference in the interest I am currently paying. Time will tell!!

The online application was quite easy to use and the approval was fast.

I still have not received my material lien waver or product and labor warranties from platinum roofing even though I've paid in full. I'm worried that this company is going out of business and I won't be able to retrieve these documents.

Shady , I think they are trying to get your info. I have been getting offers in the mail for six months or more. Finally I decided to apply and the answer is nothing is available now. what a joke. MY credit score has not changed in the last 6 months and total debt is decreasing.

I was first contacted by Best Egg through their unsolicited offers. Until then, I hadn't really put a lot of thought into how I would get out from under >$30k in credit card debt. I enjoyed a reasonable credit score, good salary, and certainly was not bankrupt. But these 5 credit cards ranged from a 9% interest rate to 25%. It felt overwhelming. I do have a bank and a mortgage, etc, but I was not "excited" about approaching them for a solution, and the painstakingly invasive experience this can sometimes be. So I began to research Best Egg based on their mailings, which described online ease. Overall, I liked what I read about them, their careful history and their backers, so I engaged in the process. They offered a $33,000 loan (my requested amount) over 5 years (you also have a 3 year option) at 14.99% with a $0 origination fee in my case. I accepted this offer, as this debt disappears in 5 years versus 29 years of minimum payments on each credit card individually, PLUS, the Best Egg payment was measurably less than the individual credit cards combined. I started the process online, and Best Egg requested three easy pieces of extra documentation: 2 paystubs, last year's W-2, and verification from my employer that I was a full-time employee. After attaching those documents to an email, the loan was approved -- 3 HOURS after I started the process. The loan was funded, and $33,000 deposited into my checking account, 28 hours after the approval. Their loan agreement stated I could change the account from pulling automatic payments to getting a statement and mailing it myself (which I like to do in case I wish to pay extra), so after its funding, I called customer service to do so. Their agent was knowledgeable, careful to verify my identity, and processed my request without issue. The change was made to the account overnight. From start-to-finish, Best Egg did everything they advertised they could do for qualified borrowers, and they did it in the time-span they tout. Writing those checks to pay off those credit cards was a great feeling, and knowing the debt is gone in five years is SUCH a relief. Reviewing the statements that come and seeing the "Current Balance" go down in a significant way each month is a nice experience, too, as opposed to minimum payments to credit cards whose balances never seem to noticeably decrease. Not only WILL I recommend Best Egg to others, I already have. This is a "stand-up" company and I hope they are proud of the product and service they provide to consumers.

Why can I not get a lower interest rate and why can I not split my payments in half over thw.month? I get paid.every 2 weeks and it would be easier to split the payment in half while you will still receive whole payment on agreed upon date

They tried contacting me a few times and because I have a few different cards I'd like to consolidate I thought it was worth checking out.
Lied when they emailed and sent me physical mail when it said "pre-approved" and check my APR "risk free".. In fact, they hit my credit, and then had the audacity to deny me the "pre-approved" loan they offered multiple times.
I have a credit score of more than 700 and enough credit history. DON'T waste my time sending me junk mail about being approved when I haven't been and you're just going to waste my time and hurt my credit score. A bunch of garbage.
